Not enough tables to sit at but when there is it is a really great place to study since it closes rather late. Lots of windows so the sunlight makes it very nice, and the service is good. Located in midtown so there’s lots to do around here, and they have plenty of couches so I recommend coming with a book to read rather than to write on. The waffles are worth the price and really good!
Must visit local micro-roaster. Meet Div and Justin who source their beans from Rwanda (land of a thousand hills) and roast them up in the Roswell/Alpharetta area. Great coffee with Divs recommendation being the Nziza, a single origin they began roasting only a few months ago. Espresso was a blend of Rwandan/Brazilian beans. Terrific space and great men running the shop.
Every time I come in here it seems like the baristas are annoyed that you came and interrupted their homework/art session.
Definitely enjoyed this Cafe. My friend and I were riding bikes around Atlanta and it took a while but once we got here it was definitely worth it. Clean all around and has a comfortable sitting area where you can enjoy your coffee and do your work. The baristas were friendly and very helpful on choosing my coffee (vanilla cinnamon) and food.
Ive been going to the location in Atlantic Station for a while and only recently tried this location. Dont think Ill ever go to a different location. Its spacious and theres plenty of seating both on couches and tables. The coffee and food is great and the staff is fantastic. Theres easy parking in the garage behind the building that, theyll validate for two hours.
Looking forward to returning with my friends. Prices are decent. Reminds me of a place in New York I liked to visit.
Love the coffee and its perfectly brewed, Good job
Land of Thousand hills not only has amazing coffee and espresso but the staff is extremely friendly and nice. They are always very helpful in choosing a beverage and are super conversational. It is a great stop in the morning for an ever better cup of coffee.
Closing early is rude!!
Update 9/21/2018: After living here for just over a month and having bopped all over the place, I have to say that Land of a Thousand Hills Midtown has the best, most consistent espresso that Ive had in the Midtown area.Great coffee shop with affordable coffee and a lovely atmosphere and staff. I work from home and love taking time from my regular schedule to visit this shop. The coffee is great and they have a nice selection of recently roasted beans available to purchase.Im typically a black coffee kind of person, so I cant speak to their specialty drinks (yet), but they have a consistent coffee that isnt bitter like competitors.
I stopped by here on my way to work and grabbed a 16 oz drip and a bacon and pimento cheese Danish. Staff was friendly and readily had recommendations when I asked. Definitely a go-to if youre staying in Midtown!
The actual food and drink items here are good, but I just dont find myself wanting to go back because the environment is kind of blah. it is right next to one of those professional pay-to-work-here spaces which in turn gives the coffee shop a weird vibe. they do have cute tables outside but again it all feels kind of manicured.
Cool coffee shop with beer & wine and some snacks/pastries available. They also validated our parking in the garage attached to the building as a plus!
Daily I order the blue berry lemon muffin (warmed just a bit). Today I arrive to meet my wife, while waiting I asked for a glass of water. I sat down and observed two gentlemen working at the large table both on laptops and neither drinking or eating anything. While sitting in the chairs by the window and the front door, a young man walks over to me and says: “This searing is for paying patrons, you’re welcome to sit over in the building’s lobby area.” I explained that I usually do eat here but today I’m strictly having a glass of water and waiting on my spouse who may order. He hands me a menu and asks that I move to the lobby area. I move with no resistance and I continue to observe the two gentlemen occupying a table and not ordering a darn thing. Policies are policies and I get it. However, if you’re going to enforce them at least be consistent.
Cool coffee shop. Lots of seating, but could use a few more tables. Scone was tasty. Good latte & brewed coffee.2 hour parking in garage behind, so be sure to get your ticket stamped!
I have just ordered a coffee and the lady that asked for my preference spoke really quickly. When I asked her to repeat what she said, she looked at her co-worker and he start laughing. Not nice. But maybe Im too sensitive. I have just moved from overseas and Im having a problem understanding people here in the USA, they just speak too fast. However, a bit of cultural sensitivity will be appreciated.
For a midtown/downtown coffee shop this was very underwhelming. The area for adding to coffee (cream/sugar) was limited to where only one person could even access the small section available. No room was left in cup if you needed to add cream or sugar and no place to pour out. Cold and unpersonable decor. Their mission to to help coffee farmers and thats great but with a little more inviting approach and better selection would help ten-fold
They make great coffee but despite saying they are opened at 7 I’ve been there 3 days in a row first at 7,then 7.10 then just now 7.15 and THEY ARE STILL RUNNING AROUND SETTING UP with 5 people waiting. Get your act together guys!!
First off, the coffee. Considering the abysmal lack of quality roasters in Atlanta, it is quite good. Second only to Revelator in Ponce City Market. The ambience in this particular location is non-existent, as it shares a space with an office buildings lobby. I recommend it if youre looking to grab a good cup of coffee to go.
Great coffee and chill spot. Right next to a Spaces working area. Great in case you need to post up and do work or want to chill out and enjoy people watching.
This location is one of my favorite coffee shops in Atlanta. Its great for a quick drink to grab and go, or if you have time, the couches are great for getting work done or talking with friends for a while. Theres so much natural light that comes into the building as well. Great baristas and quality coffee.
New coffee shop thats more like a relaxing lounge with couches spread out than your typical noisy, cramped chain. Also has a huge wraparound counter with outlets - perfect spot for writing. Only had a black coffee which was good. Also nice outside space in front.
A unique coffee shop in the heart of midtown. I appreciate what theyre going for, given that they are in a shared building. Their nitro cold brew is really fun and regular drip coffee doesnt disappoint.
This is a nice coffee shop with a wide selection of coffee beverages. Outdoor seating, indoor space and seating is ample ranging from chairs to stools to sofas. A great place to relax with a cup of good coffee and read, work on your computer or talk with friends.
Coffe is very good, just wish there were more options of pastries to choose from.
Great coffee and very kind staff. Excellent place to wile away some time
Really great variety of seating (bar, table, sofa seating) as well as coffee and beer on offer at the right times. Next to the great working vibe of a common working space.Plus, great story and cause behind the coffee!
The coffee is pretty good, but they lost me by microwaving my croissant. All it did was melt the butter out from all of the layers and make it chewy. They should know better.
Coffee was great and the baristas were awesome! Really enjoyed being able to go there while I was visiting☕️❤️
This location of Land of a Thousand Hills is wonderful. The baristas are all kind and engaging. There is plenty of natural light and comfortable seating.
Very friendly coffee shop that offers an always rotating selection of beans for pour over and French press. The cold brew nitro on tap is really flavorful. Staff is helpful and quick. Best coffee spot in midtown
I had a latte that was mediocre. There was hardly anything in the cooler and what was available looked old and unappetizing. It is too bad that it has been neglected, because the location is great and its a cool spot otherwise.
The coffee sucked. Tasted horrible. I had to go to Starbucks to get the taste out of my mouth.
Coffee is fine and the ambiance is cute. However the wifi knocks you off after 4 hours of use. We brought this up with the baristas since we left the site for 1.5 hours for lunch across the street, came back and bought more coffee, then were knocked off the internet. Apparently management makes these decisions and the baristas dont have any ability to restore customer internet access. Additionally I overheard the baristas talking about their frustrations with management re: bosses insisting they serve food that is old, being made to refreeze and rethaw the items to sell to customers. I am unlikely to come back.
This place has the some of the best matcha in Atlanta although sometimes and more than often they are out so be aware. Sometimes you get some great stuff Baristas there and other days are so so the Atlantic Station spot is much friendlier on average.
Loved it! Great coffee and great service, also very comfortable place to set and enjoy your coffee.
This spot was so good I had to come here twice on the same day for cortados. Neither time did I feel as though I was not as energized as the last which makes this cafe quite satisfactory in my opinion.
Excellent pour over- worth the few extra minutes. Great simple shop, good coffee.
Comfortable and quiet coffee shop. good staff, slightly overpriced, but amazing coffee. clean and spacious. lots of great pastries.
Great service. Great coffee. Amazing pastries. If you’re in the area you should give this place a try. It’s worth it.
Terrible customer service that makes absolutely no sense.I asked for a 16oz coffee, because the have 16oz cups, they say “ thats only for drip coffee”, i say “you have the cups, just charge me extra” and they literally refuse because or “pricing”I was willing to pay 7$ for a latte that they could make and literally refused out of laziness. Will not return.Coffee sucks too.
Ice cold and windy morning in Midtown. The Land delivered on a hot latte, absolutely perfect and a stellar piece of quiche. Both were still hot when I got back to my hotel.
They weren’t welcoming. Seems a bit uninterested in customers. I expected better. No one wants to go to a coffee place that’s not a joyous atmosphere.
One of my favorite coffee shops in ATL.
Thousand Hills always has great and attentive service, and their products are top-notch.
Great ambiance, love the chai latte, and supports great work in Rwanda. I love it!
Love the nitro coldbrew I ordered. Creamy foam on top of the coffee.
Great coffeehouse in midtown with a good purpose. The atmosphere is cold though.
Excellent coffee and service. Never tried to do work here so I dunno bout wifi or outlets but its usually not crowded or loud so I imagine it would be a good spot.
Chill spot and friendly staff. Unique menu items as well... will definitely be back!
Nice funky and very quiet oasis in Midtown. And barrista knows how to do her chai latte
Greatest coffee shop bar on the planet for working on homework. Don’t put your feet on the sofas tho bc security will fight you so beware that’s a rule. Made my feel at home tho cus my momma kinda strict growin up anyway.
A clean and friendly coffee shop downtown. The seating appears to be part of a lobby for an office building, but it comfortable. Coffee is not fantastic but the baristas are competent and could make a decent Americano. Pastries are merely Ok.
Such a good coffee! Nuff said
One of my favourite coffee shops in midtown. Unfortunately loses a star because its located in the lobby of a busy building, with a particularly annoying moving/noisy display that makes working there get annoying fast!
A nice, upscale hipster place to hang out. Great coffee and pastry options; plus a friendly staff.
Land of a Thousand Hours to get a coffee. Unbelievable wait times.Alas, roasts are good
Im in here 5 days a week without fail, always leave wanting more. Could use a better feminist button selection.
Good coffee. More local focused. Super clean and bright.
Great ambience and nice place to work but the flat white could be much better
Great place. One Racist barista.
Good coffee. Will be there again for sure!
Excellent service and quiet location makes this a great little cafe to read or hang out in. Lots of outdoor seating.
Just bought a bag of freshly roasted beans .the staff was kind enough to make me a free cup with the beans I bought too! Will definitely be coming back for more .Thank you!
Great place, chillout/house/lounge music would make this place even better :)
Excellent coffees, relaxing environments both inside and out.
Super cozy, great for working. Would recommend overall.
Awesome coffee!!!! So goooood!!! Awesome customer service!!! Good cause! Yum! Will be back!!
Excellent coffee and nice atmosphere! I do recommend!
Great atmosphere, great coffee and great place to get things done
Perfect cortado. Comfortable seating.
Great atmosphere, great service, great coffee.
I visit this shop almost daily. Great people, coffee, and food.
The baristas are very polite and the coffee is great!
Its better than Starbucks, but honestly what isnt?
Great atmosphere, very nice barista, good pastries.
Great little coffee shop, iced carmel coffee was excellent!
Great coffee. Slow service.
Fine Rwandan coffee served by a very friendly staff!
Slow WiFi but great coffee!
Great service and food
Super expensive and only one barista working so, it took a long time to order
Pricey but delicious coffee.
Great coffee shop & work area!
Amazing people and amazing coffee..
The lavender latte was epic!
