Well laid out. I found a lot of what I needed for reasonable prices. The cashier was lightening fast!

What a cool little store. Had an amazing deli fresh sandwich that I told myself I was only gonna eat half of. That didnt last even though it was enough for two I smashed it. Decent selection of drinks and chips etc but definitely dont leave without a sub.

Ive shopped ALDI for years and love the stores. The meat is the best Ive had in town so far. The pasta is top notch. As well as everything else they carry. The staff is always very helpful and courteous. Ballwin is fortunate to have such a locally owned treasure

I started shopping at Aldi’s (before it was cool) in 2008 when I was still in college and we have shopped there almost exclusively since. We’ve shopped at many different locations as we have moved over the years and started shopping at this Ballwin location when we moved here 2 years ago. It is by far the dirtiest, smallest, most crowded and least stocked store we have ever shopped at. It’s so disappointing. Their produce is always picked over or rotten or just gone. If we go in for say 5 specific items, often we will leave with only 1 or 2 because they are out of the others. We live less than 5 minutes from this store but because we dislike it so much drive an extra 20 minutes round trip to go to a nicer one. I wish this store location could get a total makeover and expanded.

Normally I dont leave reviews, but this is my last time shopping at this Aldi. I love the store and understand what Im getting when I go here, but it seems youre employees are becoming absolutely terrible, rude, unkind and just generally stand-offish. I know were in a pandemic and Im grateful for your work, but Im treating you like a human being, you could at least afford me the same courtesy.

Only one checkout open so long line, but didnt take too long. There was a big spill near the line that everyone had to avoid. A visiting mgr cleaned it up!

The customer service it’s very bad ask couple times the girl for fresh Romaine She said they don’t have it and after that asking for sliced beef also she say they don’t have it 😳😳😳

The shelves were mostly empty for the products I was looking to buy. They no longer carry smoked or fresh salmon as in the past. When asked why, the store manager she was not very helpful!

This is a well organized store. The food is fresh and full of varied items that maybe you have never tried.

Love this store for fruits and vegetables. Some things are way overpriced. So watch out. Get your drinks from Walmart as well as your meat.

Everyone at Aldis is always very helpful. I visit both locations in Ellisville and Ballwin. When I need help finding a product the personal on the floor stockings shelfs stops and usually walks me to the product. The cashiers are always very friendly and fast!!

Amazing prices for quality food. I’m continually surprised by the additional organic food items they offer at an affordable price. So grateful there is an Aldi nearby!

Ive been doing curbside pickup from this Aldis during COVID and the service is always great. They communicate when they need to replace stuff, bring it to the car fast, and choose items that are good quality. Store staff does the with rather than contractors from instacart/shipt/etc services. I pay a little extra to get curbside here versus Walmart but Aldis prices mean I save more than I spend for curbside (3.99 I think). Plus the produce is a lot better than Walmart.

I have a hard time finding a variety of gluten free foodsHowever, I didnt have long to wait to be checked out. Person who did check me out was super friendly, even though the person in front of me was a pain in the neck!!!! He was courteous and friendly and professional at all times!!!

Today as I approached the checkout, there was not a single employee in sight except the man outside cleaning carts. A couple came up behind me and we looked at each other and shrugged in wonder where a cashier was. There was only one lane with a light on, but I didn’t unload yet because I wasn’t sure it was actually the correct lane to be in since there were no employees. Eventually an young cashier with a red ponytail approached me and barked “Did you unload your cart?” And I said “No, I” and she interrupted “Well what are you waiting for! I’m not going to stand around and wait” And then WALKED AWAY FROM ME. I turned around to see an older blonde cashier approaching the register behind me. She shrugged and said “I can take someone over here.” And I asked “Should I come over there?” And she said “No, she’s coming back.” I unloaded my cart and the young woman came back and said “Your total is $35, you wanna know how things are so cheap here? Because we never stop moving.” And I said “Well I didn’t know because nobody was here.” I took my cart and left without being offered a receipt or an apology for my wait. I am not a mean, cranky, bitter old woman with high expectations of my grocery stores. I am extremely shy and courteous especially towards essential workers. I did not deserve to be treated this way because this young woman was not doing her job. This is also not my first interaction with this woman that has been unpleasant. She always barks orders like “Put in your card” or “Give me the cart.” She needs to be let go if she can not treat customers with respect especially when they are not doing anything wrong.

I asked an employee if the store had bagged popcorn, she seemed annoyed by my asking, she replied no just the microwavable kind. I was in line and saw the person in front of me with a bag of popcorn, not only was she rude but she doesnt know what your store carries!

Great place for most of your staple groceries with great savings. Recently remodeled very nice and say staff is always super friendly and helpful. The only drawback is usually you do have to wait a few minutes in line. Not the best place for a quick in and out shopping

I call it my personal pantry. Easy shopping. Small enough with easy parking. Great prices. Has all the basic foods. The cashiers are fast and friendly.

I love Aldi so much. Theres no comparison for actually great products that are affordable on even the tightest budget. The people are kind, the store is clean, the location is good!

Aldis is the best. This Ballwin location meets the typical high standard, especially since it was renovated in 2018 or so. Really cheap prices compared to other grocery store options locally, friendly staff who often remember the regular shoppers, and an efficient system. The surrounding shops (at least as of late 2020) have gone out of business or dont get much action, so while the surroundings look kind of run down, it actually makes it much easier to get in and out. This is the main edge the Ballwin location has over the Ellisville location, which is even newer and nicer, but can be a pain to get in and out of quickly.

Out of EVERYTHING! I mean everything! Anything you could think of that you might need they did not have, at least today as of 530! No toilet paper, Kleenex, any paper items, several can goods, frozen items etc... All Meats were gone, not one left on the shelves. It was Unbelievable!! Under normal circumstances a great, friendly, stocked store that I would have given a 5!

It is a very large supermarket. It has high quality merchandise within immense variety. Their services are good and the atmosphere is wonderful. Great shopping experience.

Since they redesigned this location (Manchester) it is much better. They have good prices on everything, nice selection of produce but nothing exotic. Ive found that the brands that they sell are actually pretty good, most I didnt recognize. They have organic now and at good prices. Its clean and the people working there are friendly and helpful

Employees are always friendly and helpful. For some reason I can never remember to grab bread and have to walk across the whole store to the bead isle.

I like shopping at Aldi, quality of the products is good, has about everything we need. If you go late on a Saturday then earlier shoppers have taken all of the bananas though, so go earlier if you want those. Five stars easy!

Aldi in Ballwin, MO has a very odd way of conducting the COVID 19 prodigal. You are issued your own clean cart then you enter the store (lately you clean it yourself, that is if the wipes are not empty); however, at the checkout your items are placed in someone elses cart. Then when you request to keep your initial cart the checkout people get a bit testy. Seems like an oxymoron. I know shopping there is the privilege they grant me so I will check out another Aldi store to see if their management has more commonsense.

The Balls in store had alot of inventory not avalible. In general I got alot of the thing I went in for. The kicker was I got charge for my 2 plastic bags. I did not lay them in the belt. They look like they have been used alot of times. It only 20 cents it just the point he could of ask not just charged me.

Im a regular customer at the ALDI in Ballwin MO. I was really shocked today when I arrived and everything has gone back to normal. COVID standards are not being observed. No one senetizes the carts and you will need a quarter which means circulating quarters. Since carts are not being sanitized by staff the replacement cart at the cashier may not have been senitized by the previous customer. This is serious as our region is still trying g to contain the spread of COVID-19. I will not be returning to the store. Also, there was a customer without mask. Also, the old staff is not there. Only one cashier was operating and she seemed to be brand new and didnt get enough training. I didnt see any of the old staff around

Aldi on Machester Ave., Des Peres does not follow proper covid safety measures. The store does not disinfect the carts, do not limit the number of people in the store and even the associates do not always wear masks. Aldi on Olive Blvd is much better and follows safety measures. I will not go to the Aldi on Des Peres anymore.

Modest, but clean facilities; mostly off brands but some of their own products are identical to name brands; prices are very good, but choices are limited and it’s hard to do all your grocery shopping in this one store.

If youre shopping on a budget this is a good place to go. the items are really priced competitively if not better than that. look for savings at Aldis and you will find it its a good place to pick up your Staples and may not have some of the higher-priced items but some people dont need that stuff they just need what they need this is supposed to go Ive saved $20 a $60 grocery bill its definitely worth a try.

Aldi has been my go to grocery store for a long time, and the recent remodel has made it an even better experience. The new store is much more spacious, and the carts have two child seats which is perfect for my two little kids. The prices are still great and the store now looks great also!

Excellent value on most items. Great quality on most items. For moms whose kids are tagging along, Aldi can be a quick in & out. Staples always available at best prices. Cant rave enough about the value.
