I needed to replace the battery in my Mercedes Benz key fob and these guys looked up how to do it (so as not to cause damage) and replaced on the spot. So helpful, kind and just awesome customer service!
Got a wiper motor for my jeep, was told to bring the core back for $40, it would go back on my card. Finished the project, core to the shop and the man claiming to be the store manager said cant help you without a box. I recycled the box like any sane human and apparently there is not any chance of help from this guy. He flat out refused to look me up on the computer, check any other way or give me any help whatsoever. He told me hes been in the parts business 30 years I should have known. Not only was it not told to me when i bought the part that a box would be needed. This man refused to even take the time to move down the counter to talk to me. Worst customer service I have ever received. Parts at Baxter are already more expensive than most shops, the value comes from experience and customer experience, and apparently they do not provide that anymore at the Bend south store.

Quick in and out. Got what I needed fast with good service and fair prices. Staff was helpful and they seemed to have good inventory. Ill go here again when I need stuff. Good location on the south end of town.

I dont know why I go there except that I remember in Portland they had good Baxter Auto parts here they dont even want you to come in the door you get a negative feeling and its been like this for years. Baxters in Bend kind of sucks.so I called OReillys for sure they had a cheap part have it here tomorrow no problem
To all the people claiming that there is s no return policy yall need to stop spreading lies! I have spent 1000s of dollars at the south Baxters in Bend and have returned many items that I ended up not actually needing. Hell they have even special ordered parts that had more than one option and I wasnt sure what option I needed so they ordered both and then with 0 issue gladly returned the one I did not need. So I am thinking that all yall that could not return parts there were total @ssholes to the counter guy or are full of s#it. I will always recommend Baxters

Great auto parts store. has all the hard to find items for your vehicle and knowledgeable staff behind the counter. they also special ordered a part for me and it was there overnight.
Well we bought chains for our car yesterday before driving the mountian pass from Bend to Eugene. Ive installed chains before and I know how they work, i have my own but was in a rental car and forgot to have some. Needless to say we bought them put them on and about 2miles later one of them broke apart. Not where you connect then but on the edges like the rungs of the ladder. I called the store explained that I will be returning them. All the guy said was it was probably install error and they probably wouldnt do anything. This is horrible that they sell cheap manufactured chains that people put on for the safety of their lives and others on the road and dont help at all and are rude. I would avoid this place just for the lack of customer service.

The no return thing is a bummer. Ive had to return faulty power steering pumps twice in a one year period. When I decided to go a different direction the clerk seemed astonished I wouldnt have a go at trying a third. I was then informed Baxters doesnt give money back.My hard earned money by the way.They did eventually, after some pleading on my part issue a store credit for the failed part.I understand that the bad parts, may be part of the risk of installing refurbished components into a vehicle, the lousy attitude I was shown at the counter however, wanting only what is fair and customary at other parts stores was really disappointing. I am taking my business elsewhere.
