Owner is a cool guy. Always gets work done without a issue. Also great on prices. Definitely will be my go to mechanic from here on out.

I do all of the work on my cars but on rare occasions I send them back to the dealership because I don’t trust the privately owned garages. Yesterday I sent my car to Akam Auto Repair and Sony, thee owner, made me a believer in supporting the local neighborhood repair shop. Sony is a great guy and an excellent, honest mechanic. I am extremely happy with the service I received at Akam Auto Repair. Soni is an excellent and honest mechanic. I brought in a Toyota Camry with over 200K miles on it for a rotational humming like noise and wobbling figuring it was a wheel bearing. Soni drove the car and put it up on the lift to check it over. Turns out it was not the wheel bearing, but the 2 rear tires causing the noise and wobbling. Honestly, I was unsure about his diagnosis and not confident the tires would fix the issue, but I put my trust in him and was pleasantly surprised. Soni diagnosed and repaired the car successfully, at a reasonable price. He let me know about a couple issues that he found, but weren’t urgent. Typically, when you bring a car with over 200k miles on it into a shop the mechanics push you to do countless repairs, but Soni was honest and reasonable considering the mileage and value of the car. I definitely appreciate the service that was provided at Akam Auto Repair and will definitely return with my other cars. Thank you to Soni and the mechanics at Akam Auto!

Sony Ji has been very considerate and answered all my questions with patience and ease. The service has been mostly quick. This place is always backed up with lot of jobs so be there early in the morning on time.

Told the guy to drain and flush my coolant since the car had been sitting for a year and coolant was slightly low so it was throwing off a warning..he simply tops off the coolant and charges me 50 bucks just for the labor and not the coolant...i know this because its a bmw and i bought theyre special Blue coolant...it was still green and dirty from the previous owner when i looked once i had gotten home..Liar. I wouldnt trust this man
