These guys quickly sorted out some brake work done by a local dealership that wasnt right. Would have taken it back to them but you know you really dont want to wait till next week when it sounds like your wheel is grinding itself apart. I would recommend this place to anyone and Ill be coming back in the future.

Went to Tri-City Brake and Muffler today apon the suggestion of Gregg from euclid auto while locating a muffler tip and someone to weld my 83 xv920 virago motorcycle exhaust and muffler together. Met a man named Mark, very helpful said come back in around 1pm, 3pm or leave it here and we can call. I declined only to come back and i am so glad I did! What a gourgus job they did! $20 and beautiful strong welds with the perfect downspout 👍 thank you guys!

Got me in same day and changed a wheel bearing on my 2000 sierra in an hour without an issue. No more annoying hum!! I live in the thumb and will try to make it a habit of taking my vehicles here for repair. Id say a drive from the west side to the central thumb is a good test of the new parts and I have 0 complaints.

Our brakes gave out while on the road. This was the first brake place we saw, so we stopped. With brake fluid pouring out all over the ground, we were turned away and told we would have to make an appointment, which that didnt have available for the rest of the week. The fact that this was a sudden emergency didnt matter to them. We were given no consideration. Ill never go back.

Locally owned by Randy, who also is the head mechanic there. Reasonably priced and wont take you for a ride on parts that you really dont need unlike some other mechanics on Euclid...ahem. Always went here for anything exhaust related; theyre artists with a pipe bender.

I’ve taken two of my previous trucks to them because they are the only exhaust shop in bay city. I wanted DUAL exhaust and the guy there kept telling me duals take to much work and just do a single in and single out exhaust. He never wants to do any work. Always wants the easiest way out. I’m the customer and I want dual exhaust, don’t tell me to get single. If I wanted single I would have asked for it. The latest time I went there because there is a noise that sounds like exhaust leak. They pulled my truck into the garage without even test driving it to hear the noise. Then they tell me my truck is fine!!!!! I tell them you didn’t even drive it to hear the noise how can it be fine if you didn’t even hear the problem.... this place is a joke. They don’t take the time to treat you like a value customer. I’m never going back. If you want a real muffler shop go to old town muffler in Sanford. They will treat you like a valued customer and fix your vehicle correct. It’s sad that tri city muffler is trash now, just trash!!!

Always excellent service, best shop in town for mufflers and brakes. Staff knows what they are doing and will explain the work to you. Prices are extremely competive. I usually like to do my own work on vehicles but the prices here make sense to have it done by the pros.
