I visited at 9am on a week day. The donuts (original glazed) were at least a day old maybe more- they tasted dry and stale and the icing was starting to sweat off. Also the coffee was really bitter. Should have driven the extra few miles to Heavenly Donuts.

It’s 7:30 in the morning there are no hot and fresh donuts . We ordered donut holes and somehow didn’t get those and had to order them again.we ordered Coffee asked for cream and sugar didn’t get it so we asked for it again we got cream and Splenda so we had to explain to the boy in the window that we needed the white packet that was Sugar .gave us that, but didn’t us anything to stir it with no napkins and really acted like it was a hassle to be taken care of us. The coffee was tapwater warm and possibly left over from yesterday and put it in the microwave not sure but tasted awful will not come back to this Krispy Kreme and definitely do not recommend anyone else drive to the one on the other side of town

Today was just like my last visit-terrible. Hot now sign was on and grab a dozen through the drive-thru and the cashier assured me they were fresh. I noticed down the road they were cold and old! This is the worse location I’ve ever been too. Also, they did an event for me a couple of years ago and all of those were old as well.

I waited in the drive through for 10 minutes then had to leave. I didnt even get to order. To be fair, they like everyone else are probably short staffed. I will definitely go back another time.

It’s no wonder a Dunk-in Donuts is moving in down the street. Krispy Kreme typically has better donuts but compared to this location any donut is better. I have yet to experience a time where they have donuts that are on the menu. They are always out of donuts. Today they only offered original glazed donuts. It’s a Saturday!!!!! It was a waste of time for me to drive there. This has happened on three of three times that I have been there. It won’t be long before this place closes down because people like myself will find other places to go and support and will talk about their experience to friends. I hate this will happen because I would like for places to thrive where I live but at the same time what is the point of a donut shot that doesn’t have the donuts they advertise.

Only had original glazed. Slow service. Employee at the window was not particularly friendly and hardly spoke. Donuts were good though.

11:30 on a Tuesday and I waited at the drive through for 10 mins and then had to leave, every time I’m come here the staff has been rude and short tempered. I work at a short staffed fast food joint, it’s not that hard to throw on a fake smile and have a cheery attitude.

Said to pull to window to order. Sat for 30 min with 4 other cars and no one would come to the window or answer the phone when called and people were seen inside.

As previous people have said—they NEVER have the full menu. I made an online order then came at the pick up time and was told they were out of donuts. When we said we had an online order they magically had donuts again. Not only did they have the 6 I ordered, but they gave me 6 more for free. They also claimed they didn’t have any coffee. This was at 7:00, and they close at 10:00. I am assuming they just wanted to close early since they clearly were not out of donuts.

The sign said hot and fresh when I got in there they didnt have hot and fresh but when they do it is delicious

By far the worst Krispy Kreme I’ve been to. I received cold brick donuts during the HOT sign being on! And was told to wait 5 min for more. That 5 turned into 15min which I then asked for refund . The gentlemen tried to hand me back the same boxes of cold donuts!!!! Lost a customer smh shouldn’t be that hard

Drive thru only, wrapped around the building at 0900 on a Wednesday. Cannot go inside, no pride in the sign saying closed inside... drive thru board not even working, no sign on the board, employees lean out the window to tell you to proceed to window to order...ordering here is also a health hazard, the one guy working has open wounds on left arm, right hand is only gloved hand. Which has a gauze wrapping around his right hand with blood soaking thru the gauze as the only person cooking and working the register, he doesnt swap gloves or wear any, theres times when shutting down is the best thing to do, why risk others health...as an EMT places like this one with the wound on the wrist and blood soaking thru are places I dont typically go back to ever

Yall dont neva have the dang full menu no matter what time we get up there, and lately not even the chocolate glazed doughnuts. But THIS time.. TUH. We were so excited about the Halloween assortment and you didnt even TRY. These things look so pitiful I for real laughed so hard I cried.

If you order from the Uber eats app an assorted dozen. Be prepared to get HALF JELLY FILLED AND HALF PLAIN GLAZED DONUTS. The people that work there don’t know the meaning of assorted apparently..

They only had strawberry with sprinkles available when looking for doughnut holes. I decided to try one and it was very good. I would buy it again because I would not have ever chosen it.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this location. It’s a rarity that I ever rate or give less than 4 stars for any place on Google. Unfortunately, I’ve been to this location on 3 different occasions at different times of the day. Each visit has been disappointing with their variety options being limited to 3 maybe 4 donuts to choose from. I can see that this location mostly has younger individuals working so expecting the services to be above average isn’t a possibility, but at least providing the products that are being advertised, should not be a challenge. I’ve been to many Krispy Kreme locations back in California, Nevada, and in Alabama. If the location in Hoover had not burnt down, I wouldn’t be feeling the need to address this issue. However, it is really unacceptable to have this establishment being ran down by young adults who are being paid to do the job they applied for that it not being met. Hopefully, it does improve sooner than later, so that the next time I do visit for my family, I’ll be able to change my rating because in the end, Krispy Kreme’s is an amazing donut spot!

The donuts are good and the staff is usually nice. One huge drawback to this location is that they are ALWAYS out of specialty donuts. Sometimes there is a wait, especially around certain promotions.

This location has really gone downhill. Never have the donut selection I want. I waited at the counter for 10 minutes before anyone came to take my order. No excuses. Employees don’t seem to want to work here. I’ll be going to another location.

I went here to Krispy Kreme with my parents and I was really excited on because I haven’t been since I was little. We drove all the way to Georgia to get to this location. Got here and was very disappointed. The floors are slick from the rain and they don’t even have the decency to dry the floors. My dad almost slipped and fell. When we got ready to ordered they were out of half of doughnuts that the website said they had. Worst part is I told the lady that I wanted a mini strawberry sprinkled doughnut and a mini chocolate sprinkled doughnut. I said it to her 3 times and she still got it wrong. For a 16 year old food critic I’m very disappointed. And I won’t be coming back to this location.

Took forever for them to take the person in front of uss order, only had original glazed when we got to order, and took them so long to get the person in front of uss doughnuts that we pulled away. Aint no reason some doughnuts should take as long as it did.

Coffee was not hot, but burned, not fresh. Tasted like it had been on the warmer all day, then there wasnt enough, so they added tap water, & served. Way overpriced, too. 😖

The doughnuts are never hot or fresh here anymore no matter how early we go): lobby needs to be opened because the employees arent very good at listening in the drive thru. We drove an hour, waited in drive thru line for 20 minutes for smashed, cold donuts that were missing glaze... I said the last time would be the last time but I am also a forgiving and understanding idiot but no more for this location.

I have tried going to this Krispy Kreme location twice in the past month as it is the closest one to my house and my daughter loves their doughnuts. I have a location close to my work but I often get off too late to be able to bring her some. Each time I have gone to the 280 location they have told me their “machine is down” or their “system is down.” When they told me their system was down I offered to pay them the exact amount in cash since they had dozens of doughnuts out. They refused. My most recent trip was through their drive thru and after waiting behind five cars they told me that their machine wasn’t working and they wouldn’t be selling anymore doughnuts for about 45 minutes. As I was being told this I could hear the other employees laughing in the background. Apparently the car in front of me bought their last doughnut. I would love to write a review for this location that was about anything other than not being able to buy anything, but I have yet to be successful in making a purchase. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the 280 location since the fifteen minute drive I make is just for sight seeing.

They don’t ever have anything other than original glazed and the doughnuts are always ice cold. I have come 3 separate occasions and they always say all they have is original glazed.

Showed up at 8pm. Drive through told us there were *five* doughnuts left. I pulled around to clarify, because I found that hard to believe 2 hours prior to closing, and she said that those were the last doughnuts that were made a while ago and we decided to not start the machine up to make more.Shipleys from now on.

Well this has completely ruined my day. At first the hot light was on but I didn’t get fresh donuts. Secondly, I start working and break my donut apart to find hair that was baked into my donut. I won’t be going back here.

Good donuts like what you would expect from a Krispy Kreme, however the customer service is awful. I have heard from many people that the customer service is abysmal at this location, and even going with that expectation I was still surprised at how slow they were here.

I can say that I have never gotten a Bad doughnut from Krispy Kreme..... until today from the Highway 280 location. I bought 2 dozen. A combination of glazed, chocolate covered cream filled, and chocolate covered custard filled. They were disgusting. The oil that they fried them in was old and burnt up. Needless to say, I will be calling and getting a refund or a replacement from another location.

Krispy Kreme has great donuts!That said, this is a poor location.I’ve been here twice. Both times my hot coffee was lukewarm. Also, they messed up our order. Ordered a specific coffee drink and they didn’t get it right. Lastly, service is real slow. We were the 4th car in line and waited about 15 min.I will return because I love their donuts, but I am not impressed with this location.

Extremely disappointed in this location. We have been here multiple times and every-time, at various times of the day, they have been “sold out” of the majority of the donuts. There is never even an updated sign posted of what is currently available and the staff is EXTREMELY rude when you try to place an order. Maybe make more donuts? This has been a consistent issue for months now. I would say we’ve been 5-6 times in the past 2 months and it’s worse every visit. Don’t waste your time trying to get donuts from this place.

We had an excellent experience at this Krispy Kreme. I myself am a manager in retail, but customer service was exceptional from Marquise and company. We were treated like family from the staff and they even knew how to spark some fun with every customer. This experience was completed by great tasting, hot and ready doughnuts. I would be willing to drive further to our third-closest location to come again. Krispy Kreme should do everything possible to retain Marquise and he is very deserving of a raise.

Waited in line for over 25 minutes, with 5 cars ahead of me. Finally ordered, get to the window, only to be told theyre out of lemon and raspberry filling. It seems this location is poorly managed and badly understaffed, which is becoming the trend everywhere on 280.

Ordered online 2 dozen for $12 and a Reeses doughnut. Waited 15 minutes and got my two dozen but they forgot my Reeses. At least the dozen was fresh.

Drove and hour and a half for them to tell us there system is down and has been for 3 hours. Employees standing around playing on their phones doing nothing.

This location is always ridiculously slow and never has standards like strawberry and chocolate iced. Today we showed up and with no explanation, they told us we could not order inside and we had to go through the drive thru, even though the front door was unlocked & we could still sit and eat…. Makes no sense.

This location never has a good variety... they are always out of most doughnuts. They need a menu that lights up to tell you which ones they have. Very disappointed that the last 5 or 6 trips Ive made there, they have only had 4 different flavors at the most.

I just want to say for the record that krispy kreme is my all time favorite, I consider the doughnuts a delicacy as being a frequent patron to this establishment. Unfortunately this time I had a not so pleasant experience. As always I visit here during the mid hours of the day on my way home from work, except this time I ended up going later on in the night which is a rare occurrence for me. As per usual I order 2 dozen of the original glaze and Im forever satisfied. Unfortunately this wasnt one of those times, I ended up getting the 2 dozen doughnuts and as always i cant help but eat two or three before I get home. Well on the way home I take a bite and noticed that it wasnt hot and fresh like others Ive eaten before, this time it was rather cold and somewhat stale tasting so I bit into another and it was the same. Almost the entire box was like that, so I decided to call Krispy Kreme and for the life of me I couldnt get anyone to answer. I will not let this one bad experience deter me from visiting again. Always remember to check your stuff before you leave!

Went for a senior dozen because it’s was from May 10 to may 16 Bc that’s what the website said and the lady there said it was for only one day and I asked for a Reese’s donut for my sister and they didn’t give it to me but they charged it to my account!!!!

CALL BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!The machine is ALWAYS broke so we called before we left the house. Of course again,It was broke. My husband asked why and the girl said “you’re talking to the wrong person” It was laughable honestly.

Well I was disappointed that there were no maple doughnuts. The service was not friendly.

I would like to give this location zero stars because we havent actually received any food or drinks to rate on the last several attempts to shop here. We were so excited when this location opened and it was so good at first. The last several times I or my husband have stopped here, they are either out of doughnuts (multiple flavors we have attempted to purchase including just plain glazed) or have said they are temporarily closed. Im not even sure what would cause them to be temporarily closed during rush hour on a weekday morning. On the last 6 attempts to purchase here, weve gotten doughnuts once. Clearly there are significant problems with the owners and/or managers.

Google says they are open but they were not open tonight. Came by before 8pm on a Saturday.

Waited over 20 minutes for a small coffee and a dozen donuts. Was told to pull to the front and wait. Never brought it out to us. Had to go inside to get it. Drive through kept going fast while we waited for the 2 things we ordered 20 minutes ago.

I frequent Krispy Kreme for incredible donuts with good customer service, and this is not at all what I received this morning. My order was simple - a dozen glazed, half a dozen Kreme filled, and a medium latte. First disappointment - no Kreme filled donuts. Only chocolate filled and no eta on any Kreme filled. Second disappointment - our latte machine is down, but I could get a flavored coffee. By this time I was tempted to leave, but lets try a glazed coffee. No apologies for the inconveniences, the rather surly worker seemed as if I should expect to not enjoy my visit there. Third disappointment - the coffee was barely room temperature. This was a Sunday morning in a pretty busy location... No reason for the poor planning. The problems dont seem indicative of the product, but of management and labor. I dont think anyone from my family will be returning any time soon.

Staff always helpful and usually have what I need.

Just drove 20 mins because my mom wanted some donuts website said they were open till 11 and well I got there at 10 and it was closed so basically spent a hour driving. Next time maybe I’ll just do daylight instead .
