Jordan Voss sold us a prepaid sim card that did not work. It was supposed to allow phone calls and have 5 gb. It did nothing, not even phone calls. He gave us a number to call to fix that problem, but we never got help that way either. AT& T just collects the money and does not give anything in return. Be aware.

Terrible service. Worst I’ve ever had. We’ve had AT&T for more than 10 years and we’ve never met such a rude and terrible representative. I walked in and was not greeted. We were ignored for probably 30 minutes. I wanted to leave, but I already paid for parking. The first thing I said was I wanted to upgrade my phone BUT do NOT change my plan. After looking over the receipt after purchasing a new phone, it showed that the rep changed our plan not once but like 3 times. Also, he knew we were coming in for a trade-in. After we set up the new phone he said he wasn’t allowed to do the trade-in and that his manager had to do it tomorrow. So we said umm okay, didn’t make sense since you had 2 hours to tell us?! After that we said okay we will come back tomorrow. He wanted us to leave our perfectly good trade in phone with him with absolutely NO indication that the one was mine and what it was for. I didn’t feel good about that so I went back to get it and left. We ended up going to the AT&T store on Ponce and they said they always have to angry customers from the Tech Square store come to them. HIGHLY recommend the Ponce store over this. I would recommend any store over this one. Even online service would be better.

I went here to get a repair for my older phone, the employees were decent. One of the employees made us wait for a hour while they were on they’re device.. doing nothing at all. A nice lady finally took us and told us that she was sorry, we weren’t looking sympathy we were looking for service, she finally took us after around 5 minutes of apologizing.

I went in today to ask about porting over a number to my existing account/adding a line. There was a promotion online to add a line while bringing your own phone, and youd get a $250 Visa gift card. I asked the store if they could honor that offer in store, since after looking it up again it said the promo was Online only. They said they couldnt. So I said that I would just do it online, but then the associate said that it could take up to 2 months for my SIM to come in, which seemed crazy, but I could live with that as long as I got the $250 gift card. Then she said I might not even get the gift card because sometimes ATT doesnt follow through on those promos. When I told her I would take my chance and try it out anyways, she caught an attitude with me and essentially tried to guilt trip me because she already inputted all of our info to port over a line.Super unprofessional staff. Not only am I shocked that she would say the company she is representing wont follow through on their promise of a promotion, but she also lied about how long it would take for a SIM to arrive. I filled out the request to port a line online and it says the SIM card should arrive in less than a week. I dont understand why she had to guilt trip me and lie to me just to get a sale/a new customer. Will not ever be returning.

I recently went to the AT&T store to upgrade my phone. Immediately when I walked in Trey helped me, He set me up with a new plan, a new phone. He made sure to go over any information that I needed to know so I had no surprises on my bill. Trey has to be the BESSSTTT customer service that Ive ever received with AT&T the 7 years that Ive had them. If you need help with anything go see Trey. I will be coming to this location for any issues.

Terrible experience. Got sold a prepaid SIM that didnt work, spent two hours talking to customer service who finally told me to go the store. Went in and was told rudely by the manager there was nothing he could do, he barely even tried to find a solution. He didnt look at my phone, SIM and told me he couldnt even refund me. Im absolutely livid.

I recently had a horrible experience at the CNN AT&T Store. The associate Mike went as far as to set me up with a service I did not request (Internet). However I decided to try again and ended up at this location. I read the reviews about this guy named, Dylan. Low and behold when I entered the store, I was greeted by the myth, the legend, Dylan. Dylan was professional and courteous through the entirety of our interaction. Dylan is the shining definition of customer service at its finest. He even assisted me with another issue I had where another associate added an Ipad to my account that I never received. Overall if there were more than 5 stars Dylan would have definitely earned it for this store. He is awesome. If you need any help whatsoever please go see Dylan and his staff.-Drink

During my visit today, Tanzia may have been the sole reason I did not suffer a nervous breakdown and swear off AT&T permanently. I went in to switch my AT&T postpaid wireless account to a prepaid account (I met all the necessary requirements for this transfer, but was told it had to be done in-store). There were all kinds of complications with the transfer originating from the issue of my previous family plan being a business account. Long story short, she provided a round-a-bout solution and was very transparent, kind, patient and resourceful through the entire ordeal.Im rating my experience with the staff at this particular store, not the AT&T business in general, so I had to go with five stars. Tanzia, never change.

Usually places like this I dread coming into. It’s 2019 shouldn’t everything be online by now? But nonetheless, this experience may very well have changed my perception on places like this. The person who helped me, Dylan I believe was his name, was extremely helpful and informative and made me feel completely content with everything he was doing as he educated me on things I couldn’t have possibly known. 10/10 will visit again!

This store & staff was absolutely amazing !!! I had a very complicated and nerve wrecking experience with another store as well as with Customer Service. Everyone gave me the run around and I was without a phone for 2 weeks not to mention I am a new business customer with AT&T. The associate Tanzia & the store manager David was very helpful! They both kept me laughing, were so positive and went above & beyond to get me a new phone and cleaned up the mess that was created by the other store. Thank you so much!!!

This is hands down the best AT&T store I have ever visited. I have used them to set up a new phone, make an insurance claim for a destroyed phone, and transfer everything to the new phone. All my visits were extremely productive, efficient, and timely. James is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and generally awesome. He goes the extra mile (or 10) to help customers. I have been blown away by their superior customer service. I would drive through rush hour Atlanta traffic to come to this AT&T location.

I received the best customer service form Tanzia and Jamar. I recently lost my I phoneXR hiking, Jamar assisted me with my claim and assured me me that the process was easy and it was, then when I restored my phone a lot of my pictures were missing from 2016-2017, I felt lost because very important moments with my son and best friend were missing. Tanzia helped me access my google photo . All my pictures were there, I had lost nothing. Tanzia and Jamar made the whole process easy. I’m super happy love AT&T.

I arrived at this store with a complicated situation of transferring existing lines between several businesses. James Rogers, the store rep, made this convoluted procedure as simple as it can be. This usually takes a while to do. However, he never rushed anything, explained things to me over and over again so I would be clear in understanding in what I am doing. He took his own personal time to help me when I had any issues and at the end he made it all happen. It is rare that you come across people like him, who make what usually is a boring situation, an absolute joy to complete. I recommend him for any of your needs, no matter how small or big, he is the guy to help you. You will not regret meeting this man. James, thank you again.

This just solidified my customer service experience with att, I walk into this store 62 5th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308, smiling and I was very cordial to customer service rep, I suggested she should smile and it would make my experience better! She ignored me and continued with the same bad attitude she had when I walked in. Att customer service sucks on the phone and in person. I Only giving 1 star because I have to.Heres my Story from the HORRIBLE SERVICE FROMSales Rep: HOLLY MARBELL AHRENDTSIt was near closing time however I was unaware being that I was recommended to come to this location from the Atlantic Station Location, the representatives were clearly ready to clock out and the upgrade process seemed very rushed. The attitude of the representative was not friendly at all. After providing my ID and signing the first agreement with the rep, I felt uneasy and very uncomfortable so I expressed to the rep my concerns. I advised I felt rushed and I understood the feeling of wanting to get off so when told by the representative when I sign the next document my phone service would go off I pressed decline on the document and advised I would wait until tomorrow to come back. I also expressed to her that no matter what time a person comes in service should be the same as I too have a profession in customer service. I advised the rep I would return tomorrow so that she could still have the sale and I walked out without my upgrade.I was on the phone while I was explaining my concerns and I was standing by the door when I ended my call to finish voicing my concerns. At this moment my service was still active. I walked out and went to my car and attempted to make a call, and I noticed my service was deactivated. I looked back at the door which was now closed with gate down. At this moment I became infuriated because I feel as if the representative maliciously deactivated my service due to my honesty being that my phone was just working less than 1 minute beforei reach my car. I had to drive back to the Atlantic Station location to have them restore my service to find out that the rep at the GaTech Store had Deactivated my sim and I had to get a whole new sim card.The unprofessionalism and the malicious actions of the representative was definitely not what I am use to from AT&T. I was highly upset with the service and the way I was treated as well as the time I wasted going back and forth from store to store based on that representatives actions. I would definitely like to be contacted in regards to the actions that can be taken due to my inconvenience and not having service.

TJ was awesome today!My significant other had an issue with both of his phones and had been to 3 other AT&T stores this week and was unsuccessful. When I suggested the GA Tech AT&T Location he was somewhat skeptical. I checked the ratings and it was definitely the best choice!By the time I found a parking spot (less than 5 minutes to find a spot) she rectified both issues on the phones and was putting the protective covers back on. I’m also big on customer service; I was greeted immediately and thanked for coming in. TJ has a good grasp on the concept of customer service and responds in a manner that makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. We definitely will be back soon. Job Well Done!

Not the experience that you used to get from this corporate owned store.went in to simply to make a change. It was given reasons why I was wrong that I needed to do that. Pros: Staff is polite & friendly. The store is easy to find.Cons: Inventory is lacking. Staff is not empowered to do anything.When I entered the store there were 2 staff and 2 customers, making me the 3rd and placing me in a waiting queue. It was lunch time so I wasnt entirely surprised to have to wait. It did take longer than I expected.Staff #1 was working with customer #1 ... sort of. The customer was sitting alone doing something on his laptop while the staff was sitting elsewhere apparently just waiting on him. She did not inquire about my purpose there.Staff #2 was working with customer #2 very actively to try to resolve her issue. He did greet me as soon as I entered the store and ask me to wait. He seemed enthusiastic to help the customer replace her phone, but they didnt have what she wanted in stock at this location. He was sure he could find it at a nearby store and began making the first of numerous calls. Once he did finally locate one, he was unable to get any cooperation in getting the phone delivered either to this location or to her home. The store was in a part of town she very clearly stated she would not return to due to an incident there which was the reason why she needed a new phone. A series of questions from her about why they could do this or that on the phone or Internet, but not in the store was met with a series of stock Well they wont let stores do X but maybe you can online answers. When I left, this poor woman was still very politely fuming.Eventually customer #1 sat back down with staff #1 and they completed their business. I dont know offhand if he was satisfied with his experience. She then inquired about my situation. I had opened up a prepaid account the night before, but I wasnt offered an opportunity to port my phone number in. I researched quickly and found that, for some odd reason, prepaid porting was only handled in store or on the phone. It should be free for 30 days after opening the account, but after that it would incur a charge. In-store ports would take 1-3 business days and over-the-phone would take 3-5 business days (say what?? Every other port Ive ever done took an hour or 2 at most unless an issue occurred, but even that one was maybe 24 hours). My old service was expiring in 4 days and since I didnt want to pay for another useless month of service, I went into the store to be safe. I was prepared with the account number, PIN, and phone numbers. First she debated my account number then once they agreed it was probably right she informed me that the port charge was $50 ...I was in disbelief. Ive never been charged to port a number to a new line (and usually not even to port a number to an existing line). I told them I just opened the account the previous night and the doc said it was free for 30 days. I was met with a bunch of shrugging and We cant do that statements with absolutely no checking. I had to pay or I couldnt port in my number that hasnt changed in 15 years.I laughed and said You know what? It really doesnt matter what number is actually on the phone anyway. Staff #2 looked at me and said Oh you use Google Voice, dont you dawg? and I confirmed his suspicion. Then we both laughed. Only a few poorly run utilities and other companies werent able to text my Google number anyway so no way I was paying the store extortion rate to port a number. The port charge is more than my monthly phone bill! I will lose my old phone number this weekend, but my Google Voice number was already working with the new number so it isnt a huge inconvenience. I did waste my lunch break, though.Summary? Dont bother with the stores unless you need something they definitely have in stock right now. The people are polite, but they are powerless to help you. You will get way better service online or on the phone. Its almost like AT&T is trying to drive their own stores out of business to reduce expenses. Some cell companies like to tout their physical store presence advantage, but I didnt see any advantage when I went there. Good luck!

I really think you should have more than one person manning the store, especially during the weekends. We waited nearly an hour only for the lady to tell us that they ran out of sim cards when we asked her. She should have asked us what we needed when we first entered the establishment. Up your game, AT&T before we switch services.
