Always slow! If you’re not calling ahead you’ll have to wait 10 mins for a bagel w/ cream cheese. God forbid you order an egg sandwich...And yet, I keep having to come back bc there’s no competition in town. It’s the best bagel in BR and it’s the only decent bagel in BR. Also, the manager/owner never wears a mask even though everyone else that works there looks required to.

Always sweet people and very affordable. i love coming here for a quick bite to eat!

Everytime Im returning from New Orleans, I stop here because it is so good! The bagel croutons that come with the bagels are such a nice touch and gives you a nice snack for later. Definitely stop through!

Bagels are so good. Tried the salmon ceeam cheese and strawberry cream cheese, and it was yummy!

Updating from 2 to 4 stars. Much better experience today than 2 weeks ago. Many people behind the counter working and order was timely!2 weeks ago: Love the bagels. Person working was only one there to take orders and fill orders. I placed an order, and a group of 5 came in behind. 5 separate orders. He had to take all those orders before he could fill mine. Not a good customer service model.

If the food wasn’t so good and the owner was not so nice, I would give NYB 1 Star. I recommend this spot for the food, however, everytime I visit I have an awful experience with the staff. I have been here several times since moving here and every time the staff is incredibly rude. Today I got a sandwich and the man behind the counter was rude to me for no reason and slung my order over the counter. This is not my first experience like this with the staff.

I have visited this restaurant several times before, but today, they messed up my order.... which is fine mistakes happen..... but the attitude that came after is not acceptable.... today will be my last day.

I haven’t personally been here, but I saw a video that someone posted on social media. The video shows the cashier being VERY rude and when she was asked to get a manger she threatened to call the police because the lady asked to speak with a manger for a refund. Then the cashier flips the lady off. This is unacceptable!!!!

Not a single mask by a single employee Tuesday Dec 15 at 2:30Pm. Not a single person making the food had masks, the employee sweeping didn’t have a mask. The guy taking orders, when asked where his masks was and why he wasn’t wearing it said it was “in the car.” Literally lost me for like and 10/10 do not recommend anyone coming here or ordering takeout bc they are not being safe in the slightest.

The people who work here are unbelievably rude. they forgot my friends order and made it a huge ordeal to get her sandwich. the whole staff should be fired.

Waited 40 minutes for a club sandwich, not including the 5 minutes I waited to even be served. Got home with the order and there is only meat and bread on the sandwich. None of the other ingredients. Nothing. Terrible service... not even close to being as good as the location on Jefferson in Baton Rouge.

2 people behind the counter taking orders at the Lee Dr location *not wearing masks*, when everyone else who walks in the door has to wear a mask. This happened 11:15am 11/18/2020. Also, they did not include cream cheese with the bagel chips. Who does this???

I ate here all the time in college. I went back 13 years later, still the same. The chicken salad is still amazing and the bagels just as good!! I will say, the place needs a good cleaning ....wasn’t too appealing visually and the bathroom was awful but the chicken salad bagel made up for it all!

Service is either great when we get Bagelbro or pretty rough. Food is always good though. A very nice breakfast.

I really want to like this place. Their bagels themselves are great, but anything hot is inconsistent. Ive had cold eggs multiple times. Ive been in the restaurant waiting to be helped for an awkwardly long time. The furniture is pretty beat. Great potential, but off the mark.

Live live in New York when you can live in Baton Rouge and eat at New York bagels. Theres a lot of seating and it would be a great meeting place because its usually quiet. They also have a really great staff an excellent coffee. Order the lox

Great and unique sandwich varieties with bagels and as well as croissants. love the New York club and other sandwich varieties and always leave feeling I have eaten healthier.

The bagel and schmear of veggie cream cheese was nothing special, just fine.But the service is just abysmal… We went on a Sunday morning. No one in line ahead of us. While one employee was standing in front of us near the register doing something and the other was filling orders, no one bothered to say “Hello”, “Welcome”, “We’ll be with you in just a moment”, or anything for a good five minutes while we just stood there, as if we were invisible. I’ve lived in BR for over 10 years and am basically used to the baseline of generally terrible customer service and employee attitudes here - but this place was almost comically negligent. The way other customers were just sitting at their tables, staring at the waitstaff waiting for their food tells me I’m not the only one who felt this tway his morning! Well not be back.

2 stars because at least the food was ok. I had trouble with this place back in 2016 when I ordered through MajorMenus. They were late, and when I called they were rude.Here I am now 3 years later going to give them a second chance and they blew it again. My order was not right and they were over 30 minutes late. Never again!

Understaffed. We waited in line for over 20 mins while he put us on hold to take orders on the phone. Out of coffee. Not cool.

I ordered a BLT croissandwich and I am very disapointed with the amount of bacon and tomato on it. I would understand this amount of bacon on a different sandwich, but since it is the only meat (substance) on the entire sandwich I feel like it should have had much more. More than 3 1/2 slices spread across the entire sandwich next time PLEASE!! It tasted good... just thin.

Service has really gone downhill. 40min wait times for to-go orders at lunchtime and 2 of last 3 times they’ve been out of the items needed to make my usual order. Will go elsewhere now

Very bad service, I waited over 20 minutes for a single breakfast sandwich while I was the only one in the store.

This place is tucked away in the corner of nowhere but it has flowers everywhere its very quaint and romantic and the servers are very courteous

Its just ok. They have no competition in BR so Ill take what I can get. Bagels are a bit anemic. Bagel chips and dip are great.

I just waited twenty minutes for a poppy seed bagel with cream cheese- Not toasted...... and Im the only person in here. Yes they have orders to send out but it only takes two minutes to actually make and Im here in person.

Out of more than half the types of bagels. Out of many drinks too. Service was bad. When I walked in there it was like they were dreading serving me. Bagels were okay but i couldnt wait to get out of there to be honest
