What a pleasure it is for me to write this 5 star review for this dealership but more importantly for Aldo Reyes who helped me from start to finish on having my car delivered right to my door step. Aldo went over and beyond to give me the best service during the process of leasing a vehicle. He truly went over and beyond of what is typical of getting a new car- he treated and cared for me like family. Purchased a BMW X5 today, and had the best experience purchasing a vehicle. Aldo Reyes warmly greeted us, without forcing anything on us. He brought multiple vehicles to the front of the store to accommodate us. He was extremely knowledgeable of all the features that our new car came with. Also, very personable and never pressured us. Worked with Mercedes as the sales rep to buy a i3 sight unseen from New Mexico. Vehicle was sent very quickly and exceeded my expectations. Tires exterior and interior was very clean and could tell it was well maintained for a leased vehicle. Would give 5 stars however the paperwork to get the title took over 2 months to receive. Everything else about the buying experience was good. Test drove a 2017 i3 and loved the aggressive regen braking but didnt want to shell out 58k. Ive owned and leased electric vehicles since 2015 and am happy to have 2 electric cars in the garage now. They make a great second car.

Both the sales person and the manager tried to cheat me out of thousands of dollars ! thankfully for me, Im extremely knowledgeable in car sales. I told them no !, Ill go somewhere else. I went to BMW of Valencia and got the same car, a year higher then the one I was looking at, at the Bakersfield location, and for $8,000 less! When your a woman people will always try to cheat you in any kind of sale environment. However, my experience at BMW of Bakersfield was just criminal.

BMW 740. So we came to bmw of bakersfield for service and the front grill issue. But when we received the car back it was really dirty. It wasnt cleaned properly. And then he  requested to clean it. So you guys took it again and didnt clean it the second time as well. It was still dirty. He litterly paid more than 5k for this type of maintenance in advance when he purchased the car. Its a luxurious car but he got really upset with the service you guys provided him. I also sent you an email so that we can work things out. I waited for like 3 days and I got no response from you, so now I have to give you guys a review.

The manager mike was very disrespectful and unprofessional with me. I was trying to buy a 5 series, as there are already no cars on the lot. i was turning in my lease 5 series to purchase a new 5 series. Mike did not want to negotiate and soon turned very ugly. He started speaking very disprespectful of a family member who has brought many new customers and returning customers to BMW. After speaking disrespectful my i chose to walk away from the deal. After being a loyal customer to BMW for years, i will not purchase another vehicle with this type of customer service. This is such a sad situation and i hope the owner handles this very quickly as he just lost 10+ customers from our family. Mike is not someone who should be a manager of this dealer. He is costing the company hundreds of thousands of dollars with just his attitude alone. Also stated that it is “His showroom” and that “We are not allowed to return” We have been loyal customers. Please address this address. I immediately went to purchase a new mercedes right after with the cash in hand i was going to use at BMW. Mercedes, You have gained a new loyal customer, who will never drive a BMW from Bakersfield dealer again. Mike needs to be fired immediately.

Id HIGHLY recommned Bakersfield BMW, specifically Mike and Gary, to anyone looking to get into a new vehicle. First off, Im not one to leave reviews but after years of dealing with Mike and Gary, I had to share my experience.Like many others, I was upside down in equity on a car that I didnt even enjoy driving. Every dealership I went to, tried to take advantage of my situation and put me deeper in the hole on a new car while marking up the rates and price to put me in a worse position that I was already in.Lo and behold, I visited Mike and Gary at Bakersfield BMW. Even before I was able to explain to them my situation of negative equity, they explained to me how I was put into that situation and how to avoid it in the future! They gave me an exactly play by play on how to safely get out from under my car and get into a new vehicle at no different payment! Let me start this review with ELIE JAMAL is amazing!! From the moment I walked in to the time I left I felt nothing short from family! My experience was nothing short of phenomenal. I originally just went in to “look” but with the combination of finding what I wanted, getting extraordinary customer service & staying in my budget I knew I was leaving with a new car. I purchased a car from here a week ago. I am out of state so I was sure to ask all the important questions for my must have options. I have everything in writing via text but when I received the car after additional shipping charges. It was missing a 10k option I specifically asked about. Once I emailed Mike Udall I was spoken to in such a degrading manner and he refused to even see all the evidence I had with the false promises.They are stating it wasnt advertised that way but I have several text messages confirming the feature is on the car.

I had a appointment for a oil change they drained the oil out and forgot to refill it with oil. Washed it and let me drive off like that. Got across town and my car and my car notified me that my oil was low. Had to drive it all the way back to the dealership for them to do their job right and put new oil in my car. I traded in my 2012 335i for a 2021 228i this week and got it HOME DELIVERED (complimentary service)! Furthermore, the managers gave me a very fair trade amount for my 2012 BMW, which helped me get into a new one. My new car was delivered to my driveway and BMW of Bakersfields Product Genius was there to explain the ins and outs of the car. She was very patient with me and answered all my questions. The customer service at BMW of Bakersfield is unparalleled. They made every step of this process SO easy for me. I love my new car, but I might just love the professionalism of this dealership even more.

Farahat needs to rethink his decision in having Mike as a manager. He is driving your loyal customers away. Mike is rude, unprofessional & lies to customers. Excellent professional service- both from the service dept personnel starting from the manager Jim who always answered and returned my calls promptly to arrange for the appt to the staff who checked in and returned my vehicle (Audi A4 for strut replacement) . They also agreed for me to obtain the strut kit and provide it to them to install which many shops won’t do. The technical quality of their work was top notch -it rides like new - and they returned the old shocks for me to inspect to see the oil leaks as I requested. Will definitely use them again- .

Luckily I called him up from Santa Monica to ask how to take the top down and he said it wontt work right now and BMW of Bakersfield has been trying to figure our since almost 2 months and no repair date in sight. Wow BMW of Bakersfield service is by far the best service Ive ever had on my BMW! This dealership really goes out of their way to take care of your car and give you a really fair price on the work. I am so happy I brought it here they even detailed my car for me when I picked it up oh, what a great surprise that was. My service advisor Carolyn really went out of her way to take care of all the issues that I had, and the service manager Jim has always ran one of the best service departments that Ive ever been to. I was very pleased with my overall experience at BMW of Bakersfield. The sales team, genius service, and the service team in charge of the finishing touch were all courteous and professional. Likewise, the financial services rep was trustworthy and easy to deal with. My only disappointment was that they charged me to remove a dash cam from my trade-in. I felt this should have been offered as a courtesy. No reason to tarnish a near perfect experience with a new customer over a petty few bucks. I will still recommend them, though. Compared to other dealers, they deserve their 5 stars.

At BMW of Bakersfield I was sold a Pre-Owned vehicle by Mazen that had predetermined issues that were not brought to my attention. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from this dealer. Upon leaving the lot, I noticed a strong scent of gasoline but thought maybe this was because they had just filled up the tank and this vehicle is a bit older. After having the vehicle in my possession for only 3 days, the check engine light lit up. Trusting the dealership wouldn’t sell me a problematic vehicle I took it to my local AutoZone to get a diagnosis. After finding out it had something to do with the EVAP system I assumed it was your classic loose gas cap causing the check engine light to stay on. After spending a couple weeks ordering multiple different gas caps and this not solving the problem I finally made an appointment for the dealer to check it out. They informed me that the fuel lines in the vehicle had been chewed up by mice somehow. Scott in the service department chose to blame me for this issue when I had only had the vehicle for a matter of days. I don’t know that 3 days is even long enough for mice to discover my new vehicle and chew up these lines? To me it would it make more sense for this to have happened on the dealerships’ lot where the vehicle was parked for a couple months during winter time, even more proof as rodents seek out warm places in cold months. Not to mention they’ll only burrow in vehicles when they are parked, NOT while in use. I will NEVER return to this dealership or recommend them OR purchase another BMW in general. As a salesman at a dealership myself I recognize the importance of honesty and transparency when selling a vehicle to a client, ESPECIALLY when it is Pre-Owned. I hope no one else ever has the experience I had, leaving me with a repair bill upwards of $3,000. It’s no surprise BMW is slowly losing their popularity and reputation, only to be known as an overpriced German machine with major issues. “The Ultimate Money Pit” should be their new slogan, as it is much more fitting!

Ordered a another key for BMW, 3 months ago. First it was suppose to deliver on Dec 15 and then Jan 15 and when I called for key. They still didnt know where the keys was. And called back and said to get money back. Wasted my 3 months. Had bad experience with sales and service before and now even with parts. This dealership is useless. If your time is precious go to dealers near LA or Fresno . This dealership is huge with lots of vehicles to see, though i was going there with the intention to test drive a specific vehicle i was thinking of potentially purchasing. Upon my arrival, i was immediately greeted by a staff member who quickly helped me connect with the person i had the appointment with. Due to Covid, there was not a lot of staff nor people hanging around. I was told that the staff had been reduced as well as the number of appointments in a day as a precaution to minimize risk of exposure to Covid. I was also informed that the building is sprayed daily with disinfected aerosole as well. With the exception of one person, everyone wore a mask. For the most part, i felt safe. Everyone i encountered was friendly and attentive. Melissa whom i met with and who was the sales rep among many other things was a godsend, making my experience a truly wonderful and easy process in purchasing my new car. She went out of her way to even help me to return my car rental so that i could go home with my brand new car even though that took time well into the evening. I would recommend checking out this dealership if you are interested in purchasing a BMW and willing to make the drive out there!

From an automotive service standpoint, BMW Bakersfield did a good job. I showed up at opening (7:30am) as I was beginning a two day road trip and the Check Engine light came on. Service advisor said 2 hours to diagnose and inspect and $169. Turned out to be a defective part and covered under warranty so two hours later, I was on my way. Cost $0.However I only gave 3 stars because of their failure to enforce the Covid mask requirement for entering the building (they did have a sign on all doors requiring a mask to enter). The service advisor wore one... all good. But a customer came inside (service waiting area) without one and I asked her to put one on. The conversation deteriorated quickly into a yelling match, as the woman immediately went political and went off on Biden, the Democrats... etc. Very ugly. I pushed back. It got worse.Zero help from the dealership. Zero effort on the dealerships part to ask the woman to put on a mask. And things got loud enough for them to know what was happening. She walked around for another ~ 45 minutes (until I left) with no mask. Disappointed that no one from the dealership required the mask indoors.

BMW service department was very accommodating, provided a loaner, serviced my car within 24 hours, and its extended warranty helped cover the costs with no charge at all. I highly recommend BmW Service department.

Be careful with the dealership they didn’t want take my lease just because I got it at a different bmw dealership, only would take my lease if I purchased another vehicle with them.Do not support this dealership.

Roger at BMW of Bakersfield exemplified professional assistance for repairs that was needed for a vehicle I brought in, and was very helpful in making sure as much of the repairs fell under warranty coverage that I was unaware of. The seats were not moving in our 2002 BMW we paid a fee in order to get them to fix them they told us if we paid additional money they would pull boil the tracks and get them sliding really easily. I picked up the car and was told that all the work was done along with a few other things to find out that the seats cannot be moved without extreme force. When we called back and addressed it they told us that the seats were not fixable that we would have to purchase new seats at an astronomical price of seven to $900 apiece for new sliders they told us that they could only put the money we paid towards new repairs when we never should’ve been billed to begin with for something they did not do. When I brought this to their attention they did additional work on them and got them moving a little bit better so that they could avoid refunding our money. We should’ve never paid to begin with for work that was never completed and we should’ve never been put in a position to attempt to get a refund which they refused to give us. I do not believe they even tried to do the work to begin with because when we got the car home if there was tons of trash and everything underneath the seats it was clear that they had never pulled the seeds to begin with to do the work we had paid a lot of additional money to have them do. I do not feel that this place is honest and I would not trust them to do any more work there again.
