Brian and his team at Flohr did an amazing job! We hired Flohr to furnish and install the flooring at Invictus Martial Arts and their attention to detail and finish work is some of the best Ive ever seen. They delivered on-time and partnered with us throughout the entire process while remaining flexible with moving deadlines. After the job was done, Brian and his team went above and beyond ensuring the initial work was not only completed to our high standards but also inspected the finished product to ensure we were 100% satisfied with the end result. Everyone marvels at the beauty and luxury that is represented by their amazing work. Thank you, Brian!

Second time using Flohr and this experience has been truly awful. Granted there have been COVID concerns, they are now officially back in business and did not complete my project for many months. Throughout this process, they were taking on new jobs, but refusing to finish my half completed project (even though I had fully paid). I called and left messages with various individuals, but received no response until I started posting public complaints. Took over 3 months from the beginning of the installation to the mildly acceptable completion (still plenty of small spots missing trim, but I had a hard enough time getting them to actually finish the flooring install).

I had a flooring project that began in March. We had tile replaced by Brian and his team. Prior to the project being started, Brian was communicative, and helpful. I was looking forward to the project being completed. We were out of town while it was being replaced, which sounded great until we got back and the grout color was completely wrong. Not even close to the correct color. After addressing the issue with Brian, he was difficult to get a hold of for correction. After some time, the grout issue was resolved. But, my husband and I were under the impression from previous conversations that there was going to be some additional assistance with our baseboards to make things right for completely screwing up the grout (and Im still missing transition pieces between floors as well). After more attempts to talk to Brian, he called me and cussed me out telling me I was a horrible client trying to get things for free. Completely unprofessional and I had to hang up on him because he was yelling and name calling. Yes, there couldve been misunderstanding between conversations, but I was taken aback at the things he said to me! Horrible person to work with!! Ive never had a more rude encounter with anyone! Stay away!!

This company has very poor to no communication and charge you for services they did not provide.Sherry is the worst. She rescheduled our original appointment at the last minute with one story and next day gave us another excuse. She doesnt tell the truth and has poor communication always trying to push problem off to someone else.We were scheduled to have flooring installed and was told it would take 3 days. We moved out all the furniture in all rooms to make it easier for Flohr. The day before installation was to start a man showed up with the flooring wanting us to store it in our garage. He stated I will be back the next day to start work at 12. We told him Flohr said you were going to start at 8am. He stated I am working another job so he cant be there before noon. Day 1 of installation the guy showed at noon but just to drop off more material and left. We called Flohr but never received a call back. The same guy came back around 4 and pulled up carpet stating he would be back first thing the next day to start. Day 2 he was a no show. We contacted Flohr and they said they had not heard from the guy that had dropped off material and would send someone else out. The other crew showed up around 11 am. They worked rest of the day. Day 3 the same crew came back and worked. We were told day 3 we needed reducers. Flohr told use that is an additional cost which they called accidental damage. Now the guy installing the floor said almost all tile work need these and Flohr should have known. Florh charged $130.00 transition strips that were not used and didnt refund us. We were told by Flohr they would bring the reducers out so we can pick which one to have stained. Sherry dropped them off around 7.Day4 workers showed and had to wait until 3 for Sherry to finally show up with reducers. She also told workers that the carpet repair guy would be out any time that day to complete his part. Well that didnt happenToday is almost a week later and job is just now finished. The tile looks nice but we spend all day Saturday repainting our walls, base boards and doors because they got grout everywhere. They made a dent in one wall and had to scrap grout off windows. We had just painted walls and baseboards. We can now put our house back together finally. A week later. They also charged us $214 for shoe bumps they didnt do. They havent refunded that either. So we are out $344 for work and material not used or done plus the paint we bought for walls and baseboards. We kept being told this person and that person is working on another job and will be there at some point. Really my job wasnt important enough to your business? Workers showed up late and was always given the run around.Do not use this company. They are not honest. They will take your money and push you off

Absolute trash of a company. Highly unprofessional. If you’re even able to get in contact with someone they will not know the answer to your question. Took about 8 months to work done? That’s ridiculous! You give your first payment and bam you’re locked in with them! They try to over charge you at first and then go with the “cheaper than competitors” prices and come to find out, they pay their workers less than half of the regular rate! Cheap pay=Cheap work. You’re much better off with literally any company.EDIT: CONTRACTORS DO NOT TAKE ANY JOBS FROM THEM. ESPECIALLY SHERRY. THEY WILL NOT RETURN YOUR CALLS LOOKING TO COLLECT YOUR PAYMENT AND IF THEY DO THEY FALL THROUGH ON PROMISED PAYMENT AND PAY YOU THE LEAST POSSIBLE AND REFER TO “pricing guide” THAT HAS CUSTOM LOWER THAN AVERAGE PRICES

Flohr is AWESOME! Ive worked with Katrina and found them to be super experienced and knowledgeable. Katrina has probably forgotten more about this stuff than most flooring experts know in their entirety. While I cant afford the super fancy inlay wood floors they can do :), they look amazing and really showcase what they are capable of. On top of that, they came in less expensive than all other quotes I received.

Terrible. After working with Sherry for over 2 months, and being assured that they would come out to my house 3 different times, I still do not have a bid.The last appointment was missed because of a death in the family, which I understand. But still, someone could have called me to let me know that no one was going to make it.What was the excuse for the first two missed appointments?

We were very impressed with how eager the salesperson was to help us, even knowing that we only needed one small room of flooring. Also, the prices were better than Big Box stores, which was a nice surprise. And the showroom has a great variety of samples. Highly recommend. An update Feb 2018 ... We continue to be impressed with Flohr and Katrina Bernardo on particular.

I highly recommend Flohr! I needed a stair runner STAT to keep my toddler safe and they made the whole process easy as pie! I was actually referred by a different flooring store who said stair runners are tricky and Flohr is the BEST! They helped me quickly pick the perfect carpet, determine the right amount to order, had it bound, and installed PERFECTLY! They even bound a remnant for me to use as a matching mat.

They have now done the carpet in the rest of the house. Different crew, not quite as awesome as Oscar and his team. I will not detail the various issues we had to deal with; I will just say that in the end all of them were dealt with, at least to the point that I felt nothing more was worth pursuing or likely to be achieved.I still recommend them, but I suggest you try to get Oscar and his team.We had to redo pretty much our entire house due to flooding, and therefor had less time than we would have liked. In the end, Brian and Chris came out to our house 4 - 5 times, and we did 3 trips to their showroom, all in about two weeks to make sure we came up with best solution for our needs.Despite my desire for some type of wood, the reality of 4 high-energy dogs took that option off the table. I said there was no way I would ever put a wood-grained vinyl on my floor and was leaning towards simulated wood-grain tiling, but the hardness and coldness of that didnt really thrill me.They introduced me to CORETec, which eventually won me over after I did a lot of Googling. They gave me the option of using my own floorboards and shoe molding, but in the end I went with theirs and it looks perfect. They asked me to provide the paint ahead of time and I did, no problems. And now the real star - Oscar and his install team. The professionalism, attention to detail, skill, and obvious concern that the job be done absolutely correctly blew me away. They spent close to 1/2 the total man-hours on this job i would estimate making sure the prep was done perfectly prior to laying the floor itself, and took great pains to minimize the dust of what is inherently a very dusty job (grinding wood and concrete sub-flooring to perfectly smooth and level).I will be replacing all my bedroom carpeting in a couple months (about the only flooring that wasnt replaced this time). There is no doubt who will get that work after the experience I had with them.

Highly recommend!

I don’t like writing this review because the person that helped me was super nice and intelligent and I never doubted her judgement. But this was a 3k investment and I want people that read this to take caution. The problem was it took so long for this person to return my calls. Communication was terrible. Weeks went by before I got some samples she ordered. Once I got final samples I made a decision and left a message that I wanted to move forward with the installation. I didn’t receive a call back until about 10 days later. Seemed that there was always an excuse for not getting back with me. Within that 10 days I went to a local competitor. They matched the great price that was given to me at Flohr and did an excellent job.

Been working with Sherry for 3 months on getting in flooring that should have taken 3 weeks, Had to go to store 3 separate times to pick out flooring, took 3 weeks for flooring to arrive, to another 3 weeks to get transition strips, lost spare planks from my house, poor customer service, called twice to speak with Bryan the owner no response, left glue stasin on new floor as of today 8/7/19 still no response to calls to remove stain from 4 months ago. Will update upon completion of repairs.8/13/19 @12:04pmI have called all 4 extinction at Flohr all go to Sherrys voice mail are no one answers and you leave voice messages. I left voice messages for Byran the owner to call me back this is very poor business practices. I have damages to my floors and warranty work but no workers. Im still waiting on the owner, seeing that I cant get any help from the employees. MORE TO COME!

I guess I cannot trust your installers. My house was quoted to be done in one day. At the end of the first day, still 10-15% work remained unfinished. I was still okay with it. I told the folks to come back today (Saturday) morning at 9am and finish it quickly. They came in on time. The main installer then sneaked out by leaving 2 inexperienced folks at my house to just wait around. Only 4 hours later, I found out that the installer had sneaked out. He apparently had gone to setup the job in another home. Really? Who the **** makes decisions like this? I am sure the installer did not make the decision. Some else in your company told him to go to the other house to install.Nothing more has been done in my house and it is 2pm on Saturday. I think you took me for a ride. This is ridiculous. I was told my work will be finished yesterday. Now we are 5 hours into today and no work is being done. If someone was working and still it is not finished, I would have at least understood. But you have two guys here who do not know anything about carpet(not their fault) and waiting for the installer to come from the other job. Is this how you manage work? Give me a break? I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.Now I know the reason you want the whole money upfront. That way there is no accountablility. I hate what you did to me. I really hate it. You screwed up our entire Saturday. We have a family that lives in this house. You forgot that. Shame on you! Those of you in charge of decision making at your company is responsible for this mess and juggling of jobs. I am not faulting the hard working laborers. You take advantage of me and you take advantage of them. Shameful. Shameful

I hired Brian Pousson with FLOHR multiple times, starting several years ago and I am surprised I have not submitted a review of his great work until now. Brian installed all the flooring, shower and tub surrounds and kitchen backsplash walls for a guest house several years ago. That was when I first noticed his attention to detail. As an example, the backsplash line in the kitchen was not up to his level of acceptance and he made his guys remove and correct it, even though I could not tell it was off a little. The next project he completed for us was a full master bathroom remodel where they removed a heavy bathtub and replaced it with a walk-in shower. The tile shower walls and flooring looked great - what a difference that made! His design worked with the existing plumbing and drain lines but improved the look and feel 500%.Our most recent project was to replace the carpet in a game room. The commercial grade carpet was a perfect choice for the high foot traffic and occasional spills from my kids and their friends. All in all, I highly recommend Brian and his team at FLOHR for any flooring, backsplash or bathroom remodeling projects.

Over the years, weve spend over $20K on Flohr from wood floors on DIY projects. Recently, we wanted to put tiles on the upstairs bathroom and change the stairway and hallway carpet. After getting several quotes from local companies, Flohrs quote came up to be highest, but we thought that since weve been doing business with them, we will still give them the opportunity this time.We paid full amount 6 weeks before the scheduled installation date. Prior to the installation date, no one called to confirm the installation. On the first installation day, no one show up at promised time 9:00am. We called Flohr and found out no one was scheduled on that day, and they have to call someone else to come in to do the job. Finally someone showed up after noon. The tile installer started to work immediately, but seem to rush the work and completed well into the evening after 8pm. Immediately after he left, we found that one of the tile that he installed was chipped. Fortunately, he left a spare tile and the chipped tile was on the edge of the floor. We pried the chipped tile up and replaced it before the cement cured. The tile installer came back to do the grout next day. We showed him the chipped floor that he installed, he did not say anything just shrug off his shoulders. After he finished the grout, we found that the grout was applied too low that when you walk on the tile with barefoot, you can feel the sharp edges of the tile.Next day, when the site supervisor Ricardo came to inspect the carpet installation, we showed him the problem with the tile grout and a drop between the tile and wooden floor. He agreed to both issues and said that he will talk to the office and will have someone come to take care of both issues. First time we scheduled, no one showed up. We called Ricardo and schedule another appointment next day, no one show up. On the third time, Ricardo promised that he will personally come on next day, he did not show up. We wasted 3 days waiting for them to show up.This is when we called their sale James, and he said no one else from Flohr knew about these issues. Instead of taking care the problem for us, he ask us to call the scheduler Katrina. Called Katrina and she said she that she did not know about these issues, but will look into it and get back to us. Katrina never got back to us, but about an hour later, an young man showed up at the door with a bucket, and started to work on the grout. He finished in less than an hour. When he left, the floor was all wet that we did not suspect of any problem. After the floor dried, we found that he did not do much to improve the grout height but instead wiped the grout residue all over the tile surface. The tiles are now covered with grout gunk that cannot be easily cleaned with wet sponge. We highlight these issues again to James, and no one responded back nor apologizes for the issues that we had. They dont care about the issues that theyve created, and they show no interest in resolving them. Several promised to have someone come to take care of the transition still unanswered.Until now, 3 weeks after installation, the tile floor is still left unfinished. Instead of waiting for their response, my wife and I are scraping off the grout gunk on the tile one by one.In addition, weve also asked them to provide a formal Sales receipt, they insist that they WILL NOT provide one stating to the statement that our (project) agreement is your receipt

I hired Flohr to replace all of the carpet in our home. The products they offer are decently priced and fantastic quality. I couldnt be happier with the engineered hardwood they installed for us. The only things which I didnt give them full marks on was service, and that was for two reason. First, they estimated the work would take one day, and it actually took almost two full days (part of this was due to some unexpected work that came up with the house, but it still took quite a bit longer than quoted. Also, after replacing the floorboards, the installer didnt finish putting grout down to fill in gaps between our existing tile and the newly installed floorboards. We had to go in and do this ourselves. Not a huge deal, but also not perfect. I would definitely recommend them regardless and would use them again.
