Hardly any pastries and a dull interior. Coffee is okay, but not a reason to go out of your way

If you’re looking for a rare coffee experience La Colombe is one of the best places to start. I highly recommend their rich blend cold brew. But even the darker hot blends are smooth and rich.It has a decent amount of seating for a small neighborhood cafe (Leather District across from South Station), which makes it a good place to work. But—at least the last time I was there—they didn’t provide Internet. Perhaps they’ve changed.The prices are a bit high ($3 for a small hot coffee), but its well worth the guilty pleasure. For coffee fans, it’s a must visit!

Coffee and pastries are very good.Things to improve:*Ambience: Music slightly loud if you want to do some work there. Staff went in and out of the coffee stand multiple times (which is fine) slapping the door very hard (this is not).*Temperature: You were not able to feel the difference between being outside or inside, it was so cold that I wasn’t able to remove my jacket.I really like their coffee and pastries, but, there are few things that they can improve at this location and make an overall outstanding experience like in most of the rest La Colombe Coffee shops.

Nice place but could use more seating inside. We drank a coffee berries tea that was amazing! They have extremely interesting tea choices. They have 2 faucets on the bar facing the customers where you could get your own water without asking for their help.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff! The black and tan is, as everyone else mentioned, amazing- an inventive way to serve iced coffee. Pastries are equally great, and I love the unique plates!

Great coffee - I got the pure black & tan, the nitro gives it such great creaminess, no bitterness whatsoever. I do feel like like the nitro also might hide some fruitier flavors of the coffee though. The draft latte was wicked tasty but I bet a full cup of it might be a bit too much to handle.4 stars only because the place is fairly loud - not the people, but theres a lot of banging of saucers going on and I think 2 or 3 items were shattered by staff while I was there which came as a bit of a surprise.The coffee is definitely top notch though - I think if youre a fan of blue bottle, this place has a similar feel

Best cup of coffee Ive had since returning from Australia. I missed my flat whites. Muffin was good. Everything is very expensive however

By sheer reputation I knew they served quality coffee being Im a certified Q Grader. And as suspected the coffee didnt disappoint. However I had to wait 10 minutes to get my coffee because between me ordering and getting my cup somebody missed my order after I paid. Something just seemed awkward with the system they were using to get orders done and to the customers. But I still give 5 stars because its the coffee that is the more important to me.

Very convenient location from south station. Had the peppermint cardamom herbal tea and it was amazing! Good selection of fresh baked goods as well.

They make really good coffee! When I’m in these are (downtown) I don’t mind to spend extra 5-7 minutes to walk there.Also, they have “draft” coffee. If you never try it you should. It’s absolutely different taste.Also, they make great chocolate croissant.P.S.: once I’ve met there Jake Gyllenhaal

Pastries are $3-4, coffee $4-6Great place for a quick coffee break with a friend, or for a silent work on your laptop. Huge windows make the place so cozy.Staff was nice an friendly.The huge advantage is also a location: right across the South Station.

We moved to Boston from Philly about 9 months ago and have been waiting for La Colombe to open their Boston location. Coffee is amazing! Pastries are amazing! Atmosphere is amazing! The single origin coffees are the way to go. The lattes are delicious. We love Todd and the crew and couldnt be happier to have the opportunity to not have to make our La Colombe at home again. Welcome to Boston!!!

Ive never seen a draft latte before, and they eagerly gave me a sample of it. Its foamy and cold and milky and smooth. So good. The fancier workshop espresso was somewhat sour, which is how I like it. Cool space and great location next to South Station.

La Colombe is my new must have every morning.They offer any style coffee you might crave: espresso drinks, drip, cold brew and a solid pour over are all served with precision.Fun twists to the morning with latte and cold brew on draft (or combine the two for a black + white).I was spceptical at first but they blew me away with the quality of their coffees.

The draft latte is the worlds most perfect beverage and there should be more La Colombes in this world than Starbucks.

Ive been here once, attracted by the promise of vegan desserts. This review is primarily of their Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake. The barista/cashier said that when he tried it, This cake was everything I had dreamed and hoped it to be.

Cozy cafe in the middle of busy downtown Boston. Great setup for a quick coffee fix, extended conversation, or work session. They dont have wifi but you can get it from a nearby network, just ask the very knowledgeable and friendly baristas. Espresso offerings are on-point and the non-dairy option is oat milk, which makes for a delicious alternative to thinner nut or soy options

Great variety of coffee and a nice atmosphere to grab a cup of coffee either to go our enjoy in the store. This is conveniently located near South Station making a great meeting spot.

Good quality coffee, with the interesting option of a draft latte, which can be combined with their nitro cold brew on tap for a black and tan--both of which are good, but not great. Overall atmosphere is a little cold and uncomfortable. Maybe trying too hard to be modern and cool, but without finding its own niche.

This is a gem. The cold brew is connected to the jaw bone. If your spouse complains that youre not talking to her go get one and youll turn into a good husband. Of course you are to give her one as well. 😊

Nice little place with a good selection of coffee and their own roasted beans. It’s a bit awkward to find since it’s tucked in a plaza of sorts. It has its own door though.

I am a huge fan of this company. they have made me so loyal that i expected better from their opening. I drove 28 miles once the listing appeared in google with hours on a recorded message only to find out that la colombe boston doesnt open until wednesday maybe. La colombe has set my expectations so high based on my 7 years of loyalty!
