This is a one of a kind shop for people of all colors and nationalities. Even the staff showed exemplary customer service that was a highly motivated sales person by the name of Renee. She was right there every step with a great attitude. She deserves her own store. That type of good attitude keeps people coming back!!

A very nice beauty shop but the owners and employees forget that its their money thats keeping them open the respect level is not there and its disgusting so sadly I do not spend my hard earned money here

I normally come here when I’m in the area to pick up products, First of all when I walk in I feel as if I’m being watched, secondly when I normally purchase my unit, he went up 30.00 when I asked the owner he got smart. Well Ching Lee down here to quick to double your prices when there others competitors in your area, customer service skills is horrible and it’s a disgrace how you speak to African American women just shut up an pay. You’ll never see my dime. An remember if it’s wasn’t for us your store wouldn’t be here…… Ladies shop where you feel like your not gonna get ripped off.

The place has a diverse collections of hair products. If you are Natural, 90% of their shelf haircare products are safe to use on the fro or locs. A young lady that worked there was really helpful and informative on their products.

They are always nice and helpful. Their selection is A1 and prices super reasonable. I also appreciate their store hours and the fact that they are open on Sunday’s.

The best customer service. Gina was very helpful, I had an issue with my hot iron and she helped me with a solution.

Only Hair Store i go to, I love their customer service and that they ask me if i need any help when I walk around looking dumb founded.

Id actually like to rate this shop as a 4.5 in terms of a beauty supply! I loved their makeup and hair care product selections. They also had a ton of loose and braiding hair available of many different varieties. The wig selection, for me, was a bit lackluster and did not give many variations in terms of custom, carefully crafted wigs. But I usually get my wigs elsewhere, and wasnt even there for that, so yeah - 4.5 stars.

Big selection! I wish it was in south Austin, however when Im in the area, Ill stop by again. The staff seemed really nice also!

Well for you ladies and men that are all about that hair... Now there is a Super Center like such that they should have something to catch your self upon entry the first time.. You are going to be over whelmed. You might just fit all the other north Austin hair hole in the walls inside of Urban Beauty. The stuff is all crossed knowledged from corner to corner... She was so knowledgeable I would guess shes a manager but positive I can say shes running the wig counter. If you know nothing of the products just listening to her explain, teach with the whys and why nots set your mind to comfortable because your in the presence of a Professional.. you also can leave knowing you were helped in such a manor as you know you going home with products to complete your mission with confidence.I highly recommend the most shining hair store ever in the Austin Texas

I love this place, I like to vvvv gdo something different to my hair at any given moment and Urban Beauty has what I want. Im able to create any look for any occasion MY 1 STOP SHOP!!!

The sales associates are so nice, friendly, and informative. They take their time with each customer. Their prices although are about 20% hirer than other stores. They do have a large variety of products.

I shop here because they are not rude. They dont mind answering questions about products that they sale. Not over priced and great quality.

Urban Beauty is a nicely maintained store with a large variety of products. I rated my first and unfortunately last experience 3 stars because of pricing inconsistencies. The associate who was assisting me was very nice and helpful but the price that she gave me for a wig I was interested in was more expensive once I got to the register. I voiced my concern about the difference in pricing to the cashier (who I assume is the owner) while checking out but she didn’t even try to verify the actual cost of the wig versus what is labeled on the mannequin. I ultimately purchased the wig because I really liked it but would like for potential customers to pay attention and be aware of possible price “markups” at the register.

I always have a good experience when I do go this hair store, the staff is always pleasant and friend8.

I didn’t open it, and was refused a refund. The rude af owner laughed in my face when I said it was the last money they’d ever get out of me.

Helpful and kind customer service. I feel there needs to be a sign on I-35 showing the exit where this store is located, although if someone is traveling on this particular road, it will be easy to locate. Handicap parking is available. Not sure if doors are handicap accessible or not. Dont know if theres a public restroom here, although most private stores like this dont offer that access.

Staff was very helpful. The store was neat and well organized. Great place to go for people of color (I am black) looking for hair products. Not a huge selection for toddler hair accessories, but they have the basics covered. I would go back and I would recommend. The prices are fair as well.

The store is very nice, clean and organized. The people that work there are very nice and helpful. The only thing I get is crochet hair. I feel like their hair products are to high.

I loved them. They have the best customer service Ive seen from the several different Beauty Supply Stores with in the last two days. They didnt have exactly what I wanted in a wig but I found other things that I loved. They were very helpful. I will continue to shop with them!

All I’m going to say is my girl TAMIRA (Hope I spelled it correctly) hooked it UP! I went in thinking about buying a particular wig, BUT she showed me a different wig that was completely different than what I asked for. Now I was definitely skeptical at first but when I put it on I was HOOKED. It made me looked great! She knows what she’s talking about and is very intelligent. Will come back only because of her!

I had so much fun in this store today. This was my first time wig shopping and it sure will not be my last. I wish I got the name of the girl who helped me out. She was so much fun, helpful and honest on what styles looked good on me. She said they have over 600 wigs and I believe it. The walls are covered from top to bottom with wigs.

I have been several times and taken and referred friends. No more. The manager helped me with hair product that help curl your hair. When I got home I realized it was for a jeri curl and I dont have that. Tried to return today and they wouldnt take it back. Said it was not a returnable. The receipt does not specify that product as not returnable and non returnable item is not on the shelves. Left the product there and NOT going back. Great store bad business practices.

The customer service sucks! The employees are rude and discourteous! So much so that the basket full of beauty supplies I had in my hand I carefully put back where they were on the shelves and walked out the door. If I am not treated respectfully my money walks out the door with me! Work on your customer service! It is most definitely missing!

Rudest ladies ever Saturday August 31st the shoes cute but sizes are so off went to just exchange cause the sizes was off the lady at register was going to just do a even exchange and the other lady came up.wanting a receipt knowing the shoes were never woren and came from them .just rudest

Went here for the first time and very nice and organized and everything is priced well!!!

Purchased hair glue for $7.99, along w a few more items. Didn’t get sticky or tacky at all. Immediately took it back. Didn’t want a refund, would have liked to exchange it for more glue in a different brand and pay the difference. Was refused due to it being opened. Regardless, it’s still a defective product you supplied in your store. I immediately called my bank who refunded me and will be having their funds withdrawn from the store. Could have had a better outcome. Wanted to give them a try bc they’re new and close to me, but I’ll drive a few more miles to a more customer service friendly establishment.

Great selection but customer service dwendles every now and then...and prices are 2-10 dollars higher on wighery and they sell synthetic wigs for 49/59 dollars its Ludacris....but they would sell more of the knock off the extras on the synthetic wigs they are doing to much in this area. PLEASE let me know when you go down on the synthetic wigs... selection good but prices are Jurassic!!!! Other than that affordable hair care and great selection, purses, fluffy ball key chains, and its all about the dollar now they use to have great personality at grand opening and now they are already acting like BIG JOY AND WIGS AND BEAURY I thought they would be the ones to make the change by first impression how they made me happy to know that you are wanted and appreciated...so now get your things and leave and dont ask for consultation.. they will say yes just to sell... Not satisfied with this part. Yeah that part thus the three stars.. just know what you want when you go in
