I waited many months before the proof was available. Now it is. Its the dog days of summer. Normally the electric bill would be in the $400s. Just arrived. $277. Furthermore, the house is often too cool and I have to override the thermostat.I cant give 100% credit. I also had to replace the main pool pump and sprung for the variable speed unit. Surely, keeping cool is the larger part of the equation.

Bill Cook came to my house and conducted a full inspection. What an exemplary employee to represent the company - professional, thorough & very knowledgeable; took the time to check the work that had been done by the HVAC company and provided recommendations they had overlooked. He calmly answered all my questions, and created 2 quotes with budget options, one that included how to obtain energy rebates from the city. Bill worked it all out and help me fit in what I needed within my budget. He was prompt and returned my calls - very customer centric. Jacob & Troy came to install the insulation, performed the duct work, & replaced vents. They were respectful, meticulous and did an excellent job - they ensured everything was cleaned up and took pictures to send to the main office as part of the quality check process. Heres where the company stands out from all others: the owner of the company comes out to perform a quality inspection. We needed an overhaul of our ductwork. Green Collar took out all the old ducts, rebuilt the plenum, installed new ducts as well as jumpers to all of the bedrooms, they tuned and balanced the system, weatherproofed the whole house, and then blew in a bunch of new insulation. Our AC has been running less during the hottest month of the year and we couldnt be happier.We were really impressed with their communication, the workers were wonderful, they did great work, and didnt leave a mess when they were done. Hopefully, we wont need any more HVAC work for a long time, but if and when we do, we will definitely be calling Green Collar again.

From Alison to Rob to Dayson to Matt, I am really happy with this team! The home where services were rendered was originally built in the 70s(and probably not touched up since then) and they came out to bring our attic to R-44. Sealed all duct connections in the attic with mastic (was not done from previous/different HVAC installation) and replaced batting on a knee-wall. They are super punctual, and timely. I really enjoyed working with them and looking forward to seeing the savings on my energy bill for months to come.Oh and they are coming by within the next week to perform Quality Control. Love the passion and attention to detail. Now when I look out in my attic it is a lot brighter and all you see is sea of white. Terrific company to work with!

Had our ducts updated and sealed, and attic reinsulated. They were EXTREMELY responsive (hard to find these days) and very detailed, especially during the quoting and talking me through the whats and whys.

I had insulation blown with them. Bill, the main rep, was good and was responsive the whole time.*****The day of, I caught the guys that blew the insulation on camera looking through my fridge for food to eat, and just walking around my house for no reason. I keep finding proof they used my personal tools to finish the job. They used my shop vac to clean up and didn’t empty it (which I discovered months later) and they dug through my tool box to use my drill and bits.

Adam Eastberg was prompt, called in advance of his arrival and listened to my concerns about several of the trouble spots we had along with areas of the house we were losing temperature. These guys were AWESOME and my house is ten times more comfortable. They answered all of my detailed questions and helped me pick the latest technology for the system. The did not try to oversell. Their front office made the loan process easy. I did almost nothing. They left the house immaculately clean. Id hire them again!

I had a great experience with Green Collar. They helped me reduce indoor humidity by consolidating my two HVAC units into one. The initial visits involved proper planning and design for the duct work replacement. There may be some room for improvement on the testing that they do after the work is done, which in my case had to be done twice. All in all I am happy with the result and would highly recommend Green Collar for any duct work related project.

This company makes fast, quick responses to ALL inquiries (not just those related to making a sale. We contacted them for a copy of our audit 9 months after they had done it. They immediately had one sent to me via email. Impressive.

I have saved sooooo much money from doing just half of what these guys recommended in their audit. I wish I had done it years ago. The 2 attached pics are my usage from 2017-2018 (before audit work) and 2018-2019 (audit work done in January). You can see how drastically the summer usage dropped. We did not even do insulation or crack sealing - it was all rerouting ducts, adding intakes, relocating the thermostat and balancing airflow. I thought it would take years for this to pay for itself, which would be fine, but it will pay for itself very quickly. And my home is much more comfortable - it used to be freezing downstairs and sweltering upstairs. The audit was free, no pressure to do more than we could afford, and they gave honest feedback about what the issues were. Im so happy I called them.

I saw the work on my neighbors house and had work done on mine. The service was excellent- fast, efficient, good cleanup. I had insulation put into my attic. Since then I have noticed a real difference in ease of maintaining house temperatures- stays warmer in winter, cooler in summer. Indeed, with the AC off, the house stays about 10 degrees cooler than outside in summer. My bills have reflected the better insulation. This seems to be an honest, well-organized, friendly small business that I heartily recommend to others.

Im very happy that I wasnt sold things I didnt need. The auditor came out and we crawled around the attic to check the insulation and duct work. He didnt try to nickle and dime me or convince me I needed something I didnt. They installed a solar fan and the installation looks professional. I recommend getting a consultation from this company.

I love Green Collar! Ive used the to insulate several properties, and I chose them to replace the air conditioner in my home when it went out. Green Collar is no muss, no fuss. They know the Citys energy efficiency rebate system inside and out. They schedule the before and after inspections with the City, and if theres any problem, they will make it right. We just had Green Collar put in new duct-work and insulation. What a great company to work with! They got the job done and even took care of minor cracks in the ceiling that occurred during the project. The best is that the owner comes out and inspects the project once its done.

Yesterday I removed all the old calk from the last window they worked on.From 12/1/111.0 star rating 12/1/2011I hired Green Collar via a sub contractor AirCo (who installed a new AC system) BTW, this reputable AC company no longer works with Green Collar.1. Long story short, one of the guys dropped a bucket of sealing mastic on our carpet. They sent a guy out to clean it, it didnt work. They mailed out a $150 check but now the carpet I have in about 1,000SF needs to be replaced.2. The doors were not sealed properly, I can still feel the air flowing - even after inviting them back to fix the problem.3. The cheap clear caulk they used around the inside windows has fully dried and looks horrible. It was applied too wide and thin, and now becomes a permanent dust collector.4. When the performance test was completed, it wasnt clear to me that anything was really being tested. I might be wrong here but I would think a before and after test would have meaning.All in all a horrible experience, I really liked the owner but bottom line, they hire kids who dont care about your house, thus a bad company to work with. They have a great website, Green Collar is a very marketing savvy group but dont get fooled into allowing them into your house. Additionally, I wouldnt put it past them to stack their own reviews

We have a two story house built in 1983 that gets very hot during the summer. We called Green Collar Operations because of their strong online reviews.We received a quote from Bill, who was very knowledgable, professional and friendly. The quote appointment took about 30 minutes. In general, the quote process is low pressure... we waited nearly 7 months before moving forward with the work and we didnt get any spam emails or calls inbetween.Once we decided to move forward (attic insulation, the cool aide package, etc.) the team made it out to our house the very next week. This was awesome.The crew arrived on time and thoroughly weather-proofed our home. When it was our babys nap time, the crew went out of their way to work silently, which was even more awesome.It took the team 2-3 hours to complete the work and we could tell that evening that our upstairs was much cooler than it had been before. Rob, Green Collars owner, then came out two weeks later to inspect the work. Rob stayed an extra 20-30 minutes to help us problem solve our noisy air conditioner, and even offered to personally bring the needed part to our house the next day.My wife and I were incredibly pleased with the work of Green Collar Operations. If you need help, call these guys. Not only do they do good work, but theyre also nice, professional cool dudes.
