Tom, Michelle, Earl, and everyone at Carquip are absolutely fabulous - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. They have vintage Porsche parts, the knowledge about how each classic vehicle works, and the patience to talk someone like me through the necessary points prior to purchase. Not to mention, Tom has been finding, pulling, and shipping parts for me with zero issue, which has been a life saver! We are figuring out an LS swap on an old 1984 944 NA, and I could not have gotten this far without their help.If you drive a classic Porsche (or are restoring one as a project), this is the company to speak with about it. A bit out of the way, but well worth the drive! If I could give them a 6/5 star rating, I would.

Met with Tom in person and looked at a 356 he had for sale. Very honest and knowledgeable. Great experience and will gladly do business with him.

Buyer beware, particularly if you are purchasing a vehicle from a different state. As an enthusiast I trusted that they were being honest and transparent regarding the vehicle that I purchased. Unfortunately less than 12 hours later when I arrived home, I found oil leaks on both sides of the motor. I contacted them immediately, I received a response several days later. After a couple of weeks of discussions (which thankfully were handled in a professional manner by both parties) they chose to ignore the issue. Additionally, it was stated that I must have done something to the vehicle on my way home causing the leaks. To add to the insult, it was also stated that “all air-cooled Porsche’s leak” and that I never asked about leaks, despite asking several times prior to purchase. If working with small/local companies is important to you (it is for me), just beware that ethics and personal integrity are not valued here.

Tom has been in the Porsche parts business for decades and stocks thousands of used parts for older models. His support is much appreciated by the thousands of his customers/enthusiasts who enjoy these cars.

The guy sat on the phone while I stood there for about 15 minutes; the least amount of respect he could have shown was to put them on hold to finish our short conversation. One where they didnt have the part I needed anyway. Unprofessional & arrogant to say the least.

Chris is a phenomenal mechanic, I take my both my Subaru and Porsche here to get serviced, I have used their service for years and they perform impeccable work from basic oil changes on my subi to rebuilding and customizing my Boxster S for VERY reasonable pricing.FYI they specialize in old school Porsche track racing cars, are EXTREMELY knowledgeable on engine performance and consistently are rebuilding trannys and engines on exotics (in the past 5 years ive seen Lams, Raris, Mazis, GTRs, Fiskar karmas, NSXs, astons, r8s, etc all being worked on when taking my car in for service)
