Update, Disclaimer: I was offered a free tile cleaner for doing this review and even after following up they never sent it to me. It put a sour taste in my mouth despite originally being happy with the service. Feels bad to be stood up. Im sure they would have given it to me in store but they said they would mail it and the store isnt a convenient drive for me and not worth it.We walked in to the William Cannon show room one weekend after visiting a competitor in south park Meadows and immediately felt in a more professional place. Guillermo was extremely helpful understanding all costs and options and used our sketch to create an initial quote for our kitchen counter tops in San Marcos. There was some confusion on a scheduled visit to the warehouse to see and select a specific slab so it was a bit of waste of time for us but thankfully all of the slabs for our style were equally beautiful. They demoed our existing tile counter top on day 1 and uncovered supports that were not level which became a surprise fix i was required to make before they returned with that counter top the next day. During the demo they left a decent gash in the drywall but fortunately I was in already in the process of patching the drywall from the backsplash I removed myself. Were still working on doing our own backsplash but the tile counter top came out better than expected. It had one less seam and the two main pieces are perfectly aligned from the giant slab. I would recommend JL Cabinet & Granite.

Guillermo and the team at JL were quite responsive to our needs, listening to our ideas and offering suggestions. Delivery and installation happened on time, as specified. Although the cabinet options are not numerous, the quality (we ordered a medium quality) is decent. The price was more than half what custom cabinets would have cost (without the counters!) Solid wood, smooth fixtures. Installation crew was friendly and efficient. Cleaned up nicely afterwards. Very happy with the new kitchen.

Very pleased with Maria (sales consultant), Jay (home measure visit), and Raymundo ( lead installer &fabricator) of my Quartz countertops.Maria went above and beyond to help me select my stone, answer all my questions and lead me thru the entire process. Jay was also very helpful and answered all questions during the home measure.Raymundo and team removed old countertops one day and finalized the templates, then returned the next day and installed my beautiful new quartz countertops. The Staff is more than excellent. We picked middle grade Shaker cabinets and we are more than please with quality and appearance. The Installers were very experienced and paid attention to details. All the counter tops fit perfectly. I LOVE my new kitchen by JL

And he always responded and answered every questions I had from start to finish. The cabinets look great and exactly what we envisioned! We couldn’t be more happier. Very reliable, great quality, affordable.The company offers great variety of materials and styles. Delivery is amazingly fast. They are very flexible, example: we wanted material only, no labor - no problem! Later, we decided to use the installation team - we got it. They make very clear what they will and will not do. They value your time - I didn’t have to take days off for installation process. I do suggest to request details on installation schedule broken down to quarter of hours for better organizing your day. All processes are smoothly organized, experience is very positive, saved a lot of money. Highly recommend.

Maria was our sales rep and she was very professional and helpful showing us our options for countertops. Raymundo was the installer and they were able to very quickly install our countertops with minimal mess.I wish they had set expectations about timeline a little better. I was of the understanding that the first appointment for measuring would be the only appointment for measuring and then the next time they came out they would be bringing the countertops for installation. Instead, the first appointment for measuring was a sales guy. When the installers showed up a week later, they only came to take more in-depth measurements and only were there for about a half hour on the first install day. They did show up the next day to install and were very quick and professional about the installation. We lost a full days worth of work because our contractor thought they were installing on that first day when they took the second set of measurements. Other than that they were very professional. 👍🏼

Absolutely wonderful experience with Guillermo and Kate at JL Cabinet & Granite. From the beginning, he was incredibly prompt in answering my questions. He scheduled an appointment at the warehouse so I could see the slabs in person. (The warehouse guys were incredibly kind and accomodating, pulling out multiple slabs for me to see!) The installers showed up when they said they would. They were precise yet quick and efficient. I cant recommend these guys enough. We worked with a cabinet maker and hired JL to do our counters. We had a few hiccups with our construction project and they bent over backwards to accommodate us!Im an interior designer and had been considering using JL on projects for a while before pulling the trigger. I will definitely be using them on future projects. Fabulous counters and fabulous customer service!

I used JL cabinets for a house I was flipping. I started with the cabinets, I had them assemble and install them and put my kitchen together. After that I had them do the quartz countertop and they were very good about measuring, checking for accuracy, and coming through on the date that was scheduled. I highly recommend to others. They beat the competition by a lot for price for the company I used to do my personal house. I had not known about JL Cabinets yet.

I was extremely happy with our recent kitchen install. Guillermo was great to work with from start to finish; constantly communicating with us and really making every effort to get the job finished as soon as possible - even though there was a delay with two cabinets (which is something they cannot control). I personally met Jhonny - the kitchen installer - and immediately got a sense of his craftmanship and attention to detail. I would readily use them again.

I’ve used JL before for my kitchen quartz countertops and I loved working with them. So of course I chose them again for my 3 new bathrooms. This experience made me appreciate that they are beyond good, they are exceptional! My incompetent contractor dropped the ball on the countertops, but JL stepped up and fixed his problem. They could not have been more professional, more polite or more helpful. Thank you Jennifer and Kate, and every installer who did such fabulous work. I knew JL were the most cost effective option in Austin. But it was only when I had a problem did I learn they are also the most skilled in town! I would never go anywhere else for quartz and granite countertops!

Most affordable, quality cabinets in town. Best of all, the customer service is outstanding. One item came damaged and another didnt fit the space (the latter not being their responsibility) and they returned them without a hitch. While the cabinetry option is not robust - its not a full-fledged custom cabinets company, after all - they have a pretty good array of options and find a way to work with you to get you what you want. I couldnt be happier with their communication, service, price, and quality of cabinets.

Purchased quartz countertops for my kitchen from JL Cabinet & Granite and couldnt be happier!! From the staff at the South Austin store (so patient with my indecision!) to the installation - everyone was professional and knowledgeable. Installers showed up on time and cleaned as they went, PLUS they were much less expensive than other bids. I cant imagine what the higher bids would have done differently, because it turned out exactly as we wanted :-)

Easy to work with and very fair prices for coutnertops. Everything from taking the initial measurements to actual install was very prompt and within the promised time frame. Unlike home depot, they do not contract out the installation or the cutting of the countertop so there is a lot of flexibility for any changes and very willing to help you out to get the kitchen you want. Overall, Im very happy with the customer service and look of my new countertops. I would highly recommend these guys over any big box store.

To say this experience has been horrible is an understatement. This is the 2nd time we used this company and I regret this decision. My advice is to stick with a company that has better business practices and ethics. Based on other reviews we are not the first to experience something like this. They are shady people with shady business practices and nickle and dime every step of the way.
