I scheduled a number of other appointments in and around Austin, and was so discouraged by the quality of service and overall experience but thankfully, Melange was my last stop!! Originally, I learned about Melange because they carried one of my favorite designers. For a few weeks they held one particular dress for me before my actual appointment, and when I came in, they had already pulled several dresses that matched my style. Vanessa, the stylist I worked with was a dream and its clear that their in-house seamstress is excellent. HIGHLY recommend this boutique. I am so thankful I found my dream dress here.

Loved Melange Bridal! I had been searching for a dress for a few months. I had reached out to Melange and was connected with Ivana. Ivana was fantastic! I have been a picky bride from the start, and was continuously narrowing my interests and desired look down. Ivana was very patient, professional AND knew/understood exactly where I was going in my style interests!! Melange was the second bridal salon I visited when searching for my wedding dress. The atmosphere and employees were very welcoming. Its not a huge salon, but definitely has an amazing selection and a large variety to choose from. Its important to feel comfortable when dress shopping and I never felt anything less than. The last dress I tried on there ended up being THE ONE! My whole experience at Melange was seamless. I would and have recommended Melange a thousand times over!

Melange helped make finding my wedding dress a wonderful experience. Vanessa was so sweet and was there to offer words of encouragement every step of the way. When it came down to the final 2 dresses they even offered to put one on a mannequin so I could see them side by side. I was so indecisive at the end, but that was the push I needed to go with the dress that I had fallen in love with, despite differing opinions of family. Amazing experience! My consultant was Vanessa. From our conversation when booking the appointment she already had a selection of dresses pulled when I had arrived. They have an assortment of beautiful dresses and I ended up choosing the dress she had originally pulled for me. I could not have been happier with my experience!

I could not be any happier with my experience with Melange. Truly, the staff there has felt like family, especially sweet Sonia and Vanessa. The staff cares about their brides, listens, and knows everything you could think of when it comes to gowns. Their selection is phenomenal for a small boutique and have prices for every bride. Alterations in house make the process easy, and being 5’0 and extremely stout, I never though a ball gown would fit so well, especially in the torso, but here we are! I truly think my gown experience has been my favorite part of the engagement thus far, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I could wear my dress every day for the rest of my life if I could! I live in Houston, and would drive to Austin every week if I had to just to have the bridal experience here over and over again. Oh my goodness, where do I begin! I came here with my mom, sisters and nieces hoping for a relaxing experience, and they more than delivered! I bought the VIP Gold package, and they showered us with their undivided attention, snacks and sweets, and champagne! Vanessa was incredibly helpful and made me and my family feel very well taken care of. Ivana was such a treat to talk to, she was so, so kind and went above and beyond to make sure I got my desired dress at the best price! This was one of the few places in Austin that carried high-end dresses which was also a plus. Words cant describe how grateful I am for the sweet experience I had here - seriously the best. I cant thank you enough!!

Worst experience ever tried to sell me a used dress that my daughter tried on the yr before it had a hole in it and was dirty it was a floor sample try on dress “and pass it off as new after waiting a year and I drove 5 hours just to leave with nothing had to re order thank god we had time To order that they didn’t do the first time just lied and said they did one year before buyer beware!!! and the owner is rude and lies only good thing I have to say is after a long bad experience my daughter got her favorite designer dress !! and it’s beautiful but pay attention to what you buy make sure it has tags and you get a tracking number I was lied to numerous times I’ll never buy from here ever again

Melange is a boutique bridal shop. A small space, with BIG service. The staff, especially Ivana, was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. There was a wide assortment of dresses to choose from. They can make many adjustments to their dresses if it isnt exactly what you want, and spent time showing us what the different dresses might look like modified. As it was, we found one that was perfect aside from needing to be taken in a bit. They have a seamstress on site who quickly pinned the dress for alteration and we look forward to picking up the final product soon. They never even blinked when we told them the wedding was in four weeks :)

This place was amazing! I have had a dress from them I saw on pinterest saved for almost 5 years now and they still had it! It has been my dream dress for forever. It was the only one I could see myself walking down the aisle and it was more beautiful then I could ever imagine! I also tried a few other dresses just to see and even though I had my dream dress set, it was very hard to be 110 percent on my first choice but in the end, I couldnt choose any other dress over my dream dress! And now, I know I made the right choice! I would 100000000000 percent recommend them to anyone and everyone! I will definitely be recommending to all my single friends when they get married! And price wise, it wasnt as bad as I was expecting! I was sure my dress was going to be at least $5000 without alterations, but it was only a little bit over $2000. I was in complete shock! I know for some people a couple grand is too much, but for those who are just trying to keep their dress under $10,000 or even $7,000 (because their dress range from $1,200-$6000 at least for the designer Milla nova which is the designer I wanted) then this is the best place for you! I was fully prepared to pay $6000 for my dream dress 1000 percent! Now enough said about the amazing dresses! The staff was absolutely amazing!!!! They were so helpful and definitely focus on the brides needs! The person that helped me was Vanessa and she did absolutely amazing! She helped give me ideas on if I wanted a veil or not, I was definitely set on no veil but she had me try it with my dress and honestly I am so glad because now I know I want the veil! She also helped me see what it would look like adding a long train to my dress which is what I wanted and it getting it custom designed to my dress for not that much extra! The experience was just so amazing and exactly how I imagine it would be to get my wedding dress and I am so grateful for them! Thank you so much Melange Bridal!!!!!!! I will see about posting my dress after I get married if I can still edit this post by then, if not, I will make another post showing my dress!!!

This was the first place I ever looked at dresses and I was very happy that I started here first. The associates were very helpful and kind; felt very welcomed. They even made an adorable table set up for me and my guest!

I visited this shop on 5/13/21 and it was my 4th stop on my hunt for the perfect dress! I am so glad i came here!I came in knowing exactly what i was looking for, since i had already tried on other dresses. When i first called the lady that answered (w/the accent) was very helpful! I told her how i have been searching and just wasnt finding the one that checked all my boxes. I also told her how i have been feeling so rushed at these appts & i wanted to insure before going to Melange that i wouldnt be rushed if i went over the 1hr appt time slot. The lady told me not to worry about that & she encouraged me to go on the Melange website & look at all the dresses they have in stock & to text her what I liked so they could pull those styles! I lot of Bridal shops (if not most) do not post their inventory, so this was so very helpful so you dont go in wasting your time! I ended up finding two dresses that i fell in love with!I am going back for another appt with my mother & the in-laws here in a few days, & i know i am walking out of there purchasing one of them! I cannot wait! The sales consultant i worked with was also named Vanessa! She was very kind, sweet & helpful. She was not pushy nor made me feel rushed into making a decision! This is sooo important not to make the client feel obligated to purchase such an expensive dress on the spot. Other shops the consultants had made me feel like they were car salesmen!Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality and customer service Melange Bridal!

Im a plus size bride, 54 and about 190 pounds. I know I wanted a mermaid gown. Upon arrival, they confirmed all the information I had provided on their appointment survey. I forgot the name of my stylist. It was an older woman with an accent and a young blonde lady who appeared to be training. They were very receptive to the feedback I gave them and sprung into action after each dress I did try on. The store definitely carried beautiful one-of-a-kind gowns. However, there were a handful of dresses that I was unable to try on due to my size, which is always disappointing. There was definitely one dress I probably would have said yes on the spot to me but wont end up buying because I couldnt try it on. They tried to clip it over another dress so I could get an idea, but its not the same.

I had the best experience at Mélange Bridal thanks to Vanessa! I’m always nervously expecting a stuffy atmosphere at bridal shops, especially being plus size. But Vanessa was so sweet and helpful & made it a wonderful experience for my mom, my friend, and I! With her help I was able to say yes to my dream dress! Thank you Vanessa!

Melange was the first bridal boutique I shopped at and at my second appointment, I found my dream dress! Raylee has been an incredible resource and helping hand and finding my dream dress for a reasonable price makes me so excited for my wedding. They have onsite alterations which make it even better! Im so thrilled to be a Melange Bride and cant wait to continue working with them.Update:My father got diagnosed with cancer, and with the Delta Variant surging and me being a nurse, we ultimately decided to postpone our wedding. The staff at Melange was so kind to let me store my gown and set up a way to work with them. I cannot brag on this store, Raylee, and Ivana enough. I was blessed to walk into this shop and I can’t wait to wear my gown when the right day comes!

I came to this bridal store because they had my favorite dresser Sophia Tolli. I made my appt and then once arriving I was checked in promptly and was able to pick dresses out. I was very excited since this was the first place I stopped at to look at dresses.I choose three dresses and as soon as I tried the second one I knew it was the dress. Shortly after saying yes to the dress, Sonjia came and took my measurements and the dress came in a couple shades of white. They helped me determine which shade of white was best for my skin color. I purchased my dress and was told the dress would come in about 8 months or so.After months passing I got the emailing saying my dress was in and I set up an appt to have it fitted. After having it altered by Sonjia which didn’t take too long I came back for the final fitting. The dress fit perfect! My dress had a lot of lace detailing and Sonjia did a wonderful job making the dress fit me.I defiantly recommend this place and if you need any alterations done Sonjia is the one to go to she is the best!

I loved my experience start to finish! There were a variety of price ranges and styles of dresses, the store is nicely kept, and the customer service was wonderful. I did not feel rushed or pressured. My alterations fit perfectly and after the wedding they offered a discount rate to have my dress preserved. I would highly recommend visiting Melange Bridal.

We were in from out of town and decided to take a chance and see if they had any availability. They were able to get us an appointment that afternoon. Taylor was our consultant and she was amazing. I cant say enough good things about how professional, knowledgeable and helpful she was. She took us through all of the different types of dresses they carry and let us pick some out on our own. In all honesty, they were all beautiful and we had trouble finding styles we didnt love. Taylor was also able to speak to every part of the ordering and alterations process and assured us of the stores pride in their service. She managed to help us find 2 dresses that we loved so much that we couldnt decide between them right then. We didnt feel pressured or brushed off for not making a purchase right then. In fact, she told us that it was normal not to purchase the first time in and even sent us off with look books with our favorite dresses starred. We would definitely make the trip from out of town again just to come here again. Better than we could have ever expected.

Out of all my bridal planning and preparations my experience at Melange was the easiest. I found the dress of my dreams and it was the first dress I tried on. They are so pleasant and professional and made the entire process stress free. The alterations and veil were done quickly and perfectly as well. I highly recommend Melange Bridal.

This is definitely a place to go for buying a wedding dress. The service there was amazing!!!! Most bridal shops have dresses there that are not even close to your dress size, this shop had dresses in my size!!! The girl that helped me pick out my dress was so helpful. And I found a dress!!! Loved my experience at Melange Bridal. I went to every bridal shop in Austin and Melange was by far the best. The staff was super professional and communicated efficiently, I was able to email pictures of specific dresses I wanted to try on and Ivana had the dresses ready to go upon my arrival. Ivana also moved my appointment up 2 hours early to 10am before the store opened to ensure she was solely focused on my experience instead of having multiple brides in at the same time.

Terrible service. Instead of my made to order wedding dress, they gave me an altered sample dress in the wrong size and refused to reimburse me. They insisted I just gained weight instead of accepting the fact that the dress was clearly altered. Rude, untrained, and judgmental. Even the on site tailor was substantially unpleasant and callous. Stay away. They become malicious thieves as soon as you hand your card over.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Taylor and Melange Bridal. Having already visited several dress shops and tried on countless dresses, we were initially skeptical when Taylor said she finds The Dress within five tries. However, this seemed more and more likely as we browsed the beautiful selection of dresses and noticed that Melange carries a wider range of sizes and styles than most shops. (I can’t emphasize enough how much of a difference it makes to try on a dress that fits!) Taylor’s efficient process, emphasis on the bride’s personal style, and talent for accessorizing made the process fun and easy, and we did indeed find The One on dress #5! I can’t recommend Taylor and Melange Bridal highly enough - thank you for finding the dress of my dreams!

The BEST! I have had a few experiences shopping and Melange was by far the best in every way!! My consultant Taylor was AMAZING, and if you can visit book an appointment with her. When I said I wanted something different she knew exactly what I meant. My dress is flattering for my figure and it is exactly within our budget, but I got all the WOW I wanted. The entire team made me feel so special while I was shopping, even though the store was very busy! Such a professional business with all the fun and glamour to make you really feel like a bride.

Horrible experience! They sent the wrong dress to my parents in a different state, two weeks before the wedding!!! They ended up sending my brand new dress to the cleaners and an already worn one to my parents in another state!! Oops mixed up two dresses! When I called the store to speak to the owner, She wasnt in, and will call me back in the morning. I was furious!! When she finally did call me back late the next morning I had to be the one to suggest what could be done to make this right. Horrible customer service. Once I finally received the correct dress, the alterations were sloppy and my dress didnt fit like we planned. They were never apologetic when I came in to pick up my dress after the free cleaning that I suggested. Greedy and unprofessional. Take your business elsewhere. You deserve a stress free wedding and to give your business to some one who truly cares.

I had a great experience at Melange Bridal. The staff was incredibly helpful and very sweet and accommodating. Although I did not end up ordering a dress here (they are a little pricey), I would highly recommend this store. I ended up going to 6 different stores when I searched and this was by far one of the best ones I visited.

I said YES to the dress at Melange Bridal! This was the first store I went to and after a day of visiting different boutiques and interacting with other consultants, hands down Melange Bridal Staff is amazing. They were very helpful and very attentive and made my special day even more special. I tagged my picks and it was great to see how Kelly was picking up on what I was wanting and not wanting and also having an eye for what would make me stand out, she brought out a dress that ended up being THE ONE! This is a small, cozy place the selection isnt huge, but that is what makes it nice. For any first timers its a great place to start as you get more individualized attention and it doesnt seem so overwhelming.

Melange was my first and only visit! The staff there gave me that perfect bridal moment every bride dreams of. This quiet little salon is full of gorgeous reasonably priced dresses. The staff also absolutely treat you like a princess for the day. I cant say enough positive things about the seamstresses. They worked with me and my changing waistline leading all the way up until the week before the wedding. They also pressed and fluffed every piece of tule so it looked absolutely flawless the day of out in the hot May weather in Driftwood. Thank you Melange staff you guys really made finding the perfect dress easy!

I love love love this bridal boutique. I went to multiple bridal stores with no luck of finding my dream dress. Taylor came over and after greeting me she asked how many dressed I had tried on already. After she heard the outrageous number of 25 she said oh no, you wont need to try on that many today! I picked 5 dresses to try on. Melange Bridal was the first store I went to and had a hard time determining which dress I wanted. After jumping back and forth from 2 of my favorite dresses by Justin Alexander. I said yes to my dream wedding gown. All the staff there was great, I highly recommend this bridal shop if you are looking for something unique and great customer service for your special day!

This is fairly small salon but the service I had was great! They also have some of their own designs so you can get some really unique, beautiful gowns at affordable prices (some less than $1000). While I didnt buy my gown here, I would definitely recommend it for a non-overwhelming, intimate experience. Good luck to all those hunting!

This was the first store I went to try on dresses. I found a dress I loved, but I couldnt allow myself to buy that dress..until I visited a few more stores. I could have just stopped at Melange. The level of time and attention I was given at Melange far exceeded the other stores. I worked with Taylor and she was beyond helpful in listening to the style I was going for. Needless to say.. I went back there the next day and bought the very first dress I tried on. P.S.. even if you do not buy your dress at this store, go check out their selection of veils. They are stunning!

I bought a Demetrios dress from Melange bridal for my upcoming wedding. Everyone there is very professional and helpful. All of my experiences have been nothing but pleasant. I actually drive from Dallas to go to them so that says a lot. I highly recommended them for your wedding dress.

Melange Bridal was only the second store I had gone to to look at dresses and I was simply blown away. Taylor, my consultant, was super helpful and so nice I loved her! I went around the store and picked out three dresses and from there she went to pick out dresses that were similar to the ones I liked. There were two dresses in particular that I loved and I just couldnt decide between the two. I left without a dress that first time and went home to think about it. After looking at other dresses online, no other dresses compared to those two. Went back to the store about a week later and tried the two dresses on again and finally decided on one and bought it that day! It was simply a wonderful experience and I would definitely come here again and actually may come here for my bridesmaids dresses!!

So helpful and kind and has a beautiful selection of dresses! Took me three tries to find my wedding dress and it ended up being the first one that they picked for me ❤️So I hate to do this but I feel like other brides shouldn’t have to deal with the kind of attitude their seamstress has. When she’s got too much on her plate she starts attacking anyone that tries to talk to her and is very rude. I have been waiting for my veil to get in for a few months now and I leave the country for my wedding in 2 weeks. I called to ask what happened with my veil and they said they had it so I asked if I could come in and try it on with my dress (which has been done with alterations) they told me the only time they had available was 2 days before my flight and that my dress was still in alterations too. I called back to make sure they knew I had to leave in two weeks and the lady started yelling at me saying that I had only 2 alterations done and my third was this month (which isn’t true I had my third and final alteration done over a month ago) then she proceeded to yell at me about how it’s not her problem I never told them about my wedding day arrangements (which I did every appointment from the beginning) finally she pulls my files up and realizes she was wrong, doesn’t apologize and asks me rudely if I still want to come in.Final point: the dresses are nice and the owner is a sweetheart, the receptionist is nice too but the alterations lady is a jerk. If you get your dress here consider having the alterations done somewhere else!

I had such an amazing experience at Melange Bridal. The process went from Feb. 2015 when I found and ordered my dream dress, to June 2015 when the alterations/fittings began, to October 2015 when I picked up my dress the weekend of my wedding. They created a sweetheart neckline for my dress and made a custom veil for me. If you have a vision and need to alter your dress, they can make it happen! Everyone at Melange is helpful, patient, and they dont mind playing photographer for you with your camera or phone if you didnt happen to bring a friend to all of your alterations appointments. Their new store space is absolutely gorgeous.

Horrible customer service! My soon to be sister in law took us (bridsmaids) shopping here, we had an appointment! We walked in and they acted like they had no idea what they are doing. The employees also have no personal fashion sense, or confidence in talking. We could barely hear the girl that was talking to us, we never even knew her name... they wanted us to wait but after 30 minutes they moved their rolling rack and stuck us in the corner to try on a couple dresses we grabbed.

Everyone who Ive worked with has been wonderful and friendly! Their customer service is prompt and thorough. I love Melange Bridal!

Theres a small selection of dresses, but theres definitely some great deals. They have consignment as well as discontinued dresses. All the dresses I tried on were under my $1000 budget. Unfortunately I was looking for something more flowy/chiffon and didnt find it here, but I recommend you check it out.

I wanted to give this shop a higher rating, but unfortunately had a bad experience that ruined my opinion of how they run their business. The shop made an error with my payments and harassed me four months AFTER my wedding to collect an over $700 bill that was misplaced through their accounting system. To say this was an inconvenience is an understatement and it really showed a lack of professionalism and customer service. I would also highly recommend shopping around for alterations since they overcharge through their in-shop help. My bustle kept falling, which made it really difficult walking/dancing since I had to stop frequently to gather it up again. With all that being said, I did love my dress and veil, so it should be a stop while browsing for your big day.

I had a great experience at Melange and Taylor was amazing to work with. It was my first day shopping for dresses and she really helped me with finding styles I loved.

After buying a dress I went back to get some alterations but they said they couldnt do anything after being told that I can get alterations if needed. Very upsetting that I had to go somewhere else to get my dress fixed.

This is where I purchased my dream dress! Taylor is awesome and so helpful.

I bought my bridesmaid dress here. The dress was too small so I took it in to get it altered. After having them try twice the dress still doesnt fit. The alterer told my mom that if my mom went and bought fabric as well as a new zipper then they would alter it again.My sisters wedding dress was also bought here. She had to take her dress in three times. The second time they forgot to sew part of the dress they were supposed to. The alterer also told her that she wasnt sure how much she could alter the dress because of all the beading.The only experience I have to compare this to is when I got married. My alterer was amazing, fit the dress to me perfectly. Of course theres beading everywhere, theyre wedding dresses. If you do buy a dress here I wouldnt recommend getting it altered here.

Ivana exceeded our expectations. Deciding on just the right wedding dress can be daunting. But Ivana made it a wonderful experience for my daughter, myself and her bridesmaids. She was so knowledgeable and sweet and knew how to guide us through our decision making process. My daughter Katie was truly happy with the dress she picked. Ivana stayed well within our budget and gave us a great price on a sophisticated top notch designer dress that was prettier than we had imagined finding. And the veil she presented to us is the prettiest veil we have ever seen. It looks gorgeous in the photos we took of it. Just a sweet touch of sparkle.

The bridal consultant Michelle left my sister and bride to be in tears. She was extremely rude, would not listen to what we wanted, and denied any requests. The store was so hot everyone in there was sweating and we asked her to turn down the air she said it already was. When we asked for water she sent us to the back corner to drink out of a water fountain. She was rude, snobby, and ruined what should have been a very special moment.

I absolutely loved getting my bridal dress from here! From the first time I walked in I was greatly so nicely from taylor, I went in even before I had my engagement ring (I knew it was gonna happen)!!taylor was soo nice to me and all the staff. I didnt have an appointment and was just looking but taylor found time before her next appointment to go ahead and let me try on a couple of dresses!! On that day I found my perfect dress!! Months later I come back and all the staff was greater than ever! I got my dress and am extremely exited and happy about my experience there I would recommend this place to anyone. Great great experience they really know how to treat somebody!!

I bought my wedding dress here off the rack (cheaper option) and it is stunning! I loved it! The ladies here at Melange Bridal are very sweet and very helpful. The selection isnt huge there are about 5 racks in the middle and some against the wall.... b ut it is worth going because they seem to have those diamond in the rough dresses. I went to 8 bridal salons... Melange being the first and on my 2nd time back is when I saw my dress!!!The only complaint that I have is that their tailoring is expensive, however she is very good at what she does so I guess you get what you pay for!Thank you Melange for making my day beautiful!!!Jennifer Gethers-Northington
