The staff in the butcher department center cant or wont wear their masks properly. I come here every week to see them with their masks hanging off their chin or just around their mouth handling raw meat and stocking the freezers around other customers. All thee other staff seem GREAT about masks except these employees. I havent bought meat here in about a month due to this.

Im not impressed with this store. Three people working behind the meat counter, although I was seen by one of them, I waited for a good three minutes without being waited on and left.I could not find whipping cream and I asked three people and no one seemed to know where it is located or seemed interested in helping me find it. I left the store without the item.Would I shop this store again? No. There are plenty of grocery stores in the area, I would not need to return to this Safeway.

Large Safeway store with plenty of manned checkout counters, spacious shopping aisles and expansive selection. Its pleasant to grocery shop here compared to other locations. The staff are friendly and helpful, the restroom is clean. All the services typically offered at a Safeway are available here (key duplicating vending machine, Orca top up etc).

Many thanks to the female butcher who graciously helped me with my order. Food is fresh and the store is clean. An excellent shopping experience.

This is my regular Safeway and they usually have just what I need. Been going here a while and Im still finding new things a lot of the time.

Affordable, clean, nice selection of food choices. I was shocked to see exotic fruit displayed ....dragon fruit for $7.99 ea and melon for $9.95 ea. But, Publix has them beat at sub- station, ice tea and bakery.

What to say it is a Safeway, they have ice which is typically my main reason for going here. They have all the normal ammenities, flowers, bakery, meat department, pharmacy, and so on. It is hard to make a review about a place so standardized.

Terrible attendance. The woman who attended me now treated me very badly because I didnt understand her, he speaks very fast and is very harsh.

I was really impressed with the full shelves, beautiful produce and the cleanliness.Jim or John made me the most fabulous sandwhich EVER! The Starbucks crew was wonderful as I just needed some ice to keep my dogs water cold.

This store has improve so much since opening that I logged on to write a review praising the positive change. We now drive out of our way, past another grocery store we used to frequent, to shop here.

Safeway is expensive, but as a Texan, any store that sells steak fingers in the Pacific NW is amazing.

Safeway has generally good safe practice for social distancing and sterilizing. Good quality items and usually very well-stocked. Their support of food banks during this difficult time is very much appreciated, and part of the reason for my loyalty. Also, very good gas prices.

Its been a while since I went in but its a very big store with lots of choices... I would be surprised if you walked out of this store emptied handed...

Beautiful seafood case with lots of high-end wild/sustainable fish (Chilean sea bass, sushi grade ahi tuna, swordfish, mahi-mahi), many other sustainably sourced fish (petrale sole, Dover sole, true cod, Alaskan halibut). Seafood provided locally by Lusamerica Fish out of Fife, WA.

This is a great Safeway. They have a lot of great produce and meat. They have a great deli, floral department and a fuel station here. Remember to shop first to get more club points for fuel discounts.Staff always seems friendly. All staff are wearing masks and store seems to have good coronavirus protocols. I have seen customers not wearing masks though on occasion, but majority are.

Safeway in Kenmore is clean, well stocked and well maintained. All these are normal expectations, of a grocery store, so the average rating of three is appropriate. Disappointing me loses stars, while pleasant surprises will earn stars.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, my main concern was for the female employee working at register 4 tonight maskless, she even was speaking to another woman and her child who were also both maskless, talking about being maskless. CDC guidelines with Inslee’s mask mandate still states that costumers and employees be wearing a mask. So why wasn’t yours tonight? It was very unsettling and to overhear their conversation? The pandemic is still going on, so this was very saddening to witness.

02:20 PM on 14Aug2021, I was shopping at this place at the manual check out line. There was a Safeway employee handling issues at the self checkout counter and was observed yelling at a customer out of frustration. She was rude and even making a face to this lady in front of other customers I felt very embarrassed and sorry for the customer .

Good selection and usually not that busy, but enough employees to make things move fast enough.

I choose Safeway whenever I also have to buy 🍞 bread. Their bread is much better than QFCs bread. I find safeway to be a bit more expensive than the competition. They have a wider variety of fresh produce the most grocery stores in the area.

A clean, organized store with friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom is always a bit dirty though.

Full disclosure, this is a review posted during the pandemic lockdown. So, take it with a grain of salt...available in aisle 7.Given what they need to deal with on a pretty regular basis, this place is doing a really good job. In fact, its out of my way, but I still prefer it to the other grocery stores nearby that shall remain nameless. The selection is just that much better.Their primary issue probably isnt even their fault, but more often than not, I find them to be out of stock on the two or three items I specifically came to get. It is something that could be resolved if they knew the items that were unique to their location, and just carry more of them.Nevertheless, in virtually every other area, they do a phenomenal job. Ive never visited and found so much as a dust mote. The place is kept immaculate. The staff here are doing fantastic, especially under the present circumstances. People can be awful, and these folks stay totally upbeat and professional. Its definitely worth the extra half mile for me to get here.

This store is fairly new and in great shape. The staff seems courteous and the store is always clean. Safeway always provides quality fresh foods and great value in their store brand. Safeway gas is also located at this address. Using Safeway rewards can save up to $1 per gallon.

Always stocked and easy to navigate. 3 Safeways nearby but Ill choose this one every time. They seem to have more of a selection with fewer out of stocks, friendly people and a fuel station. Parking is easy too.

Its a newer store thats 24/7 which is great for beer or late night snack runs. It has multiple self checkout lanes. I prefer this one over the one down the street that is a older store.

They were completely out of kielbasa, I went to the deli counter and waited for a few minutes to ask if they knew where to find the kielbasa. I finally asked someone else for help since the deli attendants were too busy to acknowledge me where I was told sorry its a popular item were out. Cool. Except they were also out of every mens scented Toms deodorant also. When checking out they had one lane with a long line of customers open and self service. I opted for self service. The stand I used needed to be errored out because the customer using it before me left without paying. After scanning my items and trying to pay the machine stalled. It seemed multiple patrons needed assistance and the team working that section were discussing another employee named Shannon. I waved my hand, I tried to gently holler Miss I need help, but eventually went over and asked for help. She rolled her eyes. I dont know if it was the situation or myself, but it bothered me. I am not a fan of this Safeway.

Parking lot is being repaved, inside is a chaotic mess. Best bet, come back in 2-3 weeks when construction is finished. If youre nimble of foot and fearless though, go for it. 😁

Got up so early this morning.Wanted to go to this particular Safeway because it was in the past very clean and organized.Now in this day of that pandemic we have to go because we are old at an early hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays a special time for seniors 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. for shopping.it was great hardly anyone there and lots of people stocking the shelves and lots of help available. There were items available to us that we could no longer get at other stores because they ran out.We were happy all the help and the shopping.Thank you Safeway.

They definitely need to do a better job social distancing its kind of a joke make sure to bring your masks and hand sanitizer cuz theres definitely no 6 feet separation policy when the lines are long including self checkout.

I shop here for most of the grocery needs. Good selection and nice courteous staff. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite Safeway store location in Bothell. Compared to other local grocery stores, Safeway’s, QFC, and Fred Meyer, they offer the best experience. They always have a clean and organized store. Their displays are in good order, stocked well, and include current labels. I can’t say the same for other grocery stores. They also have plenty of parking. Bonus Safeway gas station on site which makes the visit even more productive.

I was in the Bothell area and stopped in to pick up some things. Its a clean well organized store. Ive noticed that in other area Safeway stores selection has decreased on certain items, while prices have increased. Their meat and produce are good quality. Friendly workers.
