I had already a good experience in this Home Depot because the employees are wonderful. But it was even better in the aftermath of hurricane Ida. I was so desperate because I needed a generator, they were out of generators already, but I asked for help and the employees helped me get what I needed to get a generator running and answered all my questions.I really think that administration of this Home Depot should be aware of this.Big KUDOS to all the employees you are the best!
Mark DeVries and Kevin Robinson in the paint department are true professionals who know their stuff! They made great recommendations on products, instructed me the best way to get products the store didnt have in stock, and were quick and efficient when filling my orders of 36 gallons of paint on two visits. Highly recommend these guys for all your paint needs!
Service is good but I wish there online web reflect what is in the store.
I want to congratulate Mr Scott. The manager in the store today 09/07/21 until 10:00 pm. This person is a true professional and deserves a bonus. I would also like to congratulate the women’s working in the return department. The awesome ones.
Found what I was looking for on my own. Nobody acknowledged except cashiers standing around gossiping about a customer cussing them and the supervisor not sayig a word.
I came in a few minutes before the store was expected to close (whoops, sorry it happens) and Anthony was the first associate to ask me if I needed help, he understood that like most customers, I just needed to find what I was looking for and then get out of there ASAP. He could have told me something about them needing to get ready to close, but instead kindly walked me over to look at the tools I asked for and explained their features and uses and prices instead of just pointing me in the direction, like most associates would. Because of this, I have not have not had to make any exchanges or returns like I was initially thinking! Very nice to see employees with actual knowledge of products are on the floor dealing with customers and not in an office or somewhere in the back. Will be back in the future.
Clean, but stock options do not reflect the website. Not sure what is going on with their stocking, but when the website tells me an item is on aisle 10 bay 6 I expect it to be at least adjacent to that section in some way. Not three aisles over and in the double digits bays. Unsurprisingly, lots of mask less people.
It was great and my cashier who helped me out was very much amazing, didnt get her name, but great job in assisting me
Always helpful. Always find what I want and need. Love the prices.
Customer Service was great in and cashier was very polite.
Best curbside pickup experience ever! I pulled up and a very nice last was at my window asking how she could help me before I could even pull up my mobile order. She was very patient and professional. It was like a NASCAR pitstop, I was out of there in no time at all. Excellent service.
Found what I needed. Went to checkout guy checking out was friendly and helpful. Employees masked and friendly. Handicapped parking and entrance. Dividers at checkout.
Not rating Home Home depot but a contractor that Homedepot sent my request to.I found a ductless mini split A/C unit at Homedepot. I requested installation through Homedepot. This comapny (Valentine....) called me. I explained what I needed regarding installing it in my garage. I got a free consultation apointment. I was told the one who will install it (D****) will call me. On that day the time came but no one had called ealier nor showed up. Appointment was a 4 P.M. Got a call later from that guy. Appologizing for not having called ealier blaming it on one employee got sick the day beforer (you know the story). Started getting info from me. I realized he was not coming and he is settling for a phone call. The surprizing thing he wanted to sell me a system between $7,000-$15,000 so he can give me warranty for 10 years. I asked him to email me the info. I asked him if he was going show up another day, he implied if I agreed to his deal, he would. This company was supposed to be an installation contractor for Homedepot and not to try to get the business from homedpot. How much would a system cost, $1,500? $2,000? How much would the installation cost? I have all the wiring done already. I am not asking for a central A/C with all ducts installed. Just a darn single item in the garage.By the way, today is Monday and I have not received any e-mail from their installer. BTW, I checked my junk folder so no excuse! Now I wonder how this company got 2.1 stars.Homedepot should know what this contractor is trying to do. Once I get a survey e-mail from Homedepot I will be glad to let them know.I might get a reply with different execuses, but this will not cut it. A/C unit in a garage will not cost between $7,000 to $15,000...LMAOI will look for another contractor to instal my ductless mini split unit. How should I describe this contractor.Would be nice if homedepot replied!!!
Products are cheaply built, poorly designed and lack performance. Buyer beware. Also, Home Depot does not stand by the very products they sell. Youll have a hard time with a return. Always keep receipt. If you buy the insurance. Read the fine print. Know the last date of return even with a receipt. I bought a vacuum cleaner from Home Depot I did not take out of the box for months. Parts were missing to actually put it together and it was poorly designed. The cord is at the bottom of the vacuum near the wheel base and it does not wrap or hook up the handle. Worst vacuum. Its huge, heavy, super loud, awkward, suction is at the very least ok. I still have it along with packaging. Ill give it away and get another one.Bought a ladder for roof, didnt realize the steps were so narrow until I opened it up months later to start a project. The worst. Super heavy. Although its a tall ladder. Anyways its in the garage.Bought a leaf blower that falled to work on second use. It was a second purchase of the same blower. The first one lasted a year. Exchanged it. Luckily I bought the insurance. They gave me a hard time.Bought a weed eater. The worst.Bought an ice machine. It just stop working after 6 months or so. Its still sitting on my kitchen counter. I really liked it. Really disappointing. May get it serviced or just buy another one.I can go on....The workers at Home Depot are clueless. They dont know a thing about construction, plumbing, equipment, zero.Customer service is horrible. Nice is one thing. To be ignorant and clueless of the very products and services you sell is insane and a huge loss to the customer.Afraid to buy again. I need a lawn mower. Actually a tractor. Ill figure it out.
Home Depot said they couldnt deliver our lawnmower for a week. So I took off of work. Without notifying me or my spouse, theylost the lawnmower I ordered, in store, that was there when I bought it. Sounds like an employee is enjoying my lawnmower at their house. A manager wouldnt even speak to me on the phone. Very rude individuals, they made it sound like it was my fault that I ordered it for delivery. Never go to home Depot. Ever. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. Not a single apology or answer as to where my mower is. Go anywhere else, youll thank me.
Great customer service i found exactly what I was looking for🤗
For the last 4 days I have been to 4 different Home Depots, I went online and twice have tried to order this Echo Edger. Just to get a call back about a hr later and them tell me we dont have it in stock but when I go to their page it would show they have 3-4 of them. This morning the one on high land showed 1 i called the lady said oh we have a bunch I drove there 45 min. Get there and it was all weedeaters which that was not what I asked about. I pulled up home depot to see where was the closest one to there well they had one it was yall. Like 6 miles away I get there walk in go to where they are located and boom like 8 of them. I walk over to the service desk and there was MR. CHRIS the sales cashier and OMG he was so helpful. With answering all my question taken time out and coming unlock the chain for me to get one. And just a very nice person with all the run around I was getting before he definitely eased my mine. I wish I lived closer I would cook a big meal for him And his family. To show my thanks. He has made it my home depot of choice. My opion he deserves a raise. I feel as if, if I would have asked he would have came put it In my truck for me beings it started raining.he has made me a very pleased customer and I will definitely be back to see yall soon. Thank you again Mr. Chris
Up and open...easy in and out. Smiling despite post Ida conditions.
Firewood plants and cleaning supplies from power tools to whatever upgrade your doing this is a pretty good place to start looking. Good inventory and fast check out. Plenty of friendly staff
Store manager doesnt make homeless people leave . They hang out by store entries and stay in the shed some times. There is trash in the parking lot. The management doesnt try to help get the community clean up. Trash behind store on vacant lot. Home li ess and drug uses hang out there. People living in storage building out front. Update. Store manager still have not done anything about the homeless people living in storage shed.
Usually has everything I need in-store. if not, I can order online and get free shipping to store.
The home depot! The home depot! This is all you hear when I shop here, because this is what I chant. I am drawn to this store. I Need it in my life constantly. Tools, paint, sheetrock, and dont even get me started on the plywood. All these things make me feel great and I can find it all here and even more.
The home depot on coursey in baton rouge has the friendliest most helpful employees.very much appreciated!
I love to shop most wanted and interesting stuff from here.
Nice employees, easy in and easy out. Clean
Employee, Sandy, at your curbside pickup at the home depot #0357 Coursey blvd was very efficient and immediately came up to our car to see what we had ordered. She was very nice and polite.
Did not find what I wanted. Employees have an attitude.
Im a regular, i love do it yourself products and when I want or need something right then in the moment, they have it.
I bought an oven with an extended warranty from this place. HUGE mistake. My oven has been broken for 8 weeks now and they cant / wont fix it. First they had no one to honor the extended warranty. Then, they dont have the part. I will never buy an appliance from Home Depot again. And their extended warranty coverage is a joke.Well my oven has been out for 6 months! Still it is not fixed. Never again. Buy where you can get service!
Always have what I need. Polite employees.
Pro service is a joke dont waste your time whit this guys
It was a Good trip to ride out a Vit Busy but the guys were Really Helpful!
New refrigerator delivered. Was not warned about not being able to install on a copper line or the 7am delivery time. Now theres an elderly woman stuck with an old refrigerator that she cannot uninstall and a new refrigerator that she cannot install by herself. Two stars for positive past experiences.
Great place very good staff very helpful and very nice stores very clean
They have all you home needs
Now that Im into garden...it is my home away from home love it...
Love home depot. Just maybe not this location. Some of the employees have an issue helping women.
Its home depot. What else is there to say.
Never have what need and finding help good luck
I love home depot they almost always have what I need
Always looking for someone to help
As always, their customer services was top notch, along with having the items I needed to do the work.
Love this place. Wonderful staff, plenty of food
Closing early when people need supplies during a disaster should be a criminal charge.
Its a pretty average home depot. The construction offload area can be a bit busy and hard to drive around. Recommend using the side area entrance.
Waited 10 minutes for someone to come and help me with the bolts. There was a vender in the area and she made a service call😊Still no one came, then someone from another dept put a service call in and by this time there are two of us that need assistance:/ But when they finally came they were awesome ♡ Maybe you guys need to hire more folks, jus sayin😊
Curbside pickup has been AWESOME. The employees have been very nice, helpful and very prompt. Highly recommend this feature if you are purchasing items that dont need you be hand selected.
Big parking lot, plenty of stuff, check website for stock. Otherwise clean store
Must be very popular store. Shelves aren’t always full. Associates cant count online orders. Took a few days more than when i call to ask if material was in. They assured me it was, only for them to keep telling me to try again tomorrow.
Only one cashier open. Theyve gone to self checkout which were backed up. I wont go back unless I absolutely have to.
Amazing selection but very hard to find help. When you do find help they are friendly but it is hard to find them.
Regular customer. Great help from associates
Had the amount of paint I needed in stock and the tools I wanted
Always have what I need! Love shopping there!
In and out fast....I like that
Everyone was kind and helpful
I can always count on Home Depot to have what I need for any home project!
Finding someone to help you is a joke! Lots of workers, but they seemed to be more interested in their phones or chatting with each other. I do NOT like the self check out, either. Shame, because it used to be a nice store.
Excellent service. I was able to find the part I needed and set up home installation quickly and at a reasonable price.
Very clean, organized and well stocked. Staff are very helpful. Overall good shopping experience.
Good location, helpful staff, my only take they always short in staff, but good overall
Much of the lumber is warped and/or bent, especially the plywood. This place is useless as a lumber yard, stay away.
Materials seemed alot higher than I am paying in east tx
This is a good one. Theres always what I need and if not, theyll look it up with neighboring stores to find it for you. Very big and spacious, not much crowding either. Definitely like Home Depot.
Got everything I need and they have employees that know their stuff.
Patrick in paint went above and beyond to figure out what I was asking for, then located product & found me in store to tell me. Really good guy and I appreciate that extra effort
Found everything l need with no problem.
I ordered my new door from Home Depot a couple of months ago. The gentleman who helped me decide on the right door was so knowledgeable and patient.Covid has delayed a lot of products, and Laronda has done a fabulous job of keeping me updated on our arrival time. When our custom ordered door arrived. It arrived exactly as we had hoped.Today I went back to get a check list of items for other small projects Im working on. Id like to think Im self sufficient, but I am not. Dale was AMAZING and helped me find every single item on my list and choose the best product for my project. They were out of a product I needed and customer service called ahead for me to other stores until we found a location that had it in stock. She asked the Denham location to hold it for me at the customer service counter. When I arrived at the Denham location the product was waiting for me, and I was in and out in 2 minutes.Fantastic customer service experience across the board.
I came in to return two items I ordered by mistake and to pick up an order I made online. Service was excellent. The customer service rep was super nice and helped me through the process. I dont return things often and I could not be happier with the experience at this location. I will bring more business here in the future.
I had several horrible experiences with Home Depot in the last two months. Our first project was a fence. Took 3 weeks to get a delivery that was scheduled originally for four days after I paid. This was not a little bit of money supplies alone were $2600. Attitudes and horrible customer service. Then we purchased a shed that cost $900. Had a bad store pick up experience. Took forever and the guys acted like they didnt know how to load anything.
Well stocked and organized.
Very cool laidback ppl
This is a great place to shop if you need to do any kind of home decor bathroom decor anything the people are very helpful there and the prices are also very great if were trying to start on a new project the value is also awesome
Cashier seemed to be occupied with other things other than service.
Went to use the restroom, on the way out an employee accused me of stealing a monster energy drink that I bought at circle k. I showed them the receipt. They never apologized. I called the manager, she said she would talk to her. Talk. I am insulted.
Received excellent service this morning.
Awesome staff and great service
Returned a few items with receipt 1 without. Had no problem
The girl working by the register was horribly rude and nasty
Love this store would be a 5 but the help is hard to find
Love the app. store and products! One of my favorite places, and prices are reasonable!
The Home depot on coursey blvd is great I know there they will assist u an any way possible..FHS
Staff is always so friendly and helpful. Will be back.
Lazy workers at this hd. Needed keys made had paged someone anybody 2 different times waited about 17 minutes .workers walk by no one acknowledged me standing there asked to help or assistance. Better management needed.
Great customer service
These stars are for just ONE person on you dock staff willing to do their job by unloading my truck. Thank you Keith J. for your help. Your night “supervisor” needs to be retrained on how to handle a client. He stormed off in a flurry because he was tired and was about to come off shift... uhm news flash, we’re all tired. I’ve been doing my job since last night as well but I’m used to it and I know, when I’m in a professional capacity, how to behave. He left, and his subordinate did the work. Here’s a thought, promote the subordinate. He at least was willing to work with me and speak to me without storming off like a spoiled child. There seems to be a trend here Home Depot. This is the 8th store I’ve been to in two days and out of all them, only about 2 of your stores have employees willing to work. Says a lot about you Home Depot.
Excellent store for all your home improvements and dyiers needs
Today I picked up my curbside order that wasnt even ready yet. I received no notification saying I could pick it up. I was in the area so just took a chance at possibly being able to get it while I was out. I pulled in the parking designated for curbside pickup and dialed the number as instructed. A very upbeat voice came on the other end. She took my information and informed me that my order was not ready yet but that she would be happy to pull it for me if I was willing to wait. I told her that I would. She asked me what kind of vehicle I was in and then told me to give her a little time and she would bring my order out. And she did. She was there within 10 or 15 minutes. She was so kind and courteous. She loaded everything for me and wished me a good day. Im writing this because this lady could have told me that my order wasnt ready and left it at that. But she didnt. And she has no idea what that meant to me. I didnt ask her name but I did look at her vest and it said her name was Sandy. So thank you Sandy!!!
Buying a trailer became a three hour ordeal. I had to go to four different Home Depot locations from Gonzales to Highland to Coursey to Denham Springs and then back to Coursey. It was a comedy of errors and a blood pressure raising farce but in the end I was able to get the trailer I wanted, sans title because that they didnt have. So Ive bought the trailer but still have to drive all the way back to the Coursey location to pick up the title. It should not be that hard to spend 1450 bucks.
Home depot advertises many different lower priced options for the particular product i was looking for, but they only carry one of the less expensive options and its the most expensive of those options. At least they carry one. But I still spent 40 dollars more than I could have had they carried the lesser expensive one. All of these types of home improvement stores do it. Advertise something at a lower price but then not have it when you get there in hopes you will buy the more expensive one. Its inherently dishonest
Great Place..
Always well stocked and employees are friendly and helpful.
NONE of the workers ever offer any help. They will walk right past you while you are clearly lost. While checking out yesterday, the cashier had the ugliest attitude and clearly didn’t care to be working. Appreciate your job as many people have lost theirs. The name on receipt is listed as “Valencia”...Stop being rude to your customers for no reason, it only shows a true reflection of yourself.
