Worst haircut I have ever had. Had the haircut on 09/11/21 at 6:30pm. I called the Salon on Monday 9/13. I had tried calling the salon for 30 minutes- they have no VM. Had to call the Ulta store and ask to speak to the salon manager. They were able to schedule me for Thursday 9/16/21 at 1PM. They called me at 9:00Am day of to tell me its cancelled and the only open appointment they have is on Saturday for the same person to cut my hair who messed it up the first time. They are not offering me a refund and I now have to go somewhere else and PAY MORE MONEY to have my haircut fixed by another Salon. They did not offer me in store credit for the cost of the hair cut.

Normally I would give 5 stars but I think they were having an off day! Ive been there 3 times & today was the only time it wasnt totally pleasant! One sales associate although very friendly & well dressed & helpful going back to the stock room to get the product I needed, had a very rushed morning & forgot to shower or maybe forgot to apply deoderant, by the fragrance she was eliminating! Another sales associate although asked if I needed help acted like she had a rough morning too! The cashier however was very nice & was very helpful explaining how I could use my gift cards! I wouldnt let my first two comments stop you from shopping here as everyone has bad days! Go in & enjoy a positive experience!!😃

Nice store, decent staff. One older lady is very rough around the edges, made a comment about me being a guy buying makeup, and complained when I returned an item once. Its Ulta you cant say much more about it.

Worst cosmetics store. Employees talking badly about each other within my earshot. Completely ignored my wants and needs and then gave me a hard time when I wanted to return products that were useless to me. Wish we had a real Sephora!!!

Got my euebrows waxed and tinted by Whitney..and she is/was awesome..felt comfortable..everything was cleaned and sterilized before and after my visit

Staff are pleasant and helpful. Very clean store. They could keep more stock of items. I feel alot of things are out of stock when I come in.

I have had so many issues with shipping and customer service is the actual worst. Never felt more dismissed and disrespected. Almost like talking to a robot. Never was made whole. So 👎👎 would not recommend

The best store, period. The staff is so friendly, so knowledgeable, and funny. The management team really knows what theyre doing. This is hands down the cleanest and most well-kept Ulta store I have ever been to. The staff was helpful and the checkout was quick and easy. The girls at the front were funny and sweet and really know how to interact with people! Best Ulta experience. Will be returning.

I dont normally write reviews, but Kyla was so nice and helpful this past weekend in personalizing my night time and day time routine and finding the right shades of foundation. By that, I mean we looked at different shades in three different light settings! She taught me how to actually apply highlighter and overall gave me a mini-lesson on make up. Super thankful for her patience and help!

Be warned, this store is like jekyll and hyde. On one hand you may go in and the employees will be helpful and genuine. Or you go in another day and they will be condescending and rude. Honestly it’s to the point where I rather order online and wait just to avoid them.

So I walked around and grabbed all of my things. I was there for awhile, it was a big purchase. I Went to the register, I was the only one up there. They helped me right away however when I went to scan my card it read chip malfunction. She said yeah it does that. Suggested I try rubbing it with my finger. I did, it failed. She then says to me if you dont have another card we cant help you here. I explained Ive used my card all day and the chip is fine. So instead of trying one of the 3 other chip readers (too obvious), told me she cant help. Okay apparently they make too much money to care about hiring common sense.

I had a blast in Ulta. My first time there. Very much like Sephora, almost all the same brands. Nice variety of products. Many eager helpers there wandering around. I liked the travel mini size products near the checkout the best.

Took my lady there for her birthday and they gave her a 30 percent discount for it. Great place in my book.

Today I came in for a Pre-birthday gift for myself. I dont know much about makeup so I asked for help and man I had the best service every section I needed. I felt so welcome and they gave me free things to cause I boufht a lot and rewards. I then went home and tried all the stuff I bought and I look 100 times better. I feel so confident. I juat became a number one fan.

Great staff. Very helpful. If you ever need to buy cover up/concealer for your daughter, take your husband, when they have to use him to match the skin tone...its hilarious.

Its every ladies dream. Mascara is never dry unlike Macys, always fully stocked, and the gals are helpful if you need them. Only place I buy my make up from, its important to know what your putting on your skin, and at ulta you can feel safe applying your daily routine to your face.

I went in to ulta today to get a brow pencil and I believe her name was rose helped me and she was great. She was very nice and friendly and we had a great conversation and she did my eyebrows and they look amazing!!! But she helps me pick the right color and she talked to me about the difference between the products. I bought a benefit precisely brow pencil

I have had 2 really great experiences with Ulta in Bend. I was purchasing waterproof/tear proof makeup for myself for my daughters upcoming wedding. Ulta can be overwhelming because of all of its choices. All I really know is cheep drug store make-up. One of the artists there pointed me towards some great products, did demos to show the smudge proof ability. I was about to put away a cheaper brand WP mascara when she told me that it was a good choice ...that I should stick with that if I like that product. What??? That is unheard of....she didnt try to up-sell me. Wow. The products worked great I never smeared even through my tears!! Thanks Ulta employee. The second experience was one day before my daughters wedding our make-up artist canceled on us. One of her bridesmaids booked it to ulta with only a picture of the bride. Our main need was a foundation that wouldnt look fake or cover her freckles and would look good with flash photography. The clerk took a look at her picture and gave 3 free samples for her to take home instead of making her buy 3 $50 foundations. One of the foundations was perfect and She looked beautiful! Thanks Again Ulta employees!!!

Great selection. Prices are a little higher on some items. I have found cheaper prices online but what I like about getting it in store is I have the purchase in hand.

First time into any Ulta Beauty Store. Not impressed what so ever. Store is extremely dirty, as soon as you walk in the entry way its dirty on the glass, window frame, and ground as if no one has cleaned in months! The display as you enter was full of dust, dog hair, dust bunnies, signage wasnt even facing forward. I get we live Central Oregon and its dusty but if you clean at night or throughout the day your store will not look like that! Displays were not put together properly, I think if I was Jeffree Star or one of the Kardashians I would pull my products from this store immediately! No good representation of any of their products, not just who was stated above. I could not tell who was a customer and who wasnt. On top of all that the customer service was anything but good. Very snarky and rude. If you dont like people do not be the face of a BEAUTY store let alone any customer service job.I was expecting a higher end beauty supply store. Walmart in Redmond is better than Ulta. Thank you.

I love ulta and don’t get to go very often so I was super excited to go today, however, I was very disappointed! To the gal who helped my bf find a cologne you were amazing! To the rude girl trying to stock shelves you were a different story. While trying to look for new skin care products she made it very clear that I was in her way while she was restocking. My way was blocked several times while being asked to move. This was at 1 in the afternoon mind you. This was followed by an older employee complaining about the smell of cologne in the shop, they do supply testers and strips so it’s a given that people will want to smell before dropping $100 plus on a bottle. It’s disheartening when you drop so much money at a place with such poor service!

This was the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had at an Ulta. I went in with some of my girlfriends and one of the employees told me I looked like a 5 year old, which Im not going to lie is pretty offensive to say to a 20 year old. We really didn’t appreciate being looked up an down by every employee we walked by. The employee color matching my friend, persistently pointed out how “TERRIBLE” her makeup looked before. At the end off finally find a foundation that fit my friend perfect. SUPRISE it’s no longer available in store or online. So we tried again, and the lady color matching proceeds to now tell her that the one she told her to buy before actually wasn’t even what she should be using. Her words where “actually this one is way better the other one wasn’t enough coverage for your skin.” So maybe if the employee had done her job correctly in the first place we would not have had to wait forever and two my friend would have gotten the right foundation to start with. I went in looking for skin care products and the esthetician there was so healthful! We discussed my skin type and the issues I have, she recommended products to me and I got some samples and we scheduled a facial in a few weeks so we can discuss how the products are working. Then I got my brows waxed by Allison and she did a great job and was super nice!

I have been to several different Ulta stores and this location is by far the least like it’s sister stores. The employees look unprofessional compared to other locations and it makes it difficult to identify staff from customers. Most Ulta stores have a consistent dress code that makes it easier to spot employees. It was also a challenge to find items because many luxury products were not grouped together. All in all, it did not feel like an Ulta.

Huge new store, filled with everything you could want. I prefer the smaller store and being able to find items myself. When forced to ask for help, it was given, but felt like I was disturbing the staff.

They had everything I wanted but I only purchased one item (some bubble bath cubes) that they had in multiple places in the bath section. Every single place marked had the same price and then when I went to the register it was more expensive. Youd think if you just opened you would put out the correct price tags right? 🤔

Went today to find a new foundation. After walking around clueless and trying to find it on my own, a employee asked me if I needed help so I asked her if they had that specific foundation and she had informed me they didn’t carry it. She was was super nice and helpful. I was overlooked multiple times and wasn’t helped by any of them. Out of the ALL the employees there walking around, she was the only nice and non rude one there that actually helped me! They definitely need to work on their attitudes. Cashier was super rude and cut me off multiple times. Not sure if I would ever recommend this place to anyone.

The smell is just out of this world and not in a good way. Its like your bathing in 100 different perfume smells. Just gives you one hell of a headache from it.

Ulta is a great store for cosmetics, hair care and everything inbetween. They carry several different brands from higher end to drugstore brands and there are some Really great people that work there too

I visited the Benefit Brow Bar for a service and McKenzie was so friendly and helpful!!! So many great products and excellent service!

The staff is very friendly but not obtrusively so. I appreciate that they are there if you need assistance but will let you browse uninterrupted as well.

If I could give them zero I would. My husband and i wandered the hair care section for about 10 min before wandering over toward a group of employees. They didnt make eye contact and even turned their backs to us. I myself, am in the beauty business; so i was shocked as i would never treat a customer this way. I came in for a single product (an ULTA exclusive) and was not welcomed. I ended up calling the store while still in the store having to recall 4 times before I reached someone!! This was apparently the only way to get service there..... Finally she came out and looked around 1 corner and peered at the item on my phone and went..... Ya well we can order it. Honestly I would rather pay the online shipping charge than give them The sale at that store.... not be returning. Sorry. You guys need to step it up.

Went to ulta yesterday night and the rude staff there was not helpful at all. I finally found the products I wanted I went to check out and the lady would not get off the phone. Once she finally got off the phone she rang us up. My chip card did not seem to be working so I inserted it into the chip reader three times expecting to be able to swipe it after. She finally informs us that there is a new policy that if you insert it three times and the chip is not working you cannot slide it and you can no longer use that card. I told her I did not have another card so she rudely told me I could not purchase the products anymore. I will definitely be shopping at sephora from now on.

I went there with my girl friend. You guys know that when a woman feels that she is unattractive, better stay out of her way and be nice. Thats a no win. So I treated her to some cosmetic touch ups and she came off that chair looking like a million bucks. I will say that they know their job and they are not lazy. But they can be kind of spendy. But whats a few bucks to complete happiness.

The only thing that makes this store bad is the customer service because there is some good stuff. As someone else mentioned they spend more time standing around ignoring ppl than helping. Ive been in here twice and have never had good service. Disappointed as I had planned on spending a decent amount. I think I will stick with Macys and Sephora.

Kind of want to rate lower because it seems most of the older women lack any customer service at all but the younger women that have helped me have been awesome and boosted it up a couple of stars.Asked a question to two older women on two seperate occasions who didnt seem to want to help or give me the time of day, which makes me not want to go back.

Awful experience! They didn’t give me the sale price then refused to refund my money. So they called the “head quarters” and said what they did was okay... yet when I called they said they hadn’t spoken to anyone from there. 100% don’t recommend. I’d rather risk getting broken makeup in the mail than going back to their store.

Customer service is subpar; employees visiting with each other instead of helping customers. One cashier was showing a customer her tattoos and had to rering the purchas due to errors she made while 8 people waited to check out.

If I had to sum up my experience in one word it would be poop. Ulta has the customer service of a African safari, but the hyenas have been habituated to the presence of humans and therefore completely ignore them. I typically do not leave reviews (neither positive or negative) but my sheer displeasure at ulta was enough to change a well-ingrained habit of reviewlessness. I will take my business to Macys.
