I was thoroughly pleased with the job Big & Small Moving did for us when they helped us with a partial move from Roswell to Midtown. They were recommended by my daughter and they were wonderful from start to finish. They arrived on time (actually early) and finished the job in half the time they estimated and the invoice reflected that savings. The movers were professional and easy to deal with and the owner, Moses, kept in good communication with us. I will definitely use them for our bigger move when the time comes. I highly recommend them.

Beyond being professional, the owner and each one of the moving people exhibited kindness and compassion for the emotions and the exhaustion that accompany a move. From the big things to the little, they were highly responsive. The price was more than fair, in fact less than I guesstimated. So much better dealing with the owner than a representative from a large company or franchise. I wholeheartedly recommend their service.

I used their packing and moving services. They were at my home 3 times prior to the move to evaluate all that was needed. I was told 2 days prior to the move that I was in good shape and didnt need to worry about packing any further. The day of the move was a totally different story. It was too much, any other moving company would walk away, and I was SO LUCKY that they would treat me special and do the move regardless of how difficult it was. WHAT??? They knew I was on a deadline and totally took advantage. The Price went up and the quality went down. Im still finding damage two months later. They were careless and destructive. Valuable things are still missing and boxes are unpacked...so where are they? They put moving tape across hand painted furniture, they broke glass, they twisted hinges on antique furniture, lost the roller from an office chair, broke the arm of an occasional chair, over half of my lamps are damaged. The boxes I paid them to pack for me contained much of the damage. Their packing was pitiful. All of this I reported to them and their owner/manager Moses assured me he would help get them repaired. NOTHING BUT SMOOTH TALK FROM HIM...NO ACTION AND NO FOLLOW-THROUGH. I emailed the list he requested weeks ago and he has done nothing. DONT LISTEN TO THE ASSURANCES. Although he may be well-meaning and well spoken, he has no control over his crews. This was a 250 mile single house/family instate move. We made a big mistake hiring this company.

My wife and I purchased some furniture from a friend that was moving out of town, we used big and small moving to transport The furniture to our home. The crew showed up on time wrap the furniture so well we couldn’t even tell what it was. friendly guys and got it done in a timely manner with no complaining. We hired Big & Small Moving to help us move some very heavy office furniture within our office. Setting up the appointment was very easy and they were very communicative with us prior. The crew that showed up was professional, friendly and very efficient. Nothing was damaged and they took the time to understand our needs and make adjustments as needed. They did everything we asked and even removed some of our large/heavy trash. The rates were fair - I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to friends and colleagues.

DO NOT USE!! If i could give zero star, i would. The movers sent to move my things stole an item from me, damaged some of my items and they also damaged the door and walls of my new condo. Price was also ridiculous for the kind of service provided. Total cost of goods stolen and damaged was at least $1500. I called their boss Moses to report the issue and he offered me $100 for the broken item, by the way the item cost $600. I refused and demanded a full refund. Reported the stolen item to the cops and the cops are currently investigating. DO NOT USE!!!

I had previously moved twice before, this was the third and best move so far. I’m glad I did not hire somebody off craigslist like my last two moves. These guys were phenomenal!! Big and small Moving sent a great crew who are friendly polite and knew what they were doing. They were not the cheapest people out there, but by far the best choice for the job. I can see the value in hiring a professional company. No damage at all, and they even followed up with me to make sure everything was fine with the move.

Just moved to town from Jackson, MS. Had to go down 5 flights of stairs.. they unloaded a jam packed 20’ uhaul... all in 2 1/2 hours... pretty amazing to say the least. Fair price and I was called today to see how it went... I’ve been a multi unit leader in retail for a long time... you don’t get that very often.. impressed!I will use them for the full service move, when I move again.... sorry guys, those stairs will reappear!!Seriously, I highly recommend this company!

I had a nightmare move. I had originally contracted with a larger, national carrier for my local move. Mainly because we were combining two households in to one. Boy was that a mistake. Despite warning them that they would be in for a difficult move and would be unable to get their truck up my driveway, therefore, they needed an alternative plan in place, when they got to my home, they could get nothing inside.I called Moses at Big and Small. Unlike the other company, he immediately came out to test drive my driveway to work out the correct vehicle to use to accomplish the move. While the other company took 4 days to be unable to come up with a solution, Moses had it immediately. We picked up all of our household belongings from the other movers four days after they failed to climb our hill, and he had the move done within a reasonable number of hours considering the difficult situation he and his crew were faced with.Regarding his moving crew - fantastic. The guys did a great job. Never did they let the difficult nature of our move get them done. They were up beat, never complained and worked extremely hard to make sure that my wife and I were happy with the move. They put all belongings where we wanted and did their job with quickness and respect for our possessions.I could not be happier with Moses and his team. They really went above and beyond my wildest expectations.You can trust Moses to understand the job, communicate the issues, find a solution, and get the job done at a fair price.

I did not use these movers but my sister did when she moved from Atlanta to Savannah. I have been helping her unpack. Any mover that packs lamps upside down in the box cannot be trusted. We believe they stole her jewelry and we know they broke many items. We have waited until now to post this very poor review in order to give the company some time to fix things. Although they have said that they would nothing has happened. It has been more than six weeks since the move and at this point we are trying to fix things ourselves. These movers not only packed things extremely poorly, like the glass picture frame tossed into a box with heavy books and not an ounce of wrapping, but they increased the price of the move by a considerable amount after the move. I wouldnt trust them to move my cat litter box.

I was very impressed with Big & Small Moving LLC! The communication was incredible. I was kept up to date each step of the way and never had to worry about my next steps. On moving day, the moving team arrived exactly as scheduled. They packed my items with care and worked like a well-oiled machine. I cannot speak highly enough of Big & Small Moving and I will definitely use them again!

I didn’t have much stuff to move and didn’t need to move it very far. I looked around a bit hoping to find someone who would not charge me an exorbitant price. Big and Small moving gave me a good deal and handled my stuff with care, even though it was only going a short way. They were very punctual and professional and really showed why they are big and SMALL Moving.

The company provided a professional consultation before the move and walked me through all of the steps in a very detailed manner. The movers showed up within the time described and moved everything to my satisfaction.

Called this company to simply unload HALF of a uhaul. They arrived and worked for 30 minutes. They then broke a peice of a dresser. Their response?.. they left the job and left the customer completely without movers.. why? A gut feeling the OWNER said.

We needed to move on short notice. To make matters worse, we needed certain items moved to 2 different locations. One of the items was very heavy and needed to make sure nothing would get damaged due to selling our home. I spoke to Mosas (sp?) the day prior. He is very professional and got me in immediately. The movers that came out were fast and efficient. The quality of their service is top tier and second to none. We will be moving again soon and I would not hesitate to call these guys again. No wonder why these guys have such a high rating.

I’m in a high rise in midtown Atlanta, and I had to my furniture to a storage unit. I did a lot of research and chose to go with big and small moving after talking to a lot of different companies, and I am so so glad I did. The crew they sent was fantastic. Professional, nice, and very efficient, which is important when you’re paying for movers. They were careful with my furniture, they shrink wrapped it well and took the large items apart so everything would fit in the storage unit. Tico was a master At packing and totally reorganized everything in my storage unit so my furniture could fit. Moving is extremely stressful, but these guys made it better.

After hearing some horror stories of moving companies arriving late and damaging items, I decided to save myself the drama and go with a little more expensive moving company that had better reviews. Utilized Big and Small for second time. First time dealt with owner, and everything went well. Second time, the movers damaged my furniture. I have emailed the owner 3 times to resolve the issue, and they will not return my communication. BEWARE.Update: Wow. The owner literally just proved why you shouldnt do business with them (read his response to my review). First, he still has never responded back to my requests for help. Second, the damage was caused because the movers literally dropped the furniture as they were carrying it. Second, there was power and water to the home, which clearly means that either his crew lied to him, or he has our move confused with another customers. Third, the credit card company investigated the damage, and communicated with the owner, which resulted in the credit card company refunding our money for the move. That proves that the claim wasnt false, and that the moving company was indeed, wrong. The fact that the owner of the company would then take to Google, to try and misrepresent what actually happened, only further proves that theyre unethical. As I said the first time...BEWARE!

I was not very happy with the outcome of the move.At the start of the move Moses lied and said he was not the person I spoke with to set up the move that in fact it was his brother. But when I spoke to him regarding my concerns after the move he stated he was. He was argumentative, he termed everything in the conversation as an owner doing his followup until the end of the call and told me I was incorrect because he was there. My concerns were devalued. This is not a company I recommend.
