I shattered my screen on my iPhone 10.... I didn’t make an appointment I just walked in at 12pm on a Monday. I was promptly greeted by a very friendly and professional receptionist (red hair... unfortunately I didn’t grab her name). She gave me 3 different pricing options and shared why she would choose one over the other.An hour later I had my phone in hand and ended up saving myself $75 compared to my deductible with Sprint AND a week wait for a new phone. My grandma passed away 2 days ago and I was desperate to get to videos and pictures on my phone.I highly recommend this company!

Great service fixed my wifes Samsung s20 super quick and at a reasonable price. Was unfortunately misquoted the at first but other than that it was exceptional service and speed.

Ive had 2 phones fixed here now, they are friendly, quick, have great prices, and are overall very helpful! First was an iPhone 8 that needed a new screen and battery. Works perfectly now and has years of life. Next was a new battery for a iPhone 6 which they had swapped out in about 20 minutes. I even found a great deal on a used iPhone with a new battery (something you wont get if you order a used phone online) for for Christmas at a great price.

The problem I had was my first gen iPhone would not charge. I walk right in and Mactek was able to fix the problem right away by just cleaning it. No charge, no hassle and feel kind of silly I did not try to clean the charge port myself.

Be careful. I was quoted $259 and ended up paying $359 when I picked up! I was never contacted about a price change. See below for details.I called ahead and got a quote for $259 for an OEM screen replacement on a iPhone XS Max. When I dropped off my phone they looked it over and we discussed pricing (to confirm the quote) and timeline. They asked me questions to fill out my customer profile which included a good contact number and my email address.When I came back to pick up my phone a few hours later, they told me that because my phone was an XS max that the price was actually $359. They said they were happy to change out the screen for me to pick up NEXT DAY if I wasn’t happy with that price. KNOWING they inaccurately quoted me. They never attempted to contact me before starting the project to confirm it was still okay for them to move forward. Instead they took the liberty to decide for me and then when I arrive to pick it up they tell me I either have to pay over $100 more, or pick up next day. I own a marketing agency, my phone is a large part of my job. I couldn’t do next day!While I assume this was a lazy and careless mistake, you’re a business who “specializes” in handling this exact kind of technology. To have held my phone in your hands, confirmed the $259 price with me and then gave me an ultimatum of upcharge or pick my phone up next day was awful customer service and horrible business practice. I would never trust this business to give me an accurate quote or handle my technology correctly.

Oops, I reviewed MacTek previously because its in the same building, anyway: During my last two days of visiting relatives, my son - during some caving expedition - crushed the newest iphone that I JUST bought him, and even though we consider ourselves techie we couldnt solve problems with a cracked screen. Full-disclosure: I spent way too much time embarrassing my son in front of the rep, but he kept calm with my venting; it was just the screen, and everything was fixed before we had to leave so I was very happy with the timely service provided for our time in need.

Great service, I walked in 30 minutes before closing and they quickly replaced my battery. Turned out the phone had a charging port problem and without hesitation they installed a brand new charging port for no charge. Very friendly and fast, would recommend to everyone!

Pete was great! He was was able to fix the screen on my shattered IPhone so fast. I dropped of my phone off and went lunch and came back and picked it up with a nice new screen. After that Pete was able to get my Apple Watch working again as well.

I went to the iPhone Professor because I broke my iPhone 7 screen. Living in Bend this is one of the only places that can replace the screen the same day instead of sending it out.This is the first time I have ever had to replace a screen and I didnt know what to expect. After seeing how the screen was installed after picking up the phone I wasnt 100% happy (I am very particular on electronics) with the fit of the screen. The team was friendly and said to give it a few days to settle and if I still was not satisfied they would see what could be done.I went back the next day and have to admit that they met all of my concerns head on. They saw the small installation issue that was bothering me and offered to order an all new screen and reinstall it. Once this was completed the install of the screen is just as flush as my wifes iPhone 7, I simply cant tell a difference in the fit.This group is top notch, they take pride in their work and more importantly they stand behind it. As with any repair service, not everything will always be perfect so it is how a company responds to the customer that means something and Chris at the iPhone Professor responded exceptionally.I will do business with this group again for any repairs and also for other Apple/computer related needs.

What a all-around great experience.I chose to wait to get my phone repaired and they were so accommodating. I was able to sit on a comfy couch where they had fun and clever reading material, enjoy the most beautiful aquarium, I was even offered some local kombucha! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They were very nice and prompt. I needed the screen replaced on my iPhone SE. All I know, is that my phone worked with the cracked screen when I dropped it off. The phone would not work (kept shutting itself off, wouldnt take a charge) after they replaced the screen. They didnt charge me, but I did have to get a new phone. (I think I also had the option of paying more for additional repair work)

Had an issue with the auto-focus on my camera. Pete had it diagnosed and fixed super fast while I waited. Service was fast and friendly and the price was right!

I am disappointed. I am sure the owner of this company does fine work in repairs. I also realize that these folks who repair Apple Products have a certain policy regarding liability regarding parts that they install and get damage in the process. No customer owned parts allowed. But in the end, customer service communications is important. I wrote two messages on the company site and not even a courtesy response. Even if the answer was NO I cannot repair that for you, it would have been appreciated to get that response rather than no communication at all. Sorry poor start.

I was told about a year ago about the iPhone Professor. My daughter had cracked her screen. I either turned in a claim and pay $175 or go to the iPhone Professor and pay $99....not hard to decide :) They replaced the screen within 20 mins and I was on my way.My daughters screen started to pop out of the casing and the iPhone Professor replaced the screen at no cost. Again, took about 20 mins.Very friendly and helpful! I recommend them to everyone!

There was no explanation on their definition of a deposit. Bad customer service as I had to call them to see if my phone was done. I basically walked into this store and paid them $40 for them to tell me my phone was broken. I would not recommend going here to anyone unless you like losing money especially when youre about to pay to replace your phone.

Bought a phone there that was lcoked by the company, and could not be unlcoked. Teh phone tech guy said it could only be used on AT&T, but i took it somewhere else to be unlocked and was told it was still on contract with AT&T. So phone was sold to them under contract or stolen. Wouldnt be that upset because tehy gave me my money back, but the phone tech guy wouldnt listen to me about the phone, and doenst know what hess doing. Will not go again

First off let me say that the staff is very friendly and respectful. Besides that I am very disappointed in my experience with this company. Last YEAR I had cracked my iPhone screen and had this company replace my screen which was fixed but about 3-4 weeks later my battery some how warped inside of my phone. So at that time I should have had it replaced but due to certain circumstances I was unable to. I recently brought this phone back in to have the battery replaced. Now even though my battery was warped it still turned on but took about 3 hours to charge. Once the technician changed the battery my screen would no longer turn on. He couldnt figure out the problem and said the lead tech needed to look at it. Ok no problem right. Well I brought the phone back in and this is where the fun begins. Once I brought the phone back in I was sitting at the receptionist desk and I thought that my phone was going to be worked on and hopefully finished that day but instead I sat there for 15-20 minutes while every employee failed to inform me that the lead tech was on break and would not be able to get to it that day. In the following week and a half I would call into the office to ask for updates on my phone because I supposedly gave them the number from the cell phone that they were working on that had been shut off a year ago even though I had given my landline multiple times and their caller ID must have been malfunctioning. Beyond that after I finally got in touch with the lead tech who was either not in or was on break every time I called in I was told that my phone was unsalvagable and that I may pick it up or have it recycled. There was no attempt to sell me a used phone or any other alternative. Needless to say I will not be returning for any other service in the future and recommend others to be cautious.

Ive had two experiences now with these guys, and although the first experience was good, after the second trip in, I feel like these guys really have my back and are looking out for me.The first time i came in was for an iphone 5 repair. The phone wasnt holding a charge. The first thought was a battery but it ended up being the charging port that needed to be replaced. This experience overall was a 4 out of 5. And thats just b/c the communication could have been better. Now they were getting slammed w/ calls and work during this particular time so i understand that their communication wasnt as thorough as it could have been as they were just trying to get to everybody... but ultimately, everything worked out and they got the phone up and running again.Second time i came in was for the same phone. This time it wouldnt turn on. Turns out the battery needed to be replaced. For this visit Chris was able to work with me right away, take a quick look at got everything sorted out in like 10 min. Then, b/c i was in just a short while ago, he went ahead and gave me the lower price for a new battery as if I had purchased one with the other job (you get a discount if bundled). Now he didnt have to do that, could have just charged me the full price for a new battery as technically this was a separate visit. But again, really appreciate the fact that he went out of his way like that to save me a few extra bucks. Also, really appreciated how he was able to fit me in and get my phone taken care of since it was a quick fix rather then have me drop it off and come back an hour or two later. So this visit was definitely a 5 out of 5.These guys are easy to talk to, never feel like im getting sold or talked into something i dont need, dont want. And everything has a 6 month guarantee, so if something goes wonky after they fix it, u can just bring it in and youre covered.

DO NOT GO HERE! Got my screen replaced on my iPhone 6s. The screen cracked within 2 days. When I came back, they said I dropped it and wouldnt fix it without me paying again. Turns out they installed it incorrectly so when I put pressure on the screen for the 3D Touch the screen cracked. They also said they used a OEM screen from Apple, WRONG! They used a cheap knockoff. Also, horrible customer interaction.

While they are able to get good prices on parts, I found that the work quality was rather poor. After quickly giving up on recovering my hard drive, they replaced it. While replacing it they failed to properly put the case back on my iMac, breaking the glass front. They were very quick to pay for a replacement, but this added several days to the work time. All along they still hadnt correctly closed my iMac, and by the time they got the second glass front, they put the iMac together with the back corners sticking out. I felt like either the iPhone Professor was incompetent on working with my machine or simply didnt care enough to do a quality job. The customer service was not especially good. When I arrived, the person at the front desk asked me to wait while he worked on another computer before helping me, then continually seemed distracted when I was explaining what I was looking for. Even so, they load software that was lost on my old hard drive onto the new one they installed without any extra fees, which was helpful.The experience overall wasnt terrible, but the iPhone Professor has a great deal of room for improvement. I feel like I could have done a better job on my own, though I probably couldnt have found as good a price on the hard drive. I came looking for data recovery, and I ended up without my computer for nearly triple the time expected and only getting a new hard drive rather than getting advice or help recovering my data.I now need to spend more money to find a different specialist who can help me recover my data, which leaves me feeling like I could have saved a lot of time and money by going somewhere else initially.
