The salespeople at this store shouldnt be anywhere near human beings in a retail environment. I go to pick out two new phones, and the first problem comes through==> unlike the other stores in the area, these guys are only letting you in, one-on-one with a salesperson. They took my name, put us in a queue, and said we would be waiting about 40 minutes in the parking lot. I honestly didnt want to wait, but, wait we did. This was going to be my daughters first phone. It was supposed to be a good time. When it got close to closing time, I went to the door to talk to the next salesperson to come out. Long story short, we never got seen and both reps I talked to didnt give one care, no apology, no reschedule, no nothing. We have been with Verizon for 16 years and have stayed loyal due to their customer service. This store does not care about customer service at all. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!! Find another carrier or drive to Kalamazoo.

Always get great help at this particular location.... since it first opened.... and as a matter of fact, I went there looking for better customer service after so many issues in Marshall. The reason I give them a star is because I cannot give them less, the worst place in the world, my family and I waited for 4 hours for a seller to help us, when our time finally came they sent us to at & t to get a pin transfer to continue with our numbers and guess what happened? We didnt need that pin at all and we lost our place in line after 2 hours waiting, the wait started again, after 2 more hours with no one even turning to look at us we decided to leave without any attention 4 hours of our Sunday completely lost the worst customer service we will never return to this store

Was there for an hour to upgrade my phone, I had to do part of thier job because they was all hiding in the back, and then they wont let me upgrade thier phone they care NOTHING about the customers only your pocket book... so please go somewhere else if you want better customer service, they dont care about anyone!!!

Got 10+ samsung and cordless charger and case when got home he put screen saver and I told him didnt want a screen saver that was $50 and tore off through it away because i thought it the factory cover and he did put recite in the bag I willnever from there ever again when pad there commission at your expense and trade was suppose to be $200 it was $50 so dont trust what they check recite

Recently switched our family to Verizon and couldn’t have had a better experience. The sales rep, Stephon, was phenomenal. I was expecting to have a larger bill switching from Sprint to Verizon but I was ok with this because I knew the reception was much stronger. However, Stephon was able to get discounts for us, including having us put the account in our business name and we actually saved money. There was a decent wait to get into the store since they are short staffed but I was ok with waiting. They mentioned I could always make an appointment to help avoid long waits. So I will be doing that in the future. Also watched an employee deal with a customer that was extremely rude because he was upset that you wait in your car until you are messaged to come into the store. I don’t get why people are so shocked that this is the new norm, especially since we are in a PANDEMIC and so many places are short staffed. I wish everyone did business like this location. And I will continue to do business at this location. Great job guys. Keep up the great work!

I switched to Verizon in April 2020. There was a promotion that if you bring in your device, you get a $250 visa gift card. In addition they offered if I open a new line on a family plan, you get a free iPhone 7. So I transferred in, and opened 2 new lines. Upon activation, there was some sort of technical situation, and Verizon set up a new account number. From there everything seemed okay. Until I got a credit alert saying I am in collections from Verizon. Called the collections division, was told I owe them $1200 for equipment. Spoke to the recovery department 5 different times, and then spoke to Customer care that many times. Was hung up on many other times. Customer care said they would situate it with the recovery department. Next month, my collection was back in my report. Just spoke with a Supervisor in recovery, they determined I have to actually pay for the phones, even though they were on promotion. I’m going to have to come up with the 1200, and then I’m going to get legal advice on this. Verizon lied to me on the promotions, are making me pay for 2 phones that were supposed to be free, and never sent the 250 visa gift card. Customer care lied about resolving the issue with the recovery department as well. I have my initial contracts, showing proof of their multiple lies. One final note, I never authorized an account change, of which created this issue. All lies, and deceit. Not to mention undue financial and emotional stress for me and my family, plus unnecessary predatory collections on my credit report.

Best service in the industry, and I have used all of the big four. Store is limited to what they can do at this moment, which is understandable based on the state of the country. They require/enforce the state wide law to wear a mask, unlike other businesses around. One thing I’d recommend for anyone reading this, they won’t transfer your information. Which I don’t blame them. Last time I did upgraded my galaxy phone there, it took nearly two hours for them to transfer over 25 gigawatts of information. It they do they now of days, we’d all be waiting forever based on the new laws limited the amount of people in store. They do the best they despite being limited. Oh, and Chris is a hunk.

Need to do a screen repair and Battle Creek does not have a site in town for this. You have to mail it it in and be with out a phone for a week. Kalamazoo has a walk in option. This is the closest for screen repairs. Will check that location out. Claim was easy to setup, too just a few minutes.

Dont waste your time here. I went to add a line and upgrade yesterday but was greeted at the door and couldnt talk the girl into selling me a new line and phone. She encouraged me to wait until the new I Phone comes out. I called to speak to the manager to find out if they were interested in doing business but was told I couldnt talk to one unless I told the entry level guy who had no control and makes zero important decisions there what the issue was. We were signed in and waited outside for over 30 minutes. During this time 5 different people walked up and were helped so we walked up to ask why we were skipped over. We were told there wasnt anyone waiting on the list we just signed up on 30 minutes earlier. After being told we had to wait even longer we left. This was the worst customer service ever. Completely unorganized and acted like we were an inconvenience. Ill never go back. I may even switch from Verizon to another carrier that provides adequate service to paying customers. Weve been with Verizon for over 25 years and the customer service is declining rapidly.

Witnessed an incident between a Verizon associate and a customer who refused to wear a mask to gain entry into the store. Associate handled the situation calmly and professionally. The customer unfortunately did not. Kudos to the Verizon staff for enforcing the policy professionally and keeping us safe.

I just left that store and was told at the door I have to wear a cloth mask even though I had a mask on. He acted like it was a great inconvenience for me to be there. Maybe you should update your employees on the new mandates for masks. I felt he had no intention of helping me and was showing bad attitude. I medically cannot wear a cloth mask. He didnt care.

I really dont ever see myself going to another phone carrier. Verizon has great service. The staff could be more informative to those who dont know the specifics of what you get with each plan. I did have my phone set up in the back room instead of right in front of me which I found a little odd, but I digress. Verizon has been my go-to for the past few years.

Went to the Verizon store in Battle Creek and we were very pleased with the excellent service given to us by Brandon. We bought an iPhone XR and Brandon was fantastic. He was very good about answering our questions and giving us the service we needed. Even though we live 55 miles away, we will be back.

No service we called the 800.verizon she said that the local,store could get us switch today when we got there we were stopped in the parking lot no one in the store we told him what we needed he said sorry no you need an appt just handed us a paper with phone numbers on it as we sat there tring to call the numbers couple came up and he argued with them also oh but the way we all had makes ones and the other couple during the time he was arguing with the couple 2 employees came to the door holding what he was doing he made them go back into the store so there were no customers there at all you might as well close the store for good I know Ill never go there again best is hands down the best place to get a cell phone

😡Stopped in to get a new car charger. What should be a quick in And out purchase. I understand having a system to adequately assist customers but having to wait to purchase one item with people who are there to purchase phones and assistance with using their phone is ridiculous. People who came in to pay their bills were given a priority to. Would be different if I hadnt told them what I was there for...but I did. I left after10-15 minutes.😡

Within the last 6 months, its been piss poor service. The bill/payment machine has not worked right or has been broke. No one ever greets anyone anymore, no one is willing to help, etc. It was so bad this time, I have to mail my bill in. Ive had more help calling Verizons Customer Service line, then at the actual store. There are a couple employees that are good, but they are always busy helping customers, and the good employees usually only last 6 months or less. And the actual phones only last about 18 months, and not the 2 years that they say...Im VERY SERIOUSLY considering about ending my contract, and going to a different company...

I am very pleased with the service I received yesterday from Battle Creek Verizon. I purchased a brand new Apple iPad 11 with cellular and for a month I wasn’t able to connect to cellular data. I was able to leave the iPad on my lunch break and come back with the situation handled.I spoke with the general manager and Seth a sales rep, they were both very nice and treated me so well.I would recommend anyone to verizon. They take care of their customers.

The store is really crisp and clean. If you ever have a problem, its probably easier to come into the store than call customer service. They are very professional and fast. They are good at helping you find what you are looking for and within price. Everyone says Verizon is more expensive, but I think you get what you pay for.

The manager is ok and the service from Verizon is the best in the area. That being said the rest of the staff here is extremely rude. Constantly push you towards higher priced items and no one to work an actual register. Theres someone to take your name at the door, but apparently they cant check out a charger. Only go in this store if absolutely necessary, otherwise just drive to K-zoo for decent service.

The manager and the person she had help were not very nice at all ... maybe because the phone I was bringing in to activate was not from Verizon and they do not like that? Terrible service from them both - both rude and not pleasant to work with. I have been with Verizon since 2007 and I have always had great service over the phone - this was the 1st time I have needed help in person because of going from flip phone to smart phone.

Great service BUT you pay for it. Went in to look at fitbits, the shorter blonde girl basically felt like I was wasting her time. Asked what the difference was between them and she picked up the box and said There listed all here. Sorry to get you out if your chair. ALMOST every time I go in all the representatives are just standing around looking at their own phones. Was ran so much better when they had the former manager Jen working there.

Misleading sales, possibly intentionally.Sadly our experience here was not the best we were sold some devices that worse supposed to allow us to have roadside assistance in case we need. We were not informed correctly of their prices there was some problems with how the discounts were applied to the bill and we were also told the return period, we believe which was different than the actual return period was in the end.Any single one of these mishaps would have been forgivable and probably would not have affected our days that much. However all three of these conspiring together really made for a miserable experience and very sadly feeling very misled at the whole deal.We were also unable to attain anything they said in writing beforehand which we should have known better but came back to bite us.We personally would have to recommend steering far clear of this place for cell phones and accessories.

Tried to sell me a new phone . So I went to bestbuy, bestbuy had my phone switched over in minutes .The worker at verizon was not only dishonest but rude . I would avoid this store.

Very poor customer service. I bought a new phone but couldnt text or get internet after making three trips to the store and talking to the manager and talking to tech support yet np one could figure out my problem. I found out myself after speaking to my previous carrier and them telling my number was never ported over, all the way, leaving me not only owing at&t for another month but also Verizon and having to go in again to tell them this. No one ever apologized to me for my inconvenience but instead acted like I was annoying them. I will never go back to the battle creek store EVER

Would not recommend this store to anyone. Walked in and greeted by manager who wrote my name down on a post it note. He apologized that they were understaffed and told be the wait could be 10 min to half an hour. As I stood there waiting, I noticed that he didnt attempt to help anyone but rather walked around the store with no purpose. He must be above jumping in and helping out so that customers dont have to wait. When they were finally able to help me, they told me they couldnt solve my issue and sent me on my way. The place is full of excuses and lack of basic customer service. I will say that this store is the best example of what not to do and how to not help anyone.
