By far the best experience we have had with a moving company. From the first phone call to the final box landed in our new home, we enjoyed doing business with Lexel. The crew lead even called us in the morning to give an ETA on their arrival. Our furniture was handled with care and the guys were all very pleasant.

Lexel moving provided superior service in my last-minute move from Boston to NYC. Carlos and his team showed up on time and cleared my apartment within an hour, particularly impressive given the narrow staircase leading to my third-floor apartment. I was amazed. Carlos was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and all-around excellent from start to finish. I could not have asked for better — my expectations were exceeded by every measure. I am so grateful for the hard work of all members of the team.

Worst service I have ever experienced through 7 moves. They were supposed to start moving at 12 noon and its 6:45pm and I am still waiting for them to show up. No one picks up on their phone lines or returns voicemails. I really wonder how they cooked their previous reviews to be so positive. Seriously ridiculous! Please go with another service.

The price for 3 moving men is $200 an hour. My fiancé and I supposed that 3 men could get a 1 bedroom apartment moved, in a fair amount of time. 7 hours later they charge us $1500 which never in my life have I EVER paid that much money for a mover even when I had a 2 bedroom apartment in Los Angeles. There was 1 guy who was doing everything as the other 2 men sat around. They completely milked our time to an unbelievable extent. The boxes they gave us had candy in them, they COMPLETELY TORE our BRAND NEW mattress. There was a bloody band aid on the other box they had put our clothes in. The move was local, within 20 minutes. I can’t even believe this experience and how much money they charged & time they milked.

At first, the company seemed wonderful! The staff was kind, and I thought efficient. I had asked them to move EVERYTHING, and assumed they did. Until I went back to check it out the next day, and found I had 3 carloads left to remove myself.When I called, the staff wanted me to talk to the movers directly as they said they did it all.I guess if you want to stand there and direct the move, they are good. If not, dont do it.

This company just stole my brothers Furniture and threaten to throw the furniture on a random curb

Having known Ross Levener for the past 3 years (co-owner), I referred a good friend to him for a move. His crew arrived on time, packed and handled her items with care, and moved her without incident. She was thrilled, even though it was minor, within the same town. Ive noticed how careful he is even when getting up from a chair. he deliberately lifts it gently from the floor and places it a few feet to rise. Its symbolic to me of how he treats everything, people and furnishings!

Great experience! Lexel is very responsive to online request and phone calls. It was easy to setup free on-site estimate, and the estimate was pretty accurate. We hired 3-man crew with truck. They arrived exactly on time, and didnt waste any second. We were very impressed that they loaded everything in just a little over 3 hours. Nothing was missed or damaged. Final billing was accurate and easy too. They are so far the best moving company we have hired.

We used LEXEL Moving for our September move and were thrilled with the whole process. Their estimate was high due to the actual movers being so efficient and also very professional. Not a single item was broken during the move, and they were communicative any time any possible issue arose (like concern over box spring fitting, which they did manage to succeed at). They took care not to damage the Japanese maple right by our new driveway, and even pulled down a dead branch from where the previous owners movers did damage it. They found creative methods to safely stow some of the stuff we hadnt been sure how to pack. Just all in all they were great and Id highly recommend them to anyone else looking to move!

My boyfriends parents recently moved back to NYC from Boston and used these movers. They were super awesome and moved everything quickly. Rates were affordable. About a year ago my wife and I needed to move from our house by the end of the week. We had waited till the last minute to pack our boxes and just did not have the energy to move our belongings into the moving truck and into our new house. Lexel moving was there Friday afternoon and they were finished packing my new house by the end of the day Saturday. By Sunday I was living in my new home with my wife and daughter happily and comfortably. I would definitely recommend their services to friends

I had Lexel Moving and Storage move me into my new apartment on Saturday and it was pouring rain. Not to mention I live on the 3rd floor with stairs. They did a great job! Nothing was damaged! I have brand new hard wood floors and brand new carpet. They put down tons of floor protection and assembled everything. After checking out the reviews I have filled out a form on their website (self-explanatory, easy-to-use system). After 5!!! minutes I received a phone call from Nick to discuss the details and finalize the quote. The price was reasonable. Nick was helpful and accommodating.After comparing with 2 other local movers I have decided to book with Lexel Movers and paid my deposit of $100 on-line (they deduct the deposit from the total on the day of the move).On the actual day of the move 3 strong men showed up bright and early and started moving my stuff so quickly, I havent even noticed how my place was completely empty. Unloading was even quicker and the entire move took only 4 hours.I was really happy with my move and the experience with Lexel Movers was just amazing! Thank you guys so much!

Moving from Boston to New York; everything got delivered one day later, in the evening instead of morning, and with three hours delay because of traffic. Solid one star.

I moved with Lexel about 6 months ago, only getting to write this review now. I found the movers to be extremely unprofessional and that they delivered poor services. Most significant things of note:1. During the height of the pandemic, the movers did not even attempt to wear masks. I understand it is difficult to wear a mask during heavy labor, but the movers walked right into my apartment without a mask on;2. When the movers informed my they cleared out my entire apartment, I did a final check, and found at an immediate glance about 10 items (including packaged boxes) still remaining in the apartment - at that point the movers had already left and I had to carry those items in my car;3. The movers broke several of my items, totaling a value of more than 600 dollars. When I tried to get reimbursement, I was told that the items were reimbursed on a weight basis, meaning I would get back less than 10 dollars for the broken items.Overall the movers were very rough and careless with my furniture, leaving many scrapes and scratches on surfaces, in addition to the broken items.
