Bad experience made good.My family just moved to Austin and needed to fully furnish a new house. After much online searching and planning, I was so excited to visit this store. Upon entering the Lamar location, a girl sitting behind the desk looked up at us then back down at her computer. She said nothing to us. As we proceeded through the store she just sat at the desk smacking her gum. We left the store without ever being acknowledged! I contacted the main office to share our experience and received prompt, courteous, and great customer service from Mikayla and Alex; after which, I did choose to purchase from them. The delivery team were FANTASTIC! Millie and Steven treated myself and my items with such professionalism and care. They embodied customer service from start to finish! Hopefully Khazana will remedy their in store issue because everything following that was A+.

Buying chairs and having them shipped through Khazana was an effortless experience. The personalized customer service was incredible. I had to search many sites to find the exact chairs I had seen in a local shop and was hesitant to order online since Im in California. The owner was extremely helpful and personable and actually had moved from Santa Barbara, so he was very familiar with our area. Im very glad to have ordered from a family owned operation and not a national firm. Everything arrived quickly and was packaged well with no damage. Khazana is awesome.

We havent had our delivery yet, but something tells me that will be extremely smooth as well. This is the best place to shop for quality, eclectic furniture at great prices in Austin. My wife and I have purchased the following pieces from Khazana: A completely unique 7.5 foot tall, hand made, hardwood media cabinet. A large side board made with reclaimed antique doors from India. A beautiful antique Chinese wardrobe made of red lacquered elm. A stylish mango wood office desk and chair. A really cool book shelf also made with reclaimed architectural pieces from India. And a beautiful retro modern dark wood buffet for use in the office. When we se similar style pieces at other stores we are always shocked that the pieces we got from Khazana are so much better quality at so much better a price!When people visit our home or office they always comment on the uniqueness and beauty of the pieces we got from Khazana.Ohm, Chase, and the staff are amazing as well. Very interesting selection of eclectic furniture. Most of it reasonably priced. Note the person we spoke with very nice and was ready to negotiate. I thought this was going to be a consignment shop, however most of the furniture is new and can be customized.

Good quality furniture, reasonable prices, downside is delivery out of state takes 4-6 weeks and Khazana staff refuse to help track/deal with delivery issues. Shame.

Good looking designs, quality made furniture and very personable customer service; I couldnt ask for more. I bought a new home 4 years ago and every couple of months since then Ill drop in to see what new pieces are available. They remember me, have a feel for my preferences, provide recommendations and are always willing to go that extra step to ensure Im getting just the piece I want at a reasonable price. Ive brought friends by who have also has positive experiences. If you havent been, its worth the trip.

I purchased a table at The Khazana online and received exceptional service. Table was delivered on time with a minor problem in the extension part of the table. I called and their team was very responsive and helped me quickly with a replacement. Would purchase here again.

We were in the market for a quality dresser for a reasonable price. Seems simple enough, but those two requirements together are a rarity as we found out after many stops on the furniture store circuit in Austin. Then we stumbled across Khazana and their wonderful selection of eclectic and high quality furnishings. The dresser we found was reasonably priced and of the highest quality as well as beautifully finished and fit exactly in the 63 inch space we had in our guest bedroom. And to top it off, they were able to delivery it that day. It is the first time we’ve ever shopped at Khazana, but it certainly won’t be the last.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! I had just moved and needed to furnish my entire condo. I walked in one Friday morning and was promptly greeted. I told the guy (ugh, forgot his name) what I was looking for and he was oh so helpful! Within minutes we had everything picked out. Now for the delivery.... WOW. I had explained to him how I was living in a completely bare apartment and would like delivery ASAP. Within 24 hour I had a professional crew show up and had the job done in no time. I even had an issue with the fit of the furniture in my bedroom, and one of the guys was giving me tips on how to rearrange them to show off all of my new gorgeous pieces. All of their furniture is very well made and absolutely beautiful... I get so many compliments when I have people over. Thanks Khazna!!! Yall are amazing!

We had nothing but great service and quick delivery. Alex was knowledgeable and responsive. The table we ordered is also available from a high end conglamerate store. That particular store would have needed 12 wk lead time due to the specialty status of the table. Khazana had one in stock and 1 week later it was delivered for free to our home in Houston. Could not ask for a better circumstance. We are really pleased and are already looking for new products to design our home. Thank you Khazana for a brilliant flawless transaction!!

I bought 2 awesome solid metal pieces of furnature. 1 came damaged due to the shipper. Khazana handled the issue and everything is great. Just got my replacement and the furniture looks sweet.

We have been looking for furniture since moving into a new house in September. We happened to walk by Khazana and thought we would do a quick walk through just to see what they had. Chase was the person working that day and he spent over an hour with us showing the different chairs they had in the store and online - and which would coordinate well. The items were exactly what we had wanted but at much better prices than we had been seeing elsewhere. And they werent on a 2-6 week delivery schedule which we were seeing at other stores. Three DAYS after stopping in, we got 8 dining chairs, 1 office chair and 5 barstools delivered. We highly recommend this store for their knowledgeable and friendly staff, quality products, efficient delivery and great prices!

ONLINE BUYERS BE AWARE!!I ordered a table in mid June and paid for it, I got an email stating that the table was not in stock and would be in within the next 6 weeks. I agreed to let them keep the funds and would wait. 7 weeks later I called about the table and they stated that there has been a delay in shipping and I would receive the following week. The next week same story, shipping is delayed. I was pressed for time so I agreed once again to wait. In October I called several times and emailed and no table. They will not return emails or phone calls until this month. Promises and reassurance of next week it will for sure be here. Here it is November and I ask for a full refund. They cannot issue a refund because the software will not allow a refund after 5 months so Dennis, the owner has to issue a check and will for sure get to us in 3-5 business days, no check! I regret not cancelling the order the first time and the lack of communication is terrible. As of right now I am out over a $1000 and will have to go look for another table. THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM!!

Do not recommend.1. They lied about the material they use (i.e. Website says a chair is made out of top grain leather, but if you check the inside of the cushion, its faux. Their rep denied it when I mentioned it to them without checking themselves, and their website is still giving false information about that particular chair) .2. They delivered a nightstand we didnt order and did not deliver a chair we ordered. When I asked about the chair, our rep said she didnt know and couldnt track it. The rep told us the soonest we could get the chair was in January, otherwise wed have to buy a new chair and left it at that. We specifically ordered furniture that we knew would come before Christmas. Had a full conversation about it with that rep when we made our first purchase with her (over $15K in furniture), but it didnt feel like that mattered.I had to supply her with a new idea for what could have happened to the chair. Turns out it was delivered to the wrong customer, but Khazana would not say anything about how they would get it back. We were under the impression that we still had to wait until January. I returned the nightstand that was mistakenly delivered to us, and their mover told us You should have just kept it. Free night stand. ...We are informed the chair can be delivered before Christmas, which is great. Except they told us the chair would come one day, and it didnt. We never got a heads up. I had to follow up with the rep, who apologized for not telling us. She confirmed the actual delivery date and on that day, nobody came again. The rep didnt email or call us to say it was delayed AGAIN. I called the store and a different rep said he would try to get the movers to prioritize my order, but he couldnt guarantee anything because its hard to get their movers to listen to him. I asked for a time range for when theyd come by, and he said that they dont do time ranges because they dont know when the furniture will arrive to their customers, they only know the day it will come. Chair finally came, but god, what a hassle.3. Did an in person drop in at the store to buy 2 chairs and 2 lamps that we could get shipped immediately. We worked with a new rep who told us we had store credit and put in our order. He said we should receive the chairs and lamps in a week. Nobody came, and nobody called or emailed. I called the store and the rep who picked up was very hesitant to help us. He kept pushing us to contact our rep ( the one we worked with on our $15K+ purchase), so we did. She couldnt find our order in their system and said she needed our order number to proceed. We were never emailed an order number, but were frustrated that they had to rely on us to track the order instead of gritting through it and either finding it themselves, figuring out what happened to the order if it disappeared, or figuring out how to handle their business with us if they couldnt do the first 2 options. I went to the store to speak with someone face to face.The rep basically threw the guy who took our order under the bus. He said the software is really confusing and complicated and the guy who inputted our order really messed up. He told us that we didnt have any store credit and that no purchase was actually made and left it at that.To say we did not feel taken care of is an extreme understatement. The lack of communication with customers, hands-tied-behind-my-back attitude, employee to employee disrespect, poor management system training, and poor leadership skills in the employees really makes this place not worth it. The last rep we spoke to hinted to us that management was a mess right now and theyre trying to fix internal issues with people.That being said, I actually tried to send this review privately to the owner, instead of posting it on Google. Nobody from the store would send me a direct email address or even just respond.If you like mid-century modern style furniture, I highly recommend CB2 or Crate&Barrel. Quality products, reasonable prices, and no BS.

This is a great little gem on Lamar. Lots of eclectic furniture and home goods with really beautiful pillows & quilts. Prices are quite reasonable and the staff is helpful with any questions youve got.

Dealing with The Khazana has been a pleasure. When the dining room table that I originally ordered was out of production, I received a phone call immediately offering to special order the table if I could wait 3 months. I was hesitant, but they told me I could change my mind during the process if I couldnt wait any longer. Sure enough, they are now carrying a table that I like even more. I was allowed to swap the new table for me special order, and it will be here in plenty of time for Thanksgiving. I look forward to buying more pieces from The Khazana when our remodel is finished.

I can not say enough great things about this store! It caught my eye with a drive by bc it is perfectly located on Lamar and the chairs outside were exactly what I was looking for. When I went inside I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse selection of stylish boho and mid century modern goods at great competitive prices. The customer service is superb and pick up at the warehouse was a breeze. I had to get out of the store before I bought too much stuff! I will definitely be back!!!

What more could you ask for? Exotic, eclectic stock, a knowledgable staff that doesnt intrude, decent prices, and monthly sales promotions. As American tastes become ever more homogenized stores like Khazana become ever more precious.

I ordered a beautiful dresser from The Khazana - my overall experience was fantastic. I found the Thomas Bina dresser at a store in San Francisco and The Khazana was able to beat their price by a huge margin with no tax or extra delivery fee. Chaese, the owner, was super helpful and went out of his way to make sure the piece was delivered and even arranged for white glove delivery at no charge when there was an issue with the original delivery company refusing to bring the dresser up the stairs outside of my home. The Khazana has a really beautiful selection of furniture and their prices are unbeatable, plus they stand behind everything they sell and go the extra mile. I would definitely order from them again.

Horrible customer service! Rude, unprofessional, hard to understand why they’d want to be in a customer service industry. I post here to give other customers a heads-up if they plan a large purchase with this company - think twice.They chose a sub-par shipper (Lodeso, rated D- by The Better Business Bureau, and hold a 1.2 rating on Yelp), which refused to follow-up multiple requests regarding shipment. Calling The Khazana to see if they would help, as they picked the shipper, not me, the customer, the woman I spoke to took ZERO interest, even becoming rude, saying there was nothing they could do, she didn’t handle my order, she individually did not pick the shipper (!?!? it makes a difference who handles your order ?!?!?), not even offering to contact the shipper. I mentioned that I found this to be poor follow-up customer service, and mentioned that I would have to leave a negative review, and, after asking for her name, she hung up on me. There is ZERO INTEREST in developing an ongoing customer relationship. FYI, the item was over $600, so you would think they’d appreciate my business. I never even received the pat response that they did appreciate it. Rude and highly unprofessional.

I will give negative rating if i have one- this guys dont update their inventory for online.I have ordered stools and after 2 weeks i get an update that it has been shipped and after a week i was wondering about my shipment and checked fedex and it says it picked up from Khazana.I called Khazana and i got response that it never got shipped since the stools were out of stock.Am really surprised how this guys work and i have to ask them for refund and its been 2 weeks am still waiting for the refund.Where is my money??

I had an issue with a third party vendor and decided to reach out directly to the seller (Khazana). I received an immediate response from Chase, the store manager. Not only did he call me, he answered the phone each time I called him (I find this to be very rare these days). He was helpful, kind and went out of his way to ensure that I had a great customer experience. I will be using this company in the future not only for the quality of their products but for the outstanding way that they treat their customers. I understand that mistakes happen but Im more concerned with how those mistakes are handled when they do happen. It wasnt even Khazanas mistake to fix in the first place. Thank you, Chase!

I would not recommend to buy furniture from this store online. I bought two Mid Century Modern Erik Buch Teak Counter Stools off ebay. Listing description says black leather and teak wood legs stained walnut. Apparently its a fake polyester leather, as indicated on the label attached on the back of the caution, and wood is really white oak. The plastic floor protection caps were missing for both chairs and dimensions were off as well. Not to mention that the chairs are small and uncomfortable to sit on, the sitting caution is at slight angle so its like you sitting on a slope...I thought these were good enough reasons for the seller to apologize and issue refund. Unfortunately it wasnt the case... The customer service was awful, they refused to issue full refund and told me that I have to pay for return shipping.These chairs worth probably around $50, I paid $170 for each. I would expect a better service and quality for this money.

The Khazana is by far the best furniture store I have found in Austin! They not only have a truly outstanding selection of expertly crafted pieces the staff makes the experience a pleasure. Chaese is flat out fantastic! He was impressively knowledgeable about the products, provided his undivided attention throughout my shopping experience, and never once made me feel that I was in a high pressure sale situation. I will be back specifically because of Chaese. I went in for a King Size Bed and got a great deal but also left with a gorgeous rug that really does tie the room together now that it is in the house.

Khazana could care less.It started with a phone call to verify that a table would arrive by a certain date- 7/14 (from Texas to Alabama) They assured me the order would be processed immediately. Yellow freight (YRC) sent multiple emails saying it would arrive 7/24.I just got my table today- 8/14! Nightmare- unreturned calls and unreturned emails. Khazana could care less, YRC could care less. They just dont care about their customers.
