This man runs his business the old school way. He felt he fell short in my experience with his business, and sweetened the deal for me to make up for it. I go here for all my phone repair and I beat my phone up a lot.Unassuming lil spot with fast white glove service and fair prices.

Took an hour the screen is cheap and high and it still glitches as if it’s cracked.. service use too be better.. not sure if their being cheap with product or just money hungry.. service use too be better not satisfied.

Its a scam. I bought a phone in for service to the screen. I picked it up, and the battery port no longers work. The ”doctor” claimed it wasnt charging, and it would cost me another $40. I called to speak to the manager regarding this experience. I explained to her I was leaving town and the phone was vital. I told her I would provide her with proof of receipt of the repair. She said if I have the phone repaired it would void out the warranty. As I was explaining to her how that policy couldnt apply, she hung the phone up. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Its a scam and poor customer service! Im literally paying double for a singular service.

Got a new used phone with cracked screen. iPhone XR and they had it replaced in 30 minutes while I had a beer at wrecking bar on a table by myself away from everyone during Covid times. It’s like new again.

I visited this location on 09/04/2019 - The technician Dr. PhoneMax was very professional and finished with my phone in a matter of 10 mins. The service I received was EXCEPTIONALLY OUTSTANDING. Great price too for my repair. (Blacked out screen and it was also cracked).

Couldnt even get a phone call in to check their stock.

As an accident prone iPhone user, I needed someone nearby who could repair my phone so I didnt have to go all the way to the Apple Store. PhoneMax is the best! They are quick, courteous, and detail driven. They took the time to answer my questions, and show me the signs of damage I caused to my device. I wont hesitate to go there again.

The worst... Called owner/ Tech Mr. PhoneMax to have my cellphone unlocked from carrier. He told me he can do it - Just needed my IMEI to make sure it wasnt blacklisted. Told me he would call back - never heard back. So I stopped by the shop 3 separate days and this guy is never at the shop. He has a guy working there that watches TV all day that is unable to provide any service. Please dont waist you time with this place. Tech is never at the shop, service is poor (no call back). The 3rd and final time I stopped by the store the rep finally gets in touch with tech Mr.PhoneMax and now he says the SYSTEM IS DOWN so he would need to call me back when system is up and running. As you know - Never received a call back. Over it.. This place is very unreliable and theres always a issue or excuse on why the service cant be provided at the that time. Who leaves a person in charge of the store who doesnt know anything about phones or the services. If you want reliable phone tech and quality service check out Tapeworm about 7 minutes down the road. Please dont waist your time with this place.

I went in to get an iPhone 7+ unlocked, walked out a lifetime customer. He was very helpful and professional. Even though he couldn’t do what I originally wanted done, I still got exactly what I wanted. I will definitely recommend him to my friends. And I’ll definitely be back.

I brought my phone to this shop around June 2017. I had a pretty badly broken screen but besides that my iPhone 5 worked fine. When I spoke with the repair man he looked at my phone and gave me a price which was way more than I have ever paid before (I have used this shop before and paid $60 max) he was charging me around $150. So I said I might just buy a new phone since that is way more than my phone was worth at the time. He manipulated me into using his services, saying it would cost more to get a new phone etc. He then took my phone without having me sign a contract or anything. When I got my phone back, the screen looked great but I wasnt able to make or receive calls or texts. My phone was saying No Services where it usually says AT&T in the top left corner. I went back and forth between him and AT&T trying to figure out what was going on. After AT&T ensured me that it wasnt an issue with my service provider I went back to this store to try to get it fixed. He looked at it, not really seeming to actually know what was wrong and proceeded to tell me I had water damage and he was not liable for the issue I was having. So this man put me out over $150 and then would not even address my issue or try to fix it after he repaired it. Of course he wasnt actually legally responsible for causing the issue but I felt very scammed.. after reading other comments I see that a few people have had this experience. Dont go here!!! Go to the place down the street in the green building.

Walked right in for an Iphone 6s screen repair. My son is Army and was going overseas same night. He had the screen repaired in 25 minutes. Great price on repair and the gentleman was extremely nice. WouldRecommend highly.

They do good work here, but I can no longer rely on them to fix my phone when I need it fixed. Last night I left work and rushed over to PhoneMax to arrive 45 minutes before their advertised closing time, but the shop was locked up with nobody inside. This is the second time they have closed early without explanation when Ive needed them; they have lost my business.

Repaired apple watch for $150. After one month the glass started to show microfractures which eventually completely cracked. Obviously, this was cheap replacement glass. When i asked for help replacing he refused. Place is a joke .

Great experience. Called with a wet phone. The guy on the phone suggested I bring it to him or to someone as soon as possible to get the phone opened up. He said he would do a consultation that would take about 15 minutes at no charge. I dropped my phone off and went to grab a bite to eat and when I came back he had it all torn apart and explained everything to me about how he got it working again. THEN said, there is no charge at all unless you want me to complete the repairs. The phone is just like new now.

Ok, to start off. I gave one star cause I had to in order to make this complaint. Im a professional busy black woman and this company is in routine to where Im headed through the week. Long story short, as I went in there was a lady complaining to a short black guy, that they DID NOT repair her phone correctly. I didnt know what was going on with that so who am I to judge. It seemed like a legit company, however, I had no idea that this is how they do business. I had my phone repaired on May 25, 2016, June 4 2016, my phone was doing the exact same thing as it was before they so called fixed it. I took it back on the June 9, 2016, when there was another lady in front of me engaging in a full blown argument with the same short guy as before (but an entirely different woman) that her phone WAS NOT repaired correctly. She left out the door pissed and screaming. OK, now is my turn, the short guy pretty much told me that I did something to the phone period and hes not gonna fix it. I paid $129 to get the phone fixed. My phone WAS NOT repaired correctly and I will be taking him to court, not only for my money back but for the principle, because Im a very busy woman and having to go through this. I will the pay extra money to take him to small claims court............... Today is my childs birthday and I was gonna give him this phone as his present (this will be brought up in court as well) Anyway this guy needs to go back to IT school. This is a very incompetent business. I believe he only do women like this. Hes afraid to treat any men like this.

I had an awful experience with this particular phone repair shop. I am a manager at the T-mobile directly down the street from this location and Ive always referred customers to this business as they do the same for us at this location. For one, they attempted to fix my phone and told me to report back within a half hour and when they werent able to fix my phone within that time frame they made me come back an hour later. When I returned to finally get the phone they had a non-OEM supposedly apple screen on my phone and they had it in the case. when i went to observe the phone it was damaged where the screen connected to the frame in which there are no dings and the phone never got dropped or water damaged. The OWNER, YES OWNER of the shop told me at that time there was nothing more that he could do even though the screen wasnt an apple screen in which he said it would be and it had obvious imperfections in which an apple screen would NOT have had. The owner closed the conversation by telling me I would have to pay for an entire new screen and frame after I JUST spent $130.00 on the screen. As a phone store expert, this is now how you treat customers. Especially those who refer clients to your business. I WOULDNT even give this business 1 star.

They don’t honor any of their promises they gave me a free temper glass to leave a good review on my second visit there which he did not fix my battery that was running hot while charging on a phone that I purchased from him and his wife via OfferUp be careful they sell phones with bad imei numbers I called the number posted for the store several times they don’t have proper business hours anyhow the phone dr told me bring it in yet again now the 2nd time I’m brining the phone back because of issues he was unable to process the imei so I could use the device and hung up on me when I called in frustration of being without a phone for nearly a week one of those days being my daughters birthday and birthday party I had to sell the phone to another buyer at a much lower price I lost time and money dealing with this company I don’t suggest repairs either because like I said your warranty will not be honored like promised! Expensive, cheap quality screen, home button loose.Got my iphone6 screen replaced here and was not pleased. The screen is not genuine, poor color, uneven backlight, home button is now wonky.
