Dave the head Mechanic and co owner I believe is absolutely amazing when it comes to cars I personally do not know Dave but he carries himself with a very professional manor and just moments of a conversation with him about your vehicle you can tell he is a genius about vehicles and has years of a experience it is hard to find a good honest mechanic that you can trust anymore that is fair with you on price and is being truthful with you. Dave is a outstanding person that refuses to do nothing but top notch service with extremely fair prices lower than most in town.

Extremely happy with R&R! I had just arrived in Bloomington after driving 130 miles to see my Granddaughter and her high school dance team perform at the state championship meet. As I arrived a nail punctured my tire. Without a spare (since my care only came with sealer and a pump) I filled the tire and drove to R&R.I received quick excellent service and they were very friendly and offered advice to be aware that the sealer in the tire may damage the pressure sensor in the tire and just keep an eye on it.Thank you gentlemen! It is very refreshing to do business with a service like you!

I have been taking my vintage Porsche to Dave for a couple years and he does a great job. He was recommended to me by the president of the local Porsche club and I can see why. Its not the easiest car to work on so finding such a great shop has been a blessing.

Used R&R due to a great referral from my father-in-law. Dave was so helpful and knowledgable about the repairs that needed done to my car, and our experience was nothing short of 5 stars. He was honest about prices and the work that was necessary, and even let us know what things might be coming up in the future with my vehicle. In fact, the future problem he found was an issue that I had taken my car in for to TWO other repair shops, and each time something other than the root problem was fixed. Glad to know its not a problem that needs fixed immediately, and when the time comes, I will definitely be taking it back to Dave!

Went in for a pre-purchase inspection for a car. Dave didnt end up charging me after warning me I shouldnt buy the car because of its faulty engine after examining the car for 15 minutes.

Ive got my car worked on there a lot but for some reason I was keep bringing my car back for the same reason. I bought a brand new starter for my car and basically took it there to get it installed. He insists to tell me the starter is no good. So I ended up getting another starter from the auto parts store he recommended. So I took the starter back to where I purchased it and they tested it and it was a perfectly good starter. So at this point this was the 2nd or 3rd time I brought my car to get looked at basically for the same situation. So he checked everything and I specifically asked him if I needed a new battery, he said the battery was fine. Make a long story short it was the battery and I found that out because I went to get it tested somewhere and thats what it was. So either he didnt know what he was doing or he was trying to get money out of me everytime I took it to him. So I dont go there anymore. By the way my car works perfectly after the new battery was installed.

Dave at R&R Tire and Auto is GREAT!! Fair, honest, helpful, knowledgeable, and overall friendly. Before when I walked in a repair shop I was nervous and defensive...not here. Always upfront about what the car really needs, he doesnt just throw parts at it trying to figure out what is wrong. He takes his time to do a thorough diagnosis and gets the job done right. Glad I found him!!
