I am a new customer, whom needs TLC when it comes to my eyes. I’ve had Retinal laser correction and a eye infection with loss of vision in my left eye and at different times in life.. sooo yeah!! I felt good about the TLC. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable! Not to mention how informative the Dr was about my pass procedures and that infection.I ordered 2 pair of glasses (due to target optical sale prices) and I used a coupon, @ the same price I would have paid out of pocket with my insurance at a private vision center because they are so expensive with out promos, salesor coupons. I recommend Dr Kim Lewis . She was greats.

T R A I N W R E C K - Avoid at all costs. It’s a very long story, but the short version is they forgot to place my order.....TWICE and then got the prescription wrong!! That is literally their only job and they failed me on both accounts. There is no level of ownership or accountability from any of the employees, including the optometrist. It’s a huge chain so they don’t care that I am disappointed. I absolutely do not recommend Target Optical at Siegen.

Dr. Adhvaryu and the staff at Target Optical have treated me excellently every time I have visited. From the well-thought advice on eyeglass frames to assisting me with ordering my glasses and contacts, I felt appreciated and valued as a customer. I was able to schedule appointments convenient to my work hours as well as have my contacts delivered to my home address which allowed my daily routines to continue as usual.

I was so impressed with the service here. Dr. Adhvaryu was very informative but sweet and friendly. She made sure I knew about everything that was going on.The whole sales crew was funny but as you maybe have already read, Jo is amazing. She was very honest with me about what frames looked good (which is exactly what I wanted). She has a fun but gentle way of letting you know what looks best. She had me cracking up the entire time. What I also appreciated was that they never tried to coerce me into buying more add-ons or things I didnt want. You can check to see if your insurance is taken online, and what benefits you have, which is an added bonus.

Total dumpster fire — avoid, avoid, avoid!!!I’ve been wearing contacts for decades but needed my Rx renewed. On the day of my exam, I was seen 40 min late because the credit card reader was malfunctioning (they said this never happens). I withdrew $130 from a nearby ATM to pay, which meant I could not later dispute the charge with my credit card company, or I definitely would have.My exam felt really rushed because, through no fault of mine, they were behind schedule. For the Optomap machine, I was supposed to blink-blink-blink-open while moving my head until the light went green but not so far it turned red, and after a few panicked tries I was informed by Dr. Adhvaryu that 95% of patients can do this, but I was in the 5% who could not. (Spoiler alert: when I eventually went to a different office, all I had to do was keep my eyes open while a technician gently moved my head to the right spot, and I sailed through the Optomap with no problem.)Dr. Adhvaryu told me the alternative was to dilate my eyes with drops. I had driven there and wasnt sure how this would affect my ability to drive home. She dismissively said it wouldnt be a problem as long as I didnt have anything to do for the next 3 or 4 hours. I did have things to do, so I declined, planning to Uber there when my trial lenses came in so I could finish this portion of the exam. The part where I read increasingly small letters through various lens strengths was also rushed. At times Dr. Adhvaryu asked if one strength or the other was clearer, and when I wasnt sure, she said it didnt matter and moved on. She said my prescription strengths were different for each eye, which has never been the case before, but she assured me it could happen. I was given a glasses prescription I didnt need or want and sent on my way.I paid and was told trial lenses would be ordered immediately and should arrive in 3 to 5 days. I left unsure about the exam results, but figuring I had at least 6 weeks of contact lenses left so if the trials felt off, there would be time to correct for this. After 9 days, I called to follow up on the trial lenses and was told they had not been ordered yet. I tried the next day. Again, not ordered yet. I waited 2 more days, called, and was finally told the trials had been ordered. If I hadn’t called, they LITERALLY would’ve just taken my money and NEVER ordered those lenses. After 30 days, the trial lenses had still not arrived. I called a bazillion times, many employees promised to look into the issue and call me back, only one (Mike) ever followed through on that and took steps to get my lost-in-Ohio-apparently lenses “overnighted” (ie: they’ll be here next week) after almost 4 weeks had passed. On Day #30, when the trial lenses were still not in, I finally went back and asked for a refund so I could see a different doctor. A lot went into this decision, including that the end of my week was really busy, so I would either need to see a new doctor the next day or be set back yet one more week. I was down to my last pair of lenses, so if either broke I was screwed.I asked Dr. Adhvaryu for a refund and she basically laughed at me and reminded me Id been forced to sign an agreement protecting her interests and not mine (surprise!). She told me she would never give me a refund because shed performed the exam, even if one month later she had utterly failed to produce even a single pair of trial lenses, let alone a Rx. She said there was nobody I could complain to because she worked for herself. She reminded me she wrote me a glasses prescription I did not need or want. She told me to keep waiting patiently. After I threatened furious reviews, she dug out some trial lenses that weren’t my strength or size, and felt horrible and blurry when I tried them later.I already had an appt with Dr. Wendy Waguespack, and it felt like breaking up with an abusive partner one day and falling in love with someone great the next.Target Optical is completely dysfunctional highway robbery and they couldn’t care less — avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

I enjoyed the eye doctor. But when I paid, I thought all was well. Told them Id come back in a few weeks to order the contacts. I received a call later stating they mischarged me and I owed an additional $60 and wanted my credit card number over the phone. I refused and said I would come in to pay it when I had time. When I finally had time to go back I went in and was told I couldnt pay the balance because the woman who does that is out till Monday.Im sorry, the person who TAKES PAYMENTS is off till Monday?!? Whats the point in the store being open if people cant pay?!? I will never go back to Target Optical.
