Dont trust them!!! They made a mistake and not only will they not correct it they wont even own the mistake that their employee made, when I called about this mistake the person on the phone was very rude and when his manager returned a call to me he also became rude when his basic apology was not enough to correct the $1000+ mistake that they made leaving my husband and I on the hook for their error!!!!

I contacted Lee Auto after shopping around at about 4-5 other dealerships, because Lee is about a 2 hour drive from home. Many dealers were trying to gouge their customers on price, but not Lee. I should note that this review is being written during COVID times, when new (and even used) car inventory isn’t as easy to find as it has been in the past, and many manufacturers are having trouble sourcing new vehicles due to the microchip shortage.I started with their Internet team and after a few back-and-forths we negotiatored a fair price. I was then transferred to a senior sales manager at the dealership (Cam) who confirmed that Lee would honor that price. Cam gave me his cell number and was always available when I needed to reach him for questions and to work out details through phone or email. Great service from Cam.When the day for my vehicle pick-up arrived, I made the 100+ mile drive. I was greeted immediately and met Cam in person. I also met Ben who worked on some loan details, Chris who handled the actual contract signing process, and Diana, one of their service managers.I left with the new vehicle I wanted and I did plenty of research beforehand and know that I got a fair deal. I will recommend this dealer to anyone in my area (north of Bangor) that’s looking for a great vehicle at a great price. The whole experience could not have gone any more smoothly.
Purchased a 2013 Nissan for my grandson as a graduation gift. Within a month the transmission went. They did send us to auburn where they put another used transmission in the car. I was told it had a 2 or 3 year warranty when I asked about it not being a new one. Within the year the transmission began acting up again. Was told there were too many miles on the car now. So I guess 10,000 is out the window and a 19 year old kid without a car. We began calling about the transmission just slightly after a year went by after the second one was installed. No one seemed to offer any help but sorry it’s over a year. Today I thought I’d give one last try with the dealership before just taking a loss. The only help they gave us was trying to sell us another car.Seems 18000 miles a year for two years is all they think a transmission should go for. They obviously knew the car was a lemon when they sold it to us. Also had rusted ball joints that snapped early on as well. They fixed that because it was obvious the car was sold that way in the first place. Still paid a deductible for that too! I am at fault for not doing more research. Kelly blue booked the cars worth after paying them 10,000 and it valued at around 6800 too!Maybe other lucky ones have had good experiences here but I’m extremely disappointed to have a car that I paid this much money for work well for about a year.I’ll stick with Rowe who really takes care of their customers.

Well what a bad day at Lee in Auburn me. First thing I purchased a ram 1500 my wife purchased her Jeep trail hawk my middle son purchased his 1500 ram so on our word of a good buying experience my youngest son purchased a 2017 jeep compass trail hawk buying experience was great thats where it ends first after a week it had an oil leak. He made an appointment found out that there supposed to be factory trained tech. When change of oil left the old gasket on and put new filter on. Wow! But wait theres more jeep was running bad two weeks ago made an appointment today was the soonest they could see it. Brought it in they took it for a test ride then put it on a scan tool found out bad coil pack 1 cylinder and bad spark plug they didnt have the parts to fix it thank goodness because they charged him 119.00 dollars and said warranty doesnt cover it. Most Auto parts store will scan for free and they did so I purchased the parts and 4 New plugs (upgraded) at advance auto and replace the coil and 4 plugs torque to spec. complete back on the road so he could make it to work in less than 30 min. Total this is why I wont be buying or having them service anymore of my family vehicles. Sorry Lee auto if thats how you do business we are going to another dealer..
Had my 2017 Subaru Forrester looked at that I got form lee auto about a low tire sensor that was turning on the day I got it. When I could finally make a appointment they told me I was a little over my miles and would not help me with the tire that had a nail in the side wall. Then they said they would help with one tire. Then the mechanic told me it could mess up the car just doing one tire with it being awd. Told me they would call me to see what they could do has been a week and a few days and nothing back and when I call i just get put on hold and I will get a call back. Not impressed with the rude Manager there too.

I personally had a great experience the first time with lee’s service department. Unfortunately this last time I received the worst experience and wish I had not given them my business as one of the sales people had the nerve to criticize the fact that I was on the phone with my fiance mind you.The sales person that I was sitting next to while my jeep was being serviced for an oil change looked over at Me at the table and said “Do you talk on the phone all day together “ I simply said yes with a smile as it is none of your business sir.. He began to comment well that would not work for me and my wife. I GOT UP AND MOVED AWAY.I asked my fiance if he heard why the guy said to me and he said I didnt. I was called over to get my jeep and I left. Not only was this a bad experience this one is even worse I took my jeep in to have tires and rotors and calipers and new brakes and brake pads mind you an oil change was done prior to the jeep being serviced for a sticker. The same day my brakes were squeaking and the jeep still read oil change required I call lees after a week because figured the brakes needed to be broken in and it was just maybe the sensor being off for the oil here we are a month later and the jeep brakes are still squeaking and the oil change is still required. I WILL BE Speaking with A head person for sure...!!!!! not happy at all with your service

When I completed the process of buying a car, asking for the pin to your banking information. Leaving a customer alone with an unlocked computer, and writing down credit card number on paper... All things witnessed in my short buying experience. My CC info was changed before I left the parking lot.*Edit*. Came back today note the workstations unlocked in a customer area. Still need to address that security.

I have to give a huge shout out to this place. I have been having an incredibly bad week. And this place was a big bright spot in it. Had a warning light come on my truck. I am from out of state here doing a travel rn assignment. I needed my truck to do my job. Last Monday morning I pulled into their service center without an appointment. I came here with the expectation of leaving with a car and well that wasn’t the case. I was greeted by Scott who at first seemed nice but throughout my time being there he was not helpful and very rude. Gage, who was the salesman working with me, was extremely nice and helpful and was trying to find options for me. Not only was I not going to be the lease holder they still ran a hard inquiry causing my score to drop 6 points. On top of that, the report they showed me didn’t match my Experian credit report but they use the same credit bureau? Scott was rude and didn’t even want to listen when I tried to explain to him how a 13 point difference DOES matter. Instead he tells me “I’m not arguing with you about 13 points”. I didn’t know informing you on something that matters to me and does make a difference is arguing. I could have easily put down 10k but I rather take my money elsewhere. I’m glad others had a great experience, I wish I could say the same. Gage, I appreciate your eagerness and the willing to be helpful.**Update as of 7/22. Will contacted me from the company first thing in the morning and was extremely nice and apologized for the unfortunate events that I had to go through. Although there was not much help he could have given me, I do appreciate his willingness to apologize for his teams failure and attempt to put me into a new car. Unfortunately, I found another Nissan back home in NJ willing to work with me and even for a cheaper price. Again, Will, I appreciate you for contacting me and giving me faith again within your company. I hope to be able to come back one day for another car. I bought a new Jeep at Lee Westbrook with exceptional customer service. I was told that I could go to Lee in Auburn for anything since I live closer to Auburn than Westbrook. The engine light came on 2 days later and Lee in Auburn couldnt or wouldnt get it in until June 2??!! I guess the trip to Westbrook isnt so bad. Lee Auburn, you had my business in the past but you have just lost it.Thank you for finding the time to get my Jeep in for service on the same day. And thank you for the 3 day loaner while the problems were sorted out. Shane was awesome, regularly updating me on the progress. I got the call that everything was all taken care, they would gas up my Jeep (150 give or take miles of road testing uses up the gas) and it could be picked up anytime. I was very happy to be back in the drivers seat. Until... Im almost home and guess what??? Gas gauge on Empty!! Lee Auburn, still not sure you will get my business again.

Well, I went to Lee Auto Mall on Center street in Auburn to look at new Ram trucks. I was not bombarded with sales staff, as I walked around looking at Rams. When I was ready to talk to someone, I went inside and thats where I met Stephen Hinkley. Stephen was the salesman whom put me in a new 2019 Ram Big Horn quad, and sent me home with it. It really was almost that simple. It was one of the best experiences Ive ever had purchasing a vehicle. He didnt have the vehicle I wanted on the lot when I first came in but kept me updated by phone and email until it arrived. There was a little problem at the beginning with having the model I wanted, but as soon as it came in everything went really well. Over the last 13 years, Lee Auburn has proven to be a fabulous dealership! I was able to repair my credit via Lee Credit Express, which led me to return to purchase a new 2010 Wranger. Three years later, after solicitations for purchasing my 2010 Wrangler, I purchased a 2014 Wrangler. The best parts of the purchase was that I ordered a Wrangler to be built the way I wanted AND the payments went down by $100. Today, I returned to Lee Auburn to trade in my 2014 Wrangler for a 2018. I was given options to test drive, options for financing, and able to make a decision without any pressure to lease the Wrangler I drove. This saved me another $100/month on the payment! I will definitely recommend Lee Auburn to others!
We had talked to friends who had bought new cars at lee. they were very happy with deal and service. So I was going to get my wife a new car and hearing how pleased my friends were I thought I would give it a try. We went down and was looking at cars and then Derrick Hazen came out. He and my wife started talking. Then he got a key so she could sit in car and she went for a ride. He was very pleasant to talk to and help full. Spoke to Chris Dowling on a Friday to get some information for my cousins car. He told me he was going to call me back after speaking to his Tech and never did. My recommendation never use him as an advisor. Especially when it comes to brakes so I guess theyre not worried about peoples safety
A few weeks ago I had to go to the service department as I thought I was having some car issues. I showed up as the first appointment of the day and spoke to Ross the service manager. I outlined the issue that I was having and then he troubleshot it and it turned out I was not experiencing an issue at all. I have dealt with Ross in the service department in the past and Ive always found them to be very kind and willing to go the extra mile whether it be for a repair or if I just need an air in the tires. It seems the people that lie understand that its the ongoing customer service that keeps a lot of people coming back and buying cars, and not just a good deal when buying a car. I have recommended Lee Auto Mall two others when I learn that they are seeking to purchase a new car.

I bought a 2014 Honda Civic Sedan last week from Blake Laughlin @ Lee Honda. Overall, my experience was exceptional. If I could rate higher than 5 starts, Id give a 10. Blake was extraordinary from the start! I visited many brands, across multiple dealerships, and not one salesperson was even comparable to Blake. The first night, I arrived right at close, but Blake stayed much later than needed to speak with me. I returned twice over the course of a week, and eventually completed my sale with him, problem-free. Throughout the process, he was extremely professional, courteous, very knowledgeable, and constantly available to answer any questions or concerns I had. Best of all, he wont push you; everything is 100% pressure-free and taken at your own pace. You cant ask for a better person to guide you through a process that can be stressful and overwhelming at times. As of writing this, he is fairly new to Lee Honda, but you wouldnt know. If you are planning to visit, ask for Blake!I will definitely be returning to Lee for all of my service, and will only be working with Blake for my future purchases. Jim Fournier was an excellent salesperson. He showed me the vehicles I requested (even though I went to the showroom during a snowstorm) and was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient with my questions. I did not feel pressured at all. When I picked up my car, the car was ready on time, and Jim spent a lot of time on reviewing the details of the features so it made me very comfortable driving the car home. In addition to this they met my price point and I have an awesome and reliable car....a Honda !
Recently bought an Audi A5 from this dealer. Entire experience was smooth. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were honest and forthcoming with everything we needed to know about making the purchase. They did not haggle you about buying unnecessary add-ons, however, for that reason I will likely return to buy a warranty in the near future. Its nice not being pressured on the spot. Mike Clements was very prompt at answering questions and was very professional. Although I have only had the car a few days, I am confident in posting a positive review.I highly recommend business here.

Wife bought a 2011 crysler 200 from them and w have had it for 2 years and have already put over 4000 dollars into it. From rear subframe bushings to struts and towers in the back. It seems like every month its something else with the car. On top of that my sister in law bought a car from them and she has had to replace the alternator 2 times the battery twice and the power steering pump once with only haveing the car for less then 2 years. But both of them have told lee auto and every time they have said there is nothing they can do.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THERE.
An interesting experience. Still not sure if I’ve been taken for a ride. The salesman Mike K. was nothing more than a gentleman; however he got me into the car I wanted to. The sales managers that take over after that have been a mixed bunch. I’m very happy they got me into my GTI!The dealership definitely took me for a ride on the warranty, but I asked for it. Good people but they know how to take advantage of people, so don’t go in as eager to make a deal as I was.They play the game. Beware if you’re not willing to participate.
Terrible Service Department! I took my 2015 GMC Sierra in for warranty work and from the time I walked through the door, I received terrible customer service. They told me before they even looked at my truck that most likely nothing was wrong with it. Then, after looking at my truck, they told me that every single issue- which included issues with shifting, my touch screen being slow to respond, and some random squeaks in the leaf springs that you would expect from an old truck- were the result of my after market exhaust. They did fix anything! I am not a technician, but I know my transmission and touch screen are not related my aftermarket exhaust. The service department manager/ director told me that I should take my truck elsewhere if I thought something was wrong with it. So, I did! I couldnt be happier with Bill Dodge! I was greeted with excellent customer service and they fixed every single issue with my truck. They had me talk directly with a tech to let them know what was going on and even offered to have me show the tech what was going on with the shifting. Lee refused to let me show them what was going on with the shifting after they told me nothing was wrong with it.
Had the best car buying experience Ive ever had at Lee Auburn. My salesperson was Angie L. Lafayette and she was just wonderful! Very knowledgeable and pleasant, she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the car (and I am!). I appreciate the no-pressure sales approach and felt like I was treated well and got a good car at a reasonable price.

The mud flaps were put on quickly while we waited. Then we happily drove away with a full tank of gas in our brand new white truck that has an excellent rating on fuel consumption. Margaret Olson is a delightful and knowledgeable sales person who doesnt push. I felt that my wants and needs were respected and she wanted to help me find the car I loved, not the one they wanted to get rid of (an experience I have had in other places). Paperwork always takes longer than I anticipate, but that is the way paperwork is these days.

Amazing!I went in not expecting to be approved for any vehicle to be honest. Risa came right out and met me outside, immediately made me feel welcome and assured me that she would do everything she could to get me into a vehicle that day!I told her I needed cheap and reliable. She never offered me a singe vehicle that I couldnt afford, and only discussed vehicles we both knew I could afford. We decided on one, I test drove it, loved it and drove away with it. Risa truly went to bat for me and she has my business for my life! I never once felt like I was sitting with a stranger who had their interests ahead of mine. I felt like I was sitting with my mom, and she was truly there for me.I would recommend Risa EVERYTIME!
Asked for them to check my suspension when I took my car in for service. Was told they did and everything was fine. Turns out they did NOT check ANYTHING, and now that my car is no longer under warranty I have to pay for the lower swing arm. WILL NEVER LET THEM TOUCH MY CAR AGAIN. Scam artists, all of them

My husband and I went into the Lee Auto in Norway Maine just to see if we would get approved for a loan, to our surprised we were approved! Originally the loan company said we needed a much larger down payment so we wouldnt be able to get the SUV for a month. Rocky and Tony worked their magic to get me in my used SUV today. They gave me more money for my trade then I was originally told which helped me get my car so soon! The customer service at this dealership is amazing. They are all very sociable, know their stuff, and know how to make customers happy! I would recommend them to ANYONE! Thanks again for making me a very happy woman!!

Just bought a CR-V through Lee Honda. Kenneth Marr was my sales person and we was very friendly and helpful in the process. Being a CR-V owner himself, he also really knew the vehicle and its ins-and-outs. The CR-V is a great, reliable and safe vehicle. They have made it a very comfortable ride and added many great features such as the back-up camera. I would definitely recommend shopping here to my family and friends.
Went for a regular service, oil change and tire rotation. Was told itd only take about an hour. One hour and 45 minutes later i was finally able to leave. I appreciate that they washed my car for me but when its only 17 degrees out with a snow storm happening may not be the best time for such luxuries.

I have tried to buy a vehicle there twice now...first time I went in and talked to someone...never got back to me...this I called and the sales woman was nice but again im sure I can find you what you want it will take a couple hrs and I will get back to you she says well its been over 24h and no call back...I will stick with Quirk...
I got a call from the Augusta Lees, we went to the showroom, the sales person I spoke with on the phone was not in the showroom at that time. We talk with another sales person, and we did not get much in the way of help. We were looking at another car in the lot and he said you dont want that one . So went home and waited for a call from the showroom with another car. We got a call that the car was in, so we went up to test drive it . We got back to showroom, to talk numbers and they gave us a price and we said it to high, we told him what we were willing to pay, and the next day they said we could not get close to their number and they would even drop the price even a little. Not a good day, so we will not do any business them.
Mike K and the rest of the team at Lee Auto Mall treated me well; worked hard to get me the financing that I needed; and the car is excellent. Ive been very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

I dropped off my Denali for a recall and an inside/outside cleaning. I have 3 children my truck was a disaster, when i picked my truck up it looked newer then when i bought it! I was amazed! Everyone was so friendly they called me and explained everything what was going on with my truck in a way i could understand. I will recommend Lee to everyone!
LEE GETS ZERO ⭐️ FROM A LOYAL CUSTOMERI traded in my 2015 Jeep for a 2017 & asked to have the grill, angel halo headlights & fog lights removed & returned as they were a x-MAS gift from my 13 y/o son & I would give them back the original brand new grill & lights from Mopar. It was discussed & agreed to by Service & Sales as part of the deal.When I went in to bring the parts, my parts had not even begun to be removed as promised. I spent the next several weeks getting the run-around on who had them. I spent the last few days chasing the sales guy & sending him the receipts when I was finally told they were missing.After going in on Saturday, Ed, some manager person, met w/ me & stated he would write a check to cover the replacement of the items that they lost as it was their error. I could get the $ to replace them on Monday.Now, as I am attempting to collect the check as I was told, I am now being informed they have 1 of the 2 pieces of the grill so they will not reimburse now for that. I asked how I was supposed to attach it to th e vehicle. The response from Ed was “I don’t know, you said grill”. I explained that both pieces were needed & that BOTH PIECES are the grill~like buying a PAIR of shoes but only getting 1. He still is refusing to cover the $ then stated he was doing ME A FAVOR by even attempting to fix their error!!!!I have bought 6 Jeeps from them @ +$35,000 & will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER go there again or refer anyone!
After trying another dealership went back to Lee where I have bought several vehicles over the years. Im glad I went back again. A very good buying experience. Also have had a couple service visits in the past and have been treated very good, never any issues that where not fixed professionally and perfectly.Thanks Chuck Poulin for this last buying experience.

My wife and I were on the fence - trying to decide whether to keep the older Liberty or buy a new Grand Cherokee. We had done the online searches and knew pretty much what we were after. Paid 70.00 for a car wash with vacuuming and glass as well. Brake dust still on wheels after and sections between seats not vacuumed. Would not be an issue if I hadnt paid 70.00 for that. Otherwise very friendly staff and got me in right away.

I bought a Dodge 2500 Quad Cab on November 4th, 2003 from Lee Auto Mall in Auburn, Me. Today, over 10 years later is the first time it hasnt started for me. BTW, it is -32 degrees here in Minnesota this morning. Still, I am extremely happy with the service I had while in Maine, and I intend on returning to Auburn, Maine when I decide to buy another truck. That is just how great the staff is there. The name of the salesman escapes me at this time, but every time I visit the neighborhood there, he remembers me. Yes, I have his card in the truck.
This purchase was my 4th Toyota from Lee for me personally, and the third this year alone counting my family. This is the best dealership Ive ever worked with... and being 60 years old Ive dealt with many over the years. Chris Leblanc at Lee Toyota in Topsham, ME did a wonderful job at meeting my needs at a price that I could afford. There was no pressure from Chris and although he followed up and kept in touch, I wasnt flooded with a intrusive phone calls and emails. Everyone at the dealership was very pleasant and courteous which made leasing car for the first time less nerve wrecking. I am ecstatic with my new Camry and will see you again in the future when I need another vehicle!

Had recently bought a vehicle at Lee in South Paris. My wifes car had her engine light come on about a month after, so I thought I would give them the service. They ran a diagnostic on it and all they could find was low antifreeze. Filled the reservoir and sent me on my way. One week later, my wife has the heater core explode on her leg while driving sending hot antifreeze on her and through the car. She limped to the Lee in Auburn where the tech there could not believe that this was not discovered before. Called South Paris, told them what happened. Service manager assured me he would call Auburn to get details and call me back. 24 hours later and still no call. Will not be doing any business with Lee in South Paris again!!! Do not like getting lip service!
