You all know Ace is the place for friendly hardware folks, but there is a star at this location Jill is quite possibly the most helpful person you will ever meet. If she doesnt know the answer she will find you the correct information. She know her store well and can find anything in it. Always offers a kind word and a smile. You can only return items at the same store, because they are individually owned. But thats not what they say on their receipts! They want to give you a gift card and not give you your cash back, because its a different store! Store policy

Love this store! Although I have to say, every Ace Ive ever been to, has had the friendliest employees, always there to help with anything you need. This location is no different. Very friendly, clean store, great deals!

I always enjoy coming here. I cant remember the guys name in plumbing, but I brought a foot valve in and instead of trying to immediately sell me a new one, he showed me how to repair it. Unfortunately I broke it and still had to buy one, but I expected to anyways, so no loss. To me the friendly service and actual helpful people always makes the trip worth it. I know I might find a better deal at other box hardware stores, but the help and service I get at the Ace Hardware is worth it. Besides, it take me only 10 minutes to grab a part from here verses an hour travel time to go across town to the big box stores.

We are renovating and we love this Ace. The employees are always so friendly and helpful. If they dont know the answer, theyll find someone who does and stick around to learn. Fair pricing. Love supporting local. They have a great rewards program that gives you extra savings! Highly recommended!

We bought a Traeger grill today at Ace Hardware in Billings Heights. What a great experience! They not only delivered it to our house for free, but they set it up for us and gave us lots of helpful information on how to use it! Very knowledgeable, helpful, and personable! I cannot say enough good things about Ace Hardware in the Heights. I moved to Billings seven years ago, since then I’ve gotten many tools from them. When I have trouble with the weedeater they will re-thread it for me if necessary. When I had trouble with my leaf blower I brought it in and they help me get it going. I purchased a Traeger grill from them, they delivered it to my house and set it up for me. I didn’t have a truckI couldn’t bought it any other way. I can call anytime and ask for help. They’ve advised me on drip lines and how to put them together and everything that I need. If you need help they will help. You never have to wait more than three or four minutes for customer service. Not only do you find an associate easily but they are also knowledgeable. If one does not quite have the expertise there’s always someone there who does. There’s always an associate walking around that you can ask for help. They are truly community oriented. I don’t know what I do without them. I can’t find customer service like that anywhere else. And they’re always like that. When I was in Casper Wyoming they were always helpful at that the Ace Hardware Store there as well. I shop there for their knowledge and customer service. You will not find customer service like that and he place else in town.

Big shout out to the guys in the repair shop!! I needed both cables for my Craftsman lawn mower - I was told at two other shops that the parts were obsolete and/or would take weeks to get them in if they could still find them. Your guy had them in stock and I was able to pick them up after work the same day I called. They both were an exact perfect fit and less $ than it would have been ordering them on-line!Had the mower running like new a half-hour after I got home! Thank you!

Amazing service and really easy to find customer service to help you find something

Been there twice this week and each experience was great! Needed help in the paint dept. And the gentleman helped get everything we needed for our project along with very helpful advice. The cashier was friendly and packaged our things the way we wanted and we left the store happy with our service we received.

I came in to exchange some broken tools. The Lady up front was nice. She called for someone to help me. I went to the tool section. I stood there waiting. And waiting no one came to help. So I went threw the tools until I found what I needed. Went back up front the lady asked if anybody came to help. I told her NO. She helped with the exchange.

This Ace has the most helpful group of people. Went with my grand daughter to get some supplies for camping and a new hose for a propane tank. With help we found every thing we needed. I was wanting a hose for my camper, and knew it would be way cheaper elsewhere but l bought it here. Thanks to the staff of Ace. I am visiting my family here and find this Ace Hardware would be my go to place!

I have been here several times this month, and the most common answer to my questions about stock or products was I dont know. I appreciate the honesty over a guess, but come on. Learn about your products and inventory, team members.

I collect gnomes...i had bought one the other day and wanted to go back and get the other one that matched. They had ONE. I was excited about it then i picked it up and it was broke a little dime size hole in it. I asked a person if.i could buy it cuz its the last one but i dont want to pay full price. It was $7.99. He called manager and manager took .50 cents off. Wth! If they would have found this they would have put it in a clearance bin for 50% off. I bought it cuz i wanted it. But come on! U treated me like i was the one who broke it.

Everybody that I have dealt with in this joint had been very nice and helpful. If they dont have what you need they kindly suggest where you might find your goods. Its just a friendly store and the kids love to grab some popcorn and a little water!

Went in to get cynder blocks, took me a little bit to find them. The store isnt mapped out very well. And the door to the blocks specifically stated not to open emergency only. However an employee told me to go through the said door. Found what I was looking for after 25 minutes. Just a thought if you guys are allowing people to wall through emergencie doors. You guys might want to specify when they are allowed to. Having a sign that says do not open. Emergency only was extremely confusing. Specially sense Im not originally from billings.

Every time I go in to the Ace Hardware in the Heights, I get such great customer service from everyone and tonight was no different! I called numerous parts store looking for a 37/64” drill bit.... Ace in the Heights said they didn’t have one either, so I decided to give up for the night and head home. A few minutes later, I get a call from a # I didn’t know & it was Dan at Ace Hardware telling me they did actually have one there... AND he even stayed late so I could turn back around and head that way to get it tonight still!Thank You Dan and the rest of the staff at Height’s Ace Hardware! You guys made a few people very happy tonight!!

One of the vehicles in my driveway was broken in to while I was at work, and among other things my house keys were taken. I took all of my exterior doorknobs (deadbolt, keyless entry, and garage exterior) in to ACE late after work and they turned them around quickly for a more than reasonable price. I had knew keys and new locks within half an hour, and the staff was extremely helpful throughout the whole process.

There are some good folks here. Especially in the paint department. The repair shop for small engine tools is also great.

Our Heights ACE is the best! We have never gone in where someone could not help us. The staff is willing to answer the most basic questions and are willing to give demonstrations when needed. They even taught me to weld my frozen pipes so I dont have to call a plumber for this basic repair!
