Destiny was working alone till 12. I had 3 kids with me and she made sure to make me feel comfortable with them being kids! Lol she was so kind and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend going into this store!! So glad I switched to Verizon and had Destiny help me. The change was so fast and easy!
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Employee wasn’t even dressed in uniform, he was wearing a tye-dye shirt. He also ran up to the store as I was pulling in for my appointment. Wasn’t interested in helping me or the guy that came in after me from the start. Must be nice to get paid to tell people you can’t help them so you don’t have to actually do your job. Just drive to the Fairview Heights location and save yourself the time.
Watch their “discounts” and trusting that they will appear on your Verizon bill. We had a situation with a promise of a discount that didn’t appear anywhere on ANY of the paperwork. We will see the final outcome, and I will update my review based on the outcome of my providing them with evidence as to their folly and lies.Customer Service did reach out to us and we have a temporary resolution. This thing could have been avoided with better documentation/contract visibility.If the contract is fulfilled, I will update my rating at that time.
Today we switched to Verizon, we were apprehensive at first, but Johnny was very informative & welcoming, he made us feel comfortable & the transition was smooth. We highly recommend this location.

Happy some of you like this place. The young lady that helped me screwed me over a couple months ago. My phone broke, even though I had insurance, was talked into a new one. Said would be no charge. Haha. Paying $60 a month more and Verizon says yep, too bad. Totally scammed me.

My screen went black and couldnt be fixed so I called the store and Derek answered all my questions. I came in later that day and Will was there. We figured out what would be the best for me. I didnt want to lose my pictures and he was able to start a backup on it with only using 1/3 of the screen. He told me to come back the next day since it was backing up over 1,000 pictures. When I came back Sean took care of getting me set up on my new Galaxy S20+. He was very knowledgeable and patient with all the questions I had. I was on a time crunch and he made sure to streamline the process for me so I could get out in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them for your Verizon needs! I will be going there from now on!

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S20 from Microsoft directly and I needed a 5G simm card so I went to my local Verizon authorized retailer. Both employees at the store were busy with customers so I sat down and waited my turn. Darien was the first to wait on me. Darien is a friendly guy and didnt waste time getting a simm card installed and phone setup, then transferred my data from my old phone to my new one. I had close to 50 GB of data to transfer so it took awhile. Just a minimum charge and I was out the door. Excellent job all the way around. Thank you

I can no longer say anything positive about this Verizon store. Nothing they have told me since moving my number from a pre-paid device to a post-paid has resulted in an accurate way. It took 4 business days to get a working device. They have no better success at calling VZW support than any other normal joe off the street. They said my previous billing would stop, it hasn’t. Ryan and Damien worked hard and stayed late, but apparently going to a non-corporate store isn’t worth the hassle.AVOID THIS STORE

Derek is the saleperson who sold me my S20 I have appreciated its durability and ease of use since buying it last year. Its a tough phone but it is also fast and has great computing power. The ten foot drop has saved it more times than I can count and the screen has never scratched. I took the protector off because the phone screens better. Well back to Russell. Ive always had an easy time with all the staff they talk to you and treat you with respect. Theres never a long wait and they have great accessories. All in all A great store. Im coming up on my next prepaid discount soon, ill be down to 35$ per month. Cant really beat that.
Do not waste your time either the employees dont know their job or are to lazy to do their jobs. Took a one yr old phone there as it stopped working to get it reset and was told it was an out dated 3g phone and they couldnt do anything but sell me a new phone. Went home called Verizon customer service was informed the said phone was a compatible phone and 4g they were able to fix and update over the phone. Also the phone was bought from them .terrible customer service. Also heard the manager comment on another customer that had run out to the car saying she refused to work on his problem the day before cause he had an iPhone 11 that wouldnt connect to his apple watch and thats not her problem.

Very busy after normal hours. It was pretty much a one-man show... Hire another person or better manage your people. My buying experience was interrupted by at least 3 or 4 other people including questions from another Verizon employee?

Hello. I have had several issues with the Russell Cellular store located on Carlyle Ave in Belleville, IL. I just got off the phone with support and they told me I could surrender my phone back to the store I purchased it from. I drove to the store and the OPEN sign was on. I walked in and ANDREW was sitting there counting his drawer. He asked what do you need? and I told him I was there to surrender my phones. He then said we dont do that here, you have to go to a corporate location. I told him I had just spoken with support who told me that I could take my phones back there. Andrew then told me that the store was closed. I asked, how, when the OPEN sign was on and I had just walked in. He told me that they close at 8 and it wasnt his fault that I didnt read the hours on the store door. I got upset, as any normal customer would, and stated again that I was just there to give him the phones. He then told me that they were closed and I needed to come back tomorrow. As I was halfway out the door ANDREW stated (loud enough that I could hear) for me to come back at a decent time. I came back in and asked him what he said? Did he just pop off at me? He stated that I popped off at him first and that he had places he needed to be. I reminded him that I was a customer (because I still am) and that he cant just treat me this way. He then said that he was a human being. Which I informed him that I WAS TOO!!! He told me to leave or he was going to call the cops. This man, yelled at me. This man intimidated me and used scare tactics on me. I dont know if its because Im female; or because Im Mexican. I have never been so disrespected in my entire life! All I want to do is end things with Verizon and give them back their phones so I NEVER have to deal with them in the future. What a horrible place Russell Cellular is running!!

There is maybe just one employee that is friendly and informative. The rest dont seem to know what they are doing at all and seem very uninterested. And while they are fumbling to find out what to do for your phone their computers will be down so they really cant help you

Accidentally dropped my phone and broke it. I called and they had me a new phone set up and ready for me to pick up within 20 mins.
