Over the top customer service.I run on limited hours, so my wife was on her own.....or so I thought. She was taken care of by Ruben and said she was set at ease by his genuine interest in making sure all her questions were addressed. She went in picked out the vehicle she wanted, then left the rest to Ruben. After I finished at work all that was left for me was to sign. What a great experience.

Everyone was super friendly. I was in for an inspection and they were on time for my appointment and repair service was offered the same day. They were patient and answered all of my questions. I typically do not like going to dealerships for service, but this experience has changed my mind on that.

Service was fairly timely and courteous. We were asked to have the fuel down to about 1/4 tank, which we did, when we left there was a low fuel light and less than 1/8 of a tank. Where did the rest of the fuel go, maybe they could have said something?

Anthony was very helpful but not your “typical pushy” car salesman. Friendly, warm inviting and kind are great ways to describe him. Very knowledgeable about the vehicles as well as helps you walk through the long process with as much ease as possible. Definitely recommend Anthony if your going to Thalen Subaru.

Service was done timely. They were courteous. However dissatisfied with waiting area. Only burnt coffee, no snacks or drinks offered. First dealership Ive been to that didnt.. Also noticed later on reading the receipt no credit for discount coupon I gave him. Will only return if it is absolutely necessary.

Hour drive from home for an oil change and tire rotation costing over $100. Not at all worth my time and money. I will get service from a local provider in the future. Service staff were friendly and respectful! The price floored me!

I was a week early for my appointment. When they discovered it was a quick fix, they took my car anyway. I waited less than an hour and the check out was fast. Comfortable waiting area. They did a thorough inspection, even though it was not what I was there for.I even got a free car wash!

My vehicle was in service. I took it in May. I dropped it off a couple days prior to the service date, I just got my vehicle back yesterday more than two months later. Customer service in the service area is lacking at best. After one month I called and was put on hold several times only to be hung up on. I texted the number that I was told I could get updates to with no response. After that I was told that the brand new transmission that was put in my vehicle was no good and it would take a couple more weeks to get and install another new one. Okay great, another month later and I was told the transmission had come in but other peoples vehicles would be serviced before mine. Kinda feel like after having my vehicle for over 6 weeks it would be a priority, but it wasnt. Also I dropped off my vehicle, I left my name and my phone number, my husband had stopped in last week and they told him the car would be finished in about 15 minutes and then they would call. No one ever called, not me not him. When I called a week later to see what was going on I was told that they told my husband that the car was done. I said yea but its not his car, its mine, his name was on none of the paperwork so why I never got a call is beyond me. Terrible customer service. I will drive to a different Volkswagen dealer in the future. Oh and $85 for an oil change??? Thats crazy.....

Got my AC repaired at Thelen Audi. Getting the appointment was a bit of a hassle. I could only do Monday since they close at 8 pm on Mondays so my appointment was in 2 weeks. You dont wanna wait two weeks when your AC is not working in summer. But I totally understand since my availability was restricted to Mondays and I understand every Monday cant be available since other people might have booked already. So thats on me as well.Otherwise, I am more than happy with my experience at Thelen Audi. I have had car service done here once before and the experience was seamless. And this time around too. The staff was super nice and helpful. Explained everything well.Great job and keep up. 👍🏻

I took my beetle in for an oil change. While it was in the mechanic noticed another issue that needed attention. I was contacted right away and was told what the issue was and given two options to choose from. Im very please with the work that was done and with the treatment I received from the service department.

I always have a good experience when I go to Thelen Service for my Volkswagen Tiguan! I feel they are honest with me about the necessary repairs/maintenance in my vehicle, the prices are reasonable and I really really appreciate the complimentary shuttle. My car was going to take about 3-4 hours so they got me home in the tri cities area and I picked up my car the next morning. Everyone is very friendly and they all take the pandemic seriously. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else!

EDIT: After receiving an e-mail from Mr. Thelen explaining what happened, I am revising my review. There was a misunderstanding about the brakes and filters, and I ended up being misinformed. Thank you for your transparency.My husband & I own a 2017 Subaru Legacy that our son drives for work. Our son recently took the car in for an oil change & inspection. The service department not only tried to up-sell a tire rotation (that’s free at a nearby tire shop) they told him he needed the interior filters replaced (which were done by my husband recently) AND replace the rear brakes ASAP. They provided quotes for OEM and non-OEM parts and our son told them that he’d get with us about it because he’s a college student who can’t really afford major work.My husband ordered new brake pads & rotors and started to help our son change the pads, along with 2 other guys who regularly work on their vehicles. They held the current brake pads up to the new ones and found that the current pads still had plenty of wear on them! We plan to keep the parts since the brakes will need to be replaced, eventually.I DO NOT appreciate your service department trying to rip off our son for their own gain. You must have assumed that he wouldn’t know any better. Thankfully we have family & friends who do. We plan to take our business elsewhere from now on. Shame on you, Thelen Subaru Service Department.

Anthony at Thelen Subaru was so good to us through the entire process! He walked us through step by step, kept us informed, told us what to expect, and answered all of our questions. Steer clear of this location. Very small lot- they share a parking lot with a bowling alley, so inventory is lacking. We were greeted by Zack and said we were interested in learning about Subaru. He instantly shot down our request to see an Outback; saying these are only for old people and I dont sell to anyone under 40. He handed us keys to test drive without any explanation of the vehicles features. When we came back to the store, his desk mate Anthony made a comment and instantly walked out the door. It was obviously about us since Zack said he didnt know you guys were still hear, ignore you heard any of that.Complete lack of respect. They instantly lost a sale. Dont waste your time here. We had a much better experience at the Grand Blanc location

Trying to get recall work done was next to impossible to schedule. It took 7 phone calls leaving messages, Subaru of America trying to and also not getting anyone to answer the phone, and filling out the online form. Once in the service staff was fine.Also their own website hours for service are currently wrong. They are only open until 5pm not 5:30pm.

Worked with Thomas for over two years before I bought my Forester, emailed questions on and off and always received a prompt and helpful reply. I never felt pressured. Drove off with my new car today, not only thrilled with the car, but very happy with the purchasing experience as well.
