I’ve had a dryer fixed twice at Budget Appliances. It’s amazing how quickly and well they get the job done and their prices are very reasonable. The parts and labor for my dryer were about as much as I would have to pay for a tech just to come to my house - before he’d fixed anything AND they did it all in 30 minutes!

Every time I need something fixed they dont fix it at all. Inconvenient with high prices, you get the idea. Basically, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Because appliances always break down at the worst time, and right when I need someone to fix it, they show up in their personal car instead of a company car (thats the 1st sign), theyre carrying a small tool bag (NOT TOOL BOX OR ANYTHING THAT IS USED TO FIX MAJOR APPLIANCES, also the 2nd sign), and they look at it for several minutes, making you think it will be fixed, but it is not, and they say that if it needs a certain part, you have to literally wait FOREVER for it to show up, then wait FOREVER all over again for them to fix it. Even Lowes works better than them. Get a MAJOR company to fix your MAJOR appliances.

They fixed my over door in like 15 seconds. New exactly what it was. Saved me money I didnt have with buying a new one. My stove is still new I just didnt want to throw it out so I brought it to them. Thank you guys.

In 2015 I bought a washer and dryer from them, Maytag brand, in amazing condition, and theyre still running like brand new today. The price was only $500 for both of them together, which I consider to be a great deal, especially since I work in construction and have put these machines through hell. The customer service was extremely friendly and personable and any time I need a new appliance they are the first place that ces to mind. I highly recommend them!

I lived in Baton Rouge for years. I have bought two washer and dryer sets. Ive moved 2 hours away, and Im going to drive to go back to him. Btw, both sets are still working and we have NEVER had a problem, yes the place looks like it needs a cleaning, but they are honest and do good business!

Im pretty sure the good reviews are most likely friends and or family I purchased a washer and dryer from these people and was told Oh this one would last you for at least 5 to 7 years its been barely 2months and its all just pieces of S#!% paid 540.00 for the set and now Im purchasing new appliances like I shouldve done from the beginning their appliances is just like the place and how they look LIKE TRASH!!!!!! And what made it worse is when I tried to call and see what was going on the lady had a nasty attitude!!!! Ummmm excuse me your attitude was nice when I was spending my cash POS!!!!

They buy good washer, dryer and refrigerator from you in good n great conditions... Fix them up back up and sale them for cheap....

Friday July 17,2020 Me my finance and kids went looking for a dryer . The man was really nice sold us one for $220. Soon as we got home to start it the dryer never got hot. I called the place multiple times Friday, Saturday and Sunday and got no answer. Today we called they told us bring it back and they will repair. My thing is they sold us a bad dryer and it inconvenience me . I do not recieve unemployment. I have 3 disable kids I cant afford to loose $220. So we made it there about 9:22am . The lady came out with a attitude and instantly said she didnt want to talk to me . I never disrespected her or anything so I didnt understand why she was so rude and mean to me . It was my money but my Fiance paid for it and I just totally feel disappointed and disrespected. This was a very unfortunate situation and Im dryer less with my money back . If I can warn anybody this is my honest review do not waste your money with these people.

Things to know. Their warranty requires you to disconnect and haul your appliance in. No house calls. If you live upstairs, thats useful info. The price is before tax, which is 10%, and they accept cash only. If none of that is an issue, this place is a dream come true, considering a knowledgeable appliance mechanic has refurbished the appliance youll be buying at around 1/4 the brand new price. In addition, whatever mechanical shortcoming the machine had when new will likely be fixed. If it looks bad, itll likely be even cheaper. Who, on a budget, is going to care what their washer or dryer looks like if their clothes are getting clean? Lastly, if you have no problem hauling in your appliance, they have been known to repair it for free even after the warranty has expired.

Mr. Billy and his son gave me a great deal in 2010 and Ive bought 2 more sets since then. I purchased a washer/dryer set for my Mom and it was still working until the recent flood in Baker. Mines has lasted me 5 years and Ive only had an issue once and its was fixed in less than an hour. I am a single mother of 4 . These washer and dryer sets have washed tons of clothes for me and my kids over the years from elementary school all thru high school and all thru college my oldest son comes home on the weekends from college and uses my machines now. There is not one bad thing you can tell me about Budget. I would refer any and everyone especially single parents who are on a budget to Budget !!! Dont let the appearance fool you. We just picked up a washing machine to go with the dryer we currently had. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and gave us advice on a washer that would match and last a long time. Plus they have a return policy and do repairs if something happens after that. I highly recommend and will be returning in the future.

I wanted to make sure that everyone knows about Budget Appliance. They have GREAT customer service. I was in the market for a front loading washing machine and dryer, and found a great used pair at their shop, with pedestals for less than the cost of one new one, without pedestals. After about 6 months the washer wasnt working quite like it had been. They picked it up, fixed it in a day, and returned it the next day. All at no charge, even though I was well beyond the 90-day FREE repair period. Im pleased with the quality of their products and work, and would recommend them to anyone!

This place is excellent! Their customer service is unmatched in the industry. I bought a dryer here and had the thermostat go out about 2 months after. I brought it back up there and they repaired it at no cost, under warranty, even though I didnt have the receipt or warranty paperwork with me. The date I purchased it was written on the back of the unit, so they acknowledged that it was still under warranty. You dont see that kind of service any more. Good Job!!!

Refrigerator in one of our apartments was not working, took it here thinking I would trade it in on a reconditioned one, was prepared to spend $200 or more. They asked what was wrong, checked it and had it repaired in less than an hour. Cost, under $100.Highly recommend this company.

Girlfriends Maytag Refrigerator hasnt been working since Hurricane Gustav.Took it to a repair shop and the guy wanted $800.00, but if she wanted to get rid of it then hed takeif off her hands for free.Took it to Billys Business on N. Foster and Fixed the thing for $75.00.Honesty and a genuine interest in wanting to help.There is no better place to bring your business.

I’m unsure of what to rating to give them. Let’s begin... When I first pulled up I thought the refrigerators outside were for scraps— but no. 😳 I personally think it’s unsanitary to have refrigerators outside and that alot of their practices are unsanitary— but to each it’s own. With their unsanitary practices, the appliances are taxed and priced $200+. Not to let anyone down without giving them a hand to lift them up, I’m going to finish with saying the younger guy has a nice attitude and is straight to the point. 👍🏾

Been searching for a couple of weeks for a replacement washing machine since mine broke at a reasonable price. Came to budget Appliance explain the situation I have five kids and I cant afford to have a washing machine go down its cost me almost $100 to go to the laundromat 2 times in 2 weeks to wash clothes I could have almost bought the washer here instead of going to the laundromat Alice concerned about two different models and I asked them their opinion which one would be better and they recommend at 1 and they wasnt trying to upgrade me for the price either just dependability.. I will be back in a couple weeks to buy a stainless steel refrigerator from budget Appliance and after talking to the owner hes been in this location in business for over 40 years and that says a lot...... especially nowadays its hard to find somebody thats honest and gives you their true opinion...... and I forgot to mention that the washer comes with a 3 month parts and labor warranty anything goes wrong within three months and gets repaired for free and if you keep your receipt no matter how old or how long its been there discount you on a repair or next purchase at there business location...... will definitely be back. thanks again

I was looking for a washing machine I came across Budget . They seemed to have used washers in my price range. I checked some reviews that I came across on yellow pages and on Merchant Circle. Decent reviews. They said washers started at $80.00. So I went there. They even asked me what was wrong with my old one. I noticed that the washers had $100.00 are more on them. They asked me if I found anything that I liked? I told him I did but it was out of my price range. That I was looking for a washer around $80.00. He asked me which one I liked. I showed him the one that had the $100.00 on it. He took it off and told the woman to write it up for $80.00.. I thanked him again. I had just moved and everything was dirty. My washers has been going almost day and night for 3 days now. Thank you so very much. I know where to go next time.

I Called several times, one time he answered and told me to hold and no one ever clicked back over. I hung up and called back with no answer. I guess they were too busy to accept any new business. Off to Arrons
