Wow from begining till the end amazing!!!! We live in Anaheim quite a way out and we called to inquire about a specific car. We spoke to Jennifer on the phone and she helped us get all our documents ready and verified before we took the trip to make sure we should be good to go if we decided on the car. Got my car from Drivetime December 2nd, 2020 still haven’t received my license plates after getting told to contact the dmv and the dmv telling me to contact Drivetime and it is now July 12, 2021. Spoke to the new GM today by the name of Jeremiah and he told me I should be receiving my plates in 2 weeks. He’s the only person that actually gave me a solid answer. Hopefully I get them.

Im not happy. Somewhere along the line of being there late. And everyone wanting to leave and go home. Our mileage was written down wrong. And a week later our measly 1500 mile warranty is now no good. Because according to the mileage that was put into the system we’ve driven more than 1500 miles in one week! We marked and wrote down our mileage and kept track. And we’ve been shorted almost 400 miles on that 1500 miles. Car has an oil leak and in need of an alignment. But now have to go at my own expense to get these items done. The warranty place and drive time themselves will NOT do anything to help us out what so ever! I will NEVER do business with drive time. Ever again! I’m super disappointed. And I was bragging to all my friends and family about how easy this was to get a good car. Now they all know the absolute truth. Thanks....

I work a lot, so my time is limited, therefore the earliest I was able to make an appointment at Drivetime was 6:45pm, they close at 8--I work a sales job, so I know an hour and 15 minutes is not a lot of time. I walk in and Im instantly greeted by Jeremiah who lets me know someone will be with me shortly. Mr. Keith Jones walks up, hand out with enthusiasm and a million dollar smile. This was my first time buying experience from a dealership, so my skepticism was high. The welcoming was so warm that I was immediately put at ease. Long story short I drove home with a car and Taco Bell because for the first time in 5 years I was able to go through a drive through using my own car; Mr. Jones made that happen and myself being in sales, I learned a tremendous amount about providing an excellent sales experience. I recently came into the Bakersfield DriveTime location to benefit from their Champion program I got a call about qualifying for. Originally I bought my Lancer in Southern California but moved to the Central Coast and this location is the closest to me (nearly a 2 hour drive). I contacted an associate there Jeremiah Padilla to get some more info on the program and see if it was something Id be interested in because I actually really liked my current vehicle. Jeremiah was beyond exceptionally helpful every single step of the way. I wanted to try and get as much done prior to going out there because its so far for me and he was great at making sure I had everything I needed for a seamless and quick exchange. I drove out early and the trade evaluation was super quick. I had already looked into 2 specific vehicles on the website I was interested in but to Jeremiah and Josh Alvarezs recommendation I took a look at some other vehicles they thought I might like. Best decision possible! He showed me a new Sonata that once I took on a test drive made me completely uninterested in the car I originally came to get! He gave me a taste of luxury I couldnt help but want it to last. All the signing and paperwork afterwards was a breeze and they did a fantastic job explaining my contract agreement to me that the first team I got my original vehicle through failed to do. All in all a spectacular experience and a HUGE thanks to Jeremiah Padilla for putting up with me and sticking it through till I finally came in and he hooked me up. Phenomenal staff, service, and experience.This review is late and I do apologize to Jeremiah because I had every intention of doing a review and time got away from me.Thanks again Bakersfield DriveTime team for bringing me and my beauty Ruby together! lol

Usually at car dealers you feel pressured and just not that important but thats not the case here. These gentlemen are fabulous and awesome. We had a great and fast experience also no hassle at all. The main man was Jeremiah he was so patient and understanding while we had 5 cars in front of us and fully ready to do whatever we needed. In the long run we got a great car with great service with an excellent experience.

Outright lied too about the registration. We had the down payment then all of a sudden one of the finance guys comes out and states that the registration is coming due and we need to pay an extra $400 to register the car till 2021 of the same month. Then when we get the registration it expires in a couple of months from when we purchased the car. This is a scam if I have ever seen one. They will not even talk to me about it. I get bounced from person to person stating that I need to speak with the General manager but he never calls and I cannot get him on the phone. I do not like buying cars to begin with but when I am scammed it makes all dealerships look crooked.

Jennifer was really helpful and understanding. She made our experience very wonderful and she helped us understand anything and everything that we didnt understand. We love the car she helped us get, it is amazing.

My daughter and I pulled into the lot for the first time today. We did not know where to park as it was not well marked. A rude and surly man immediately came out of the building and told us to park in the back. We did. Not knowing how this place operates, we were surprised that there were no employees out among the cars.My daughter went in to ask for assistance. She was told she had to sign in and there was a 2 hour wait for a salesperson. The room was packed with people. Not being a shy person, she replied that she thought that was stupid and was loudly told to Get out!If Im going to spend thousands of dollars at a place of business, the least I expect is courtesy. I absolutely believe we did not look as if we could buy a vehicle, so we were not treated as such. There were OK cars for sale at OK prices, but Ill continue my search elsewhere.

Great place. Came in about 5 minutes before they were suppose to close and they not only sat down with us but they went over all the paperwork and let us test drive a few cars. At no point were they rude or impatient at all, very nice and patient. Mariana is who helped us with our paperwork she was great very helpful and patient. Will definitely be back in the future.

Just called to find out if they have a make and model of car I am searching for. I got a recorded message and waited for call to be picked up after listening to all the call menu options, then the recorder said, voicemail is full. What?!! How can you have a business and not check or clear out your voicemail inbox?? If they is how they operate as a business, maybe its a sign not do business with them.

My husband and I had such a great experience getting our new family car Marcus Dillard was amazing extremely patient with us answering questions giving us time and space to actually talk over our decision, it was disappointing that when we first test drove the car it was obviously not given a proper cleaning, Marcus was super helpful throughout th whole process as far the car itself we just got it so I cant give a full review on that end but the people we dealt with and process was extremely pleasant.

Breanne initially helped me when coming in and all their staff is extremely friendly. She helped me with what I needed to bring in and showed me cars within my budget. She took me on a few test drives and was honest with her feedback. I came in the following week and worked with Jeremiah and Jeff. Jeremiah is very persoanable and accommodating. I felt comfortable discussing my options. He thoroughly went through the car with me. After test driving again Jeff finalized my paperwork and he worked very hard with their bank to make sure I was approved with what I was expecting to pay. There was no haggling and they really took the time to make sure I would have everything correct. Went to the Bakersfield office. The down payments are based the same way a typical dealership works. The payments are what sets them apart. The payments can vary and depend on credit, the vehicle and income.The frequency of payments is the non traditional. Payments range from weekly to monthly but the total monthly on average wont exceed 600 a month. This is high for alot of the cars, but if you need a car and dont have the credit you kinda dont have much selection of reliable financing. They offer various additions such as GAP insurance that protects the loan amount not just the car and also a 5 year protection plan that himgges on routine maintenance and the records kept for such services. Oil changes, brakes, transmission fluid, and coolant are the top priorities in any vehicle regardless. My take, its a great place to start over if youve had issues in the past. The down payments they give are the low but push for higher as any salesman should. This helps lower your payments and total financed. I am not that hard up for a car right now but looking at my options. Also, any offers they give are good for 4t days. Dont make the mistake of signing that day. Sleep on it and think about the overall cost such as insurance, gas, maintenance. This location was great for explaining the process and the offers.
