I love this place! These people have always been so kind, honest and fair. I had several things that needed to be addressed on my vehicle. When I told them I couldnt afford it all at once, the mechanic made a list for me by priority and also estimates for each job. They also put my car up on the lift because they wanted to make sure to show and explain to me each thing that needed done and why. What an exceptional team!

I had an oil change done here recently. The work was efficient and the prices were fair, but they “recommended” oil changes every 3000 miles. This isn’t the 1970’s. New cars are designed to go far longer on an oil change, especially with full synthetic oil. Read your maintenance manual before going here. If someone tells you that you should change your oil more often than the manufacturer’s recommended interval, they’re trying to rip you off.

Helen made my day! I called Friday to ask if se could get my car looked at since I was in town helping family. I live two hours away. She scheduled me for 10 on Saturday morning. She was able to get the problem diagnosed and found the part in town. I got my car fixed on short notice, saving me another trip and time. It was a big relief.

Ive had my 2009 Lincoln MKS serviced here since I purchased it used from a (non-Lincoln) dealer seven years ago. Jay, Helen, Tom, the courtesy drivers, office personnel, parts staff, etc. all make the day seem much brighter no matter what kind of mood youre in when you arrive. I highly recommend this service department if you have a Lincoln (or any other vehicle.) They will take excellent care of you!

I was searching for a larger vehicle to better accomodate my family and growing kids. We searched for a used SUV with third row seating for some time locally at other dealerships and while the internet pictures looked good, we would arrive to find vehicles that had been abused and were over priced. I spotted an SUV on Bob Smith Motors website that peaked my interest and the pictures looked accurate and the vehicle looked well cared for by the previous owner. While out running errands without my family I decided to stop in and look at it. I was impressed with the condition of the vehicle and was approached by a sales representative, Jake Tooker. He was very accommodating and professional and not pushy in the least bit. He suggested I take the vehicle home to show my wife which I did. We decided the vehicle would be a good fit for us so my wife and kids went back with me to Bob Smith Motors to talk further with Jake. He did everything and more to make sure we got the best deal possible and was a pleasure to deal with. We wound up buying the vehicle. This is the best car buying experience I have had at a dealership so far.

When getting some recall/service work done I noticed that while my vehicle was in the dealerships possession two of my tires and wheels were swapped out with other factory Mazda wheels and tires that were in very poor repair. (reason for my original review). After speaking with the owner via email and phone we were able to come to a very satisfactory agreement (reason for the updated review and rating). Understanding that the dealership isn’t 100% responsible for the things that happened (May have been theft in the area), I was very pleased with how professionally Robbie handled the situation. Although the circumstances were very unfortunate, I feel that they were able to make the best of it.

Jake did great, we bought our car late in the evening, he stayed late to accommodate as did his manager...very appreciated! However, I did not because of this learn things about the vehicle that I should have. Not at the fault of Jake, he tried...I am/was frustrated with Mazda as far as not having remote start, online was very confusing as far as whether or not my car had it. Had I taken more time I would have resolved that! Jake took the brunt of some of that! I apologize for that...since then he has done everything he promised and more! Thanks Jake! Merry Christmas!

Looked and looked for a used Mazda 3 equipped the way I wanted, and found it at Bob Smith. I called and was helped by Matt Christensen. Matt answered my questions and offered more information about the car, I inquired about the price, since I would have to travel from Portland, Or. to inspect and complete the deal. The asking price was adjusted to compensate me for my travel and the deal was done. Arrived Monday night, stayed at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center, Matt showed up in the car at the hotel so I could see and test drive. Car was better than described! Went back to the dealership, paperwork and funds exchanged, Matt went over the features of the car and off I headed to Portland. Very good deal, GREAT experience with the entire purchase. This is a late review in regards to the time frame of vehicle purchases. However, I feel that due to continued interaction with the store it would be proper of me to leave a review finally. I have purchased at least five vehicles from this store. Some were from clear back to 2006. The most recent being from 2017. The most recent two I have bought is a 2013 f150 and a 2017 Ford Escape. Each of those times Joel, the giant salesman was my go to guy. He seems to know just about everything there is to know about Ford. He also made buying fun with his goofy, yet professional demeanor. Takes the edge off of spending $30k+. I am now in the market for another vehicle and Joel will be my guy once again.

Jake offered to personally deliver my newly purchased vehicle to my house 20 miles outside of Billings. Because my house is not that easy to find and there is no cell phone service in my neck of the woods, Jake had to jump through quite a few (hilarious) hoops to find me. Pretty stereotypical car dealership. They promised to fix a faulty back seat mechanism, which was preventing the chair to fold up. I told them, if they could fix the problem I would purchase the vehicle. They said it would be no problem and promised to do the work at a later date. After the sale was complete I came back to fix my chair. As promised they inspected the seat and decided the answer to fixing the problem was to take scissors and cut the chairs seat belt, which was keeping the seat locked in the downward position. This allowed the chair to remain in the correct position, however, I no longer had a seat belt. When I asked if this was safe, I was told just dont let anyone ride in that seat. I was pretty disappointed. The least they could have done was offer to pay for a new seat belt. When I asked, they pretty much said that was too expensive and out of the question. So I had essentially purchased a vehicle that should hold four people, but could now only hold three.I feel this dealership is kind of a let down. The people you deal with are friendly enough, but they dont follow through on their word. Ill probably shop elsewhere next time.

I recently had a bad experience here and had written a bad review because of it. This was due to my inability to get help from the dealership in relation to mechanical issues on a truck I had purchased from them. They have since made it right, so I feel obligated to write another review in place of the previous one.Long story short: The person who traded the truck into Bob Smith that I later purchased, had some major repairs done at Bob Smiths service department just 2 months prior to me purchasing it. Just one month after I purchased it, the same mechanical failure happened again (head gaskets, warped heads, etc... Totaling over $7000).I had exhausted what I thought was every option, as I could not get a hold of a manager, and the people I was able to speak to had informed me there was nothing they could do. Since then the managers have gotten in touch with me, and though reimbursement for the repairs wasnt possible, they are fixing several unrelated problems with the truck at no cost to me. The dishonest employee that caused this whole fiasco, is no longer with the company, and I believe he was solely responsible for my bad experience. I am very thankful for the treatment I have since received from the managers and applaud their willingness to do what they could to make things right. I would have no problem purchasing from them again in the future, or recommending them to friends and family. If I could offer my opinion on one other issue though, it would be to better educate their sales people on what is and is not covered in extended warranties that they sell with their used vehicles. I had purchased a warranty with this truck for $4500 and later learned that it would have never covered anything on that truck. This was due to a performance tuner that was installed in the truck prior to me purchasing it. Again I dont think this was done on purpose, and even so, was done solely by the aforementioned lying employee that has since moved on. I just think it was an oversight that could have been avoided. Please accept my humble apology as to how I reacted initially, as my anger and haste was misguided.Big thank you to Robbie, Dane, and Scott Smith.

My son researched a car and found what he wanted at Bob Smith Mazda. He worked with Stan Larson on the purchase and Stan was good to him. Stan didnt pressure Joshua and gave him the room to do his research and be sure about his purchase. Joshua spent a good deal of time comparison shopping, but always came back to the Mazda CX-5, which finally won the day.We want to thank Stan for his help in getting Joshua into his new ride.

Jacob Tooker helped us find the right vehicle for us. Jake was very easy to talk to, he asked questions and had an answer when we asked questions. He didnt abandon us while we were waiting to finalize paperwork either, which was nice. Jake followed up even after we left the lot, I was very impressed.
