Good food. Not very organized with order fulfillment- I have canceled my order a couple of times, when they could not manage the rush. I keep going back though as the food is tasty and reasonably priced.
I wish i could rate this place in numbers, i would give 0, 2 days ago i went with my family, we ordered veg fried rice, palak paneer, pizza puff, noddles, kaju katli, i told the guy dont make it too spicy he said everything is medium now, i was like ok. then we took the food at home, it was way too spicy for all of us and paneer puff was so hard, the food taste was too bad, then kaju katli was so sugary and if you look at the prices theyre so expensive, my total bill was 67$ only for this type of food, seriously not going back again, that was the last time. we wanted to give another chance to see if they made any improvements but still theyre getting worst.
This is an Indian Store. We get most of the Indian Grocery items in this store. Cakes, pastries and other fresh food items are also available.
Love stopping here because it is so different. Today I did not find what I wanted (barberries) but bought what I do not need (more paprika). I also got some okra to add to my gumbo
Good store with a wide variety of products / brands. Isles are a little narrow and lack overhead product signs for easy navigation.
Mayuri Restaurant Bothell If we take groceries from you, it is your duty to give us bags, you are not giving bags from above and if you are taking bags, then you are charging if you know if I have more luggage then give the bag If I put you first, you must tell later you should know yourself how similar it is, it cannot go in hand
All the groceries vegetables pooja items you want. But too crampy aisles to wheel your trolley around . Long slow moving queue to the billing desk ;with slow lethargic staff .
Have tried their sweet - chum chum. There veg, egg and paneer puffs. All are very tasty and yummy. Every time I go to get some grocery, I come back with either sweet or a puff or both.
Big Indian super market chain with presence in Bothell, Bellevue and Redmond. Pro tip fresh vegetables on Sunday and Wednesday
Clean, organized and well stocked. Staff are helpful and courteous. Family is big fan of their fresh and delicious Indian snacks and South Indian Tiffin items. Greatly recommended!
I do not recommend the meat shop attached to Mayuri. I ordered and paid for 3lb of chicken and received less than 2 lb. The cashier made a show of weighing the meat, but customer cannot see weight total. Not written on receipt either.
Sweet prices above the roof better buy sweets from sweet shops in Kent.
We haver ordered food on Wednesday dinner and it is worst. None of them are freshly made (parantha/chat). Im not sure why they would take orders if they dont want to serve fresh food.Lesson learnt - may be stay away from Mayuri for cooked food.
The food was good. Ordered ahead by Beyond Menu and the order wasnt quite complete at the requested time. Note that they have two kitchens with different entrances. The vegetarian kitchen is in with the store, the non-veg is next door with the meat counter.
Dishes are always well prepared, flavorful, and filling. My favorites: Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken and Tiki Masala - oh and the Garlic Naan - delicious! Good portions at reasonable prices!
Best Cake Ever! We ordered an eggless sheet cake with tons of customizations. The cake was extremely beautiful and super yummy. Some guests who have diabetes and never eat cake were begging for a bigger piece. Too bad the bakery guy named Saurav is moving to a different state soon.
I do love to order from this place !There’s also a grocery store and it’s amazing if you are looking for Indian snacks and food.
Today at Mayuri I saw typical Indian business mentality. Until last week 1 LB sweet was for $ 10.99 or $ 11.99 + taxes but today on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan we visited the shop to buy sweets. The same sweet price is found as $ 15.99 + taxes!!!!Come on guys seriously!! You have brand in Bothell Wa and just for the quick profit you increases the prices by $ 4.Pl grow up!!!
DO NOT BUY BAKERY ITEMS OR YOU WILL GET POISONED. The pastries are spoiled, probably more than a month old. I filed a complaint with foodsafety.gov Redmond store used to be of high quality. This cant be more nasty!
I got all the things I needed was very pleased great for all indian prayer things and food was good too.reasonable price and variety of stuffs.
Quality of food really went down here. Ordered paneer, gobi and Aloo paratha and they were doughy and filled with green chillies. Extremely disappointed with the food. It was so good in the beginning but now its pretty bad. Hope they can get the quality better.
Good selection, but not all items are marked with price and some of the items that are marked with price, ring up at a different price at the register.
I was there today and the guy at the bakery had issues. In the past when I took sweets they were spoiled, so asked for taste. The guy was showing his attitude and when asked for manager, his manager was helpless.Giving 2vstars just because of taste of food.
Collection is good. However in my visit, the Jalebis tasted really bad. Not only were they not sweet, the after feel in mouth was terrible. Hope this was just a one off exception.
Good place for Indian groceries in the Bellevue/Redmond area
Food tasted horrible. Too much salty in one and the other dish was obviously stale.
Worst place to buy pastries. Bought chocolate truffle cake slices and it tasted horrible. The cake was definitely spoiled. Dont know how long they had it in their case. Cant take my mind off the horrible taste. Wont recommend this place to anyone.
I will no longer buy food from this place as I have seen the folks in the kitchen, preparing/handling the food, not wear masks correctly (not covering their nose).
Theyre OK not too friendly yet not too rude either all in between
Great place to shop Indian grocery and yo top it they also have a vegetarian kitchen serving some really tasty snacks. Very reasonably priced and for groceries they accept PRIME card too!
Nice snacks and sweets. I was missing Indian type Pastries mainly Pineapple Pastry and I found a place where I get that. You get fresh sweets over here
Indian store to buy all Indian stuff.. Foodstuffs, spices, farsan, groceries, frozen foods.. everything in short.. theres also a bakery consisting pastries, puffs, samosas and small eatery for hot snacks and south Indian, chinese items you also get.. Theres also a little Indian cookware items section.
Very fresh sweets at the sweet shop. Lots of options too!
Good store but they need a better line up process for the food area as it can be better organized.
Don’t ever order fish curry . Worst ever ! Total Waste of money and time
Good indian store
I always buy from this store. However please be transparent about the price on any item that is on the shelf. Do the right thing please!
Recently purchased Indian sweet Balushahi. Terrible quality. I wouldn’t even call it a sweet. All I could taste is excessive ghee. Just giving two stars for your attempt to make Balushahi. I regularly experience inconsistent quality at Mayuri. If you like a food item today, no guarantee next time it will taste same.
Very clean and neat place. Looks more modern than other international groceries I had been to. There is also fresh vegetables
Very clean grocery store and restaurant. Respectable staff.Only grocery store that offers biodegradable bags for produce. And for that reason itself, its my favorite store.
Well stocked indian grocery store. They also serve food made on the premises. I think at this point, due to Covid, it is only carry out. I see many Indians getting food there. I can only have dosa masala, because other food is too spicy. But if you like dosa, you will not be disappointed.
Worst Indian restaurant on the eastside. We ordered couple of family packs recently and wee appalled at the quality and taste of their food. The biryanis were completely bland and void of any flavor. Their vegetarian biryanis were decent but their meat biryanis were terrible.
They take the crown for making the worst Chicken Biryani in all of the west coast. I recently ordered their Chicken Biryani and Chicken Manchurian. Both of them were bland, salt less, and were over cooked. The chicken in the biryani was as chewy as rubber. The rice they use in making biryani is the cheapest and flavorless basmati rice that looks nice but tastes like garbage. There was absolutely zero flavor in biryani. It tasted as if they boiled rice in colored water and dropped in overcooked meat. Within 5 min of radius there are two fantastic restaurants (Paradise and Namaste) that make good biryanis. The manchurian was horrible and had to trash it the moment I took a bite. It tasted like it was a week old food that was reheated in the oven.
Great selection of Indian groceries. Great little fast food corner. Order your food while you shop for groceries. Appropriately priced food and groceries. Everything A to Z indian one stop grocery store and fast food.
One of the worst customer service experience in this Store. They looked like races, treated customer in different way by ethnicity.
Quoted me different price when i placed the order on call, at store they charged me $4 extra per pound when i was picking up my order.Never coming back again.
The only Indian grocery chain in Seattle area making sure customers dont go bankrupt buying Indian groceries during COVID. Other Indian stores have marked up prices so much taking advantage of situations. I went to other Indian store and had to spend 17 dollars for 100 grams of cardamom.
They are milking money here. Everything is at least triple the price compared to stores in other states. Sadly not many good options in Seattle even with huge Asian populations.
This review is for the meat shop. I love Indian food but I am not familiar with all the names of foods in the meat store. There is no explanation of what things are and the employee did not seem to want to help me. Very awkward for a someone who is not familiar with the offerings and language. Stuff looked and smelled delicious, maybe Ill hire an interpreter and go back.
Well managed way better then other indian stores that are near bys...Love it ...
This is amazing shop for indian groceries
Food is good but they dont pick the call most of the time. Its very hard to give an order over the phone. Most of time, phone doesnt ring. Even if it rings, noone attend the call ..
Small Indian grocery store with limited choices and higher prices than other stores
I drove two hours to a medical appointment in Bellevue and was driving around aimlessly looking for some place to eat and happened upon Mayuri Foods Restaurant. Ive never eaten Indian food but I love curry and thought I would check it out. I literally had no idea what anything was and stood there confused until a worker (manager?) came up and helped me. He suggested some kind of chicken curry dish that was a house specialty so I went with it. I have to tell you it was the best meal Ive eaten out in YEARS. The boneless chicken pieces were covered in some kind of sauce and it was served over the the most delicious rice Ive ever eaten. The flavor was AMAZING. It also came with two side sauces a savory flavorful sauce and a yogurt cucumber tasting sauce. The portion was huge so I had to take most of it home with me. I have to admit I pulled over at a rest stop half way home near Mt. Vernon and had to eat some of the leftovers and ate the rest shortly after arriving back home. That night and especially the next morning I was CRAVING MORE!!! I seriously wanted to make the 4 hour round trip just to try the food again. Luckily, I have a follow up appointment in two weeks and will be bringing an ice chest so I can buy a few of the other dishes to take home and try. Im also excited because it looks like they may have an Indian grocery store right next to, or near the restaurant Im looking forward to checking out as well. If anyone happens to know the dish I ate I would appreciate the name of it. It was fried chicken pieces covered in a thick savory brownish red sauce, sliced red onion, all on top of rice full of Indian spices and two side sauces. I stated I liked Curry so it may have been that or something similar. Thanks in advance. I look forward to eating here again. Also, if you are able to send me messages on this review please send me some recipes to try....I would love to at least learn how to cook the rice.
The quality of the food is below average and the way they serve is very poor. Made us wait for 45 minutes for the food and then served it cold. Food is pricey and the taste was stale. I was surprised how could someone eat such low standard food. Most of it went in trash. Never going back to the restaurant again.May be we expect food to be tasty and warm when it offers very little nutrition. But why eat something thats neither tasty nor healthy?
Good store for finding almost all Indian items. All puja items can be found there.
I get mutton from their meat shop, they pack very old meat pieces in the bottom of every pack (so you cant see it) which will spoil your dish if not taken out and if you take it out it comes to 1/2 lb easily... So theres no sense of quality unfortunately.
Too expensive compare to other Indian stores.
The food is reasonably good but placing an order over the phone is a real challenge.
This is a one stop shop for all your needs for indian stuff. They also have a restaurant that serves tasty and budget food
There sweet and bakery is awesome.Under one shop u will get groceries and food.
You cannot find better kababs in Washington State.
Vegetarian Food Takeout - the food quality and service keeps getting worse. I was a regular at this spot, in the last month I have ordered food at least 3 times. They gave an estimate of 15-20 mins, but didnt start preparing food till I went up 20 mins later to check at counter. Each time the folks behind the counter had to request/actually plead the chef multiple times before they started preparing my order.Their food used to be pretty good, but in the last few months has been pretty terrible. Most recently I got a paneer biryani. It was nothing short of a disaster. The paneer seemed to be dipped in red tasteless sauce and the rice was just plain unsalted, no where close to anything you would associate with biryani. Extremely disappointed.
Expensive prices than other stores
Check out this large but very hole-in-the-wall store. Very clean and very well stocked. If you need Indian food, spices, or incense, dont hesitate to give it a try
Shoddy, unethical place. They always try to trick the customers and you are never sure of the quality of products that u get. There are multiple other Indian grocery stores in the vicinity, go there and avoid this place at all costs.
Few people do their work well but sometimes the employees miss out to provide the sauce or something or the other whenever we order food for togo ! They need to be like mindful while giving the orders.
I tried food here today morning. I ordered rava onion dosa and onion uttapam. Both the dishes tasted horrible. The taste was nowhere near to how it is supposed to be. The only thing good was the tea.
No precautions whatsoever for covid. Saw their employees cleaning the carts with a dry rag. There are no limits on how many people can be in there. Given how tightly they have stacked, one couldnt even step without stepping on somebodys toes
Good collection of sweets
Good Indian store located in Bothell! Busy almost always and good prices. They have a chaat and sweet corner in the store which is very nice.Really liked the Samosa Chaat here. Pav Bhaaji was very average - sweet bread and the bhaaji wasn’t great.
Clean place, friendly staff. More vegetable availability would be great.Restaurant is always chaotic. Have had to wait for more than an hour for paid food.
Food is good but this South American guy with glasses who is a cashier should get fired. He is rude to customers. Very rude
Ordered fresh chapati from Mayuri Foods however it was smelly and made out of stale flour.
Best Indian Groceries
I had a wonderful time in this place. We loved the nice environment and the menu. The waiters are very amiable. I’m happy we finally decided to eat here.
Just avoid this place.
Best Indian grocery in Bothell. Nice and clean, well organized and friendly staffs...
I go with my family at least once in week to buy groceries and to eat South Indian food I am from Hyderabad I have four kids and we love South Indian food. Today 8/23/20 between 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm I went to eat and I placed a order for 2 masala dosa 3 pav bhaji and round bhajiya. By mistake I don’t know it’s our side or a person who is taking a order made a mistake when Herman call for 3 vada pav I said we order pav bhaji. She rang again and I paid for the difference and also I purchased one vada pav I felt bad because I don’t want to waste the food.My order was taken by a South Indian girl but a girl“ Herman”, she might be from Punjab or somewhere in India. She was talking to a girl who is from south India about the order. My wife and myself watching she was very rude with her. We saw the other girl was crying and started to talk about her with other employees that she so this and that. I didn’t feel good and I approached to Herman and I told her please let me pay for that 3 vada pav but I request her not to make her cry or behave like this with your co-worker for small mistake I said every one makes mistake but you need to learn and handle the situation. She got offended and she starts arguing with me and later on my wife told her the way she spoke and did back biting we were watching her. She kept arguing with my wife and myself and I asked her can I talk to the Manager she said I don’t care( many times) I understand on Sunday owner or Manager doesn’t work most of time they make somebody in-charge. I know who is the Manager I don’t know his name but if I see him i will definitely talk to him.Keeping a employee like Herman you will always loose good workers me and wife can tell she is not happy working there so how can she make other people happy. She was grumpy, rude, doesn’t know how to deal with customer all I wanted to says is I cannot see a girl was crying right front of us for one small mistake it might be my mistake but she doesn’t deserve to get treated from Herman like this so she need to say sorry to sorry 15 times.I care about your business I hope you will take care of this matter and make her more professional.
Good place to buy Indian food and other items in bothel.
This is not the first time they made a mistake, the guys are working there really useless don’t take the order properly or they don’t even act they do the right thing no mask no gloves at all they do what every they want, really shameful about mayuri.
Primarily Indian grocery and vegetables. They even have a food court in which is not bad.
Friendly staff and nice selection of Indian food ingredients.
Friendly people and a good sized store! Also a nice selection of British snacks and candy. Not the cleanest or best organized, but pretty darn good. The could improve consistency of their sets and have things available more regularly
Worst customer service at food section . Not the first time they don’t follow the que system it’s chef wish. People order late wil get thier food you need be lucky to get yours FYI 30 mins since order still yet thier mercy for food
I ordered 1 curry and roti and it took them more than 30mins to make it, this is when they are not even busy. I have the same experience every time I order the food here. Every time I ask for it, they say 5 more mins. They just act like people will wait and they can take their sweet time.
Called them to enquire about a product and they confirmed its availability. Travelled 45mins only to be informed they do not have that in stock. They mentioned the person attending the calls was not well informed☹️
Long waiting time, food is decent.
Great selection of Indian spices! Their little deli restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!
They have two sections. 1. Store: has good grocery options, pretty clean place.2. Bakery/fast food: their food is good. But the customer service is very bad. If there is any mistake or problem the staff just smile or laughs instead of trying to apologize and solve. The seating arrangement is a mess. It is good to get your food togo. I hope they do something about these issues, because the food there is good.
