I have always shopped here for their good sales and discounts they offer, but last Sunday while visiting, my 2 year old daughter came up missing here. I began to panic because I couldnt find her. I immediately begin asking workers nearby and they didnt see her neither. One of the managers moved effectively and called a code adam and had all of the doors shut and locked until we found her. About 10 minutes of running around with workers and nice strangers, we found her right where I was standing, under a table with a cloth draped over top of it. They were awesome, sad to see this place closing down!

So sorry to see the store closing. Have shipped JCP since childhood. Great people, service and quality products.

Going out of business sales are great!! Still had good variety of clothes.

This is a beautiful store. There are a lot of clothing options for all ages and sizes.There is an excellent costume jewelry department as well as fine jewelry. They carry makeup and skin care also have a hair salon.

Got my hair cut and beard trimmer by the most maticulous and gifted hairstylist ever and friendly. Her name was Michelle Valley. Found out she rarely even has an opening in her schedule shes that requested. You better book a month or two ahead of time. Id give her ten 🌟 if it let me.

Stopped in to find a gift for a girlfriend. Why do your plus size clothes always look like they are old fashioned or for old ladies? This is one reason people shop on line. The average woman is NOT a size 3.

I am sorry I cant remember the ladies name who helped my daughter and I at the jewelry counter today, but what a wonderful experience. This lady did a wonderful job help us find a match to a necklace and earrings for a present for my wife.To be truthful my daughter and I probably were a pain in the butt, but she took all the time we needed even though the store was busy and I know it was time for the clerk to end her shift but she was so patient and so helpful and we finally found the perfect combination to make the perfect gift.This is one of the main reasons I shop here, we have always gotten great service and the associates have always been top notch!

Renee does a great job. She is very good with assisting all customers. Very patient. Works to give JCPenneys experience a great one. Ladies in jewelry do a good job too. I am glad we have JCPenney in Bay City, Mi.

Just went shopping there for their summer discount sale and I had an amazing time. I was worried about the cost of everything I chose because I chose a lot of shirts. But the cash register/salesperson Kay was very kind and helped me figure out what was on sale and what was not. She even helped me apply for a discount for my shirts and stuff so I could stay within budget. I will definitely be going back to this establishment because I believe that they are very kind and very helpful business. In total with Kay my savings were 559.12.

Not a very good big and tall section, plus Im not a millennial so not interested in skinny jeans and many of the other styles they offer.

I went in with a very bad hair coloring from another salon. I was so worried that I would not be able to get it fixed and would have to live with what I had until the color came out. That is, however, not the case. I am so grateful to say that I went to your location the next day and was immediately taken care of. I was given to a master stylist that worked a miracle on my hair. The stylist I had was Michelle Hess!! She was amazing! She really is an asset to your salon and to the customers that come in there. If I was a resident of Bay City MI I would continue to have my hair done by her. She did encourage me to start seeing a stylist at the JCPenney in the state that I do live in. Because of Michelle, I will now have my hair done only by a stylist at JCPenney. Please let Michelle know that I am so thankful for her service.

Went to buy mens shoes. Limited selection mediocre quality but prices were excellent. Very little help available. Neat clean and organized.

It is convenient to have a JC Penney in the mall, especially since pretty much everything else is closed. Its not a huge store, and they dont carry my size in jeans, but its an okay store.

Not as impressive as its heyday. Store is clean, but help seems sad and unmotivated. Great place to buy a discount suit ot accessories. Womens department is still full of clothing. Overall can get some pretty good deals if you are willing to look around.

I found the pair of pants that I wanted and the cashier ordered me 3 more pairs to come in so I would be all set. She was very nice. Great customer service.

Like the location, prices and quality of their items. Not as stocked as Saginaw, but still good. You can always order and pick up in the store.

Only store that Carries my clothing for large men I need a x5 shirt and I cant buy them at Walmart or any other store around so I come from westbranch a few times a year and buy a decent amount of clothing. They have great prices on the shirts I need i highly recommend shopping here.

I was birthday shopping for my daughter. I had to search for the things I was looking for. I would have asked an employee to help, but there wasnt anyone around. I did find my items, but it took some time. I also noticed prices. Things I could get at any other store was way my expensive here than there. Make sure you have $$. They wonder why business is low.

The salon is always top notch, the two new gentlemen in mens at register, were helpful and friendly. I missed seeing this on the floor. I will never understand why they reduced staff.

Always liked JCPenny but lacking in dress clothes for boys 8-18. Still shop there but they need to increase the boys clothing.

Found what I was looking for at a great price, but wasnt too impressed with the poor organization the racks had. The fixture said size 36, there was maybe 3 size 36 out of about 15 pants...

Seems to be dwindling in products for sale... it looked like half the store was missing.... everything is spaced out to make the store look full

This is a smaller JCPenney. It appears well stocked and the employees are friendly. No Sephora. Layout looks a lot like the JCPenney in Midland which closed back in 2017.

Went looking for engagement rings. We had went to Kays and Zales in the Bay City Mall, none of the things they had really caught my eye plus the price tag was more than I we wanted to spend. I remembered one of my friends went to JC Penney for her wedding set.Store clerks were very helpful and wouldnt you know it... Found the ring that I absolutely love and with a price tag that was fantastic. Kay was a great help and gave us some information in order to get a better deal.Be sure to check out all your options. No need to spend thousands on a ring. The JC Penney Website has amazing choices and deals as well.

Levis and sandals on sale. By applying for a Penneys credit card and another special scratch off coupon they had I ended up paying about $45 for $100 worth of merchandise.

My sister and I have been getting our hair done here for at least 10 years now. Im from bay city and moved down to royal oak area and still come here for my hair. Why? Because Im always happy with their work.Terra is amazing. Katie did my bridesmaid hair do for my sisters wedding and for my own wedding and It looked gorgeous. I started seeing Nichole recently because my original stylist doesnt work on sundays and I was nervous to switch but shes been doing a great job. She listens to all my specific requests carefully and my color I just had done looks so nice. All the stylists here do top notch work. Never once have I gotten a bad service here. The reception girls are always really nice and welcoming they hang up your sweater and get you water. I highly reccomend this salon.
