Good store, glad to be close to one. To be more specific, they have nice cards (birthday, anniversary, etc.).

My favorite Chinese restaurant. Only eat at this one. Love the people as well. Great place,great food,great people.

They just went thru a remodel and it looks great. Almost dont recognize it when you walk in.

The place never has anything in stock and it always looks like its going out of business. Its been that way for 5 or 6 years.

Pretty clean and well run for a dollar general. Love that they have a refrigerated section, saves having to go too far if I just need something small or just one thing that Id usually get at the grocery store. Good sales and coupons make shopping here actually a really good deal.

Its a decent place to shop for small things like soups and snacks. They carry thinks like socks and what not and I also get my detergent from here to. Not many people in the store when Ive been there either which is nice, especially during these times.

They almost always seem to have things sitting everywhere. They arent stocked very well, and they dont get things back in stock very fast at all. The employees are usually very nice though and really the reason I go back there.

The Dollar General on 45 in Greene County has given the area better choices for shopping. The location is so convenient and most employees are helpful and friendly. I wish they had a larger selection of frozen and refrigerated foods.

Terry, if she is still the wonderful manager of Bloomfield Dollar general. Gave my oldest Samson $5 while we were shopping after his surgery. My Grandma Judy worked there for years and years. Retail isnt fun, its not easy, especially if one is doing stock. Keep up the good work guys.

Im done with Dollar General. Some of the employees are nice, but theres such a small amount that is. Plus literally none of their digital coupons ever work. I use digital coupons at Kroger all the time with no issues, so Im pretty sure its not something Im doing wrong. Even if you bring it to their attention, they dont do anything to make it right. Ill drive the extra .5 miles to go to Kroger where they actually take care of their regular customers.

I shop all over the state and this is the dirtiest store of all by far!!! Isles so cluttered, you can hardly walk through. And dont even think about taking a cart. You guys need to step up your game.

Handy place to grab cheap essentials and some non ones.. Be it that the grochery next door is closed for good a second time that area options are primarily quick marts clustered with fast food joints.(Local Side tip)This area witch is the heart of Blopmingtons South side of town is densly populated with people who are homeless due to certain refuge areas and services. Use of drugs and even distribution of these drugs elevates significantly even thought south high school is center piece of side.

There is not enough staff to keep up with the store. Its incredibly unorganized and not well stocked. The staff are exhausted and have trouble caring because the management seems 2 lack help as well. Im under the impression they rotate people through the store frequently and nobody is there long enough to straighten it out.

This store was messy, crowded, and the selection was pathetic. Dollar General needs to quit being so greedy and start providing their managers with additional payroll hours so business can be conducted in a typical manner. I feel tremendously sorry for the 3 man crew having to deal with this ridiculousness. Needless to say, DG should be ashamed of themselves. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the sales associates were kind and helpful.

Dollar General is what it is.., its the most complete, and best-stocked of the dollar stores, and always has (REGARDLESS of their recent renovation) a feel of local, homegrown retail. Convenient, quick, inexpensive.

Still waiting on them to decide what spring and summer seasonal items will return to store like potting soil please.

A great dollar general store. Nice and helpful staff. Wide selection of items that are far cheaper than competition. Store is a bit dirty and dreary but honestly that seems to be all dollar general. The franchise has a bad color scheme but thats not the individual stores fault. This location attracts a lot of shady shoppers which makes for a cautious later at night shopping experience but ive never had a problem there.

This isnt exactly the best DG store. I recommend traveling to the Ellettsville location or the one on the southside. Most of my visits to this location....theyre out of what Im looking for.

I have went to this dollar general multiple times now and its a mess. Items all over the floor nothing is where it should be. It is very unorganized and just a nasty mess. Who ever is managing this store should really figure something out to fix this place up or get a new job.

Ive been to Dollar General locations in over 25 States and this is by far the worst Ive ever been to it feels like Im in Soviet Russia because the shelves are more than half bear and had been for over four months. Both name brand and Dollar General brand products are Baron from the Shelf. If you want what you would normally get at Dollar General you have to go to the store on the other side of town or go to one in a different town 15 to 20 miles away.I went to this store for the last time I will ever go to it yesterday. Apparently Dollar General does not care about this particular store on South Walnut Street in Bloomington Indiana

Quick and convenient but pricey and not for normal shopping. Nothing is a dollar really but the store is convenient.

This place constantly keeps going down hill. The store is usually a mess. The outside is nasty with garbage littering the sidewalk. The staff is usually new and disinterested. The lingering people that hang outside asking for cigarettes or change is bewildering and annoying after a while.
