Alex and the rest of the team were extremely helpful in the design phase as we picked a layout and decided which cabinets should go where to maximize storage. My contractor (Mooring USA) ordered cabinets for my house with this company. We had to replace some cabinets due to water damage. We had saved faces and doors from old cabinets to rebuild all lower cabinets.They build wrong size cabinets (some too wide, some too narrow, some too deep), hacked badly sized cabinets inside of my house in order to custom fit my custom build cabinets, putting saw dust and mess everywhere (its open plan kitchen, so I will be finding dust for month to come in all sorts of places). My upper cabinets have been hacked unevenly to make 8 feet tall appliance cabinet fit (why break existing furniture instead of rebuilding new badly made one?!). All of that mess and they never noticed that cabinet faces were all wrong and they will be unable to install existing doors with this cabinets...My contractor uninstalled and threw away all badly build cabinets, but now I am left with unevenly hacked upper cabinet, chipped tiles in the kitchen, broken countertop from cabinet install etc ...I dont understand why Emily (the installer), never mentioned that ALL cabinet faces are wrong and that every single cabinet would need to be rebuild! She proceeded to work with those cabinets for a week trying to make them work, and contractor had to uninstall every single piece...No apologies were offered for any mistakes or dirty house.I dont know were all the good reviews are coming from! I would recommend to stay as far away as possible from this cabinet maker unless you want to build your cabinet twice or trice, your house left in a state of absolute mess and have damaged floors...

Full disclosure: I am a Premium Cabinets employee. I love this company, and everyone I work with. Our products are definitely something I stand behind, which is something I dont say lightly. That being said:I just recently remodeled my home and used Premium Cabinets for my cabinets. I am so glad I did. Before I remodeled I had a 35+ year old home with original pre-fab cabinets. They were cheap, flimsy, and nothing exciting about the color. In one corner we had at least 3 feet of dead space, and one base cabinet floor had dissolved because of a leak under the sink. We were able to fix all of that with our new Cabinets by putting a beautiful lazy susan in that corner, making that space functional. Premium Cabinets had so many choices to make a kitchen as functional and beautiful as possible. The quality of the cabinets is incredible. Solid, and well made. My favorite feature is the soft close doors and drawers that saves my dishes and pots and pans from being jostled around. We went with a stained Smokey grey color. My co-workers could not have been more helpful and educative. They really were thorough in walking me through every step, and treating me like they would any other customer. I had no worries at all when it came to my cabinets, and that was well founded. I highly recommend our company if you are wanting a gorgeous, functional kitchen of your dreams.

Premium is a hot mess. Nice guys but operationally they are struggling HARD affecting every aspect of what they’re in business to do. I wish them well but would not wish them on anyone’s home now or in the near future.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Premium Cabinets. They were able to meet my tight timeline as well as fixed a few hiccups along the way. The cabinets were great quality and overall very satisfied with the experience from Sarah and Emily!

I learned that every remodel is going to have bumps in the road. PCs Operation Manager, Emily, saw everything through until I was completely satisfied. And Gary wouldnt stop working on my install until every detail was just right. And now that its all over, I love my new kitchen. I also compared them to Lowes and a local high end cabinet vendor and felt theirs was the best price/quality match.

I went with this company for our kitchen remodel because of their positive reviews online. Unfortunately, we have had a total opposite experience working with them and would never recommend them to anyone. I have lost count of the mistakes this company has made in regard to our cabinet order and has delayed our kitchen remodel for MONTHS, all of which are because of their error.Our first design was grossly mismeasured, despite the designer coming to our home and measuring a completely gutted, empty space. Not a few inches off, but over a foot! Had we not been observant, none of our kitchen would have worked. He had to come back and measure three separate times, all because he did not seem skilled enough to understand how to measure for his kitchen design.We were also told our cabinets, even with COVID, would be delivered to the company in 2-3 weeks, and then another week for them to build them, so 3-4 weeks total. Despite contacting them every few days, we did not receive any update until I talked with the owner, over 4 weeks after our cabinets were ordered. It took another week for them to arrive, and finally the cabinets were delivered. That’s when even more problems began.Over half of our cabinets were not at all what we ordered, despite what was depicted in the schematic. Drawer and door panels were incorrect styles. We were meant to have two identical 8 ft pantry cabinets ordered, but looking at the inventory list, it was entered as two different sizes. Items we asked to be removed from the order were ordered (at our expense, over $500 worth), where as not enough of other items (toe kicks) were not ordered. I contacted the company with over 10 separate issues on things that were incorrect or missing or built incorrectly. There were even more issues that I didn’t even raise to the company, because at this point, it’s not even worth it.To rectify this, we had to wait ANOTHER 3 weeks. At this point, we had had a nonfunctional kitchen for 7 weeks. It lasted another 3 weeks!Then we got contacted about that order (by email, no less—an apology phone call would have been appreciated), and guess what? While building the drawers, they realized they were sent the wrong size. We had to wait ANOTHER 2 weeks to receive the majority of our drawers for our kitchen.In addition, we were told ordering their “middle grade” cabinet at the price of $15k would be good quality, but they are already dented and damaged from delivering to us, and then during installation.I requested to speak with the owner to see what we could work out. He had a recent injury so wasn’t available, and mentioned the person he put in charge during his absence couldn’t handle the job. It took us over 8 requests to speak with him to even get him on the phone with us. He came to our house and promised to make it right, he said he would hire someone to finish our kitchen and order additional finishing touches. It was all empty promises, we never heard from him again.There are one or two other negative reviews like mine, who seem like they met a similar fate. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

We shopped around Austin for new cabinets for our kitchen remodel and Premium Cabinets offered the best cabinets at the best price. We had a place in Temple that we had ordered similar kitchen cabinets from before - their pricing was about the same, but they did not offer design services, cabinet assembly or delivery.Alex did a great job of putting my crude pencil design into their CAD system so that we could see what everything would look like from different views. At my request, he came over and measured everything, offered some installation advice and made changes to the design based on his site survey. He and the rest of the team was easy to work with and responded to me within a reasonable period of time.The only negative experience that I had involved a lazy susan cabinet that was received from the distributor damaged. The cabinets took 4 weeks to come in, but replacing the damaged cabinet took another 3 weeks. The delay ground my remodel to a stop while we waited for the replacement to be shipped from CA. I think that this situation could happen with any other vendor selling these Chinese-made cabinets.I highly recommend them, but be aware of the potential delays if there are problems. I have attached pictures of our kitchen before (white cabinets) and after (cherry cabinets).

After our house fire, I got to completely redo our kitchen. I enlarged our galley kitchen to include the breakfast area adding about 1/3 more area. The cabinets Randy at Premium Cabinets got me were every bit a nice as some of the best custom cabinets Ive worked with. The finish on the cabinets is what sold me. (and the PRICE!) They installed easily and just look great. Im proud to show them off. Call Randy and tell him you want a kitchen like Mikes!

Just received our order of kitchen cabinets from Premium Cabinets. I need to post kudos to the delivery team. The team consisted of a gal and guy and they were exceptional. They had to unload 3 cabinets before they could get to our cabinets. Not one cabinet was allowed to touch the cement. Every cabinet was placed on either cardboard or a packing blanket. They were kind enough to separate the wall and base cabinets for me and again, all were placed on cardboard. Exception service, thanks.

I have been a general contractor for the past 15 years and have moved from Chicago to Austin back about a year ago. With my experience using multiple vendors in the past for my cabinets, I can attest that PREMIUM CABINETS have met my expectations and then some. Shane Nestle my sales/designer at PREMIUM CABINETS has done an outstanding job with his expertise in design experience, his knowledge of the products and product line and the excellence of his customer service. The cabinets are all HARD WOOD and not the cheap MDF or PARTICLE board product that you typically get from the box store places let alone some higher end cabinet manufactures. I just wanted to take the time to say that my sales representative, Sarah Garcia, was extremely professional, helpful, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs for cabinets. Unfortunately, I was expecting Premium Cabinets to have the same quality that Centex Cabinets had, and I discovered otherwise. Though the exterior faces on their traditional designs look amazing, the interior design and quality is questionable. I really wanted cabinets with glass, but the interior wood is a very light, blond color that stands out. Processing time appeared to be unpredictable with some of the cabinets, but that might be expected in these uncertain times. Overall, the personnel and customer service is their leading asset. I appreciated Sarahs patience and guidance along the way.

Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We sat down with Alex who listened to our questions, our plans and goals. Together, he took the time with us to help with a design and suggestions with no hard sell. My husband and I left feeling very confident and comfortable in moving forward. Suggest that you make an appointment, have rough measurements and some pictures to make the best initial progress. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Premium Cabinets. We only needed 3 upper wall cabinets and pretty much got the run around from every other cabinet provider because our job wasn’t large enough. Alex took the time to get us everything we needed and the price was significantly less. I’d absolutely recommend them for every job - big or small!

I ordered these cabinets through an online search as I was new to the city. Ive been a contractor for 17 years and placed my order so the cabinets would drop while I was in town. they showed up, I installed them, and had the counter tops templated the next morning. The only hic up was one of the glass insert doors were damaged during the fabrication. They told me this ahead of time and I had the door delivered to me within a few weeks. Overall, its what I would expect from a cabinet company. The boxes are of solid construction, much better that what you can get from a box store.

We needed pulls installed on our new kitchen cabinets and drawers, so we went looking for customer reviews in the usual places (Yelp, Google, Facebook). Our search took us to Premium Cabinets on Kramer Lane, where we met Emily Miller. Emily helped us choose hardware that complemented our kitchen and she provided a quote for installation. She came out the next day and did the installation. Her work was precise and efficient, resulting in a quality job that looks great in our new home.

From the second we walked into premium cabinets and meet Shane our experience was 5 star / top shelf. Shane was so great to work with, very responsive and even brought us a sample door we could use in picking out our tile. Every communication with Shane and the Austin team was flawless. Great, beautiful looking cabinets, much better quality than other furniture stores because the cabinets from Premium Cabinets are actually solid wood, not particle board. You can tell if you have particle board when it gets wet and starts expanding. The hardware is also high quality. Surprisingly, the prices are actually the same or hardly more than the other big brands. The staff was wonderful at helping design the kitchen and make sure that all parts were complete and correct.

I had a wonderful experience using Premium Cabinets. The staff I worked with were very helpful and were able to guide me to what I was looking for. Shane and Emily were very helpful in anticipating our needs and were very organized in getting the entire process completed in the time they told me. They had recommendations for installation which proved to me a very good connection as I hired a contractor on this list to install them and they did such a good job. I am very grateful I had Emily and Shane to work with in this process as there are many choices and with their help, it was a lot easier. I highly recommend using them as I was very pleased with my service and my product.

Premium cabinets has a showroom in North Austin. It is a small company with excellent customer service and follow up. When the cabinets arrived and were delivered to my condo Alex, quality control, inspected them . There was a warped shelf and a small crack in a drawer. Install went as scheduled and these items were replaces shortly after installation.I love my new kitchen cabinets! My only advice is to make sure all the drawers are attached to rollers and working smoothly before they leave.

I absolutely LOVE my kitchen!!! Alex was amazing at helping me design a GORGEOUS kitchen and coffee bar, and Armanzo our installer exceeded expectations. His craftsmanship and professionalism was outstanding. I would definitely recommend Premium, however, be aware it will take longer than you probably think, as the process took longer and communication during the post-sales process needs some improvement. But, in the end, they did what they could to make me super happy and I couldnt be happier with the results.

The work they do is excellent. From design and concept design through delivery and installation is really high-quality. They do good work; however, the customer service, communication and order quality didnt meet expectations. They have been responsive, taken our feedback and have promised to address some of the communications issues we had. Overall, I would highly recommend Premium Cabinets, with the caveat to just actively manage your timelines. Our mid-sized laundry room is functional and beautiful now.

I purchased a set of kitchen cabinets in 2011 and have really enjoyed them. Compared to what others quoted me at the time for maple cabinets of this quality and construction, I saved an easy 50%. Recently, a slide mechanism in one of the cabinet drawers broke. I took the part into the store on Kramer Lane and Emily Miller waited on me. Even though it had been 7 years, she provided a replacement set of sliding mechanisms for the drawer and didn’t charge anything. Now that is service after the sale! Thanks Emily.

Wow! Im so happy I stopped in at Premium Cabinets on a Saturday for my kitchen remodel and met with Alex Martin. They have quality all wood cabinets that self close, Amazing! I picked out my style and colors and he designed my kitchen perfectly that same day. He even came out after hours to do a final measure. The service just kept on coming as Emily stayed in touch with my contractor thru the whole installation process. The experience was great, the process was so easy and my kitchen looks AWESOME!

I spent about one and half hours in home depot getting the run around. Nobody could help me. Finally on my way out I decided to Google nearest cabinet shop. Thats how I stumbled upon Premier. Miles greeted me when I entered the show room, and I showed him my MDF kitchen drawer that had disintegrated. He said he might have the actual size in back but it would be made out of real wood not particle . I said that was better, cool. Long story short within 15 minutes I was out the door with the correct size drawer replacement. They even attached the old glides and pre drilled all the existing holes. Great job miles thanks. We love our cabinets from Premium Cabinets. We decided to go with them because of the quality all-wood cabinets with soft-close drawers and cabinet doors. The only complaint would be the delay in receiving our cabinets that held back some of the other work we were having done in our home. It took 10 weeks to receive our cabinets because a piece had been back ordered, but once they arrived they made sure we had them as soon as they arrived. We selected the cherry wood cabinets and they are gorgeous!

They failed to perform in every aspect. I was promised multiple pick up times that were delayed, delayed, delayed. We ordered a few custom items that were supposed to be done at the store location.( prep for glass doors, cabinet modification for microwave and apron sink) I was told this was one of the reasons for the delays Emily the warehouse manager failed to complete any of the special requests and failed to mention damaged refrigerator end panel, crown molding, fillers and wine racks. Emily and her staff were not there to help load or even find our order. My job has been delayed 6 weeks and customer service is a foreign language. Buyer beware, no accountability and the repair is on a slow boat from China. Good price is not worth the damaged materials and total disregard of customer needs. I cant even begin to fully explain the comedy of errors I had with with this place, but here goes...I was told my order was ready to be delivered, but then learned they completely forgot to order one of my cabinets. So it was going to come in two shipments fairly far apart. Annoying, but whatever, not a huge deal.Then, the initial shipment arrived, and it appeared that everything was, in fact, delivered. Yay! But after looking at them, one was the wrong color. Turns out they had forgotten to order that one. The one I received belonged to someone else entirely, they just randomly dropped it off at my house for some reason.The missing cabinet finally showed up weeks after the initial delivery date, and it was damaged. One of the drawers didnt close properly. Luckily my contractor was able to fix the hinge, so I didnt have any further delays to my already significantly delayed project.Later I had to return to them to get one more cabinet, to make sure it matched the rest. After nearly 2 months with no word, I started calling to ask about it. Called many times and each time I was assured Id get a call the next day with an update. I never got a call back from them.I kept calling every day, and eventually got in touch with someone. My cabinet had been sitting in their warehouse, they just hadnt told me. I got delivery set up, and they told me I needed to be home for the delivery, so I took time from work to receive it. But then they ended up leaving it outside with no knock on the door or anything, so I was sitting around twiddling my thumbs waiting for a cabinet that was sitting outside under my carport because they told me to be home.Looking at the other reviews this seems like an outlier. I hope no one else has this experience with them.

Our cabinet installation was not as smooth as we would expect. There were some issues regarding cabinet sizes etc. However Alex, Shane and other team members worked hard, went extra miles to resolve the problem. Alex re-ordered the replacement, and they delivered /installed it perfectly. We really appreciate their determination to get everything right, to make sure the 100% satisfaction to customer. The prices cant be beat either. I needed mine cabinets quick and they arrived within a week of ordering them. I recommend them to everyone who needs cabinets!

Purchased a older home last year with original cabinets throughout. Had the team from Premium help me design my new kitchen and bathrooms. They set me up with a great installer (Armanzo) and awesome counter tops (Abbie at Blue Label) and everything turned out amazing. It’s almost one year since I had them installed and I am loving them more everyday. The quality is great and the touch up kit that came with them did a great job hiding the scratch my dog put on one of the doors. Great customer service and a fair price. Highly recommend using them to anyone looking for new cabinets.

I purchased cabinets for my master bathroom remodel. The quality is superior to similarly priced semi-custom cabinets I shopped elsewhere. The single biggest reason I would use PC again is the customer service. The team was great to work with and went above and beyond. Emily personally delivered, ON A SATURDAY, a toe kick replacement when the incorrect color was mistakenly shipped.

Awesome cabinets at a great price that were delivered and installed within the estimated timeline. I paid much less than I would have at Lowes or Home Depot. Selection could be better, but if they have a cabinet you like, you wont get a better deal.

While our project was not without challenges, Premium Cabinets did work extraordinarily hard to overcome those challenges, many of which were beyond their control. The many glitches caused a snowball effect delaying the completion of our remodel by six weeks. But Im happy with the cabinetry we finally have installed.

We are very happy with the product, we headed couple issues with the measurements but Alex Martinez customer service help us with all those little details, overall were very happy with our new cabinetsAlso one of the great things that we like about this company was they giving you new ideas how to redesign your kitchen, they were elbow to utilize our kittens space more efficient.

Our cabinets are fabulous.....extremely well built and designed. We are especially pleased with the beautiful island. We were concerned with one of the Lazy Susans which was out of alignment and we had to take corrective action. Although we live in Kerrville, the installers were efficient. Overall, we highly recommend Premium Cabinets.

Our first stop was the usual suspects- Home Depot and Lowes. After reading their great online reviews we decided to visit Premium Cabinets. John did a fantastic job understanding our needs and coming up with a much better design. We were able to get better service and a higher quality all wood cabinets, full extension soft close dovetail drawers for 32% less than the particle board/engineered wood cabinets Home Depot or Lowes offered us.

I hired Premium Cabinets to design and install new cabinets in both the kitchen and bar area. Although I didn’t change the footprint, I did request a complete redesign of the layout and functionality of the new cabinets. Alex delivered on both request and well within my budget.In addition, the installation team, led by Armanzo made several suggestions during installation that resulted in a very custom look,using every square inch of wall space at a very low cost.I will be using both Premium Cabinets, Alex and Armanzo, Extreme Renovations for my bathroom remodeling.Pictures to follow!!

Good service very happy with material, good quality cabinets

Horrid quality. I scheduled a 12 oclock appointment with one of their salespeople and while waiting in the lobby till 12:10 while the guy was on the phone with someone I got a good look at the units on the floor. I checked every unit on the floor and left in disgust. I have some experience with woodwork and every alarm bell in my head was screaming at me after just feeling the cabinets. Not a single one of the drawers glided in any sense of the word. Premium Cabinets exists in a world devoid of sandpaper. I lost count of the splinters coming off, well, everything. Dovetail joints? I could slide a toothpick through the gaps.If you are considering these cabinets I strongly suggest getting off-the-shelf units from Home Depot or Lowes. Ideally youd go to Ikea.

My appreciation of Premium Cabinets stems from having bought bathroom cabinets from Randy (the owner) nearly 5 years ago, when he was in a teeny, hard-to-find industrial strip somewhere off Burnet Rd. You had to have an appt. to catch him there (the shop was otherwise closed to the public) and review what he had, which was a lot, though his space was stuffed to the brim. The quality of the cabinets was very clear on examination, and comparison shopping showed the much lower cost (then, like now, he would order what you needed, with the showroom items simply indicating the finishes and styles). I felt the same with my current purchase, though his current showroom alone is as big as the entirety of his other space (which contained a showroom of sorts, an office area, a warehouse portion, and a space for building the cabinets once they arrived at his place). He now has regular hours (well, his place does; he has probably always kept quite irregular hours, running hither and yon to build his business), a receptionist, and at least one salesperson (John), plus the folks in the warehouse doing the assembling of the cabinets when they arrive.I had to look on the Internet for a few days to find a contact for the new location, but it was worth it to me to track Randy down. If you make an appt. with John, you will probably still run into Randy, still dashing hither and yon, but this time often within the confines of his large attached warehouse. If he sees you staring at some of the displays or catalogues, he will likely stop and ask if you have any questions.Once you get set up with John, you can exchange emails, texts, and/or phone calls until youre confident that your order meets your needs, and then you can wait to be surprised by the cost (first that big number that you were expecting based on your looking around, and then the much smaller number, which is what you will pay to them). I hadnt clearly designated a knob style for some drawers, so I ran over to Lowes to see if they had it and I could get a part number to pass on to John. I wasnt expecting Lowes price to be so much more than PCs.I am not in the business of home remodeling, though Ive acted as my own general contractor twice on my current Austin home. Both times Ive done the measuring and the looking for the new cabinets, but had someone I already knew (and was working with) pick up and install the cabinets. (That person can check to see if all of the whatsits and such are included.) If you know your space but dont know what you want, sit down and talk with John (if, like me, youre a researcher, first check out potential options on the Internet). If you dont want to measure and have only an idea, either send your contractor over there or have him/her go with you. The person who will install my cabinets this time actually makes cabinets himself, and he is already impressed by my current bathroom cabinets and shocked by the cost. I cant wait for him to pick up my new cabinets and see the showroom, as he will have an option for his clients (like me) who cant afford his custom cabinet-making.I suspect that, with each of my purchases, I was probably the lowest sale in any month, or maybe any week. But no one at PC made me feel that way.

Instead of writing a review I am just going to paste the email I wrote. Bottom line - worst place ever!Because of the horrible service Premium Cabinets has provided I have been without a kitchen for six months. This has not been a minor inconvenience. I cook and eat healthy and have had to eat out for six months. Every single thing that could possibly go wrong did and was not taken care of in a satisfactory manor. Maurices response to my apology for a blunt email. Paraphrasing... Its ok, I dont take anything personal. i.e. I dont care. I dont take my work or your satisfaction seriously. He proved true to his word.1. 33 sink base that should have been standard 36 stated plainly on the quote/invoice. I wont even get into the other measurement issues that had to be compensated for by the installer (where he was able). This delayed the cabinet installer and counter top installer forcing them to reschedule their work. This inconvenienced and cost every one including me money. I live in far South Austin and my installer had to make an additional trip way up North to pick up the 36 when it came in which I had to pay for and I was charged an additional payment of $530.81 for the 36 screw up and took over a month to get. You guys should have delivered the cabinet and eaten all this cost. Instead you bill me additional money for the cabinet and make me pick it up!2. Two drawers are missing and I am having to pay my cabinet guy to build them, rails and all which I had to find and buy!Update: Maurice finally materialized the drawers - wrong size and no rails and an additional charge of $135.31 - you should have eaten this cost too. Maurice basically threw them in my lap and said figure it out. I had to cut the drawers and rebuild them myself! For some reason he was unable to provide me with rails or the company where I could purchase the rails. I asked him repeatedly for the company where I could buy the rails. Mind you I had already paid for all the cabinets and drawers in full and no rails! Over the course of two weeks in my spare time I searched and called until finally finding the company on my own. For future reference so you know where to get your own rails the company is DAKOTA Premium Hardwoods and Millworks in South Austin. Then spend another day installing them myself!3. The Lazy Susans were missing and had to be brought out and installed - and argued about whether I ordered or paid for them when they are clearly on the invoice.4. Four of the doors put on backwards and had to be reversed by my cabinet guy. This cost me money for the cabinet guy to fix.5. There are still shelves missing. Maurice said he would get them to me. Its been six weeks - not a single word. I dont expect to hear anything.I think you guys should have eaten the profit on this job. In my mind you owe me for pain and suffering and if I had the time and money I would sue you. This entire job was so badly botched there are not words to describe it. Please go out of business. Please! Ill be sharing my feelings about your company so that hopefully no one else should ever have to experience what I did.

It takes forever for your order to come in the warehouse manage Maurice is very rude and my wife says it happened after he flirted with her I wouldnt waste my time or money here anymore hands down worst expierence ever!!
