Have used VR Garage for exhaust work on a couple cars now. Most recently was my daughters car. They knew the modifications wouldnt make the car too loud and they made the finished product look like factory. Very happy with all the exhaust work Ive received from VR.
Took my Vulcan here because the carb leaked onto the engine. Cost an arm and a leg, got home and 2 weeks later, leaking again. Its run perfectly to this point, so I feel paying 400$ to NOT have a problem fixed at all is a rip off. Had to call a truck to come pick me up 20 miles out of town because the problem that was supposed to be fixed, was not. Beyond frustrated as I was supposed to be riding, not on the side of the road.
My dad trusted them with his 62’ flatbed and it was stolen from their shop 2 days ago yet they waited until this morning to inform my dad or contact the police. Might give great service and do great work but there is something fishy about this situation and it is a great loss to our family. This truck has been apart of our family since my great grandma owned it. Gone through three generations and my dad was finally getting it finished. He has poured loads of money and his time into this truck.Care more next time something like this happens to your clients property.
I have done business with the folks at VR Garage for several years now, and have experienced only the highest quality service a repair shop can offer. Ive referred many people to their shop as well, and all share similar experiences. They specialize in classic cars and trucks and are very resourceful when it comes to repairing these classics that may have limited access to replacement parts. They may not be the cheapest in town, but as the saying goes: fast, cheap, quality - pick two, it wont be the third. The recent one-star reviews related to a certain stolen vehicle are unfortunate, and do not reflect on the quality of work this shop has to offer. It is understandable to be upset that a family heirloom has been stolen, but to blame a shop that has many high-dollar vehicles on the premises is just unfair. ANY repair shop will have a disclaimer that they are not liable for vehicles or items lost/stolen on the property, and I know that every effort was made to be sure their customer vehicles are locked and as safe as they can be. The accusation of something shady going on is completely false, because a legit business of 8+ years does not thrive on a black-market of stolen customer vehicles. It doesnt take much common sense to see how silly that sounds. It was likely a crime of opportunity, as most classics dont have the anti-theft systems of todays automobiles.I can only hope that the one-star reviewers can take some time to think on their targeted attacks against this shop and remove them, because they do not reflect the quality of work this shop does, but rather an unfortunate event that neither party could have foreseen or avoided. Anyone with a nice car knows the risks of taking out of the garage, be it for repairs or to a car show. The chance of dings and dents in the paint or outright theft are always looming. Im sorry for their loss, and I hope the vehicle can be recovered. Regardless, I know the VR Garage will continue their streak of great work at a fair price with only their customers highest expectations in mind.
They may actually do good work! BUT BUT BUT there have been multiple weird occasions I’ve heard of at this shop. Air filters being stolen from my buddies car, and just on Tuesday February 16th at about 4:45AM my dads car was stolen from their shop. The owner of the shop didn’t let local authorities or my dad know about the stolen truck until today, Thursday February 18th. This is very suspicious and do not recommend their service. Multiple weird things have happened here to others cars and property. It is not safe here.
Brought my car in for an exhaust weld and they didn’t finish the job properly. They forgot to put a bolt in to hold together the pipes I had another garage fix it. Along with poor work I had engine parts on my passenger seat when I brought my car into the shop that were suddenly missing when I picked up my car. I asked about the parts they denied anything about it. More recently a good friend of mine took their classic truck into their shop that was mysteriously stolen from their lot and was not reported missing to anyone until two days after it disappeared. Bottom line this shop is untrustworthy and suspicious.
Dont take your classic Chevy truck their or it will be stolen, and the shops takes two entire days to call the police after they so called noticed it missing. Get it.......Really fishy with this place. Make sure your theft insurance is paid up before taking anything there..................
A good time, on time.
Great guys and excellent mechanics.
These guys are the most excellent motorcycle shop in Bend. They can work on any bike and are reasonable!
Jason and his phenomenal crew are masters minds of everything Vintage, Retro and Obscure. In no way am I mechanically inclined, but I can always trust that my fleet of motorcycles will be taken care of properly and with care in there hands. With out a doubt one of the top shops in the nation.
Jason has done absolutely impeccable work on all of my bikes. The results have been timely and well done. I would not hesitate to bring any of my bikes in.
Trustworthy, knowledgeable & professional
