This is the only place that I would recommend going to for your mens fragrance needs. I told the employee what cologne I currently have, and what kind of smells that I like and she was able to choose the perfect cologne for me. I love it and my woman loves it too. I must say I truly loved the experience. The young lady Mia Who assisted me was very helpful and patient with me. As an older woman are skin type changes she was very knowledgeable with the best products that would suit my skin color as a woman of color. I was very pleased with all the products that I purchased and I most definitely saw the difference. My makeup looks flawless.

Always have awesome products (not too cheap though) and have a really good rewards program. The last 3 years Ive spent $1000 or over which means Im a Rouge member and get special deals and free 2 day shipping plus points are worth more. For example at Ulta you have to spend $100 to even get $3 off. The employees at Sephora are really helpful and they will a certain amount of free professional makeup applications in store per year! (Well they did until covid turned the world into an absolute dumpster fire. But I highly recommend shopping there anyway!

Ive been to alot of sephoras in a few states and these ladies was so helpful. As soon as I walked in they greeted me asked if I needed help. There was 3 diff ladies all of them were so nice and helped me find everything i needed. Not once did they get an Attitude. Best sephora Ive ever been to. Me and my sisters came it to look for eye pallets and an employee showed us ones we described. She showed us how pigmented they are and was very kind and knowledgeable. (Visited 2019 May/June)A weird experience.I had always been shopping on-line for Sephora, It was my First time getting samples in store, so I did not know two different samples from different sections can be in the same plastic sample bag.After knowing I had received a bag from another section, this Asian assistant started saying things like wasting plastic bags and saving environment. I am not saying protecting environment is wrong or anything. It is just that the way she addressed it sounds like the customer was to be blamed at.

This is a fairly small Sephora considering it is in the Mall of America. Some product lines and choices are limited compared to Sephoras in other states and high traffic areas. Ive lived in Southern California and Atlanta, so I can as attest to this.Was greeted right away upon entering and was helped with what I was trying to find. Was told that the product is no longer carried in store, online only. Not so much the employees fault, rather Sephoras for not having a larger selection of items in high traffic stores.The store is also set up a bit weird, making it difficult to easily navigate through the aisles. Im a VIB and am very familiar with a large portion of their products but even for me the shopping experience at this store felt unnatural.The store felt dirty and some popular tester items were out and not replaced.Would not choose to come back to this store unless necessary, especially since the tax rate is higher at the Mall of America compared to other malls in the area.

The person standing at the door yesterday was beyond rude and then made a rude comment under their breath when I walked into the store. I did talk to the manager about this. When leaving I asked what the issue was and he started yelling at me and arguing. The sephora where I live has excellent customer service. This one was terrible before I even got into the store. To yell at a customer that way and argue is extremely unprofessional. I dont know why they would put such an argumentative and rude person at the door.

I recently did a full face makeover for my engagment photos and left feeling so glamorous and beautiful, I want to go back! True did my makeup and she did an AMAZING job. She spent extra time perfecting my look, asking my opinions, and walking me through products. She even took extra time at the end to show my mom new products and check us out to avoid the lines. She is an awesome artist, book her if you can! Plus the other employees are always super friendly and sweet!

Location Mall of America MSP make-up artist Essence. Personal, full of knowledge, patient and extremely helpful! Essence was exceptional if I had held interviews on who would be the best for my make-over it would have been her. She taught me some new make-up techniques that were perfect for my 50++age group. From base coverage to eyeliner I love all the products that Essence recommended!

Awful. After this last experience they’ve lost my loyalty. I’ve watched this location being very inconsiderate to costumers too really nice to them. After today however, they’ve proved they don’t care for their shoppers at all, I would like to say I’m going to continue shopping at their other locations but I don’t think this will be the case for a long while.They don’t care about who comes to this location or the experience they’re providing, go to a different location or different beauty supplier.

This is a pretty small but decent Sephora, they dont really have a complete product section but what I really like in here is the service, compared to ulta, The cashiers and the staff in here are helpful and patient. Im always eager to come back in here but I wish they would have more products. but other than that, its a good shop. Always drop by here whenever I get the chance, such great staff.

I would gladly give Sephora 5 stars if, this is a big if....if, the rewards bazaar would actually have the 750+point gifts AVAILABLE!! I am Rouge, I have been Rouge for years. I am on the website at least once a day. I can never get one of the nicer rewards. They are always sold out. I have started using other beauty sites. I would rather put my money in to companies that truly appreciate its customers. I still like and purchase from Sephora but I no longer spend thousands. I dont get any benefit from that. Ive started purchasing from YSL directly (they have a great reward system)! I would like to feel like Sephora appreciates its customers.

I am a vib rouge which tells you I shop there a lot. Because this is Minnesota, the product lines are truncated, with some lines not being represented, either because of price or because it is too flashy for Minnesota. I know trends are different in different parts of the u.s. It is frustrating that products that I want are not carried in store. The store is a bit smaller and can get really crowded with all of the people. There are not enough staff members to help all of the people that need help. Additionally, the lines are always extensive. Sometimes I dont buy things because I dont want to wait in that line. Sometimes I end up purchasing things online instead of in the store because its not carried in the store or because I cant get help with the product. Anytime I need help, there is no one to help me. These staff try to help while they are with other clients, but that means youre limited yes or no questions. I understand that the store is small in space so it gets very frustrating when there are a lot of people in the store. My biggest problem is that some of the staff are not friendly or welcoming and often they dont ask if I need any help. Of course there are a few very helpful people but it seems like those are few and far between. Im not sure if it is because I dont wear a lot of makeup during the day that they think I wont make a purchase. However I love makeup and wear it everyday just to be fun. It is an unpleasant experience when you have a question about a product or comparing two products and the staff cant help you. I also feel like they try to steer you to the most expensive products that they sell in store. While some Brands can justify the higher price, it would be great if they gave you a few different options for the different budgets. Not everyone can pay $100 for drunk elephant. However, they keep trying to steer everyone to that product without taking into account some people cant spend that much. I would recommend shopping online or trying a different Sephora because youre not going to get any help. On the few occasions Ive asked for help with some color matching, I asked them if I can go outside to see what it looks like in natural sunlight and they push you to get the product now saying that you can return it if you need to. They act like theyre not going to get a sale once you leave the store, which in some instances is correct. However, I need to see what it looks like because often products dont look like the color in-store that it does outside.

Felt like I was being ignored but when I asked for help I was given it (begrudgingly??). Idk. I can see where people were coming from when they say they felt ignored/judged here. It was low-key but idk. I mean I spent over $200 and didnt even feel the people working there cared I was in the store. I feel if youre in a store where its easy to spend so much money you should be treated with more kindness/attentiveness. First off, the amount of assistance you get from the employees is based off what you look like. Any time I have gone in here with full makeup on and dressed up better, the staff is all over, always checking on you and your greeted by several people at the door. But you go in there on a lazy day with yoga pants and sweatshirt on and no makeup. Careful, that won’t even make eye contact, even when you try to ask a question they give you a one word answer and try to move on so quick, you will receive eye rolls from the staff and feel un welcomed. The reason for the 2 stars is the supply and selection seems to always be well stocked. But this staff needs some serious training in discrimination. I’ve seen it against other people as well, and it’s a shame....

Sephora is clearly the best place to find all types of beauty products, but I was so impressed by the staff at this particular location! Makeup artists Joseph and Roxy gave my friend and I mini eye-makeovers, and they were SO helpful and incredibly kind/friendly. They have an imposing knowledge base regarding what makeup/colors look best for different skin tones and eye colors and were able to help me create a new, natural look to match my newly-colored red hair.Thank you again Roxy and Joseph!! I am a VIB member so you know I buy a lot from Sephora. However I dont get to this location often. When I do however, I am always greeted as soon as I enter the store and provided assistance when I need it. If Im just browsing, a sales associate will frequently ask if they can help me find anything. My most recent visit I had a full face makeover and the beauty advisor that helped me was very patient and thorough, discussing with me the look i was going for and then explaining every step of the way why she chose specific products and how best to apply them to make me look my best. Depending on traffic in the store, the checkout process can take a while but otherwise I highly recommend this store and the friendly and helpful associates.

I got a product, then I noticed how long the line were so I decided to sit down in those chairs with the mirror by the skincare. An old lady with glasses, (I am thinking she might be a manager)persists to ask me what I am doing. I explained to her my feet were tired and the line was too long for me to stand in. She would NOT leave me alone. She kept trying to tell me oh well get up the line isnt bad and she randomly asked me if I was paying with cash or credit to which I responded with cash(this made no sense to me because there wasnt like an extra register or anything for cash only). She nearly forced me to get up and go to the line, I felt for sure racially profiled by this old, caucasian lady. She kept trying to force me to leave my seat, which made me feel really unwanted and I honestly no longer wanted to buy products that I first intended to from this Sephora; I was going to put the products back since she clearly gave me an I dont want you in my store vibe, but I ultimately decided to do it anyways since I was buying it as a gift for my aunt.

No PokeStops or Gyms in Pokemon Go close enough for me to spin from the middle of the store while the wife was shopping. Sure standing at the entrance I could get a PokeStop, but instead of grabbing a basket or bag to shop, she had me be her shopping cart. So if there could be a more easily accessible PokeStop that would make it 4 out of 5. They didnt really have any comfortable sitting spots like Morphie did either.

Not very good customer service :/This is the Sephora I go to when I need to shop in store and I’ve been in the store both at crazy busy times, and pretty mellow times, like tonight. Every time I have such below average customer service.I went in an hour before close because I needed to be shade matched and exchange a foundation. Now I know how to shade match, but I thought it would be nice to have the help, especially with a foundation with lots of shades. I asked a nice employee to direct me to the Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation, she gladly pointed me over and asked if I needed to be shade matched, I said yes, and she said she’d send someone right over. She was so nice, but she was on a register so she couldn’t help me. I didn’t think it would take too long because there was very few customers and there were quite a few employees, many not seeming super busy. I was in the open, and clearly waiting.After 5 minutes I started just playing with the shades I thought I’d be, by 8 minutes no one was there to assist me. I ended up finding my shade, but they were out, so I still waited, in hopes someone would help grab it out of the back for me. After 10 minutes I went to get a sample of another foundation I had wanted to try. I asked for the shade sample and the woman begrudgingly helped me.I’ve been to many Sephora’s, some where the employees are beyond willing to help with anything a customer needs. This is not a Sephora that is like that. I think the employees need a reminder about remaining energetic and helpful from beginning to end of their shift. I would kill to work at a Sephora and highly disappointed in the customer service I received.

Used to love Sephora and this location. They used to have all sorts of fun items to try, and the staff werent just snooty security guards sitting around judging shoppers. I dont really wear makeup (gasp) but I LOVE nail polish, which has been slowly disappearing from Sephora stores. I also do love me some ridiculous skin care products! Today I stopped in for my bday gift and was hoping to find some fun new nail polish colors. Their one sad tiny nail polish display was half empty of the display bottles, and had only 2 bottles for purchase!! When I asked a lovely staff if there were any other hidden spots of polish, she flipped her hair, rolled her eyes as she gave me the once over, and valley-girl-ed at me, Umm like no but you can go somewhere else! Most of the staff are excellent and I enjoyed my experience there as a VIB Rouge member. However, what made me decide to turn to the recent opening Ulta was because of one employee, Sa*my. I worked with her twice for make up service. She was rude for the first time (even though I made around $200 purchase). I didn’t take it personally because I thought she might just had a bad day. The second time I said good morning with a cheerful voice (I work in retail industry and I always try to be upbeat). She even didn’t made an eye contact with me and just telling me to sit down on the chair. I’ll never shop with Sephora in that store again because I really don’t want to experience that any more.

I walked in knowing my skin and knowing what I wanted to take in samples so I could go home and see how my skin would react to the products.I started with a lovely woman who was really helpful even though several rude customers continued to interrupt her trying to figure out my skin type and color match. She passed me off to the Benefit woman. She sat me down and asked me all the questions. My skin is VERY dry and sensitive, it also hates powder, so please dont put powder on me. She used their new primer and then continued to put a VERY pale shade on my not that pale skin and then powdered my whole face. My face immediately began to flake and do what it does when you put powder on it. She then looked at me and said, Hmm lets see how we can fix this.They dont listen to you as a customer, I know my skin and what it does but yet she continued to apply things to my skin that I knew werent good. I then went to the Laura Mercier area and she wanted to find out my skin tone and she proceeded to take makeup remover to just three little circles on my face leaving me looking insane. She attempted to touch me up but I had three very distinct circles on my face and my makeup began to run due to the horrible foundation the Benefit woman had put on me.I left Sephora with my samples but I will NEVER go back to the MOA store. A mix of rude and poorly trained workers.

I never asked for price, i just asked if it was the same texture of clinics take the day off. I also noticed she followed my sister and cousins around the store.
