I called Joe to see about setting up a time to bring my desktop in for service to make it faster, after experiencing a bout of slowness and having trouble accessing a particular website that I needed to access. He said lets have you bring it in first to make sure that everything is running correctly before adding anything to it. I had recently installed a printer and downloaded the driver from the company website. He was able to offer me a same day appointment, and examine my computer for anything malicious. Nothing was found that needed fixed, and it was determined that I just needed to restart my internet modem at home.I really appreciate the prompt same day appointment, and that he didnt try to sell me something that I didnt need. I brought in my Dell laptop with Intel i3 8th generation, 12G ram, and spinning hard disk....I bought this one year ago at Costco. It was really never very fast to begin with and over the year just became painfully slow (I realize it is a basic model computer, but it shouldnt have been that slow). I even reinstalled windows myself incase of virus, but it remained the same.Quick Start did a performance update with reinstall of windows without any of the bloat-ware that is normally installed on new computers, and installed a new solid state hard drive. Wow. I am stunned at how fast this machine runs. Its way better than new. Save your money, dont buy new......optimize what you got. I will recommend Quick Start computers to friends and family.

We had a very bad experience with Joe. In Feb 2017 we bought a Lenovo laptop for 438 dollars. After 8 months it starts to crash. I called him and he,asked me to bring it in. My husband did. He never told us upfront that we need to pay him 55 dollars just for checking it and 195 dollars if he will open it. I was so upset with him. Then he asked me if I wanted to trade it in for another computer. I told him he did a bad business with us. My husband told him the computer is his and thats the end of our business with him. He is a selfish person and doesnt have professional etiquette or good customer service. The only reason why we bought from him was because we wanted to help his business. 438 dollars for a refurbish laptop is a lot. I wont recommend him to any of my friends
