My friend and I went here yesterday to get our phones fixed. Mine is an iPhone XR and his is a Samsung “???.” My screen was shattered and the back of his phone was shattered. His phone was almost $70 to repair, mine was a little more than double that. Both phones done in an hour and a half, and now we both have what feel like brand new phones! Both very happy, these guys really know phones and we had a great experience. Will (hopefully not have to) be back!

I went in for a screen replacement and CJ was so honest and helpful. He could of took it and charged me but it wasnt cracked he cleaned it up and put my screen glass protector for $10. I am so glad they are honest. I will return to repair place again and recommend them to anyone. Thanks

This is the first truly neighborhood cell phone repair store Ive ever encountered. I came in to get a Iphone SE, I was surprised they even had them, and was given a pretty great deal on a trade in and cash discount. Like a lot of people coming here the owner was super nice to me and threw in freebies like a case and screen protector with a purchase.Lastly, this is one of the most fair places I have ever been. While I waited almost two hours for my new phone to update I saw many people come in with all sorts of phone issues: locked phones, broken screens, selling products and trading in. Each time the staff was honest about what they could do, never tried to rip off the customer and addressed any concerns that happened.While big box stores always try to get ahead this owner and shop try to do the right thing. I know if I ever need another phone or crack a screen this is the first place Ill go.

Above and beyond, best service and solution that I have seen since I began trying to unlock phones since the original IPhone was released. The service was quit they were knowledgeable and they answered all of my questions.After my unlocked was completed I ended up running into some issues with my device after a hard reset. I was prepared to sell my unit and hit an issue with the unlock going away. I was able to get a hold of them on Sunday and they took care of the issue for no extra charge!I wish I knew they existed years ago! Will continue to do business with them in the future!

Walked in at 2pm with a very depressing, shattered phone and left at 3pm with a beautiful one that looked good as new. 4 stars for a $70 repair and quick service; I had called several iPhone repair shops and The Wireless Lab definitely gave me the best deal. They were very flexible and agreeable with timing, too, which was very helpful. Even though I hope I never crack my phone ever again, if I do, Ill definitely be coming back here.

These guys are great! I took in my daughters water damaged phone to see if it was salvageable. They took it apart, found that the screen was damaged and then they gave me great advice to save me money! They were honest with me and told me that the cost of a new Verizon screen was more than buying an quality replacement (which was going to have to be from a different store since they didnt have anything comparable). And the best part is they didnt charge me anything!

Very nice, knowledgeable, and affordable, my new screen is not perfect (but we discussed this at the time) 4 out of 5 stars as I did have to take back my phone(leather back kept separating) switched to a new rubberized aftermarket and it looks like new now. Overall I am happy, how happy? I took them another phone to repair.As an update I have since been back and had my phone repaired again(for something else), they did a fantastic job, it took a lot longer to get done (because they had to get the parts and my phone is not made anymore) but after they were complete they gave me my phone back plus the parts phone they bought, (so I would have parts in the future if I needed it) this is outstanding service/above and beyond and my phone has worked flawlessly ever since - I highly recommend these people!

So the hubby (not I) dropped his iPhone 6S+ into a saltwater pool and he couldnt make calls and his headset symbol wouldnt turn off. Took it into Austex PCS and these guys took it apart and checked for corrosion as well as the headset issue. Turns out NO corrosion and the headset issue/call issue was probably due to water in the headset plug. These guys didnt charge me for this!!! I have used them for other phone repairs and they were the cheapest as well as the fastest and stand behind their work. They also sell this screen protector that is impenetrable by a hammer. A hammer.... He took and tried smashing it with a hammer. Let that sink it... Anyways it was only $45. Thank you guys!!!

Cant expect much when it comes to phone repair stores now a days. In my experience, most of the employees working at these type of establishments make it seem like they dont want you there, prices to high, etc. But thats no‭t the case with AUS TEX Wireless. From the moment I walked in the store I was greeted and assisted. The employees here are extremely respectful, which DOES matter, fast quality service and definitely a good selection of phones and accessories. If you live in north Austin, South Austin, Central Austin, San Marcos and hell, even Houston. I would most definitely come here. Best phone shop Ive ever been to. And thats a lot of phone shops!!!

I broke my screen for the first time ever on a smart phone. I called around to three other repair shops who all quoted me 3-4 days to receive the new screen from a vendor. Aus-Tex had it OVERNIGHT! It was fantastic and I actually didnt believe them at first until they reported back it was ready the next day. After replacing my screen, the touch functionality was still broken. In the end they swapped out my board as well, offering me a very reasonable discount for the full service and I now have my phone back and in wonderful condition!

They messed up fixing my phone by putting the wrong harddrive in and gave me what was supposed to be an equivalent, it wasnt cause my phone was brand new and an unlocked phone. The phone they gave me to replace was locked so they unlocked it, my service provider then canceled my service cause they unlocked this phone and I had to get service elsewhere. The phone they gave me would overheat and shut off, I found out the battery was swelling which is very dangerous. I had to replace it by buying a brand new phone anyway. I waited long hours in this store trying to get 1 task done and over several days, waist of time.

Wow, this place really impressed me. From the owner to the staff, this Austin original cell repair store steps up to bat. First off, I did my research and pricing as I needed a new charge port for my iPhone 6. Although they have been around longer than ANYONE, some of their service prices were 50% less than competitors in Austin... How is that even possible.Back to the repair: I had snuck some water inside of the phone somehow which shorted out my charging components. The staff at Austex PCS performed a complete drying and sanitation process for all internal components which takes 12 hours. They then replaced my fried charging port and didnt break the bank. It was incredibly affordable and honest.The staff is very personable and I found myself in conversations about all things from yeti coolers to advice on my next cell service provider.This will be the only shop I ever go to for service on my phones. Not only will they save you money, but they will educate you on all things cellular. Thanks so much Austex PCS!!

Saved us $350. Stuck SIM card and CJ worked on it and unbelievably was able to get it out. Then said Dont worry about it when I asked what we owed. I insisted we pay something considering the dough he just saved us.Really nice folks.

I was sold a stolen cell phone by these guys. I dont think was a mistake. Things like this should be handled before a consumer is allowed to purchase anything. It seems like a scan to get my money and now I cant get it my money back just exchange. I wonder how many people have fallen for this? Unknowingly.

I actually came upon this store on the app let go. I COMMUNICATED WITH MATTHEW FIERY (however you spell his last name). He posted a picture of a nice iPhone 6 plus it was gold and didnt seem that cosmetically damaged. BUT when i get to the store to receive the phone that I had saw on let go. The phone was totally different. The phone was so cosmetically damaged it was ridiculous. I figured after looking at it that maybe i could just get the cosmetics damages fixed myself from a professional. I did try to call and see if I could exchange it for another iPhone that wasnt so cosmetically damaged but instead they hung up in my face. I then got on the let go app and went off about there unprofessional-ism, Then MATTHEW FIERY said to call the next morning at 10 am when they opened. I agreed to it but i didnt call it just wasnt worth it. I took the phone to apple & they offered to replace it with a brand new one for $329 . After a software update from the phone company essentially fried my phone I took it in to these guys, they were fast, friendly and made sure that the problem was taken care of. They event went the extra mile by switching out my not-the-right-one note pen, for the right one and giving me a better battery for my phone. This is where I will be doing all of my future phone repairs! They were even awesome with my son while we waited!

I have bought a phone from this place and had great experience. After selecting a phone I liked they got me set up. After finding some minor issues with the phone I brought it back. After attempting to fix the phone, they exchanged it for another phone with no hassle.The price is similar to buying a phone on craigslist, but you do not have to worry about getting scammed . $89.99 to repair my iPhone 7 plus, 30 for a screen protector that I watched them literally take a hammer to, and both were taken care of in just a couple of hours. What else can I say? Five stars.

They bought a phone from me that they said they would be taking apart and selling for parts so they gave me little to nothing when in fact the fixed the phone and resold it to someone else. I know this as being factual because my gmail account was still attached to that phone and all of her pictures would show up in my phone. So after having my photos and her photos showing up in each others phone I found a picture with what I thought was her number and she told me they sold her the phone. I am pissed because they lied about the phone just to make profit without having to pay me accordingly then my privacy was I faded because they felt the need to lie about something so small.

He has been in business since I turned of age and Im almost 40 so that makes it about 20 years and still around without almost 5 starsI do believe this is the best guy to go to in all of Austin

At first it was a horrible experience they placed a defective part on my phone I think it was Caleb but he was great he fixed my phone right up and had it back working

I use my phone for work, they fixed my phone in less than 15 minutes!
