I’ve been going to Dr, Kevin McBride for many years now and he is wonderful at his job. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. They handle insurance and billing seamlessly. I highly recommend them. I want to give a special shout out to the optical department too. They always help me pick out my glasses in record time and I always love the ones we’ve picked!

My appointment on Monday was great! They were super busy and still made the effort to acknowledge everyone and help everyone out as quickly as possible. I was stuck between two different frames and both ladies we so helpful when I asked for their opinions on the best one for my face! Doctor Lebsock and the lady that did the prep work(sorry didn’t catch her name!) were super polite and professional and were happy to answer any questions I had! Thank you for such a wonderful experience all around!

Extremely professional and helpful. Ive used them to get contacts but also had an emergency with a metal shaving in my eye and was seen and treated quickly. My check up on the procedure fell on a holiday and Dr. Lebsocks day off but he still came in to make that appt to see how my eye was doing. Thank you guys for caring for your patients!

I feel like Dr. Kevin takes my eye health serious and always listens to what I have to say which is very valuable to me especially having fibromyalgia. Im thankful to have found this clinic several years ago.

It has been a few years since I’ve had an eye exam and has been several since I have let anyone check for my eye pressure by touching my eyes with the machine. My experience at McBride Optometrists was excellent from the moment I walked in the door. The staff immediately acknowledged me, which is hard to find most places. The vibe of the office was wonderful I was very impressed with the appearance of their office. The eye tech that did the initial screening was extremely patient with me because I get really bad anxiety at eye appointments. I told her that I was not interested in the machine that touches my eye and she told me it wasn’t a machine and talked me through the process and I ended up doing it, wow she was good I didn’t even know she did anything. Dr. Lebsock was very kind and thorough, he gave me options and didn’t rush me out of there. I have now found the place I will go for the rest of my life, no matter how far I have to travel to get there.Thank you! - The guy with the eye phobia and can’t even put in eye drops.

The technician was wonderful she explained every test and what it was for. It was great to have the option of not having my eyes dilated while still feeling I had a thorough exam. Dr. Kevin explained everything - especially the photo of my eyes.Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, courteous, and very comfortable.Im very comfortable recommending!Current visit Jan 2017. still the same wonderful staff & great experience.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Doug who was nothing more than worried about how much he could bill my husband and I. We had not been to McBride and McBride for ten years because of the horrible experience we had back then. This time it was worse. Dr. Doug exploded when I asked him if we could get our prescriptions and go elsewhere for our glasses. He ranted and raved about all the discounts we could receive if we got our glasses with him. He put down the Eye Mart, where I had gone to get glasses because THAT is where our insurance required us to go. He snorted over the fact that we had chosen to go to a different optometrist because my husbands mother had said good things about that optometrist. The final bill for a pair of safety glasses, and regular glasses for my husband and a pair of glasses and new contacts for me was well over $700. We paid roughly half and I was instructed to come back in a week to check on the new contacts he sent me home with. The checkup showed they were too strong and he claimed that was because he didnt know what the prescription had been. He doesnt know what prescription a NEW customer would have, so why did he screw my prescription so badly except for the fact that he was so mad he couldnt think straight. Then he proudly handed me a $130 rebate coupon for the SECOND set of contacts, then charged me another $170 for the new prescription because he didnt get it right the first time. Then when I tried to ask at the front desk when the glasses and contacts would be ready so I could plan to pay for everything then I was informed that EVERYTHING would be held at their offices until full payment was made,. So dont go to these high strung money grubbers unless you have a cool $1,000 in your pocket to hand over IMMEDIATELY or they will treat you like a thief.

I would recommend this practice to anyone. I am partial to Dr. Joe because that is who Ive seen since Ive been going to them and he is very thorough. My co-worker also goes here and she sees a different doctor and doesnt have any complaints - I actually went to them based on her recommendation.I dont feel like a number and never feel like Im being rushed out the door. All the staff is fantastic and they are a great reason I keep going back.

I sat in the waiting room for 50 minutes on a Tuesday while people after me went in and got done. I finally told them I had to reschedule because I had to get back to work. Terrible experience. My boyfriend also went there and the cheap contacts they give you scratched his eyes terribly. So he paid 250 dollars to have contacts he cant wear. Ive also heard this about their contacts from another person. I personally wouldnt know because I never got to actually go into my appointment to receive contacts. Ha. Highly recommend to NOT go.

I dont have a lot of experience with eye appointments; having previously only been to one. However, in general, I was impressed with how quickly I was processed through, how warmly I was treated, and the level of precision shown by the doctors and staff at McBride and McBride. I anticipated a long wait, and even coldly professional services. Instead, I was treated as if I were an old friend and promptly moved from one station to the next, without feeling rushed. As a result, I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for good eye doctors in the Billings, MT area.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Everyone is very friendly and professional. The ladies in the front answered all of my insurance questions and were easy to work with. Dr. Joe Steiner and his team were very professional but friendly and helpful. Dr. Joe makes sure you are in the right contacts and prescription as well as making you feel like you have different options. The entire staff is great!

I have been visiting the McBride office since the early 1980s when a close friend recommended them. I (and my family members) have always received excellent care and service from both Dr.s McBride and we dont have anything but positive comments to make about the wonderful eye glass technicians and fabulous office staff. Both doctors have always taken the time for thorough explanations and relate well to all ages of patients-- from when my sons were young boys to my aged grandmother before she passed.

My family has been going to Dr.s McBride & McBride for a number of years and would strongly recommend them to anyone in need of eye care. They have always been thorough, professional, friendly, and all the things that make an already good business a great business. I have had occasion to bump into Dr. McBride outside of his business and he always takes the time to chat. I would consider them friends.

They know me and are always so friendly. Dr. Joe has really honed in on what I like and has tailored his approach accordingly. Dr. Tim also nailed down the best lenses for me and wont let them slip out of my file info. Yay! Kudos to my friends at Dr.s McBride & Steiner!!

The blond hair girl didnt do the blood pressure right she didnt say feet flat on the floor and didnt give few minutes to rest and I got a high reading. Thats because you need to let the patient rest about 3 mins or more in the room that we get in. Then retake the blood pressure test again to see if reading is different or still the same. One reading isnt always accurate.

I have been getting my glasses here since 1993. Always have have great service and good selection of frames. The anti-glare coating is a must on the lenses. Their glass cleaning fluid and microfiber towl are the the best cleaners I have ever used.

I have been a patient of Dr. Doug for years and have always been impressed by his care. My kids see Dr. Joe Steiner and he is wonderful also. My son has had some issues this year and Dr. Joe has been so great to work with. He explains things to us very clearly, I never feel rushed and he is very personal with my kids. My son loves sports and Dr. Joe always talks sports with him at every appointment.

I have always been treated with the best of care BUT last Monday they took it to a new level! I was staying in Butte Montana when I found that I had left my specialized saline solution at home. There are no substitutes for what I use and nowhere in Butte carried what I needed. So I contacted McBrides & Steiners about my dilemma. Not only were they extremely compassionate but quickly went the extra mile, over-nighting the necessary solution. They only charged me for the shipping and when I opened the package the next day, not just 1 but 2 bottles were sent! This is a great place with doctors who are not only VERY knowledgeable and good at what they do ... BUT they care! THANK YOU all! Your compassion and eagerness to help were HUGE blessings!

When I called into the office my eye was really hurting because my dog had scratched it earlier that morning. I told them what had happened and they got me right in. Everyone was very friendly, and for being a work-in I didnt have to wait very long at all. Dr. Joe looked at my eye very closely, told me exactly what was going on, and put in those heavenly numbing drops. I am very happy with the way I was treated at Dr. McBrides, and my eye is starting to feel better. Dr. Joe is excellent and so is the staff.

I got glasses 2 years ago. I had the frames & my total was $680.00! My glasses have so mant many scratches & i have never used anything to clean them but the cloth they gave me. Total waste of money.
