Excellent sales and installation. The only recommendation I would have is when I picked out the pad for the carpet. I upgraded to a better quality pad, but I wish I would’ve gone with a heavier pad. I was looking for a new carpet that I needed for my living room, right away and decided to check out the inventory at the Carpet Barn. Shortly after I entered the store, I was approached by Mark Campbell and he was very friendly and helpful. With Marks help, it didnt take very long for me to find exactly what I was looking for, at an awesome sale price! I am now planning on reflooring my entire house with Marks help. Carpet Barn has an excellent selection of all types of flooring and I found a beautiful luxury vinyl tile that I am looking forward to using in my home!

I had a great experience working with the sales employee, Mark. The carpet guys installed great except for the fact they covered 2 air vents that were in the floors. 1 in the living room and the only one that was in my daughters room. Which she could receive any air conditioning in 100 degree weather. I had to have my uncle come out and cut holes in the carpet where the floor vents were. Not sure why they were covered.

He did so well at helping pick things that would match the colors we wanted in carpet and flooring! Mark came to our home 1 hour out of Billings, was super friendly and measured out exactly what we needed. He brought some samples of carpet and was very knowledgeable of carpeting and made sure that we got the right carpet for our living conditions. We have very large dogs, grandkids and dirt. This place is a joke. I am severely dissatisfied with my experience. I had gone in and ordered flooring for the entirety of my home. When the installers came they said it would be a one day job. I had my reservation about this, but I’m not a professional. At the end of the day they informed me that they didn’t finish and they would need a couple more days. When I returned home they hadn’t even finished 1 room. Multiple days passed by and I realized it wasn’t the exact carpet I had ordered but that wasn’t concerning at all. Finally, after about a week and a half, the installers finished everything but one room. This room remained unfinished for a month. I made numerous calls to remind them I had a deadline for this project to be finished as I had new tenants moving in. The man I was dealing with, Greg Jensen, had absolutely terrible communication with me throughout everything. Regardless of how many times I tried to schedule a finishing time the room still remained unfinished. I have now had to pick up the remaining materials to finish the flooring and have to finish everything because this company clearly can’t figure out how to properly schedule their projects. I would highly suggest you avoid this company if you want things done right assuming things get done at all. I will not return.

Mark was very helpful, but not pushy. They allowed me to take samples home - came and measured - I will definitely use them when I order my carpeting

Person came out and measured right away when called, but I had to make a phone call a couple weeks later to find out where my estimate was. Store was extremely busy because of hail storm. Went into store to view products. Asked for different quotes on different products for insurance purposes and that took a few more days. Accepted the quote on a flooring and was scheduled. Was called day before install for confirmation. When no one showed up on installation day I called the store and was assured they were on their way. A couple of hours later I was called and told there was a scheduling mistake and theyd have to reschedule (I took the day off work to be there). I lucked out and was rescheduled for a few days later because of a cancellation. Day of new install date I was called and told a transition piece was not on the order but the store would try to find one or order one and put in later at their cost. I was also told they forgot to include the cost for removing/reinstalling baseboards and they would split that cost 50-50 with me (I had already paid for the flooring/install when ordered). I said we could discuss it, but didnt see why their mistake was our problem. Installers arrived and were wonderful (which is the only reason this averaged out to a 3 star rating). The lead installer said there would be no charge for the baseboards and they went over and above by putting on closet doors that were off before they came (if they dont take off, they dont put back on). They worked efficiently, even when the power went out for over a hour, and got the job done. 5 stars for the installers!
