My 2 starts is for the gift shop! Not the restaurant itself. We love the restaurant! However, at the gift shop today, my 2 year old, fiancé, and I were buying a little pouch that my daughter could fill with rocks. She found a little light up football and picked it up and threw it. Didn’t hit anything and I took it and told her not to throw it again. Which she didn’t. The girl at the gift shop started following my 2 year old asking her for the ball. I told her she wasn’t going to throw it again. A few minutes later my daughter was walking around by the exit asking to go outside while we were waiting to pay.. she couldn’t open the door herself and still had the ball. So she was just waiting. The girl started following her again Telling her to give her the ball. I told her, “she isn’t going to leave with it!” My fiancé was frustrated at this point, so we left without the rocks. Right before the second interaction, the staff were talking about a family that just left saying the daughter was wearing one of their rings and looking at the inventory to see if she was stealing it! So when we went outside, another man said they were following his kids around in the store too. I just felt like it was all really unprofessional. They weren’t friendly. And I didn’t like feeling like my 2 year old was being harassed. I wouldn’t take my kids in there again and won’t be spending money there.

Everyone who visits Lake Travis in Austin must go to the Oasis. The view is second to none. Live entertainment most nights makes for a fun night out. The food is okay. I tend to stick with burgers or snacks, but the margaritas are great. It is a bit pricey for what you get, but the view makes it worth the extra money. I always have a great time when Im there. Give it a try next time youre in Austin.

View is amazing. Food is okay, but GO ANYWAY, the view really is THAT FABULOUS. Ive sampled the menu extensively and I can highly recommend the Nachos. Stick with the Nachos and Margaritas and focus on the enjoying the sunset.

Had a blast. The restaurant is very romantic and picturesque yet can get crowded. The view is one to remember if you sit near the balcony. I think the food is a tad bit overpriced but still a good place to visit.

Neat and clean shop. The shop is very well-organized.

Five stars for the view, but only 2 for the food. Drinks are decent, but overpriced. Be prepared to wait in line if youre planning on going there in a pretty day to watch the sunset. Sunday is salsa day, which is really fun to watch.

Great gifts

The Oasis is out of the way and high above Lake Travis. The view is spectacular especially at sunset.The food is overpriced and mediocre. However the dessert, sopapillas was delicious and at $4 was really good.I would definitely go back for dessert and view. Thats it.

Sorry, but the food here is really not tasty. Yes, the view is wonderful, but that is all. Decor gets a higher rating for the natural beauty.

The service was great the drinks are good the music is relaxing and the view is outstanding!

Awesome view, disappointing food and service. (Even on a monday.) And why did my burger come with 1 packet of mayo and 1 of mustard? I waited for ketchup but my waitress never returned so we took it from another table. If u come here, do it for the view n have a daydreamer drink but dont eat. Oh and both times the shuttle driver asked the people behind us if they wanted a ride but not us...hmmm?
