Ok, I want to start by saying, this is a mini storage facility so take it for what it is. Beyond that, the security is actually really good. The flip side is, we had to use this place because of one of those life situations that require you to make quick changes. This health thing has had that impact on many people. So we overpaid month by month to store our stuff, not because the facility rips you off... That wasnt our experience. Just because life hit. Anyway the initial manager, Jarrod... Wasnt our favorite employee. However, the fellow covering for him when we finally got our stuff out was cool and helpful. Even taught us some facts about the company. He was really accommodating also. The facility is kept mostly clean and orderly. I did notice poison traps when we cleared our unit out. So theres some type of rodent issue.
I was told I would get a free month of storage if I rented a truck from them which would have saved me $200. This was not true and I was not able to redeem the offer. I will be using other trucking and storage facilities for my businesses going forward.
Was exceptionally surprised by the friendly service here. I dont expect great service at a U-Haul, but obviously the owner of this branch really cares about customer service. The young man who helped us had a great attitude and took the time to clean out our truck because the last person did not. He also offered us free waters before we left.Clean but cluttered inside.
I am giving this place one star because it is not possible to give it negative Stars. Worst customer service ever. Stopped in 3 weeks ago to reserve a space offered to leave a deposit was told it was not necessary. Today I went in to finalize the transaction and was told the space that I had reserved was no longer available but was given another one in a different building. After filling out the paperwork I went home loaded up my car and came back to find the code that I had selected and which had supposedly been entered that morning was not valid and I could not get in. So I had to go to talk to the employee working there who issued me a temporary code. After going in a second time and finding the unit that was supposedly assigned to me I found there was already a lock on it so I had to go back out to the employee area again and tell her this. She went back and found out that this was not one of their locks but it was a customer lock which meant that the space which I had been assigned that day earlier was already being occupied by someone else. I should also point out that the employee told me that apparently the unit that I had been assigned was occupied and the person occupying it had not paid rent for a total of 5 months and they were just figuring that out today. And then to top it off I was told they had no more spaces available in the size that I had requested. Keep in mind that I had made a point of reserving this space 3 weeks earlier only to be told there was nothing available today. The employee did offer me the larger size for 20% off which was still more than twice as much as I was planning on spending. At that time I told her that I wanted nothing more to do with U-Haul, and I asked her to delete my credit card information. I would not recommend this place to anyone they clearly have no idea what theyre doing the employee that attempted to help me kept complaining about how her computer system was so bad and they clearly do not communicate with one another. Save yourself a lot of frustration and aggravation and go somewhere else.
Easiest place to work with. The manager actually takes real pride in his job and you can tell. The only negative at all might be the cost of storage, it seems a little high...and they know it. Dont be afraid to ask for a discounted rate. It may not be much...but I would trust storing my things here again, before most other places. For truck rentals, I would always go here first.
Very disappointed with my recent experience at this location. Reserved a truck a month in advance for a one way trip. Didnt receive a call the night before with details as promised. Arrived at scheduled time only to be told that UHaul was slammed and no truck was available. The staff was not a bit sympathetic or accommodating. Finally an available truck was located at an autobody shop that was closed. I traveled 25 minutes to the location, uploaded my license, confirmed that I was at the location, typed in my credit card information, had UHaul call two family members to confirm my identity and was finally texted the code to remove the lock to get the truck keys. All of this was while standing alongside a busy road in some random part of St. Louis. Planning to use Ryder in the future.

I recently rented a motorcycle trailer at this place. Staff is externally helpful especially Jeany! I never rented a trailer before, they really helped me hooking up the trailer to my car. As it’s my first time, I was struggling to connect my car wiring to the trailer. Jeany even provided me toolset and helped me find wiring in the car. I definitely recommend this place for any rentals. Great place! Great staff, overall great experience!
This location seems to always be well stocked. Fast check ins and even faster drop offs. Took about four minutes to detach and leave.

They always park moving vehicles to close to the entry/exit gate allowing for only 1 way of travel shared in both directions. Very difficult to exit if you need to put in pass code. Also, difficult to safely see around corners when driving b/c of all the trucks. I have mentioned numerous times, they rectify it briefly & then do it again.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED LOCATION!!!! I can honestly not say enough kind words about the staff and the Management that operate this UHaul location. Jared (General Manager) at this location is incredibly friendly, kind and concerned about your needs from the moment I walked in to reserve and eventually rent a 20’ moving van. The main office is filled with nearly any moving supplies that I could possible think of and is very clean to boot! The rental process was made very smooth by the support staff and they were very knowledgeable with any questions that I had. As I said before, we rented a 20’ UHaul moving vehicle on April 25, 2020, the vehicle was clean and very good shape! The move went fine and returning the vehicle was a very easy process. I have to also add that we did have a slight issue during the rental but again, Jared (GM) stepped up and helped us sort through the issue with flying colors! Once more, I cannot thank Jared and the staff enough for all their help and assistance during the whole rental process and I HIGHLY recommend this location for your rental, moving and storage needs. Good job!
Terrible customer service!! Very unfriendly, and cold; except for 1 guy, not the manager though. They are sooo inconsiderate, gave me the most expensive rate, and charged me almost $300 for a 20ft box truck just 1 day use. I really feel ripped off! They are the worst branch ever!
I have been to this location numerous times. EVERY time there have been problems. It takes them way too long to get you in and out. There seems to always be new staff working there who don’t have a clue how to get anything done.Today I was there for an hour and twenty minutes trying to rent a trailer. The clerks went through the computer process four times, and were still unable to complete what should have been a simple task! It was so bad that I left with nothing.Avoid This Location if at all possible!!!!!I went a few miles away to UHaul of Ballwin and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. They are much more knowledgable and efficient there.
The staff were amazing. Jarad, the manager went out of his way to assure we had the best possible service. Judy was great too when we returned the truck. Thank you!
Rented a van, it was new, with 56 miles on it. Back up camera was a big help, actually a must have. Got great gas mileage. The staff was friendly, helpful, explained process well for rental and its return. Great service by staff. Clean facility..
Our appointment was for 10 oclock and when we arrived at 10 the receptionist called the person who had previously rented the vehicle. She was not aware that this person had said they were going to be late even though she had it on file and made no attempt to inform us before hand. She had asked for our phone number though to give us a false sense that she would update us. They at least had an extra uhaul but unfortunately someone else had that one reserved so I suspect that this was only the first in a chain of inconveniences for others renting here. Ive had better service at other locations and I would advise anyone to stay clear of this location.
Terrible service. Reserved and checked in to rent a trailer five days prior. Arrived at appointment time only to be told they were going to help a walk on customer first. Then a computer went down, the walk in had trouble with his credit card. Bottom line, bad service, no updates, waited 20 mins and rented elsewhere. Do not patronize unless you enjoy being a doormat.
These guys were great. The truck was ready to go when we arrived and they added extra miles because the closest drop off location was not open the next day. Excellent customer service. Props to Jared the owner
Sandy was so helpful. She was so polite and cheery. We almost left because of the line but we stayed and got a truck because of her. Give this lady a raise!!

This guy didnt know what he was doing and an hour later told us he couldnt rent us a dolly (we reserved) because he didnt know how the computer system worked. Luckily he sent us to Manchester uhaul and that group was quick and got us what we needed in minutes.
Called to make a payment as I always pay by phone. Jasmine answered and said she was not able to find me in the computer system. This has never happened before. This is a total inconvenience as now I will have to go out of my way to go to the office to pay. The only time there was ever a problem paying by phone was a few months ago when the person that answered the phone told me to hold on and left me on hold for 17 minutes. Both instances are unacceptable and inconvenient.
I have used this location for two of my moves. They do a great job. Very friendly.

Arrived at location only to find out my rental was at another location. Claims a call was made and a voice message left but it did not occur. Owner of location was showed minimal concern for the inconvenience and lack of communication. “Sorry dude,” he said. Penske truck rental warned me of these tactics, next time I will listen.
