Careful with curbside pickup. They thought it was acceptable to give me pillar candles that were beyond melted together.

Michaels is a great place to let your imagination run rampant over all the different hobbies! They have the gear for all sorts of arts and crafts, and the seasonal decorations are always fun. Keep a lookout for the sales and sign up for the membership because prices can get ridiculously cheap when you do. Theres really not a hobby that cant be helped by exploring the store.

To start, Kaylie(Spelling?) was exceptionally helpful, and took extra time to make sure we received the best service/prices possible. The store, while a bit more expensive, is typically well-stocked. There is a good variety of products. While not the biggest store in the area, they make up for it with willingness to serve and help find products that they may not have in stock. There seems to be a decent amount of sales on most products, especially good pricing on seasonal products after that season is over. I never feel bad about going to this location.

Love this place! There are SO many different crafts you can do and they offer classes to teach you new things. Its awesome!!

Very friendly and helpful service. Only downside is that the art supplies arent well suited to serious artists. Quality of paints and pencils for example is generally poor.

Customer service was great. Got to the register, she asked me if I found everything I was looking for. I couldnt find one item, she called a manager and he brought the item to me at the register.👍👍

Any time I visit a craft store, I *have* to stay focused on what Im there for, and Michaels is no exception. There are so many distractions! I didnt find what I was looking for this visit (yarn), and honestly I usually do buy yarn from other stores that tend to have a larger and more varied yarn selection, but I still enjoy visiting Michaels.

This review is not just about Michaels, I mean they were great and had exactly what I went for but this is about the employee who helped check me out. Eddie!! He was so great and so patient, I had brought back a ton of flowers to return (the flowers were great too just didnt work for my space). He didnt complain at all about the amount I was returning and even put up with my overly chatty self. Eddie really was an outstanding employee!!

Placed an order for curbside pickup. When I got to the store and called to say I was here to pickup my order I was informed that curbside stops at 6pm. No where in the emails or texts I received did it say curbside stopped at 6pm. No where on Michaels website does it say curbside stops at 6pm. Its not mentioned on the curbside signage in their parking lot. If this is indeed store/corporate policy please let your customers know ahead of time so we can make arrangements within your block of time. I just dont like being caught unaware when I arrive.Also, there was an extra item in my bag which I gave back to them before exiting the store. So my order was *slightly* wrong and I couldnt use the curbside option which was the main reason I ordered ahead. Two stars.

Lots of little treasures here for jewelers. Small selection but has some items you wouldnt expect. Store is clean and organized too. Got a great pencil set and sketch pad.

I love this place. Michaels is my go to arts and crafts place in general and this location is convenient when I shop at H.E.B next door. They are usually in shock of what I need but if not, they are super helpful in calling other locations. I love the staff here as they really do their best. No one is perfect but what they can do, they do. It may not be the biggest store but not every store needs to be huge to be good. Looking on the app or online helps to check stock. Not to mention the coupons. I love going to this location and the great hills location.

I absolutely will never go back to this Michaels ever again. 3rd time in there and Ive never met a more miserable bunch of people in one place. The 3 times Ive gone Ive dealt with 6 different people. The only one that was pleasant was the girl doing frames. She is the only reason I gave 2 stars.I dont recommend returning anything at that store either. Talk about embarrassing. The chic at the register and the manager (i assume since she had to get his approval) made such a big deal about giving me store credit for cart i got as a gift (so no reciepts) and the only reason i was returning it was because when i put my stuff in it, it would tip over when i tried to roll it around. So no recommendation for this store unless you need a frame...

I regularly shop here and online they have great discounts and a good selection of inventory. Recently I ordering some jars online, when they got to the mail my ups called stating my order came in with broken glass. I quickly call my local store and they were very polite and assured me just to stop on in and they would take care of it. I did just that straight from picking my order up at ups. With in minutes they replaced my order and I was ready to be on my way. They were so nice and quick to replace my order. I needed my items right away so I was so happy they had them in stock and it took no time at all.

Great back patio!! Food was awesome also!! Next time I go, I will try their beer!

Looking for a particular color of craft paint to touch up a project. Took a sample piece with me and was able to match it immediately with their large selection of paints. Good price but hard to get out of there without grabbing something else since they have some much to offer. Parking is ample.

There was hardly any staff there today. Usually have to wait to check out.

12/24/2020 @1pm - I checked online to make sure this location was open before heading out. Once I got there all of the doors and windows were plastered with notices that the location was temporarily closed.

Their district manager parked in my stores loading bay and when he had to move his car to let my truck driver in he gave the finger to my truck driver for the mistake he caused. Very disappointed in the upper managements attitude to a simple situation makes you wonder how he treats his staff. Oh and the store looks great and all but I wont shop at a store that has such rude management. Its just a matter of principal at this point.

Went there today with my daughter looking for fabric, they dont carry fabric in bolts which is fine. The only reason I decided to buy anything is because my daughter took interest in a bouncy ball. So I grabbed a few sewing machine needles and the ball. We go to check out and the cashier rings us up and my total comes out to $15.99, I a $20 bill on the counter under the plastic barrier and she looks at it, huffs and tells me she cant break that. I say with question in my voice, the total is $16 and thats a 20, she Huffs again and says I know but we prefer cards because its less germs. I gently say then you should put a sign up indicating that. Mind you, she is wearing a mask as we all are and she is wearing gloves. This girl is maybe in her 20s if even that. I dont know if she has any medical conditions that puts her at a higher risk for catching covid but her attitude was uncalled for. I tell her I can pay with card its fine but she Huffs again grabs the 20 and says its fine I already touched it. She throws my change and my purchase on the counter and tells me to put my basket in the corner so they can sterilize it which has become a common practice, the basket sterilizing that is. Needless to say I have never been into a Michaels craft store before but people tell all the time they are great. Well, Im disappointed, and will never go back. Personality is a MUST in retail and clearly she didnt have the proper attitude for it.

The service is hit or miss as Ive had great service and then terrible. The poor experience is when Im asking for an item and they think its in a certain aisle, but not really being helpful. I found a lot of great decorations here! Even with the deals, Ive spent about $750 here, 2 visits, 2 baskets each visit. I would give five stars for every cashier that I had. They were so nice with my 2 basket orders! Even stuff I had to return. I really appreciated how nice they were.

Forget Hobby Lobby - this is the best place for men who are uncomfortable in an Arts & Crafts, doing errands for their wives. Friendly & helpful staff. No bad attitude with answering my dumb questions ( I know nothing about Arts & Crafts ). They even offer expert advice & explanations.

I just returned hone from picking up a curbside delivery at the Lakeline Michaels. I called the number posted to let them know I was there to pick up my order. I was asked to wait. I was on hold for over 7 minutes. I hung up and called back. My second call was answered, “Hold, please.” After being on hold for 3-4 minutes, an associate picked up my call and said, “Last name.” When I stated that she needed to work on her customer service skills, she proceeded to tell me they were very busy. After giving her my name and order number, I told her that asking for someone’s last name was no way to answer the phone. The associate then told me they were in a difficult situation. I replied, “You can still say “hello” when you answer the phone.I would not have felt the need to write this terrible review if the associate had said, “Thank you for holding” when she answered the phone. She did not need to tell me how busy they are. She just needed to apologize for my long wait.In the 10+ minutes I was parked directly in front of the store, I saw several customers enter and leave the store. I did not see an associate deliver a curbside order before I received mine.Time for a review of your customer service techniques.

This is the best Michaels to shopping in this area! Why? Because the girls that was working there during x.mas 2018 they was so nice and very helpful!No they dont judge you by your intinacy, skin, color like the elders lady from the other crafts stores that you all already know the name!I wish Michaels sell fabric so I dont need to go shopping to the others ones.

I lost my wallet (with $250 inside!) a month or so ago and had basically lost all hope of seeing it again. I had absolutely no idea where Id left it, so I never thought to call and check. In the end, they had to do some super sleuthing to find a way to contact me. Today I got an email saying it had been found! I went to claim it and lo and behold, everything is still inside! The manager refused my offer of a reward. Such nice people, thank-you SOOOOO much! :)

Its you got everything you could want you got everything you could want from a craft store and more... The only problem is always the checkout. Half the time I end up leaving without buying anything because I get tired of standing in line there is never more than one or two registers open even if there is a 30 minute long wait in line

I went in for one item and it wasn’t a sale item but it was a daily deal item. The manager was super rude and not even unapologetic of how deceptive their policy is. I was a pretty consistent Michael’s shopper but no longer.

Extremely rude staff, especially the management. The only reason I have gone here is because Hobby Lobby recently closed and the next closest location is not close at all. The staff at the Great Hills location are great compared to this location.

Michaels has always had a decent selection to choose from, but the prices are not competitive enough for me. I usually get my supplies on Amazon for much less. I do like the staff and the presentation of what they do offer.
