They are neat & clean & most good value! Very helpful at service desk! Not like it used to be though when it was a different time( I remember when it first opened) It was better then & now it kind of looks like a sad store with a lot of merchandise they bought from overstock! Some nice things surprised to see & others like kids stuff very gaudy but guess cater to somebtypes who live in Newark- Belleville area! I asked a person working there a question & she said no English! Not shocked but as I said probably the area & service desk was accommodating! Its quiet & not crowded & a plus for me! I ran in to see if I can find a last minute gift & I found more! Id go again if in vicinity but not much else down there anymore!
I reserved a bike online at this location because this was the closes store from New York that had the bike my daughter wanted. The bike was in excellent condition and all the products was in the box. But the customer service there is so terrible its ridiculous. The line was so long the employees had the nerve to be standing there talking before dealing the customers. After standing 30 minutes in line the employee didnt even hand me my product she was so lazy she made go into there storage area to get it. If my daughter didnt love this bike i would have gave them 1 star
I feel that this K-Mart can definitely appeal to the older crowd, its not too crowded which serves as a plus given the times we are in, and alot of the clothes they have there are more suited for the more mature generation.I just wish theyd do something about the overall lighting of the store.The lighting reminds me of the lighting youd see at a prison or a hospital burn unit; green and gray undertones, which makes for a depressing shopping experience.Hopefully, they can remain open, I will try to support whenever I can if I need essentials like toiletries.Edit: theyre closing. Im not shocked, I went there again today to see if I can find anything on sale. Out of season couch throws for 29.99? Out of season x-mas sheets for 40 dollars..Wheres the sale?
The store is closing . If you live near by go check out what they have but if you want to shop shop DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. They dont have much in-store.
Kmart is located on Joroloman Street and Main Street in Belleville this is a non closing Kmart and it is pretty good when I went in it was very quiet they have a wide variety of clothes food and lots of other things the service is good they are a little short on staff but overall I am still happy with this store the vibe is also very good and the store is clean
At the end of the day... all are people having a human experience. All humans bare some defect and may be having a difficult day. I can not say that I ever had a bad experience at this KMart. They may not have what Im looking for and the experience is what I made it to be. I like this store and hope they stay open, especially at these difficult times of COVID 19. Horrible Costumer Service!!!!I have no idea how you guys pick some of your managers for the store.I am a Belleville Resident My Family and friends always purchase home items from this store.Grills - Outdoor dining tables and etc. Today I had the WORSE COSTUMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE .I went and purchase a 12ft x 10ft Canopy ; the buying experience was great and the lady at the counter was very nice and polite - according to the receipt her name is Magda - Spanish lady.Once i got home, after opening the Canopy to try and set it up I found that the item was damage I called the store right away.Somebody picked up and i told them what i wanted to do, THE PERSON TOLD ME - HOLD ON ILL TRANSFER YOU TO A MANAGER!!!!!!!!They transfer me to a Nice understanding Lady (ADELIS) - after I told her what had transpire and that I cant close the Canopy or make it even fix in my car to take it back. She Apologize and stated to please just break it apart and bring it because they have to sent the item back and sorry for the inconvenience. I dont want to get her in trouble - but we agree that I wasnt going to exchange the Item since I didnt have a good experience with the Item and i dont find it reliable.It took me 2 hours to try to bend the item and make it work for me to carry it to the Store- Once i got there a lady at the counter told me that she will not help me because theres no returns or exchanges till June 9th.I told her that I was told to come in by a Manager and thats why Im there - She said they gave you the wrong information. I cant help you. A INDIAN MANAGER was just talking from the side telling me to take the item and come back another day. ADELIS IS NOT HERE AND SHES NOT A MANAGER. After telling her a bit of what happened - She looked at me as if I was crazy and had 3 heads and decided to call ADELIS from her cellphone - She even put it in SPEAKER thinking I was lying and ADELIS would say something opposite to what i was saying - To her Surprise ADELIS repeated exactly what I was telling her - She got very upset - Hung up the phone and told me to take the Canopy and come back when ADELIS or the manager from the Morning was there - That Adelis is not a Manager and shes only a supervisor - She doesnt know better thenShe called a Manager - African american bold headed gentleman name AQUIL - who Very rudely told me his name and spelled it with a tone of (YOURE NOT GONNA DO NOTHING TO ME - IM ABOVE YOU). This guy has no respect for Costumers - No sense of understanding a situation - Doesnt even Listen to what I was trying to tell him - Only hears to ANSWER - NOT TO UNDERSTAND. He said You better take that thing out of here- ADELIS AINT NO MANAGER AND YOU CANT LEAVE THAT HERE. I try to talk to him but he was starting to get very loud.A THIRD manager name STEVE came in - He asked me what had happened - for the Third time i told him what happened - He answered with a better Understanding tone and just told me to try to understand him as well ; to please just exchange it now or come back for my money after June 9th. I told him that since the experience wit the Material of the Canopy was not good - I rather have my money back and Come back June 9th. I only asked to have something in writing so theres no issues or more misunderstandings like today. He agree; he was trying to write the letter but AQUIL Kept Hollering saying that I better take The whole Metal Canopy - Box - Top of the Canopy and The bag back to my house. I explained to him that I walked it to Kmart and had 2 people Helped me carry it - they left and Im by myself i wont be able to do it but if theres a place where i could take it and carry it to so itll be out of the way, Ill do it. He didnt want to hear it - He got super mad and said Forget it, do what you want at this point - we wont help you exchange it or get a refund. Very rude and his tone was very ugly - he had his mask down the whole time so I could hear him better I guess. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT SKILLS BY AQUIL AND THE INDIAN MANAGER. I want a solution from this big problem ASAP.

I promised Id write up a review, so here goes. I placed an order online for in store pickup for a few fleece throw and pillow sets for my girls. Before submitting my order, I checked multiple times to make sure the store had stock and I could get it the same day. So, after 4 hours go by, I decided to stop by because I was finished shopping at a nearby storeWhen I arrived, I was helped by Tammy. She could have easily just went with what the register told her in that their supplies were gone. But, a co-worker who was not on shift mentioned she saw a supply still in the stock room. After they both go into the back, they emerged with 3 bundled items.For those offering less than stellar reviews, I recommend being kind to them, even if you need to get their attention due to inattentiveness. Hopefully management sees this and recognizes the associate that helped towards making my familys Christmas a joyous one.
One of the last remaining chain stores from my childhood. This place has a little of everything.Prices are decent.I often find Raiders gear here which is rare on the east coast.Parking lot sux. Needs a lot of work.Summing it not a bad place to shop. Not the best. Not the worst.

Something is wrong with their credit card machine. You insert the chip in and it wont read anybodys card. Everyones card was not reading, lines were not moving. When it was my turn, same happened to me. Luckily I had cash, paid and left.Dear Kmart, fix your machines, hire more cashiers, allow American Express to be accepted. If this store cant function properly then close down like the rest.

I had the pleasure of recieving assistance from an employee named Ashley.I came in to pick up an order, but there was an issue with it and it was not available. Although I began to get frustrated, management remained calm and helpful. They called surrounding stores, double checked inventory, and even assisted me in picking a new comforter set.Thanks Steve, Ashley, and Maya for the help! It was greatly appreciated.

I was there to exchange a pair of boots at customer service. A worker named “Adelys” was fooling around with her coworkers and failed to acknowledge me. When she finally decided to attend me her attitude was TERRIBLE. No “hello” “how are you” OR a “thank you”. Not a single word was exchanged from her part. Fire her.

I placed and order for pick up because I was in a rush I just headed to the store within the hour of ordering since Target usually has your pick up orders ready quickly I hoped Kmart would do the same. I was wrong. The floor supervisor was bothered that i came so quickly and said it takes 1/2 an hour for the order to even reach the system. Then she calls whom ever is handling these orders and the person states that they are on lunch. So much option was to go searching for the item, which I wanted to avoid, and wait for this one employee to finish lunch to get my order. Before I lost it, I went to see if it was even in stock and it was not. So I just left. The worst people ever.
This gotta be the worst Kmart in the USThey got nothing here, the electronic section its laughable and dont bother going there if you found something you like on their website, because if it shows on the site that they have it, it wont be at the store. I gave it two stars because the staff are friendly and willing to help
Overall experience was absolutely TERRIFIC!!!, very helpful and nice, even when putting things back, I was in the store for about 2 hours and never felt rushed or uncomfortable. I am making this my permanent Kmart store, only issue more clarification on sizing in plus size, it can be a little confusing, but thats not going to stop me from coming back
So I go to buy some curtains and couldnt find any as they was not on place they used to be. I look around aisles and spoted one worker by the bathroom items. I asked if she is working here she said yes. I asked if they still have curtains in the store?! She looked at someone else across of aisle, i didnt see who, and they started laughing. Then she turned to me and asked me if i speak Spanish. I said sorry no, she said sorry no English. Now English is not my primary language either but common some courtesy is necessary for customers. This is just ridiculous.

It was fine until I gave the cashier a coupon from Fresh step cat litter, which the company sent me and that I have used many times in other stores and neither cashier nor floor manager could figure out and told me it was not a valid coupon! SERIOUSLY?

The place is very dull...we went there to buy sofa bed or futon. We called and customer service said they have several what we saw online but when we went there, there was only one....overall didn’t like that place.
They give a lot of reward points. Ive gotten so many things for basically free, just because I shop there and rack up points.
Honestly I come here for the convenience, not the quality. There’s always a level of griminess I feel when I’m here. The food section skeeves me out, and the clothes are subpar. Today, the bathroom, which has 3 stalls, had absolutely 0 toilet paper. Probably worst is the staff, who really don’t care much about anything. The lines are always long and there’s always someone asking for a price because for some reason there are a ton of things in the store with no price to be found. This turns into a 10-minute wait for someone to come get the product and either go find a price or get another one. Overall, I avoid this place if I can.

Half the merchandiae doesnt have prices, or they have the wrong prices. Youll be lucky that someone on your line doesnt have a price check. Most of the staff have poor attitudes and loudly vocalize theire displeasure with working there. Good luck trying to go in and out. The reward system is good
