I learned so much from Kyle during my one hour Full Face Makeover! He did an excellent job listening to my wants and needs, while also artistically delivering a one of a kind natural and glowly look made just for me.In the notes section before I submitted the date and times, I added about my sensitive eczema prone skin and wanting a natural no-makeup makeup look without eyelashes, eyeliner or bold high contrast colors. I hoped my makeup artist would take the time to read it before the appointment and guess what - he did.The person doing my makeup waa Kyle, a kind, easy to talk to, bubbly, knowledgable, passionate perfectionist! Before the appointment having arrived early, he symphasized with my sensitive skin which showed me he took the time to read my notes beforehand. I knew I was in good hands! Its no surprise he uniquely choose only the most natural high quality products for sensitive skin!The makeover process went great, however I really wish there was a two hour option for those seeking more one on one makeup instruction. Believe me when I say that, learning everything he had to teach, our one hour makeover flew by so fast! We didnt get a chance to do the lips, but even despite this I hardly needed it, photo attached! He did an incredible job with everything else including skin care/prep, concealer, eyebrows, eyes, ect. He was teaching and advising me where to apply the products, how much product to use, how often, and so forth, while alao answering my questions and listening to my needs and wants. He took quality time with me while also powering through and squeezing what he could into one hour.Overall, Kyle artistically and thoughtfully showed me how to create a fresh, warm and glowy look, catered to my Asian/Latina skin tones, with products specifically for my sensitive skin as requested. I highly recommend Kyle and this location for a full face makeover.Its been a while since our makeover and Im still using the same products and techniques I learned from Kyle to this day!

The store was fine. Giving one star because I was given a code to rate the seller who helped me. So I took my time to use that code and found out there was no survey but a website trying to convince me to make a credit card. Is this kind if fraud even legal? Im mad because I was willing to rate that nice lady and was lied into attending total different recourse. I found the survey in the internet filled out the form and got a message it was in vain because the survey has expired. The store itself is nice but everything is overpriced.

Extremely rude personnel. I picked up the package to read the ingredients of the cream and an employee came up to me and said: we ask you to not touch anything because now I have to disinfect it because you touched the item. Christy D was by far the most helpful sales associate out of any of the stores we walked into as we shopped for Christmas gifts. Her knowledge of the merchandise and perfume was extraordinary. She knew the flowers and additives that were in all the different labels and also was able to reference scents that were not relevant anymore. I was amazed at her customer service and ability to focus us for two completely different individuals that we were shopping for. What an experience!! She was exactly what the store needs to maintain the idea of why we go to brick and mortar stores. She also gave us samples to make sure that before my mother and a nephew opened or used the product that they had a chance to try and use the fragrance.

CARLOS IS THE BEST. He is SO knowledgeable and has helped me exponentially in catering my skincare routine to something that is budget friendly as well as effective. Accosted at door by salesperson wanting to know WHAT i was buying, due to covid, and then informed me of copious amount of rules for store entrance. Once inside not allowed to touch anything, and all the lids were closed so you basically cant see or test anything. A pointless, wasted time and gas effort that DOES NOT FOLLOW SCIENCE. SCIENCE tells us that covid is passed by breathing droplets in that someone else who has it has expressed within the range. Its not passed by touch with a remarkable enough amount to warrant this ridiculous blockage. There are more germs in people hands from not washing after going potty.....but but of course we never blocked anyone from looking at products with that risk, did we?

Ive Also Seen Groups of Associates. Stand in the Middle/Front of the Store Laughing & Talking. While a Group Customers fills the Fragrance Area in the Back.

Lady at the register told me I could get 15 dollars off if I spent 75. I was at the front of the line and none of the other employees said anything to me or my friend, and we were in there for about 45 mins. my friend said the cashier who checked her out didnt even say anything and she was at$70. I would have been nice to know as I could have got something else and then saved a little bit of money but when youre at the front of the line its too late

Good selection of products and the staff are very friendly and attentive. They recently moved to a larger location as well, and the new store is beautiful and much better than the old location. However, the store does get very busy during the afternoon and there are often long lines at the checkout counter.

This is probably my favorite Sephora to come to, and I have had very mixed experiences with Sephora stores. I usually come here after work, tired and disheveled, no makeup on purpose in case I want to try products. Ive never received any condescension from sales associates at the Bellevue Square Sephora (cant say the same about, say, U-Village). And Ive gotten genuinely good, well-considered recommendations. Like an associate suggesting I give forest green eyeliner a shot when I was looking for gray eyeliner but was open to suggestions (my second-favorite eyeliner color now after purple!). This store is probably my number one reason for visiting Bellevue Square regularly, actually.

I highly recommend this location. I needed to do an exchange due to a bad reaction to a product and Leia was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She helped guide me to other products I hadn’t even heard of and educated me on their various skincare properties. Also, I had trouble pumping makeup from a tube of tinted moisturizer that I just bought. I felt silly since it worked more for them when they tried it, but it seemed to have a lot of air in the tube and feel much lighter than the other full tubes. I wanted to make sure I was getting the amount I paid for and they were super accommodating and switched it out for me. Thanks, Bellevue Sephora ladies!

It was a busy day obviously due to VIBR sale, the store was crowded, I couldnt find anybody to help me as all the associates seem very busy helping other customers. I understood, so I’ve decided to open the drawer at the bottom of the shelf by myself since the shade I was looking for was not restocked on the shelf, the associate who was helping the other customer suddenly came to me and said can you wait a sec, I said ok then the other associate came to me asking what can she help, I asked about the shade, she answered immediately without thinking/looking at the drawer nor asking for inventory as the way they normally would do “it’s sold out, if you don’t see up here(shelf) then it’s sold out” with the attitude which made me feel like I shouldn’t ask such A simple question and she was not proactive at all to provide help! 2 stars for the other associates who helped me during my shopping experience here, Sephora, it’s time to train some of your associate ladies about what is customer service :)

I would give zero stars if I could. The fact they finally had to make a public announcement that they will close temporarily to undergo diversity training affirms what most people have experienced. They discriminate and treat customers as criminals, following them around the store. The reviews that say its just whining (Jimena ValRo) must never have had it happen to them or they work for Sephora. I was just walking by the store this one time and a employee glared at me. Then she ran to a mall cop who proceeded to follow me around. This is their attitude towards the public and it will never change. Boycott them so they will have to close permanently.

Love the selection but the customer service is seriously lacking. I came here on a Thursday morning when the store was not busy. There was a group of five sale associates testing products on themselves and completely ignoring customers. I accidently backed into one of them and apologized and she just rolled her eyes. Thankfully, someone finally came over to help me but I wish it had not taken 10 minutes.

I was forced to return the Ole Henriksen Glow Dark Spot Toner because after one usage (last night per indicated directions) it had a horrific interaction with my shampoo the next morning. After I stepped out of the shower the skin along my forehead and hair line was burning and I was developing a first degree burn. The only common area of impacted skin was where the shampoo foam had touched the toned area (despite there having been 8 hours between). After multiple cold compresses and aloe vera my pain began to lessen. The reason I am writing this review is because as I conveyed this to the Sephora Bellevue Square employee tonight she looked at me incredulously, laughed, and then proceeded to say, •Well, if it really is that strong I should buy it.” I am very disappointed and quite frankly hurt by this kind of customer service. No one expects employees to be chemists or dermatologists but what we do expect is to be listened to and have our concerns taken seriously. A first degree burn is not a joke. I sincerely hope that Sephora, as a major retailer of skincare products, has a better policy in place for handling serious skin interactions which put the health and safety of their consumers at risk.

Did the people that rave about customer service go to the same Sephora that I went to? This is by far THE WORST SEPHORA STORE IVE EVER BEEN TO. I travel a lot and have been to many Sephora locations, so I know its not the company. ALL of the employees here are extremely rude, stuck up, and cant be bothered. I have NEVER been assisted at this location. If you are looking to browse products, make the drive and go to the Seattle or Northgate, nobody at this location knows products or cares to give you their time of day. Sephora, do your customers a favor, fire everyone here and just close this location to stop the bleeding. Also, smells like cat pee.

This is the worst Sephora store I have ever been. The store itself is nice and neat but the customer service is just horrendous. Nobody bothered to ask if I needed help. Just kept chatting amongst themselves though there are customers out there who walked into the store and looking around for things. If they are actually into sales, they should be making an effort to make customers feel welcomed and suggest different products according to their needs. Instead they had nonchalant attitude and guess what customers are the ones paying their paycheck. Seattle downtown has Way better customer service than this Bellevue location. Overall, just very poorly trained associates and Ill just order online.

The store itself is neat as all Sephora are, but the customer service is not the best. I went to the store to get a sample of a perfume and I asked a lady name Chrissy I think and she was really rude about it. I initially said it was for my mom and then stated that I like it as well because I wanted it as a gift for my mom-- and if she doesnt like it, its a sample Im getting anyways. She was really snarky with her remarks and mumbled that it wasnt what I said at first. If Im buying a gift for a person, Id rather keep it a surprise until they find out. In addition to that she was not helpful at all because I told her the perfume and scent I wanted- and she said they did not have it, ever after I showed her where its located at. Before getting me the sample she was very hesitant and asked me where my mom was at- almost like she needed to see if I was of age to get a SAMPLE. I just wanted a sample and leave so I stated that Im legal adult and I also am in Sephoras membership to prove that I shop at Sephora and I do know what I was talking about. In conclusion- this lady was not helpful at all- instead she wasted my time and rude to other customers besides me as well.
