UNTRUSTWORTHYI went in to purchase of Tacoma only to find it didn’t have a backseat so rather than figuring out how to put a backseat in it I went a few models up. I bought the truck on the lot with all the bells and whistle‘s. I was guaranteed it has been inspected but a little over a month later my $28,000 Toyota Tacoma with less than 50,000 miles on it has a power steering leak and it’s going to cost me $800 to fix. I was initially offered a warranty which was overpriced and I said no because a Toyota Tacoma with less than 50,000 miles on it shouldn’t have any of the problems listed on the warranty.My mechanic, who I trust, was doing an oil change and an inspection at my request. He said he could see how Boulder Nissan’s mechanic might pencil whip the inspection because this problem would be that rare, but this is most likely something that would’ve been seen on an actual inspection. I spoke to Ted and give him an opportunity to make amends and he instead offered me a warranty. I have an $800 loss on the purchase of this vehicle and they want to sell me more coverage? Rather than correcting their error they try to take more money from my pocket.I highly recommend you choose a different dealership.

The service department has gone downhill. I have been going to Boulder Nissan for almost 10 years and I will not be returning. In October, I went there for a simple oil change and waited 2 hours. I went to get an oil change this morning and was told that the battery terminal had corrosion. The technician did not replace the terminal cover and as I drove off the lot my car was making a loud rattling noise on the passenger side of the car. Turned my car around and the service adviser had to dislodge the terminal cover from another part of the car.

I tried buying a battery for my key fob. The guy charged me on the credit card screen $50,000 for a battery that cost $5.42 of course I brought it to his attention and didn’t put my card in. But it was extremely unprofessional.
Once Nissan and I got on the same page, Chris Allen and Eddie worked hard to get my issues resolved. Overall it has been a lengthy frustrating process, but progress is being made.
